It has been two days since Lovino met his brother, Feliciano. He has been hiding in Antonio's guest room for the two whole days. Lovino thought about the day when he and Antonio went to the market. Lovino, now, knew why he had to follow Feliciano. Subconsciously, Lovino knew that Feliciano was his brother. None of Lovino's questions have been answered, yet. The only things that Lovino got from Feliciano, was his name, he had a little brother, and he was Italian. It was a lot for him to take in. He had all the answered in front of him now. All he had to do was ask Feliciano. His mind is totally blown.
Lovino thought about the dream he had a few nights ago. Feliciano was the one who was taken, but why? Why his brother and not him? What happened to Feliciano when he was taken? What kind of life did he live? What happened to Lovino, himself? How and why did Lovino lost his memories? How recent was the fire? Why did Antonio take him in?
It was time to question Antonio. Why didn't Lovinio think of questioning Antonio before? Lovino's stomach rumbled. First, get Antonio to make him something to eat. Second, after eating, question Antonio. Lovino liked the plan. He went downstairs to find Antonio. Laughter came from the living room.
Lovino poked his head around the corner. Antonio had some guests. Once of them was Feliciano, happily smiling like an idiot. Great. I have an idiot for a brother. Lovino thought ho himself.
Four of the men laugh and one just sat in silence. The man sitting in silence, had sharp features that made him very scary looking, his blond hair was slicked back away from his face. The look on his face showed that he would like to be somewhere else that wasn't here. Lovino's eyes widened at the sight of him, the scary guy from the market. One man was super pale with white hair. He was ridiculously loud with a thick German accent. He had a little yellow chick on top if his head. The last guest also had blond hair that fell to his shoulders. He had little stubble on his chin. The man with the stubble chin placed a hand on top of Feliciano's head.
"DON'T TOUCH HIM!"
Everyone stopped and looked at Lovino in the doorway of the living room. Did Lovino really just say what he thought he just said? His face flustered in red from anger and frustration. Lovino marched over and took Feliciano's arm and dragged him out the living room to the guest room.
"So that's the little Italian that you speak so fondly of." Françis looked at Antonio. "He does look a lot like little Feli."
"Shut up, Françis." Antonio hit his perverted friend.
Gilbert chuckled. "I get why you wanted to talk to him, Ludwig."
Ludwig just sat in silence.
Lovino closed the door. He was alone with his brother. It was only the third time Lovino had seen his brother and only the second time being alone with him. They looked at each other. Feliciano smiled at him.
"Ve~"
Lovino looked at him. What the hell does "ve" mean? Lovino couldn't believe that he had an idiot for a brother. "Sit." Lovino motioned to the bed.
Feliciano sat down and Lovino sat next to him. All the answers right here next to him. "Are you alright?"
"I'm fine." Feliciano hugged Lovino's arm, leaning into him. Feliciano's face was in Lovino's. "What about you?"
"I would be better if you weren't so close to me." Lovino pushed Feliciano away.
"Aw, Lovi." His brother pouted.
"What did you call me?"
"Lovi." Feliciano smiled. "That's your nickname. You hate when other people call you that. But you like when I call you that."
Lovino listened carefully when Feliciano spoke. Feliciano spoke fast and if you didn't pay attention, you were going to miss something he said. "Oh." That was all Lovino could come up with. Lovino wanted answers. "I'll tell you everything I know and you'll fill in the blanks."
Feliciano nodded.
Lovino told his brother about the fire.
Feliciano's smile quickly disappeared. Feliciano spoke once Lovino was done. "Lovi,' Feliciano spoke in a quiet voice, "that was ten years ago. We were kids when that happened. You don't remember anything after that?"
"What?" Lovino was flabbergasted. In his mind it was like just a few weeks ago. Ten years ago. Lovino sat in silence on the bed with his mouth hanging open.
"Fratello?" Feliciano peered at Lovino.
"I-I need to be alone."
"Okay. I'll be downstairs." Feliciano wrapped his brother in a tight hug before he left the room.
Lovnio crawled under the blankets and cried.
