Hey, sorry for the silence. Life is getting in the way again. Welp, on suggestion by a reviewer I opted to change the Exam duel. Instead of Jaden dueling Chazz, Jason will have the honor. But i adjusted the suggestion a little. Hopefully they won't be too upset.

The rising sun shining on Duel Academy Island was the only thing that was peaceful right at the moment. Several students were up, cramming in last minute studies.
Yep. First-term tests were here.
In Yellow, Bastion was checking over his various formulas, checking them and checking his decks for the practical. He wanted to be ready if he faced either Jaden or Jason.
In Blue, Chazz was furiously pacing back and forth in his room. He was in a rage over that Jaden (or was it Jason?) had gotten with Alexis while he was the better man, not knowing of the two's history or that they were just friends for the moment. He wanted to trash the one who had gotten her heart. He suddenly grinned; what better way then to do it in the practicals, provided Crowler approved.
In forests, deep in the Abandoned Dorm, Jason calmly rose from his bed, got dressed and headed out, his thoughts clear and concise with what he wanted; victory.
In Red…well, let's just see shall we?

"Please Slifer, Help me pass today's first term test, please! I don't want to be a Red forever! Not that's it bad or anything..." Syrus begged as he had a hat on with three monster reborn cards on it.
He kept on praying as Chumley watched amused. Jaden, on the other hand, was lost in his own thoughts.
"Why…what is my brother up to? Why did he get me and…Lex sort of back together?" The young teen mumbled to himself.
During his inner ramblings, Syrus stopped in his ranting/praying to look at his surrogate brother.
"Jay?" The smaller bluenette asked.
"Sy, what are you doing?! Waking up Jaden! If we're lucky, he'll flunk the test!" Chumley said worriedly. "After all, I don't want to be the guy who beat Dr. Crowler."
Jaden poked his head out from the bed, looked at Chumley and gave a glare.
"I'm awake you know…so I heard all of that Chums." The young man said, making Chumley blush a little. "As for your unasked question Syrus…just trying to figure my brother out…"
That statement made the two look at one another and then back at the young man as he got up from his bed to get his disk and deck around. Jaden continued to speak as he got dressed.
"My brother goes to great lengths to get me and Alexis sort of back together. Yet he doesn't get anything in return. So what's he playing at?" Jaden said as he slid his deck box onto his belt. "I don't know…maybe I'm reading too far into this or something."
Syrus sat back as he crossed his arms and closed his eyes.
"Maybe he's trying to fix something. But what? Granted I don't know your brother too well, given that he's dark, scary as hell, anti-social and did I mention scary?" Syrus surmised in thought.
"Twice now." Chumley inputted.
Jaden nodded as he stepped out of his closet, clothed and ready to face the day. He looked at the two and grinned.
"Come on, we'll head up to the school and on the way do some last minute studying."
The duo nodded before they followed after Jaden.

