Hi everyone. I'm afraid this fic is now cancelled. It had some problems with the pacing and general poor choices on my part that I felt could be best served by a rewrite. As a result, there is now said rewrite in progress under the name 'The Rose and the Crown', which will hopefully proceed a lot better. It uses a lot of material from the first few chapters of this story, but from the second chapter on it starts to add new stuff as well.
