Chapter One: Team WRNG
"One thing I've always been fascinated by with life is the many mysterious it has waiting for us. The twists, the turns, and the many branching paths to walk down, despite one's best efforts nothing can ever truly be planned perfectly in life. Take this moment for example my fine young friend, I'd wager you didn't plan to be in this situation you've found yourself in now?" A man with white hair and glasses, said to Midas who was locked inside of a giant glass cube prison around him.
"…Pardon my rashness, but is this lecture going to end soon? Or will you just keep sitting there sipping your tea my good "old" man?" Midas said to the mystery man with distain in his voice after banging on the glass for a moment.
"I must say your manners are rather back handed, but we'll just chock that up to your youth. It was that kind of thinking that let you think you could get away with stealing from me after all, do you like the cube trap by the way had it custom made for you? Everyone has something they can improve on your father Dean never got around to maturing, but maybe you just might Mr. Varric…or should I say Mr. Albion?" The man said with a chuckle to Wraith who despite his best couldn't stop himself from cringing at his "old" last name.
"…Who are you old man, and how do you know about my father and that name!" Wraith roared at the man before punching his fist on the glasses in irritation.
"Well I'm glad you finally asked Wraith my name is Ozpin, I'm the headmaster of this kingdoms most prestige school, Beacon Academy. I'm actually quite good companions with your father Dean, you look just like him you know, but you've got your mothers hair, and her ears despite your best to hide that part of yourself. Wraith Albion son of, Dean Albion the "hero of Vale the kingdom" has a far better ring to it than Wraith Varric the petty thief and crime bosses younger brother? However your reasons for this "charade" is your business I tend not to judge the choices of my kingdoms youth. Would you like some tea while we discuss?" Ozpin said to Wraith who fell backwards in shock from just how much this "Ozpin" knew about him.
"That explains why I don't like you now, you're "his" friend, don't compare me to "him" again, and "hero" is a bit strong. Does a hero walk out on his family without a second thought, I'm nothing like that man, that's why I threw away his last name I'm not Wraith Albion anymore, I'm Wraith Varric and the Golden Thief Midas everything Dean the "hero" will never be. Now what do you want, surely this "invitation" was a joke or misdirection?" Wraith said to Ozpin after taking his mask off walking back up to the glass, and staring him down dead in the eyes rage blazing in his as he did.
"I can't speak for how he was as a father, but Dean Albion was a great man who dedicated everything to helping the people of Vale. Regardless of how you feel about him, never forget your father was a hero Wraith, and he loved you more than you could possibly imagine. Now my "invitation" is just what it seems, I knew you'd be difficult about accepting hence me setting up this "dialogue" between us. You might be reluctant to the idea now, but I'm sure you'll come around to my way of thinking? You're not the only one I've had to convince this recently, I'm actually quite good at it. Now do have some tea we're going to be discussing for quite awhile." Ozpin said to Wraith after tapping his cane down, and collapsing the cube around Wraith, and offering him a cup of tea.

"Aspiring hunters and huntresses I welcome you to the finals for our annual Shade Academy graduation duels. The very place where future legends for our great kingdom of Vacuo are forged in the fires of battle! The graduating juniors were most spectacular this year, but only one has earned the right to face two-year champion Vertigo Rune, and that is to no ones surprise Gabriel Azure! The young up start who many have said can hold his own against even Mistal's own Pyrrha Nikos." The announcer for Shade academy's graduation tournament in Vacuo said to the roaring crowd as the two young fighters walked into the arena.
One of the young men was wearing black boots, a white t-shirt, a pair of dark blue sunglasses, and a sleeveless black open coat with a blue Vacuo kingdom sigil on the back. He was as tall as he was muscular, his skin light bronze like his homeland, and finally his hair and eyes dark blue with a hint of sky blue. He also had a giant ornate sword strapped to his back, his primary weapon of choice.
The other man was wearing black leather combat jeans, a purple hoodie, a red scarf, black sneakers, and a pair of light purple gauntlet fists. He to was muscular with tan skin, but his eyes and hair were purple with a hint of red.
"Oh my god its "Gabriel the Hero" he's so cool, he just crushed everyone else this year without even trying…GO GABRIEL YOU CAN DO IT!" Many female students in the crowd said after Gabriel walked into the arena
"That's right ladies I'm pretty great aren't I…in fact WHOSE YOUR HERO SHADE ACADEMY!" Gabriel said with a triumphant grin to the crowd before facing them with his arms swung out high.