The trio walked up the path to the school, quizzing each other on the various uses of spells, traps and monster effects in a duel. Syrus stumbled on the questions but he managed to get them right…most of the time. Chumley, having two years under his belt, answered the questions perfectly. Then it was time to discuss the practical.
"So, you use Roid monster Syrus?" Jaden asked the young teen.
The shy boy nodded while grinning before he remembered something from his childhood. He got depressed and stopped talking for a few. Jaden sensed something was wrong but knew better then to pry. Instead he turned to Chumley.
"So how's that Australian themed deck working out for you, Chums? I heard a rumor going around that you beat a third year Blue with it?"
Chumley blushed before grinning.
"Yeah, Anthony Green. He's a fourth year like me, not a third. I only managed to beat him thanks to Master of Oz. Thanks again Jaden."
Jaden grinned and patted Chumley on the back.
"Then I guess you'll do fine in the practical. Knowing Crowler, he pit you against a Blue, but you beat one so good luck." Jaden said with a grin.
The trio were stopped by the roar of an engine and tires squealing. They looked ahead and saw a black van trying to get up a deep slope. They hurried forward to see if there was any help needed. They watched as the van stopped and a well-rounded woman in her late 40s came out and huffed.
"The boys in the auto club told me that the van could take it! I'm going to have to give them a piece of my mind after I get all the packs in. If I get them all in." The woman said glumly.
Jaden, Syrus and Chumley all looked at one another before they all nodded. They went up to the woman and greeted her.
"Hey there! I'm Jaden, this is Syrus and this big guy here is Chumley. We noticed your in a bit of a pinch...mind if we help?" Jaden asked with a polite smile on his face.
The woman turned around to the trio and looked them over before giving a grin in return.
"Sure! I'm Dorothy, I run the card shop if you don't know. I've never seen you around though...new students?" Dorothy asked, pointing at Jaden.
Jaden shook his head as he started to push the back of the van with Syrus and Chumley helping.
"Not really. I've been on campus for three months now and I just never saw a reason to go to the card shop. Did you know about it Chumley?" Jaden asked the pushing boy.
"Yeah, its where I got my koala cards. I didn't say anything mostly cuz it never came up." Chumley said as he panted from pushing.
Jaden gave an 'oh' of understanding and looked at Dorothy. He told her to get back in and gun the engine. The woman nodded as she got back in the drivers seat pushing the gas. With the three pushing in the back, they managed to get the van up the road and into a special docking area for the card shop. Dorothy climbed out and gave a cheer.
"Thanks! Anything I can do for you?" Dorothy beamed.
Jaden rubbed the back of his head with a sheepish grin.
"Think you can give us a written pass? We're kinda late for our first term exams." Jaden explained.
Dorothy's eyes went wide before she hurried in, got a pad and pen before returning to the three. She hastily wrote out three passes and gave them to the boys. She handed them to each one, apologizing for the delay. Jaden just waved it off.
"S'okay. We were glad to help not only you but the rest of the students. I think there would be a big panic if packs weren't there for the practical." Jaden said. "Welp, we gotta go! See you later, Dorothy!"
The trio took off for Banner's classroom as Dorothy waved good-bye.
"Nice kids...better save a pack or two for them."

Jaden, Syrus, and Chumley made it to class to see everyone there working. They hurried down to Banner and immediately handed over the passes. The headmaster of Red took them, looked them over, and nodded. He quietly gave them their papers and mentioned for them to sit. The trio nodded before heading for seating away from each other. They sat down, took out their pencils, and set to work. Hiding up in the door of the class was Crowler. He was grinning like a loon as he watched the Yuki twins.
"Just you wait Jaden and Jason...you might get through the written part with dreams, but the practical will be your worst nightmares!" Crowler chortled as he left the door, a plan forming in his head.

While Crowler was busy planning, far out in the ocean, a naval fleet was coming. Several men and women rushed around, commanding officers barked orders while the captain watched the encroaching island. Nearby sat a man in a suit, dark glasses and shoes with a suitcase handcuffed to his arm. Next to him was another holding two different colored suitcases handcuffed to each other and to his right arm. The captain chuckled before he turned on the PA system.
"Alright people...let's get these rare cards to Duel Academy Island!" He roared making everyone tense.
They needed to be ready for the flood.

An hour passed, students turned in their test early like Jason, Jaden, Alexis, Chazz, Bastion, and surprisingly Syrus and Chumley. The other students continued working until five minutes to noon. Banner cleared his throat as the clock struck noon.
"Alright, if everyone is finished, turn in your papers and quietly line up for the pack of rare cards." Banner said making many students look up with surprise on many of their faces.
"THEY'RE HERE?!" One of the students shouted.
What came next was Pandemonium. Students of various dorms rush out the doors and down the halls roaring. The classroom was emptied in seconds making Jaden shake his head.
"Jeez...all this for rare cards...its not the cards that make a deck..." Jaden began when another voice finished.
"It's the duelist that utilizes them the best." Alexis said, walking up the trio.
Jaden grinned and nodded before another voice cut in.
"As if a few cards will be enough to stop me or Prime." came the voice of Jaden's twin, Jason.
"Twice the pride double the fall, brother." Jaden said coolly making Jason's mouth twitch lightly into a smirk before it returned to normal.
"It is not arrogance that I spout...just plain fact." Jason said back just as cool.
Jaden couldn't help but agree. Both he and his brother were so in tune with their deck that no matter what the odds, the decks came through for them. Another voice with a British accent spoke up.
"I see you're not getting the rare cards then, Jaden? Jason?" Bastion asked as he walked up.
Jason scoffed.
"No. The Cons and I have worked together so long we have no need for new cards. If you'll excuse me, I have to go to the arena. I expect Crowler to pull something to try and embarrass my brother and I at the exams." Jason said as he left the class.
Bastion looked after the monster in boy form and nodded.
"Indeed. Crowler seems dead-set against getting back at you and your brother, Jaden. I expect him to try something...like maybe stacking the deck of a Blue or Ra against the both of you." Bastion said.
Jaden nodded grimly. He really didn't want Crowler to hold the grudge as he was a excellent instructor but this was getting out of hand and fast. He'd have to talk with Sheppard about this before someone got hurt, namely a student or Crowler if Jason was pushed too far. Jaden stood up and stretched before looking at Syrus and Chumley.
"Better get to the card shack guys to get some packs...It's most likely going to be a madhouse." Jaden stated.
The two's eyes went wide and hurried off as Bastion, Alexis, and Jaden headed for the arenas.

