YuPoV

I woke up hearing a beeping sound, then I remembered what happened. No, I couldn't be back there could I? I had to get out of here, warn Konoha. "Hurry, the patient is having a panic attack!" Someone yelled. Then a stab and I fell back asleep.

After sometime I woke up again now staying calm but I was cuffed to the bed. Where am I? how did I get here? a person walked in, it was Sakura, then I'm in Konoha? "Yuri, it's okay, you're back home. You are safe now. You are mostly healed but we don't know to what extend your brain has been damaged. It might be that you will never be a ninja again."

"What happened? last I remember I was in a cave in the Land of Iron." I told her.

"Gaara-sama found you and they brought me and the others to you to get you healed and safely home. You have been out of it for two weeks, Do you remember how you got injured?"

"Punishment." I answered

"For what? from who?" She asked me.

"From Master Uchiha, I broke his rules."I told her honestly.

"From Sasuke?"

"No, the one that calls himself Madara."

"There is someone who wants to see you, would you like to see him?"

"Yes, please." Sakura left and through the door walked Shino. "S-Shino..." was all I could say before I was bear-hugged.

"You scared me, I thought that you would never wake up, until you had that panic attack. They had to cuff you to the bed because you could've hurt yourself. Never again, you hear me? From now on, you will not leave Konoha without me." He said sternly. I had never seen him this emotional. I was saddened that I had caused this. Sakura had left us alone.

"I promise." I answered while sobbing lightly in his shoulder. I felt him relax a little.

"How did you get so badly hurt?"

"Because of the cursed bond between me and Uchiha, I had disobeyed him and therefore I was punished. We are at war with Akatsuki. All the great nations have signed an alliance."

"Then I have some good news, we started the preparations for this already. Tsunade woke up."

"I don't know if I can fight at your side. Sakura said I might never be a ninja anymore."

"We'll see, I'm sure you will be fine, you are a strong person, Yuri." He told me.

"You know, the last I thought about before I passed out, was how I would be breaking my promise that I would return to you. I'm glad I got to see you again." I told him.

"You mean that you can see again? How?"

"He gave me new eyes."

"I'm happy for you, I'm happy to see the light in your eyes again." he said staring into my eyes. I wrapped my arms around his neck to pull him closer. With a peck on his cheek I hugged him while ignoring the pain.

"I missed you." was all I could say before drifting back to sleep.

Dream

Darkness... Then I see a hallway, with doors labelled as memories or math skills. I wander through the hall and opened each door just to see what was inside. The one of my memories was a cinema, The one with my vocabulary and such a library and so on. Then I came to the one called Kunoichi world. I tried to open it but I couldn't. A seal appeared but I couldn't take it off. It was carved in the door. I put my hands on the door. "Kai!" Nothing happened. I tried all I could to open the door but no success what so ever.

Then someone woke me up.

End dream

"The patient is waking up." I opened my eyes first seeing a blinding light then heads moving above me. "Get Hyuuga and Yamanaka." A voice said. Soon I saw familiar faces. Ino and Hinata.

"Her chakra has drained to that of a civilian level. I can see that she tries to use it as a ninja but it doesn't work."

"Her mind knows that something is wrong. It's trying to make her use any jutsu she knows to fix it but it's to no avail. Her mind doesn't make a connection with her body making it unable to do jutsu. Yuri is unable to use her chakra until her body and her mind recreates the connection."

"Her chakra level will also not be able to rise to what it was before this until the connection is made."

"Can we fix this?"

"Ask Tsunade. If she can't the only one possible to fix Yuri might be Kabuto."

"What about Sakura? She might be able to do something, she has been doing really well lately." A doctor said.

"let me see if I can do something." Sakura said. She walked behind me.

"Yuri, I'm going to try to fix your brain damage with healing chakra. You need to sit still or I might accidentally kill you." She said nodding to some people. They strapped me down.

"Here we go." She warned me. At first I didn't feel anything but then I felt something warm and soothing. I closed my eyes to enjoy the feeling some more. After a while the feeling left me. It turned into coldness and pain. Excruciating pain, I tried to move away from it but I couldn't move. Someone put hands on my face keeping me still

"Yuri, look at me." a voice said. I opened my eyes that were filled with tears. I saw Shino, he was the one holding me still. He looked at me. "It's okay, Yuri, Sakura is almost done. You just have to sit still for a bit more."

"I don't want the pain to return, what if it's a genjutsu and me being in Konoha isn't real? I might still be punished by Madara." I whispered.

"This is not a genjutsu. This is real, I'm real. You can do this." Shino said. His faith in me helped me to resist moving away. The pain didn't get worse but it didn't go away either. Soon Sakura stopped.

"I have healed your brain only a little. Tsunade-shishou might be able to do more. I'm not that experienced in this particular kind of healing yet. Yuri, you can go home and rest for a bit now though you will have to be woken up once every two hours. This is just to make sure my treatment hasn't done more damage."

"Okay." I answered quietly

"You can stay with me." Shino said his tone making no room for argument. I nodded as I knew he was only thinking of my safety. Had I been in my own house, I would've needed someone to come over all the time or I could've had trouble waking up on my own if I chose not to have someone to help me.