"YOU ARE GABRIEL YOU'RE SO DREAMY!" The crowed roared back at Gabriel who basked in the spotlight with a grin.
"I came here to fight and represent the best Shade and Vacuo has to offer Azure, but no keep show boating I'm sure that's what our people really want to see? Vertigo said to Gabriel with his arms crossed in an annoyed tone.
"Now theirs nothing wrong with showing off especially when your this awesome Vertigo, besides we both know I won the moment I stepped into this ring. Your time in the sun as the top dog is over, you're about to become a stepping stone in my path to becoming the most legendary hero Remnants ever seen." Gabriel said to Vertigo with a sly grin after he took off his dark blue sunglasses.
"Two years of junior school have done nothing to humble that attitude of yours Azure, so much power and talent wasted. If only you could see beyond your own ego you'd realize being a heroes about more than just being the strongest.' Vertigo said to Gabriel after taking his fighting stance.
"Such big talk from someone whose about to get wiped all over the floor, I must say. Don't stand their and pretend like you know me Vertigo, the "hero" title isn't just a joke to me, I earned it with the same strength that's going to crush you. But if words aren't enough for you go ahead get the first shot and I'll prove it to you." Gabriel said to Vertigo before he stabbed his buster sword into the ground and spread his arms out, making himself open to Vertigo's attack.
"Is this a joke to you Azure you think you can beat me without ever using your weapon, how dare you make a fool of me and this traditional duel. I HAVE HAD IT WITH YOUR ARROGANCE!" Vertigo roared at Gabriel after unleashing his spiked gauntlets and activating his duplication semblance creating four more copies of himself. They than all blasted towards Gabriel and unleashed a series of powerful blows smacking him around like a rag doll.
"…Not yet…almost there just a bit more…soon…" Gabriel thought as he took punch after punch from Vertigo getting back up each time he was knocked down, his fans shrieking in shock every time it took him longer to.
"Come on I know you said you'd let me have the first hit, but this is ridiculous Azure fight back! I want you to go all out, that way when I finally pound you into the ground you'll finally learn some humility. I've even pulled out all the stops and used my semblance right out of the gate, fight back I SAID FIGHT BAC…wait what?" The Vertigos said as they all kept tearing into Gabriel who remained adamant like a statue each time he returned to him feet, until he finally out of nowhere grabbed one of the Vertigo's fists mid punch stopping it.
"…All charged up you're the one whose about to learn the lesson in humility Vertigo, when I show you just how vast the difference between me and you is. You wanted me to fight back well here you GO!" Gabriel roared as a blazing blue aura began surrounding him, he than with a roar lifted the Vertigo clone up into the air, and finally slammed him hard back down onto the ground splitting the entire arena while doing so. Than without missing a beat he hit another clone so hard it went flying into the sky so hard it was torn apart from the impact and disappeared.
"What the heck wh…where is all this coming from? Just what kind of weird semblance do you HAVE!" Vertigo roared at Gabriel after he and his remaining clones jumped back.
"Like it? My semblance lets me use kinetic energy from when I hit or get hit, and channel it anyway I want to. I can also store it until I feel like releasing it, like right now when I'm channeling it all into my muscles, I could have broken the arena with just a fraction what I used so far. THE HARDER YOU HIT ME THE STRONGER I GET! You call me arrogant Vertigo you never once thought I wanted to get tossed around by you, you were to focused on teaching me a "lesson" you couldn't see the bigger picture. You asked why I'm not using my sword right now, it's not because I'm not taking this fight seriously, its because your not even worth smacking with the blunt edge of it." Gabriel said with a big grin before he started lightly hopping in place taking his fighting stance. Gabriel's glowing aura blazing an outline around him while he got into the perfect stance.
"You think you're so cool so you tricked me into giving you a power up big deal, power doesn't equal skill. And I can also do that to, each clone is just a fraction of the original, but if I take them all back into myself I get charged up stronger than I was before…ok lets do this!" Vertigo said to Gabriel after his clones all collapsed back into him, and he blasted toward Gabriel again.