In another part of the school, another trio were on their way to the exams themselves with two of them begging.
"We're very sorry Chazz. We tried to get the rare cards, but someone else got to them first!" The boy with glasses explained.
"Yeah...ain't our fault..." The boy with spiky hair said.
Chazz rounded on the two with an angry glare.
"I don't care! You both were given a simple task and that was to get me those rare cards so I can mop the floor with Jaden! Or was it Jason? Jason! Yeah, it was Jason whose dating Alexis." Chazz said getting the twins mixed up in terms of names.
The clearing of a throat alerted the three to another presence. They all turned to see a person in a large green trench coat, black puffy hat, and glasses. Both Glasses and Spiky recognized the person and gasped.
"That's him, Chazz! The sticky fingers who grabbed all the cards!" The two proclaimed.
Chazz looked at the person and glared.
"You got some nerve stealing from the Chazz. Identify yourself!" Chazz demanded of the person.
The person grabbed the hem of his hat and threw into the air.
"IT IS I!" The person shouted revealing a white face, purple lipstick, and blonde hair in a ponytail.
Chazz sighed as he saw his headmaster reveal himself.
"You should have kept the disguise on..." Chazz deadpanned with his two cronies agreeing.
The comment and agreement made Crowler face-vault. He got back up and glared at Chazz.
"Perhaps I can change your mind," Crowler began before he flew open his coat. "WITH THESE!"
Glasses and Spiky screamed in terror while Chazz clapped his hands over his eyes. He was not going to be blinded or scarred for life by what was under that coat! Soon the Glasses and Spiky's screams died off and they peeked. The two gasped in astonishment and forced Chazz's arms to his sides. The boy glared at the two before seeing what it was and blushing.
"Oh...its the rare cards." Chazz said lamely. "Sorry Crowler...thought you were doing something else with that act."
Crowler winced a little; he should've thought that one through just a bit more. He simply looked at Chazz and handed him the coat.
"Choose the cards you need to use...I'm pitting you against Jason." Crowler explained with a grin which turned into a frown as he thought. "or was it Jaden...Jason! Definitely Jason."
Chazz nodded and grinned wickedly. With these cards, Jason won't stand a chance!

The duel portion of the exams were now underway, every student cheered for every duel that was happening. Chumley was against Anthony Green again and winning with a score of 5500 LP (Chumely) to 3500 LP (Green). Bastion finished up his duel with a 700 LP remaining as he dueled one of the top duelist of Slifer. He had to admit the duel was exciting as it pushed him beyond the realms of his normal thought process. Syrus was holding his own but behind. Alexis had just finished dueling her fangirl #2, Mindy with 1000 LP remaining.
Jaden finished up a duel with a Ra with 7500 of his LP still intact. That alone made the students look at him in awe and cheered loudly for him. Jaden gave a small wave as he headed back up to where Bastion and Alexis were waiting. Bastion didn't say anything but gave him a nod to which Jaden returned. Alexis gave him a small smile and he did the same.
"You still got it, Jay. But..." Alexis said, before looking concerned. "Where's Jason? I haven't seen him in the crowd at all."
Jaden instantly went on edge. His brother missing was always a sign of trouble brewing. Jaden's blood turned cold as he heard a cold voice over the crowds.
"You thought I was Jaden and my brother was me?"