We left the hospital walking to Shino's place. He showed me how far the village was with rebuilding and preparing for the war. Yamato appeared telling me I was to see Tsunade-sama immediately. Shino left to make sure his house was in order to have a guest over, while Yamato took me to the Hokage.

"Hokage-sama, I brought Azura Yuri as you ordered."

"Good you are dismissed, Yamato." I never thought I would be so happy to hear her voice again.

"Yuri, take a seat, you and I are going to have a long talk."

"Yes, Hokage-sama. Do you wish for a report on the Five kage summit?" I asked Tsunade.

"Yes, I heard that you had sent a message here telling the rookie eleven to start preparations for war. Is it true that the Fourth great ninja war is beginning?"

"Yes, it is. All the great nations and their allies have allied with each other to fight our common enemy. The Akatsuki. The kage have decided that we will hide Bee-sama and Naruto in a special place, while we fight, since it is them Madara is after."

"What about you? You are a jinchuuriki as well right?"

"Yes, but Madara already kind of has me. I am his slave only able to break free if he says so or if he dies. because of my betraying him at the summit, he tightened the leash he has on me. If he calls me now I cannot fight it at all."

"Tell me, from the start what happened at the summit. even better, begin from the moment you found out about the war." She ordered. I did as told leaving the personal things out. I think she figured them out though because she had this knowing smile.

"Congrats on loosening the Aburame heir and thank you for the intel. It will be most useful as I know how the thing with the undead shinobi is possible." Tsunade said. I felt heat rush to my cheeks at the first part then realization struck me from the second.

"Orochimaru."

"Yes, though since he is dead, I think it will be Kabuto. Now let me see your head. I will see if I can heal your brain."

"Thank you." She came standing behind me. I felt a warm soothing something in my head again. This time it didn't turn in pain. When Tsunade stopped, I felt somewhat better.

"I have healed some of it but if I kept going, your brain would've stopped healing itself like it should. come back once a day for a week and I'll heal you each time a little."

"thank you."

"You're welcome. Just don't do anything that takes a lot of thinking and for the rest of your injuries you just need to rest. Nothing too active for you for a week." She said with a wink.

"I'm glad you're back Baa-sama, with your recovery, I'll be able to trust Konoha." I smiled dodging the sake bottle she threw before leaving. I made my way on Tora's back to Shino's home. I had picked a few things up on the way from my own house, like clothes and toiletries. When I arrived, Shino helped me to put my things away and then he gave me a tour of his house. It was a small house in the family compound. It had two floors, the first being the living room, kitchen and a small bathroom. Upstairs were two bedrooms and a regular bathroom, and a small office.

"It looks nice." I told him when we ended back up in the living room.

"Thank you. Would you mind going out for lunch? I need to go grocery-shopping and that might take a while." Shino said.

"Sure, I don't mind." I shrugged and we went out to a small restaurant that didn't seem too crowded. However what I didn't expect was that there was a waitress who was having a crush on Shino. She was a bit rude treating me like I was a gold-digger who just wanted to be with the Aburame clan heir for status and money. She flirted shamelessly with Shino who tried, too politely, to tell her off.

"Aburame-san, why don't you dump this piece of trash, and go with a real woman like me? I'm sure I can show you a good time." She smiled what she thought looked sexy, but it seemed too fake. even a blind person could see that she was faking it.

"Haruna-san, I have a girlfriend."

"Her? she just wants status. I'm sure that she is really a whore."

"Miss Haruna, have you heard of the Azura clan heiress?" I intervened.

"Yes, but they say that she is a nomad." She said.

"If that is true, and she is the last of her clan, why would she need the status and money marrying into another one?"

"You claim that you are her? prove it."

"With pleasure. If I can prove that I am who I claim to be, then you will leave my mate alone." Shit I never used that term in front of him before.

"mate? what are you, an animal or something?"

"No, but I can show you a few animals. What do you know of the last Azura?"

"That she has a Tiger. just like the founder of the clan, and that she is a jinchuuriki."

I showed her Tora and then Shino and I took her somewhere to talk. "How do you know I'm a jinchuuriki? that is information that isn't usually shared with many people unless necessary."

"I haven't always been a civilian, my full name is Azura Haruna. I am your older cousin."

"How? I was sure mom was an only child."

"She wasn't. Neith had a younger brother who was killed when the Kyuubi attacked. My mother fled to Takigakure, where she changed our names. I came here when she died two years ago, during the Akatsuki attack on Fu-san."

"Do you have a First animal?"

"Yes but I can't call him that well. I chose a civilian life."

"What Animal is it?"

"It's a dog." She tried calling and when it came, it bowed down to Tora and me.

"You truly are her! please, can you teach me about our clan? I have wanted to learn about it but I didn't really have the courage to ask. I apologize for insulting you." She rushed to say.

"Calm down, I accept your apology, and I would love to teach you all you want to know. You have no idea how happy I am to have met you." I told her. We promised to meet sometime later when I could have some time off from preparations for the war. I might not be able to use jutsu, but I could help prepare for the war with my knowledge of it and with the usual stuff.