"Unlike you I looked up my opponents semblance I was aware of its power up ability, that's why I took down two of them so you couldn't get it all. Once again the true arrogant one turns out to be you Vertigo, but don't worry this is going to end real soon." Gabriel said to Vertigo once he launched a counter punch, his fist meeting Vertigos in mid air stopping both of them dead in their tracks and creating a shockwave from the two powerful blows.
"Cool right? Now lets takes the training wheels off shall we? Some of us have an appointment in the winners circle after all." Gabriel said to Vertigo before breaking from the fist clash, and spin kicking him like a blue whirlwind. The two young men than entered into a series of back and forth clashes, Vertigo couldn't connect a single hit on Gabriel who never once broke from his vicious onslaught.
"…This can't be real, you didn't just do what I think you did?" Vertigo said in utter shock as his the gauntleted fist met Gabriel's began to crack from the impact of his punch.
"Oh yes this is exactly what it looks like Vertigo I said it before, and I'll say it again your time in the sun is OVER!" Gabriel yelled as his aura blazed wildly around him as he pushed harder in his punch, shattering Vertigos weapons. He than nailed him right in the face sending, Vertigo flying back a few feet knocked out.
"And their you have it people in a truly stunning battle we now have Shade Academy's newest graduation champion, Gabriel Azure. This young man has just blazed a brighter future for himself ladies and gentlemen, and true example to live up to for future tournaments.
"I SAID WHO IS YOUR HERO!" Gabriel yelled triumphantly to the crowed while pointing to them, after putting his sunglasses back on.
"YOU ARE GABRIEL GO GABRIEL THE HERO!" The crowd yelled back to Gabriel as confetti and a victory banner came down to celebrate the end of the tournament.
"Well done Mr. Azure you truly proved your metal as a warrior today, but maybe its time to consider a name change perhaps? While theirs no question your strong, your opponent wasn't wrong you still have much to learn on what is a hero." Ozpin said to Gabriel after he walked back into the constants preparation room used between fights.
"Why hello to you to stranger, and thank you for the backhanded compliment. Now let me guess, your going to say something like you can show me what a "Real" hero is right?" Gabriel said to Ozpin as he began cleaning his sword "Judgement" to look good for the award ceremony.
"Oh heavens no nothing of the sort, I was merely making an observation on where you were lacking. This is something you have to discover for yourself Mr. Azure, it's not something that can just be discussed in one simple conversation. I do however have a suggestion for where you can take your first step towards understanding, what it truly means to be a hero." Ozpin said to Gabriel before dropping a Beacon Academy brochure onto his lap.
"I just earned the champion title for Shade Academy and you want me to give that all up for Beacon? Even if say I wanted to do that, why Beacon after today schools will be begging me to transfer to them?" Gabriel said to Ozpin after he picked up the brochure and glanced at it.
"I can't make you do anything you don't want to Mr. Azure, but know one thing this isn't a guarantee this is a suggestion. Beacon will not be awarding you the same handouts the other academies would as you just mentioned, if you wish to attend you must earn your spot like everyone else. I assure you it won't be easy, but nothing in life worth having or learning ever is, if you truly wish to challenge yourself, and find your answers Beacon would be a very sufficient starting point of course that's all up to you. Your rival Pyrrha Nikos just got accepted by the way. Alright Its been enjoyable talking with you Mr. Azure I hope to see you once again in the future, congratulations on the win, now good day." Ozpin said to Gabriel before turning to leave.
"Wait…who are you to be making all these grand gestures and lectures huh, and if I'm not a "true" hero in your eyes why bother with me?" Gabriel asked Ozpin who grinned after he did.
"I'm glad you asked, my name is Ozpin the headmaster of Beacon Academy in the Vale kingdom. Now to answer your other question, as headmaster I recognize potential and the room to change in people...just some food for thought Mr. Azure now I really must be going, good luck with whatever path you choose?" Ozpin said to a stunned Gabriel before leaving.
"…Beacon Academy huh?" Gabriel said to himself as he opened the brochure.

"Ok calm down Nova you've done this tons of times before, it just like singing to yourself when your alone...except for a few thousand people instead of just us in front of our mirror, ah why'd I just say that just breath...in...and out there now isn't that better?" A panicked young girl said to herself while looking in a mirror.
"Supernova your going on stage in a few minutes, are you ready Supernova?" A stage hand said to the still panicked girl after she walked into the dressing room.