Chazz couldn't believe it! He and Crowler had gotten it wrong! I mean, yeah, they were twins, but there were a lot of differences that many saw before them. But when life gave you lemons, you crushed them into nothingness. So he was simply going to take this and roll with the punch. A win was a win no matter who it was.
"Yeah, so what if I did? I still want to get you back for throwing me from the stairs!" Chazz roared making Jason smirk.
"Then shut up and let's duel!" Jason roared back as his mechanical arm transformed into his duel disk and activated.
Chazz activated his own disk and the two drew their opening hand.
Chazz: 8000/Jason: 8000
"I'll start things off!" Chazz said as he drew a card.
The blue looked at it before grinning.
"I play Magical Mallet!"
(Magical Mallet – Type/Spell/Normal. Shuffle any number of cards from your hand into the Deck, then draw that same number of cards.)
Jason just watched uninterested as Chazz shuffled in some of his hand and drew the same number of cards. The rich boy smirked before he took another card and play it.
"Great news is I can do the same thing with my Mallet so I get to shuffle and draw again." Chazz said as he shuffled and drew again. "All to summon this! V-Tiger Jet!"
In a flash of light a jet in the form of a tiger roared onto the field and landed next to Chazz.
(V-Tiger Jet – LV/****, Attribute/LIGHT, ATK/1600, DEF/1800, Type/Machine. This ace fighter is unbeatable in a dogfight. It combines with other monsters to launch an array of encircling attacks.)
Chazz grabbed another card and slid into another S/T zone.
"Combined with the power of the spell card, Frontline Base and you're in a heap of trouble!"
(Frontline Base – Type/Spell/Continuous. Once per turn: You can Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower Union monster from your hand.)
"Thanks to this spell, I can bring out V's partner, the W-Wing Catapult!"
(W-Wing Catapult – LV/****, Attribute/LIGHT, ATK/1300, DEF/1500, Type/Machine/Union. Once per turn, you can equip this card to a "V-Tiger Jet" you control, OR unequip it to Special Summon this card in face-up Attack Position. When equipped to a monster by this card's effect, the equipped monster gains 400 ATK and DEF. (A monster can only be equipped with 1 Union Monster at a time. If the equipped monster would be destroyed by battle, destroy this card instead.)
A jet descended next to the Tiger fighter. Chazz smirked as he placed the monster into his spell/trap zone.
"I equip W-wing to V-Tiger and set one card facedown. Time to see what you can do."
Jason didn't reply; he simply drew and looked over his hand. He chose a card and placed it in his Monster zone.
"I play my Vehicon Drone in attack mode and follow it up with a card facedown. Back to you."
Chazz sneered as he drew. He looked at it and smirked.
"I summon the X-head Cannon in attack mode and then attack with my souped up V-tiger! Air assault!"
the monster roared as it fired a series of lasers and missiles at the drone. The monster exploded into pixel dust as Jason's LP dropped.
Chazz: 8000/Jason: 7800.
"You triggered a trap, Ground Reinforcements!" Jason shouted as the trap revealed itself. The card art showed six different transformers running guns blasting.
(Ground Reinforcements-Type/Trap/Normal. Activate this card if a monster is destroyed. Special summon 1 monster from your hand.)
"This trap works like A Hero Emerges, only without the chance. I bring out Scavenger to the field."
(Scavenger – Attribute/DARK, LV/*****, ATK/2100, DEF/1500, Type/Machine/Effect. If this card is destroyed as a result of battle, Special Summon "Mixmaster", "Hook", "Long-Haul", "Scrapper", or "Bonecrusher" from your Hand, Deck, or Graveyard."
A green Power shovel rumbled into play before transforming. He looked at the blue and his set of monsters.
"What the frag are those? Rejects from our universe?" Scavenger asked Jason who in turned shrugged.

Alexis's and Jaden's sharp intake of breath alerted Syrus and Bastion. Both turned to the two.
"Jason's seriously going to play that?" Alexis asked worried.
"Yeah...Chazz is in for a nasty shock."
Both Syrus and Bastion knew better then to ask. They would find out soon enough.

