"You do realize doing this favor for you will cost you, right?" the smug business owner asked, kicking his feet up on the table between him in the villain.

"I'll pay you in cash. If you expect anything else I'll just burn your business to the ground," the green skinned woman replied, a smug look on her own face.

His smile dropped. "Come on Shego, I know you always loved l play hard to get, but this is a little much, don't you think?"

She snorted and shook her head, "Daniel, when are you going to get that this isn't hard to get, this is you never getting me. After all the shit you put me through, there's no way I'd come back to you."

He frowned, "I can make it up to you. I know I was an ass, and I know I've been going about this in a wrong way, but really, I can make it up to you."

She looked at him with pity, "You really don't seem to get the concept of 'we're over.'"

Sighing he asked, "So you want me to do this favor for you and all I'm getting in return in money – no second chance or anything."

"Do you seriously think you deserve one? I know that you aren't that stupid. The you I used to like has to be in there somewhere, at least a little bit of him."

"I don't deserve a second chance. Even I know that. I put up a pompous front to try to seem calm and collected. But I've never stopped thinking about you and it drives me crazy. I think about how I wish I could take back what I did, could stop myself from being such an ass, but I know I can't, and I really wish I could."

"You sure as hell didn't act like it these past few years, and you especially didn't act like it when you were being a bitch to Kimmy," she growled.

He groaned, "What? You expect me to be especially kind to your enemy and my rival?"

She rolled her eyes, "Of course not, but I didn't expect you to treat her like a brat. You usually respected women as long as they weren't me. Even after you became a jerk you still wanted to be suave and cool so you would never break your image. You even acted gentlemanly to women of all ages, whether you'd ever date them or not."

"Seeing you with her ticked me off."

"Yeah, well seeing you in bed with two other women ticked me off."

A long silence hung in the air before Daniel finally sighed and slumped back in his chair.

Kim arrived outside of the club and managed to slip in after paying two girls to distract him for a minute. She made it to the steps and knocked the bodyguard out silently.

Creeping up the stairs she couldn't hear a thing for a while, then suddenly Daniel spoke.

"Right then… I'll set it up for tomorrow night, you'll give me what you promised, and I'll do what you said. Don't be late."

"I'll be there, believe me."

"And you're sure she'll come."

"I'll find a way."

She heard shuffling of feet and then Shego said, "Good doing business with you."

When the steps came closer, she quickly dashed off and out of the club.

Shego shook Daniel's hand and went for the steps. She heard a soft flurry of feet and saw a tuft of red hair rounding the corner.

"Looks like I won't have to convince her to go tomorrow."

"Good to know the effort I have to put into this won't be in vain then."

She rolled her eyes, "Even if she didn't go I'd still pay you." With that the green skinned woman left the club and started on her way home. If Kim knew where she was, there was a good chance Monique knew where she was, if Monique knew, then Jean knew. She was going to be grilled when she arrived at the beach house. If Kim didn't question her, Jean sure as hell would – and that's what she was counting on.

When she made it back to the house, her theory was proved right. Jean immediately pulled her into her and Monique's room and closed the door, hissing, "What the hell were you doing at Daniel's club?!"

Shego grinned, "Striking up a business deal."

"Business… deal?"

"He's doing me a favor and I'm paying him in return."

"Paying him… as in with your body?"

Shego rolled her eyes, "With cash. I'm not going to do anything sexual or romantic with that asshole."

"Oh," Jean replied, startled. "What… what deal?"

Shego smirked, "One that I'm going to need your help with."

Everyone else in the house had their ears pressed to the door, but Shego and Jean had moved to the far side of the room and were whispering. None of them could hear what was going on and they were worried.

Mo was more doing this just for show, knowing her partner in crime would spill the details to her later – but for the moment, she had to pretend she was as oblivious as the others.

They didn't even hear Shego walking to the door and before they knew it, they'd all fallen as the door pulled open. The villain didn't even give them a second look, stepping over them and heading to her room to shower.

Jean and Mo exchanged a look. They'd be talking about this later.

While Shego was taking her shower, Kim sat on her bed with a frown. What could Shego possibly have been talking about with Daniel? What sort of business was this? She was annoyed. She tried so hard to keep Daniel back and there Shego was, crawling back to him. Whatever was happening tomorrow she'd be there for. She was not going to let Shego make another mistake with this Daniel guy. He wasn't worth the trouble.