"y...yeah i'm good i'll be out in a few minutes, I wouldn't want anything to screw up tonight the show must go on after all." Nova said to the stage hand whom nodded in agreement before leaving the dressing room again.
"Alright just you again Nova last chance to pull yourself together forget about dad, and forget about Atlas Academy, just focus on the music thats why your here. Stick to the plan do your best to get noticed as a musician turned star, and than just live the good life after that. No one has to fight any nasty grimm today no sir...see theirs a smile good we can do this lets go." Nova said to her reflection one final time to build confidence, and for the most part it seemed to work. She got herself together, grabbed her guitar, and walked out of the dressing room towards the stage.
The stage where her concert was to be performed, was a magnificent stadium in Atlas city packed to the brim with a few thousand members of the audience.
"Ladies and gentlemen thank you for coming this wonderful charity concert held right here in the heart of atlas city. We pride ourselves on being the leading edge on technology in all of Remnant, but thats not the only art that matters we also strive to be the best in music as well. We have many young upstarts tonight ready to make their mark on the world. So without further a do let me introduce a new girl whose come all the way from parts unknown, and she's here to shine like a star but not just any star one thats going SUPERNOVA!" The announcer for the charity event concert loudly proclaimed from up on stage before welcoming Nova up onto it.
Nova wore a brilliant red and orange dress with star patterns, she also had two red stars painted over her eyes, and she had her dark metallic red guitar in hand when she approached the spotlight.
"HELLO PEOPLE THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR LETTING ME PLAY HERE TONIGHT, I'M SUPER EXCITED TO WOW ALL OF YOU! NOW GET READY TO GO BLASTING THROUGH THE STARS K?" Nova said in characters with a bright and cheerful idol voice to the entire stadium, after stepping into the spotlight, and brandishing her guitar to begin playing. As she began playing her guitar created visual effects based off the dust element she had it set on reacting the story in her song. She created miniature people out of stone with earth, stars with fire, dark clouds with water, and created green lyric symbols with wind.

"And gaze up at the magnificent night sky-"

"Twinkle twinkle little star, now its time to close your eyes, time to make a wish-"
"Twinkle twinkle little star, now it's time to hope, and now its time to make your dreams come true!"
"You always found a way to make my fears fly away like shooting stars-"
"You always held me up, and made me believe I could do anything."
"Always there to help me face the dark times, with smile-"
"Never to far from dreams, always ready to remind me of that little girls wish."
"...But as I grew things began to change-"
"Your warm smile beginning to fade, your hand turning cold."
"Responsibility, and duty the only thing you care about now-"
"Tradition meaning more to you than I do."
"The time for dreams ending, replaced by harsh reality-"
"Those stars we once wished on have begun to fade out, don't you even care what I want?"
"The kind protector who helped scare away all my fears, and watched me grow is gone now-"
"Only the stiff and stern soldier is left, left right left right march in line."
"My future set in stone without even asking-"
"It's your duty, your in a long line of soldiers everyone has to grow up someday!"
"...The darkness creeping closer once again, fears returning-"
"Your expectations of me crushing me, never letting me be me."
"I look up at that sky once more searching for hope once again-"
"All for nothing the sky's empty now, no more stars...wait whats that?"
"One single little star still twinkles in the dark, refusing to give in-"
"I reach out and make a wish once again-"
"Twinkle twinkle little star, please give me the strength to make my dreams come true..."
Nova than stopped playing her guitar and singing her sad tempo for a few solitary seconds, before she started up again with a renewed since of vigor and spirit.
"Hope restored you can't stop me from being me!-"
"You can keep all your stupid duty and tradition, cuz i'm going to shiny like a star!-"
"So bright I'll light up that dark night sky again all by myself, just like a SUPERNOVA!"
"oh yeah i'm going to brighten up the world, and find my place to shine-"
"Theirs no stopping me now, i'm never gonna stop fighting i'll show you I can stand on my own now!"
"One day i'm going to show you just how bright this star can shine!"
After reaching the end of her song Nova took a single bow to the audience who erupted in a sea of applause, some even throwing flowers up onto the stage.
"Oh thank you Supernova that was an amazing song, thank you for starting us off hot tonight with the charity concert, lets get another round of applause for this young lady people of Atlas!" The announcer said to the audience after nova took her bow.