Chazz scoffed.
"That's it? Well, I'll just use Frontline's effect to bring out Z-Metal Tank. Follow that up with call of the haunted to bring out Y-Dragon Head!"
Everyone gasped at the proclamation of Chazz owning the three that made Seto Kaiba famous. Chazz grinned as he combined the three and then looked at Jason.
"They say two heads are better then one. But I disagree. One is all that's needed to take you down, Jason. I combine my VW and XYZ to make...the VWXYZ Dragon Catapult Cannon!"
The two monsters did combine to form a massive machine making Scavenger pissed.
"HEY! THAT'S OUR GIMMICK ALONG WITH THE COMBATICONS AND AUTOBOTS! I'M GOING TO FIND PEGASUS, SHOVE MY ARM DOWN HIS THROAT AND RIP OUT HIS LUNGS! And I will too!" Scavenger roared before speaking softly to Jason who nodded.
Chazz grinned as he pointed at Scavenger.
"Thanks to my Cannon, I can remove pests like that one from play! Say bye-bye!"
The Decepticon gave Chazz the bird as he was warped away making Chazz dumbfounded and Jason grinning. Chazz ended his turn making Jason draw.
He glanced at the card before setting it into a s/t zone.
"I end."
"Music to my ears." Chazz crowed as he drew. "VW! ATTACK!"
The massive machine readied its cannons to fire when Jason's facedown revealed itself.
"Go, Astral Rebirth!"
(Astral Rebirth-Type/Trap/Continuous. Choose 1 removed from play card and Special summon it to the field in attack mode. If this card is destroyed, any effects that remove cards from play cannot be activated until the end of the turn.)
"This trap brings back the monster you just removed from play in attack mode." Jason explained as Scavenger reappeared.
Chazz gritted his teeth but continued with the attack. The blast tore through the machine reducing him to metal slag before the trap shattered. Jasdon simply smirked.

"Thank you. Now that Scavenger is gone, I can summon one of five monsters...I choose Hook."
(Hook - Attribute/DARK, LV/*****, ATK/2000, DEF/1000, Type/Machine/Effect. If "Long-Haul" is in play, Special Summon "Bonecrusher" or "Mixmaster" from your hand or deck.)
A green crane rumbled onto the field before transforming. Chazz grinned.
"Too bad you got that only to lose it! VW! Send that monster to the RPZ!"
The machine complied sending out a beam of yellow energy. But a barrier showed up and stopped it in its tracks. Jason quickly explained.
"Astral rebirth prevents effects that remove cards from play to be used until the end of the turn. You done?"
Chazz gritted his teeth but nodded. Jason grinned.
"Excellent." Jason said as he drew. He looked at the card before adding it and grabbed another. "I play my ground bridge spell and summon out Mixmaster!"
(Mixmaster - Attribute/DARK, LV/*****, ATK/1900, DEF/1700, Type/Machine/Effect. If "Hook" or "Scrapper" is in play, Special Summon "Bonecrusher" or "Long-Haul" from your hand or deck.)
A green cement mixer rolled in and transformed into its robot form. Jason grinned as a card slid out of his deck.
"Due to Mixmaster's effect, I summon Bonecrusher to the field.
(Bonecrusher - Attribute/DARK, LV/*****, ATK/2200, DEF/900, Type/Machine/Effect. If "Hook" is in play, Special Summon "Scrapper" or "Long-Haul" from your hand or deck.)
A bulldozer raced out and joined the two in robot form. The process from before started again with another card joining the three.
"Rinse and repeat. I bring forth Long-Haul!"
(Long-Haul - Attribute/DARK, LV/*****, ATK/2100, DEF/1100, Type/Machine/Effect. If "Mixmaster" is in play, Special Summon "Bonecrusher" or "Scrapper" from your hand or deck.)
A dump truck barreled its way through before joining the others in robot mode. Jason's grin became more frightening as a sole card emerged from his deck.
"Witness the instrument of your destruction, Chazz Princeton! I give you the Leader of the Construticons, Scrapper!"
(Scrapper - Attribute/DARK, LV/******, ATK/2500, DEF/2000, Type/Machine/Effect. If "Bonecrusher" is in play, Special Summon "Hook" or "Long-Haul" from your hand or deck.)
A front end loader emerged from the card and rumbled up to the other four. It transformed into a robot and stood proud before the large machine. Chazz blinked before he started to laugh.
"That's your big play?! Five itty bitty construction crew members?! You are so dead next round!" Chazz laughed.
All Jason did was smile.

Bastion looked on confused.
"I don't understand. While getting five monsters in play is a tremendous feat, what is Jason planning? None of them are powerful enough for Chazz's VW cannon." Bastion said. "I believe Jason has quite lost his mind."
"That's what he wants you to think, Bastion." Alexis interjected making the Ra genius look at her confused. "The five down there can make a world of hurt for Chazz. Individually, you're right. None of them are powerful enough to take on the Cannon. But Jason's not using them individually. He's going to use all of them."
Syrus got confused.
"What? How will he accomplish that?"
"Just watch." Jaden said with a cold tone.
The two looked at one another before turning back to the duel.

