What If
A load of random one shots with what if moments that I dreamed up. In all of these Troy and Gabriella are dating and no one knows.
The Dinner – Sequel to the Shopping Trip
She walked into the restaurant. Her bags hanging from her arms.
"God my arms feel like there going to drop fall off," she groaned.
"You should have gone to the car," answered Lexie.
"You have the keys," answered Gabriella.
"Were do you get the money for all this stuff?" asked Taylor.
"I have a good job," answered Gabriella.
"You write songs for a living and you've never had a number one hit," answered Taylor.
"I use a pseudonym I have had plenty of number one hits," answered Gabriella. "Search Brie Thomas."
"You write for Rebound?" asked Taylor.
Gabriella nodded. "Yeah."
"Really?" asked Taylor.
Meanwhile Troy had just come up from Zales – The Diamond Store. It had been three years. Ever since Gabriella had been introduced to Rebound as there new assistant four years ago Troy had been captivated. Then within six months she was writing for them.
Now they were coming out and they were going to do it in style.
I mean he hadn't been to the jewellers because they were coming out. He loved her. He wanted to spend the rest of his life with her.
He strode to the door of the FireLake Grill House and Cocktail Bar.
"Hey Troy!" called a voice.
He turned to see Chad.
"Tony says we've been ousted we've gotta get out before we get screaming fan girls," said Chad.
"Really?" asked Troy.
"Yeah you about to eat here or something?" asked Chad.
"I was about to propose to Gabriella," answered Troy.
"She's in there?" asked Chad.
"I just bumped into her in Hollister," answered Troy. "I had to drag her away from the clothes."
"Sounds like our Gabriella," answered Chad.
"Tony its Chad. Troy and I are going to eat in the FireLake Grill House and Cocktail Bar. Troy's propsing to Gabriella," said Chad,
"Well your fine anyway the fan outbreak has been contained tell him good luck," said Tony.
Chad hung up.
"All safe and he wishes you luck," answered Chad. "And Gabriella and her friends have just gone into Victoria Secrets."
"She's just been in there," answered Troy. "We haven't been stood here talking so long that they've eaten."
"I've already been in here," said Gabriella.
"Oh we'll be a few mins. You got a nice dress in one of those bags?" asked Carla.
"Yeah," answered Gabriella.
"Good Zoe got the six of us into dinner at Stonebrooke Golf Course," answered Carla. "So we're skipping a big lunch now. Going back to hotel having a snack and getting ready."
Gabriella nodded then as Carla walked off she looked out of the shop and made her way over to Troy and Chad.
"Change of plan!" she announced.
Troy jumped, turned and hid something behind his back.
"What's that?" she asked.
"Nothing," answered Troy. "What's the change of plan?"
"It's not nothing. We're going to Stonebrooke Golf Course for tea try and get in there if you can," she answered. "What is it."
"Yeah we'll try. Nothing it's a present for you at a later date," answered Troy.
"Fine," answered Gabriella. "I'm going back before they notice I'm gone."
Troy and Chad nodded. Gabriella headed back and they headed off phoning Stonebrooke as they went.
The girls didn't take long in Victoria Secrets and were soon on the way back to the hotel.
There reservation for Stonebrooke was at seven and it was five. So the second they got into their rooms they had to start getting ready.
Once they got to Stonebrooke they didn't – except Gabriella – expect to be seated next to Rebound.
"Oh mi god," whispered Carla.
Gabriella glanced to her right and smiled, before looking back at the girls.
"Please don't make a scene," she whispered.
"Can't you use your friend power to introduce us?" asked Carla.
"You dragged me out of lunch and I'm starving can we eat first?" asked Gabriella.
"But they might have gone by then," whined Carla.
The girls all pouted.
"You all look like two year olds. I'll go speak to them," said Gabriella.
Gabriella sighed, told the girls her order and headed to the next table.
"Sorry miss you can't go past us," said a security guard.
"Bradley surely you recognize me," said Gabriella.
Bradley looked at her.
"Gabriella sorry," he apologized.
"No harm no foul can I come past?" she asked.
He step to the side and Gabriella slipped past him. Her friends watched her walk to the table then Bradley stepped back into place and there view was obscured.