"WE LOVE YOU SUPERNOVA!" The crowd roared back to Nova in response to the announcers request. No one in the crowd could see becuase of the distance, but a slight smile of joy crossed Nova'a face from the people loving her music.
"Bravo Miss Scarlet, bravo indeed that was quite the performance. But isn't it a bit strange to be leaving so soon, what if they ask for an encore?" Ozpin asked Nova minutes after her performance, when she'd tried to sneak out after getting changed.
"I...I don't know how you realized it was me I thought I was being so careful even had my hair effected to look pink on stage? Look to answer your question mister i'm leaving becuase tonight was one time deal, I have to getting packing for Atlas Academy soon ok?" Nova said to Ozpin who simple chuckled back at her response.
"I'm a simple admirer of music is all, I also just happen to know quite a few people is all. Now do forgive my bluntness young lady, i'm not laughing at you, I was simply thinking that while Atlas Academy is most prestigious it's hardly the place to shine like a "supernova." Or was your song just a bunch of pretty words and no substance Miss Scarlet?" Ozpin asked Nova who froze dead in her tracks at his question.
"N...no it wasn't...LOOK SHUT UP YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND ANYTHING ABOUT ME STRANGER!" Nova shouted at Ozpin before trying to punch him in annoyance something which he effortlessly dodged out of the way from.
"Easy now Miss Scarlet, your right I don't know you personally, but it doesn't take a genius to see your special after that performance. You have a gift to benefit people with your music and your spirit. Your a free spirit Nova, Atlas would take that from you if you allowed yourself to keep letting others decide which paths your life should take. Don't you think it's time you stopped trying to make others happy because of duty, and started trying to rediscover who you are as a person?" Ozpin said with a gentle smile to a teary eyed Nova.
"...Don't you think I want to, but its not that easy ok! I've spent my whole life being told I have to be this not that, I have a responsibility to uphold i'm part of a tradition and a legacy...they'd hate me if i turned away now, and might never want to see me ever again." Nova shouted with now full on tears in her eyes at Ozpin after falling to her knees.
"I can't tell you what to do young lady you've let others do that for far to long already...but I can tell you life isn't easy its about taking risks and making mistakes. We all fall down sometimes, its just part of growing as a person. But the key is to never let your fear hold you back from yourself. I ask you isn't one risk worth a life time of happiness?" Ozpin said to Nova after taking her hand briefly to help her back up again, and slipping something into it at the same time.
"Why are you being so nice and helpful to me mister, I've never met you before today, and I don't think you know my family...so why?" Nova asked Ozpin would begun to walk away.
"Its simple my dear, don't you remember I already said it your special Miss Scarlet. I take pride in finding many bright youths like yourself and helping down the right path every here and now. If you find the courage to take back control of your life again, feel free to give that invitation I just gave you a look. It might just be the kind of change your looking for...Oh and my name is Headmaster Ozpin Miss Scarlet." Ozpin said with another gentle smile before walking out of sight leaving Nova to think about their talk, and the the Beacon Academy entry form he'd put in her hand.

"...Ok...yeah yeah that looks cool, just add a little bit more here maybe there too, and we might just have something amazing here." A young blonde spikey haired girl with silver eyes whispered to herself as she continued to draw in a small sketchbook marked "Awesome ideas".
The very detailed image being drawn in the sketchbook by the girl, was schematics for improvements to a pair of gold and silver crossbows and possible transformations the two could create once coming together.
"RAY LUNA! How many times do I have to tell you to pay attention in class young lady, do I need to send you to detention again on graduation week?" The Signal Academy teacher commented after lightly smacking Ray in the back of the head with a ruler.
"Ouch ok easy easy their teacher, no need to do anything cccrrraazzzzyyyyy now ok i'm sure we can talk about this right...after I finish this sketch of course I have had this idea all day and just HAVE to write it down right now...HEY NO GIVE THAT BACK, YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND I NEED TO FINSH COME ON!" Ray said to her teacher after they took her notebook away from her. She tried to get it back by reaching and hopping up and down for it, but the much taller teacher held it just out of reach before facing palming himself becuase of his immature student.
"What you need to be doing Miss Luna is paying attention in my class, but no like always your head was up in the clouds somewhere. Fine you don't want to listen in class you can listen in remedial classes after school today, you can get your book back than.
