"Hit me." He told her and she rolled her eyes. They were standing on the roof of her building and now he was telling her to hit him. It was a little after midday so all of the surrounding buildings would be mostly empty if their inhabitants went to work. Even if they weren't, it was the Narrows. Nobody said anything about anything in the Narrows.

"Is this some sadomasochist bullshit?" She put her hands on her hips. She was wearing shorts and a black t-shirt with sneakers. Her hair was braided back but the wind blew a few strands in her face.

"Maybe," He tweaked an eyebrow at her, "Hit me." He said again, pointing to his face. He was wearing his Joker suit but his suspenders were hanging down by his legs and he wasn't wearing a jacket. Instead, he lost the tie and vest then rolled up his sleeves to his elbows. She had to admit that he was pretty hot at the moment, sans him instigating a fight. She knew he was technically trying to teach her something, especially since he was putting her in danger. However, he didn't know what she did when he was gone; she didn't need to be taught anything.

"How do you want it?" She asked cheekily.

"I'll take what I can get." He shrugged and in a second he took a hard blow to his face. It only took a second for a series of calculated hits to rain on him. There weren't many but they were enough to get him down. When he looked up, he saw the blinding sun first then Bree's face as she kneeled beside him. She was panting lightly.

"You've been holding out on me." He coughed, sitting up on his forearms. She sighed and looked away, tucking her hair behind her ear before she looking back at him.

"You know, when every man you know tries to save you, you start wondering why no one thinks you can save yourself. Or consider even for a moment that this damsel is in control of her distress." She stood. "I can take care of myself. You don't have to teach me how to bring a grown man to his knees. I can do that in more ways than one." She winked at him then went back towards the staircase.

He was going to have so much more fun with her now.

I've been thinking of making a full-length Bree x Joker story. I've been writing bits and pieces for years based on Christopher Nolan's Batman universe and I think it would be fun. What do you think? Would you read?
