The last day together. Emmett and I locked ourselves away in one of the guestrooms. Emmett and I continued having sex and decided to just forget about Rosalie and Edward. It wasn't the most ideal thing to do or moral thing to do but at this moment we were happy. We would take breaks to go eat and bathroom breaks. After we made love one last time. We snuggle up, sad our affair was about to end.

I raised up and say, "So let's just say that a genie popped up and said that we have three wishes..."

Emmett laughs as he raises up, "A genie? You can't trust a genie...they are scam artist.." I give him a strange look and say, "Wait are genies real….never mind that doesn't matter...it's a hypothetical question."

He says, "So three wishes?" I nod, "Yeah like would you wish to stay human?" Emmett raises an eyebrow and says, "Is this a trick question? Do you know a genie?"

I say, "Come on, Emmett. Answer the question. He grabs my hand and kisses the top of it. "I loved being human and spending the week with you. Yes I have missed being a human but I did like being a vampire…." He was still holding my hand, I say, "Are we going to be able to go back to the way we were….platonic friends."

Emmett replies, "I mean you love Edward and I love Rose. We said that this was nothing more than lust and once I finally able to get back to being a vampire….I'm sure these feelings of lust for one another will subside..."

I nod sadly. Him and I both knew this was more than just lust. Emmett says trying to brighten up the mood, "My three wishes would. I would wish for the rest of the Nomads to be human. So they would be easy to track and find, the Volturi to forget that we exist, and you to be invincible to the supernatural." I ask, "Why not have the Volturi to turn into the human?" Emmett replies, "As evil as the Volturi can be, I think without them it would be chaos with the other vampires...they would probably wipe out the human population. Everyone needs some type of order."

I finally raise up and look around, "We going to have to clean soon. They'll smell us..."

Emmett sighs, "Yeah. I thought maybe I would have turn back into a vampire by now and be able to clean this room up pretty quick but looks like that I may still be human with they return."

I pull on Emmett's shirt and throw Emmett his boxers and say, "Well we can start now and it should be fine once they get here tonight..."

Emmett pulls on his boxers and he starts stripping the bed while I go get candles to light up in the room. I then sprinkle the carpet with some carpet freshener and vacuum. Trying to get rid of our smell. Most likely no one will step in this room but it was best to be safe.

I spray around. Emmett puts the bedding in the washer. A few hours has past and we were making the bed up and my phone rings, My heart goes through my throat when I see Edward's name. He hadn't even called all week. I say to Emmett, "It's Edward." Emmett looked a little worried and I take a breath, "Hello?"

"Hey, Love. Sorry I hadn't called you all week. There was no service. We are heading back and should be home in a half an hour." I say, "Okay. Yay!" I try to sound ethusiasitic."

Edward says, "So, how was being with Emmett? Was he too much of an ass?" I say, "No. He was fine. You know him...on his video games."

Edward says, "Oh, good. Well we will see you soon. I've missed you."

I say, "Missed you too."

Edward replies, "Love you, bye."

I say, "Love you too. Bye."

I hang up and say, "They will be here in 30 minutes. Emmett says, "We need to take showers."

I nod and say, "It'll probably be best that they are separate." Emmett seemed disappointed, "Yeah...I suppose so."

We take our showers and I try to dry my wet hair as much as possible before braiding it and putting on my yoga pants and hoodie. We then both sit in the living room on separate seats. Emmett looked visibly nervous and he says, "I thought I would have changed back by now. Carlisle is going to kill me."

I reply, "He'll understand. You didn't know..."

He sighs, "This is why Carlisle doesn't tell me things like this because I screw up..."

At that moment we hear the door open and Edward says, "I'm home." I say, "We are in here..." I look over at Emmett and he stands up waiting for them to walk in.

Edward smiles when he sees me and in front of me before I could blink, he pulls me in for a kiss and says, "I've missed you so much." I smile, "I missed you."

Edward then looks around with a curious look, "Why do I hear another heartbeat?" At that time Carlisle had walked in and I suppose he heard it as well and his eyes were piercing into Emmett.

Edward looks at me then Emmett, "What happened this week? Why didn't you tell me that Emmett was human?"

I stuttered and say, "I didn't know how to tell you..."

Emmett says, "I talked Bella to go to a high school party that she was invited to and it was The Birches..." Carlisle voice low but you could hear the anger, "Oh...Emmett..no.."

Emmett says, "I thought they were just some goth kids, pretending to do witchcraft." Carlisle said, "I told you to just steer a way from that family…." Emmett looks at him and replies, "Well, you never told me they were witches."

Carlisle laughs humorlessly and says, "I wonder why? I have deal with them. They fact that the kids spells are strong enough to work on a vampire shows how much more powerful they can be…."

I say, "The mother walked in after the spell happened and the mother seemed more afraid of you being angry with them. Her mother was not happy with them..."