"WHAT! But you just said you didn't want to do that? What if I say i'm really really sorry and won't do it again well huh...not buying it huh, fine but i'll be under protest mister." Ray said back to her teacher before sitting back down with her arms crossed in anger and annoyance.
"Oh I wouldn't have it any other way miss Luna now PAY ATTENTION!..." The teacher said back to Ray who shrank back into her seat, and went back to listening to her boring lecture.
After what seemed like FOREVER the school day was finally over and Ray was given her sketchbook back in detention...after they locked the door to keep her their the whole time that is of course.
"Oh precious the mean teacher didn't mess up or crinkle any of your pages did they? I missed you all day don't worry we back together now, and i'll finish your amazing new sketch aaaaahhhh." Ray said after getting her sketchbook back and rubbing it lightly on her cheek with a grin.
"...Gods if only you could channel that spirit of yours towards something constructive other than your doodles. You skipped an entire grade to get here, but than you just lost yourself in this attention problem such a wast. But I know theirs no changing you now, however I'll try and can set you on a proper path in life before you graduate. Which brings me to the "Real" reason I had you sent here today, you still haven't sent out your applications to any of the academies, or even filled out a report on what you want to do in life. So that is why until you pick an academy and fill out an application your not leaving this room, and before you even say it your parents already gave their consent so they're not going to bail you out missy." Ray's teacher said to her before slamming down a handful of different academy application forms onto her desk.
"But but but...this is so unfair backing me into a corner and forcing me to do this I DON'T WANT TO! I can't just make a decision like this rashly so what if I was a few months late on application...besides I don't really know what I want to do." Ray shouted at the teacher, before quietly whispering the last part to herself while she avoided eye contact.
"Look Ray you need to do this everyone one have done this when they've reached your age for the last century, its a normal part of growing up and maturing. I know it will be tough, but you can't keep running away from this decision. If you want to at least be done with it today, than just fill out one of the forms and you may leave." The teacher said to Ray before waiting outside.
"...Fine looks like I can't get out of this, and I'm not running away I just don't know what to do is all. Ok Ray you can do this just pick one alright?" Ray complained out loud to herself while she looked over some of the application forms.
For the most part despite her resistance to the activity the application form she did take was filled out pretty quickly. Most of it was straight forward things like her name, her age, gender, her grades, but than she hit a brick wall she never saw coming; "WHY DO YOU WANT TO BE A HUNTRESS?" This single question weighed heavy down on the poor girl, so many different emotions and thoughts collided with each other in her mind a clear answer couldn't be found, and as minutes quickly became an hour of her just staring at the single question.
"Ah hello is this the correct room number, I seem to have gotten lost, its been quite some time since i've had business at Signal?" Ozpin said after he opened the door with a master key he was given by signals headmaster.
"...Kind of hard to know which room your talking about mister when you don't also say the room number, but i'm gonna go out on a limb and say no it's not. Also my name's Ray Luna by the way hhhheeeelllllooooo?" Ray said to Ozpin with a cute little wave happy for any kind of distraction from her application.
"Oh of course my apologies Ms. Luna the room number just escaped me, as I said i've gotten myself throughly lost today. Where are my manners my name is Ozpin, now might I ask why you seem so down before I go?" Ozpin said after walking over to Ray's desk to shake her hand.
"No worries dude i'm not much for manners my self, plus it was kind of funny so we're good, and I don't see why not probably should talk it out with someone. I'm supposed to fill out this application for one of the hunter academies...but this last questions killing me and I just can't seem to answer it?" Ray said with a smile before slumping down into her desk depressed.
"Well why don't I have a look for myself and see whats gotten the young lady so depressed...hm "Why do you want to be a huntress"? Seems pretty straight forward for someone whose already spent a few years in junior hunter's school, I'm afraid I don't see the problem." Ozpin said to Ray after lifting up her paper to see the question.
"Well I know it seems simple, and your right despite me skipping a few grades I should already know why I want to be one after my time in junior school...but I just can't seem to find the words...argh this is so frustrating!" Ray said before ruffling her own hair in frustration.
"Well that is a problem isn't it? Wait I know a solution, sometimes its helpful to be more organic when decision making so doing something like stating it out loud could be beneficial. So i'll head back to the front desk and you stand up and just say whatever comes to you first, and don't stop until you know your done ok?" Ozpin said to a curious Ray, before walking back up to the teachers desk.
