What If

A load of random one shots with what if moments that I dreamed up. In all of these Troy and Gabriella are dating and no one knows.

Popstar in The Shop

Gabriella Montez knew from experience if one thing went wrong than everything probably would.

That's how most days at work went. When singing sensation/DJ/radio presenter on LA's radio breakfast show Good Morning LA turned up to present in the shop it would be a bad day – stressed filled were everything could and would go wrong.

"Hello I'm Troy Bolton with Good Morning LA I'm presenting from various local shops during this month for the local business month. May we present from your shop today?" asked troy.

With much persuasion the manager agreed and the a corner of the café became the studio. Troy was set up with a portable mic.

"Montez," said her boss. "Don't mess up. You mess up on air or video and your fired."

Gabriella swallowed and nodded.

"Go clean the tables you can't mess that up," she said.

Gabriella nodded, gathered the cleaning supplies and headed into the café.

She kept her head down, cleaned and listened to the radio show. But she never look at the radio team. She had a secret, she was dating Troy Bolton secretly.

Having meet in a club when she was twenty one. Now four years later she was twenty five and still unsure of what she wanted to do as she was then. She knew she didn't want to stay in the café and if she screwed up today it would be her last day. Having not seen Troy for four months, she couldn't wait to be in his arms again but their reunion was not happening in this café.

Troy looked up and was shocked when he saw his girlfriend cleaning tables in the café he knew she wasn't working in four month ago. Now she didn't look happy, she looked near tears.

She near their tables, they were in the middle of a song. Troy made to get up.

"You don't know me," she said.

"Brie," he said.

"Not here," she answered.

He took in her appearance as she moved around the café. There was something different about her but he couldn't place that difference until he noticed the small bump on her abdomen. Pregnant, he knew because he knew every inch of her body.

His girlfriend was pregnant. Though she hopefully wouldn't be his girlfriend for much longer if she answered yes to his question.

"Brie," he called.

"Yes," she asked.

"Can I have a coffee?" he asked.

Gabriella nodded and headed to the coffee machine. But on the way back to Troy with the cup, another colleague walked into her. The coffee splashed up her body.

"Watch were your going?" she snapped.

The cup fell from Gabriella's hand and she cupped her stomach.

"Brie," called Troy.

"I'm fine," she chocked out in pain. "I'm going washing up."

"Back on air," whispered a voice.

Gabriella cleared up the coffee, made a new one and headed to wash up out of sight.

While there she was grilled by her boss about the coffee incident.

Then at ten when Troy's show finished, he appeared to talk to everyone and thank them.

Before getting down on one knee next to Gabriella.

"You'd better be tying your none existence shoelaces Bolton."

Everyone watched no one knew what was going on. Troy looked at Gabriella with a inquisitive look no words, her eyes filled with tears and she nodded.

The tears cascaded down her face. Troy stood up, slid the ring on her finger and soundlessly kissed her. One hand on her bump and one of her arms wrapped around his shoulders while the other clasped his free hand.

"What is going on," shouted a voice.

"They've been dating for four years, she's pregnant and now they're engaged," said a voice.

"And I quit," said Gabriella, pulling back from Troy.

"Thank god," said a voice.

"I was going to get fired today if I screwed up anyway," said Gabriella.

"Let's get out here," he whispered.

Gabriella nodded, grabbed her bag and turned to her boss.

"Can I have this weeks wages?" she asked.

"Plus any holidays pay she has left," said Troy.

The boss didn't argue any bad repercussions on her part, because if she didn't pay then she knew Troy would get the lawyers on her and it would cost more, so she quickly counted out and handed over Gabriella's wages and holiday pay and handed it over.

"I came in my car," said Gabriella, as she turned to Troy.

"So did I," answered Troy.

"See you at home?" she asked.

He nodded.

Within the hour Troy was home to celebrate with Gabriella.