Carlisle sighs, "Well. I will have to call tomorrow and clear everything up." Carlisle then says, "Now come here Emmett." Emmett hesitated not sure what Carlisle was about to do but did as he was commanded.

Carlisle looks at me, "You may want to close your eyes."

I didn't and watched as Carlisle broke Emmett's neck and Emmett's limp body fell to the ground. I gasp shocked and Edward pulls me closer to him and says, "It's okay..."

Within a min Emmett's eyes opened and he got up, popping his neck in place...his eyes were no longer brown again. He was a vampire. Carlisle says, "No go hunt. We will talk later..."

Emmett nods and Emmett and I exchanged sad glances and then Emmett disappeared. I look up at Edward to see if he noticed anything from Emmett's mind but he seemed to have not…

He sighs and shakes his head, "We try to trust that he could be mature enough to not do anything stupid so he could protect Bella if needed and instead he gets himself turned into a human..."

Carlisle sighs, "It may take century or so before he ever matures."

Edward then grabs my hand and says, "I want to talk to you for a minute. Let's go up to my room." I nod kind of afraid of what he may want to talk about…

I follow Edward up stairs and into his room. He sniffs the room and says, "It doesn't even smell like you have been in here." I lie, "I slept in the living room a lot. It gets creepy up here, when I am alone..."

I then say, "What did you want to talk about?" Edward takes a breath and says, "I am ready to try to be more intimate with you." I hesitate and then say, "Intimate...like…."

Edward says, "I mean we will have to test the waters. I had a huge discussion with Carlisle and he gave me some tips..." My face turned red, "You talked to Carlisle about having sex with me?"

Edward shrugs, "He's a doctor, Bella."

Edward looks at me and frowns, "I thought you would be more excited." I smile, "No I am...I just need to process it." Edward kisses my forehead and says, "I'm ready to try when you're ready."

I nod and say, "Well, I think I am going to go home and think about it. I miss being in my bed." Edward nods understandably and says, "Would like me come in tonight." I couldn't find an excuse to why not but I had to get the scent of Emmett out of my room, I smile, "Sure...but wait a few hours. I'll probably be visiting dad for a while. Haven't seen him..."

Edward says, "Let me at least take you home." I roll my eyes as I grab my keys and night bag, "Edward...I'm not that breakable...I can at least drive myself home." Edward says, "I know..." I walk to him and kiss his cold lips softly and say, "I'll see you tonight."

I needed some alone time and get my mind straight. As I was driving I heard a loud thud on the back of my truck and I about had a heart attack. "Hey Bella!" It was Emmett and he pulls himself through the window on the passenger side. I say, "Dammit Emmett. You have to try to give me a heart attack."

He shrugs, "No but I do enjoy frighten you sometimes."

I say, "Why are you here?" Emmett replies, "Going to help get your room clean and our smell out before Edward comes over tonight. Since I'm a vampire again then I can do it in vampire speed." He grins at me.

I roll my eyes and say, "Fine."

Emmett says, "So. Happy that your lover boy is back?" I nod, "Yeah. I've missed him."

Emmett laughs, "Yeah. Sure you did..." I say, "What happened this week is history. You are a vampire again and everything is back to normal."

Emmett says, "Right. Back to normal." I say, "Anyways Edward told me that he is ready to be intimate with me now." Emmett rolls his eyes, "I figured that was what that father son hunt was about. To teach Edward about the birds and bees.."

I say, "I would punch you but I don't want to break my hand." Emmett says, "Please, don't. I am already in enough trouble with Carlisle."

I pull up in my driveway. I noticed Dad was already home. I say, "I'll go upstairs and unlock the window for you. Emmett hops out and says, "I'll meet you there!" Before disappearing.

I come in and say, "Hey Dad!" Dad was in his recliner and smiles as I come in, "Hey, Bells! Missed you."

I smile, "Missed you too. I am going to go put my stuff up." I go upstairs and open the window up and Emmett hops in. Emmett looks around and says, "Hmm I didn't noticed before but. your room looks like the inside of a genie bottle. Are you the hypothetical genie we were discussing earlier?"

I roll my eyes as I pull my sheets and blankets off the bed and say, "Just do what you can do to get it to not smell like you in here. There are cleaning supplies in the bathroom."

I then head downstairs and dad says, "Cleaning your sheets this late?" I say, "Yeah they just have a weird smell to them.." I put them in the washer and then come back and sit, "So how was the fishing trip?"

Dad says, "It was relaxing. I enjoyed it….I think I needed it to rejuvenate." I nod and smile, "Good." We made small talk. I hear the washer buzz and then put my sheets in the dryer before heading upstairs. Emmett was gone and the room smelled fresh. Everything was tidy. I text Emmett, "Thank you."

Emmett txt back "No problem."

Edward will be here and I was excited. I think I was excited. Everything is going to go back to normal. I am not going to feel guilty about this week because it was a fling. I deserve to do something immature and stupid. I am a teenager….so I won't feel guilty.