"You said it yourself Chazz. Many people think two is better then one. I disagree. FIVE monsters making ONE is far more superior. Constructicons! MERGE FOR THE KILL!"
Everyone watched spellbound as the five robots changed shape and joined together. The forming monster loomed over Chazz and his monster, its shadow blocking out the natural sunlight. Everyone gasped and/or screamed in abject terror at the hulking monster as the head finally formed. Its red visor face glared down at the groups of students and Chazz. It spoke in a robotic voice of five.
"PREPARE FOR EXTERMINATION!"
(Devastator – Attribute/DARK, LV/**********, ATK/3500, DEF/3000, Type/Machine/Fusion/Effect.
"Hook" + "Scrapper" + "Mixmaster" + "Long-Haul" + "Bonecrusher"
This card can only be Special Summoned from your Extra Deck by sending the above cards you control to the Graveyard. (You do not use "Polymerization") If this card attacks a LIGHT Attribute monster, it gains 500 ATK. When this card destroys a monster as a result of Battle, inflict 500 damage times the level of the destroyed monster.)
Jason grinned as he saw the fearful look of Chazz. He relished it. Now to make Chazz see how far outclassed he was.
"Devastator, attack! DESTROY THAT TRANSFORMER REJECT FROM HELL!"
The massive mech bellowed a war cry as his fist glowed dark purple. The smaller mech tried to defend itself from the fist but it was for naught as the fist punched clean through leaving a massively gaping hole. Needless to say, the cannon monster started to explode in various spots as the wreckage fell onto Chazz.
Chazz: 7000/Jason: 6700
Chazz panted before standing tall.
"I'm still in this slacker!" Chazz bellowed before a wave of dark purple energy washed over him and shocked him.
Chazz: 2500/Jason: 6700
Jason chuckled at the downed form of Chazz as he explained.
"When Devastator destroys a monster in battle, he deals 500 damage times the said destroyed monster's level. Cannon was level eight so you lost 4500 points of damage."
Chazz got back up slowly before glaring at Jason.
"D-d-d-d-do you end, slime?" Chazz snarled making Jason frown.
"I was...but now I won't. I play the quick-play spell, De-Couple!"
(De-Couple – Type/Spell/Quick-Play. Select a Fusion monster that was not summoned by the effect of "Polymerization." Return it to the Extra Deck and special summon from your deck or Graveyard the Fusion material.)
"With this card, I return Devastator back to my extra deck," Jason said as his mighty machine fell apart. "Only to regain the components that made him up! Return to me Constructions!"
The five robots transformed and landed on the ground with heavy thuds. Chazz's eyes went wide as he saw the empty field before him with only his active spell and trap. Jason grinned.
"See how utterly futile it is, Princeton. You cannot hope to fight both me and my brother...for we are both above you just as you are above duelists of nominal skill. Scrapper, finish it."
The leader of the Constructicons nodded before aiming a blaster at Chazz. Chazz could only watch as the blast bolt ejected from the barrel and slammed into his head, making dust and smoke erupt in an explosion.
Chazz:0/Jason: 6700 (Winner)
The arena went silent at the brutal way Jason had won. Soon though, one of the more bloodthirsty teens began to cheer and the rest of the crowd started to as well. Jason looked taken aback by the sudden cheering before he masked his shock. He simply looked at the crowd and put his fist into the air, making the crowd go even louder with their cheer.

Crowler was shaking with rage; not only had he messed up on who Chazz was dueling, but the boy had been defeated!
"Chazz lost even with those Rare cards I gave him?!" Crowler shrieked too loudly making several heads look at him in shock and others in rage.
"What was that about Rare cards, Crowler?" Fonda Fontaine asked in a too innocent tone.
Crowler froze in fear before chuckling nervously.
"Well, its been fun, but I have papers to grade! Buh-bye!" Crowler said as he beat a hasty retreat.
Fonda looked at Sartyr, Midori, Heidi, and Banner who all nodded. They would report the action to Sheppard later. Right now they had some advancements to give out.

Syrus watched the tiny screen of their TV in the Slifer commons.
"In a stunning turn of events, no dorm student Jason Yuki dueled and defeated Obelisk Blue Prince Chazz Princeton in a nail biting duel. Here's hoping to more exciting duels from the Decepticon Overlord! Now onto today's placements..."
Syrus watched the names eagerly but sighed. He had done well, but hadn't made it Ra. At least he was one step closer.
"Hey, Sy, get that grilled cheese willya!? Jaden and Alexis will be here soon!"
"You got it Chumley!" Syrus called. He wondered what else was going to happen here at the island.
