AN: I own nothing.

Sorry this took so long. Again. Sometimes I wish I lived in the fantasy world in my head. Then, I could write to my little heart's content. But, I have to live in the real world. Ugh.

If any of you are on Facebook, look me up. Onyx Obsidian, and my profile pic is a black and green butterfly.

Enjoy!

Harry and Ron followed Hermione into the house. Again, they were surprised. Despite being married to Mione, they expected Severus' house to look like a cave, or be black and depressing. It wasn't, though. The living room was a beautiful room-beige walls, white plush carpet, beige furniture, and a bright colored object thrown in here and there. Pictures filled one wall, and a large fireplace was on another. There were spots where it was obvious Hermione had solely decorated, and Severus' influence was seen in others.

"Make yourselves at home, guys. I'm going to go change real quick." Hermione said. Throwing her purse onto one of the chairs, she walked out of the room.

"Blimey. Look at this, mate." Ron said, walking toward the wall of pictures. Harry followed him over to it, and was thrilled.

There were both magical and muggle photos. Hermione, posing with her mum, Lucius and Draco at the wedding. Ginny and Draco at their wedding. Several of the Weasley family. Hermione's dad. A lot of her and Severus. Hermione in the library at Hogwarts. Hermione, Ginny, Luna and a bunch of other people at graduation, smiling and laughing. Teddy. Andromeda. Remus and Tonks. An older photo of Sirius. There were even photos of several teachers from Hogwarts up. And, to their surprise, a few of the trio together.

"I didn't think there'd be pictures of us, Ron." Harry said.

"Yeah. And look. All the photos are arranged to spell the word 'FAMILY', Harry."

Harry stepped back to look, and Ron was right. The photos were all arranged on the wall to spell out FAMILY. That, added to seeing a photo of Sirius, Remus and Tonks on the wall had Harry going misty. Even after they left, Hermione still considered him and Ron part of her family.

"Look at that, Ron." Harry said, pointing to the large photo above all those.

"Wow." Ron said. Above all the other photos, there was Severus and Hermione's wedding photo.

Severus was wearing black robes over a white shirt and black pants, and wearing his customary black dragonhide boots. Around the edge of his robe was a pattern embroidered in Gryffindor red. His hair looked clean, and had been flipped out at the ends. All in all he looked pretty good. Plus, there was an actual toothy smile on his face.

"Snape looked happy. That's scary, Ron." Harry said, while Ron nodded.

Hermione, on the other hand, looked just like a princess. Her dress fell around her figure, showing off her curves. There was a pattern embroidered at the top. Her hair had been tamed and was pulled back into a bun at the top of her head. There was a beautiful diamond tiara on her head, as well. Like Severus, she had a big toothy smile.

"I know. Severus actually smiled in that photo." Hermione said behind them. Harry and Ron turned at hearing her voice. She had changed into a white spaghetti strapped sundress and was barefoot. "Would you boys like something to eat? I don't know if you've had anything to eat or not."

"I could eat." Ron said, making Harry and Hermione laugh.

"Some things never change. C'mon, boys. I need some food." Hermione said.

The kitchen was just as light and airy as the living room. It had a real 'country kitchen' style. There was even a door that had a top latch and a bottom latch. For Harry, it reminded him of a bed and breakfast they had stayed in in the States. Georgia, if he remembered right.

"I don't know what you boys want, but I've had success with my grilled cheese." Hermione said, looking at them.

"Sounds great, Hermione." Harry said.

As she got the ingredients together, Harry watched her. She may have grown and changed in these last seven years, but he could still see his favorite bookworm from Hogwarts there. She moved with such grace, even in everyday movements. Just walking from the living room to the kitchen was like she was gliding instead of walking. It was things like this that made him realize just how much he had missed her.

"So, how about you boys tell me some of what you've been up to while I cook? I know we've all been a bit hard on you since you came back, but I'd like know what you got into while you were..away." Hermione said as she got the first one going.

"What? Really?" Ron asked.

"Yes. I'd like to hear about some of your adventures. Where you went, what you did, interesting people. Come on, boys. I really wanna know." Hermione said with a smile.

"Alright." Harry said. "Well, we were in India for a bit. Met an old muggle woman. She was going to be having her 112th birthday."

"Really? 112? That's quite a milestone for a muggle." Hermione said.

"Yeah. But she was still sharp as a tack, though." Ron said. "Although, I thought she looked a bit too much like Auntie Muriel."

"Ron, she did not. That was just your imagination. She was a lovely woman." Harry said.

"That's not fair. Your Auntie Muriel is a nice lady, Ron." Hermione said.

"Are you barmy? She's awful! And since when do you think she's nice?" Ron asked.

"Since Molly invited me to join her ladies circle." Hermione said, putting a plate with 3 sandwiches in front of Harry.

"Huh? What ladies circle?" Ron asked.

"Molly, Minerva, Augusta Longbottom, your Auntie Muriel and a few other witches get together twice a month. Consider it like a men's poker night." Hermione said, starting another round of sandwiches. "If you know how to talk to Muriel, and act around her, you get on her good side."

"Must be interesting. She doesn't like many people." Ron said.

"Well, she likes me. And, I know for a fact she likes Severus. She's told me so." Hermione said, putting a plate in front of Ron, smirking.

As the boys ate, which they really enjoyed, they took turns telling Hermione some of their adventures. America, India, Mexico, Spain, Italy, and Canada were just some of the places they had gone. Running with the bulls, Ron's first hot air balloon ride, hockey games. The list went on and on. Of course, both the boys were somewhat deflated to learn that Hermione had also been to most of those places.

"What can I say? Being the wife of a Potion's Master, who is also a war hero, as is her husband? I often tag along with Severus to conventions and lectures. Going with him gives me a chance to meet people I usually wouldn't. Besides, the two of us together draws quite the crowd."

"But, why not use your fame for something for you, Hermione?" Ron asked.

"That's not me, Ron. I use my fame for better causes. Like the Sarah Hampton House, for example." Hermione said.

"The what?" Harry asked.

"The Sarah Hampton House is for orphans, and families down on their luck. They provide clothing, food, even help people find jobs. They do a lot of good. I spend quite a bit of time there each month." Hermione said.

She started to say something else when they heard from the living room "Wotcher, Mione! You home?"

Hermione looked to Harry and Ron, who had both gone quite pale. Before she could stop them, they both had bolted into the living room, with Hermione trying to stop them.

Entering the living room, she saw the boys gaping and ready to faint at the sight of Tonks and Remus standing there.