"Yeah that could work maybe, its worth a shot at least, ok breath Ray, breath one...two...three! Why do I want to be a huntress, it feels like their should be a million different reasons I get that, but if i'm being honest with myself than I have to say...I really don't know why. I just don't know what I want to do or be with my life, i've tried thinking about it really hard, and i've got nothing. You see when you come from where I do you go through through life feeling like theirs something missing in it you know, and maybe being a huntress could help me find what i've been missing, and maybe it won't I just don't know. I'd like to say I want to be the brave hero who wants to be a huntress, becuase she wants to save and help people, but that's just not me either. For now alls I can really say about wanting to be a huntress is; "I don't know" but I know their is an answer to this question and I'll find it one day...So how was that do you think that would work?" Ray asked Ozpin whom seemed impressed by her speech.
"I think that went splendidly Ms. Luna, and that should work just fine. I must say this to despite your young age you show a lot of maturity in acknowledging that you don't have all the answers right now. Now if you don't mind me asking a question of my own, of all the applications on your desk why did you pick this academy?" Ozpin said to Ray with a smile.
"Well its kind of cheesy, but this is where my parents first met each other, i've heard them tell all these stories about it, and from what i've heard it seems like a good place to try to find my answer to this question?" Ray said a bit embarrassed to Ozpin whom gave off a slight grin.
"Don't think that way Ms. Luna I think thats an admirable reason, it helped put your parents on the right path when they were younger, so why wouldn't it do the same for you as well? After getting to know you a little and seeing the judge of your character Ray Luna i'd say Beacon would be lucky to have you as one of its joining first years next semester." Ozpin said to Ray whose eyes light up with excitement once he did.
"REALLY! Well you if you think so maybe I should send this application out, thank you for helping me with this Mr. Ozpin, and good luck with whatever brought you to Signal today." Ray said to Ozpin before filling in the final question on her application to Beacon Academy.
"No thanks are necessary ms. Luna i'm happy to help where I can, and thank you i'm sure my meetings going to go well today I hope our paths cross again once more in the future...i'd say she passed, she's certainly got a lot of spirit i'll give her that, now that just leaves final problem child to give an invitation to, I did make a promise with a friend after all?" Ozpin thought to himself as he walked out and back into the hallway.

"Well Mr. Ozpin you paint a fascinating picture , but no deal find some other kid for your little "School" i'm not interested. Don't have any plans on becoming a hunter, i'm perfectly fine just the way I am now thank you very much." Wraith said to Ozpin after listening to his sales pitch for Beacon Academy, and putting his Midas mask back on.
"Such a shame you seem so dead set on not being like your father, that you'd throw away a golden opportunity like this to be a normal kid and maybe meet some friends your one age. However I won't stop you if you wish to stay a thief just barely scrapping by with your "meager" skills, thats fine as well, just go and keep taking your fanus suppressant drug like nothing is different. As long as you stay small time, and don't come near my academy or my city to steal from I won't even turn you in...But should you choose to take my invitation to beacon you could have a whole new world opened up to you, and you could find the rest of these of course?" Ozpin said to Wraith before tossing him on of the sigil orbs he hadn't found yet.
"...Where...no how did you get this I've been dead locked for months trying to find another its like they've dropped off the face of the planet?" Wraith asked Ozpin in shock while he looked the orb over in his hand to check that it was real.
"It's quite simple really I got that one from an old friend, someone whose quite close to you actually, she said you might be looking for the rest someday. Their quite remarkable, it's not to often that you see myths come to life, although one would wonder why you want to find the city so badly Mr. Albion? Does a treasure beyond imagination really all it takes to drive you? But thats for another time I suppose? Now down to business the remaining keys split in two, one the white fang has, and the rest by an enemy i've recently come into odds with. So hows about I lay this on the offering table if you don't mind, you accept my offer to join beacon next semester, and i'll help you find and retrieve the remaining orbs from the enemies threatening our kingdom, interested?" Ozpin said to Wraith who was lost in the glow of the sigil orb, until putting it down and looking back at Ozpin.
"So you want me to fight your battles against this "enemy" for you is that it? Sorry not interested i'm no ones whined up toy." Wraith asked Ozpin whom gave him a look of disappointment in return.
"No no my dear boy, I want you to learn what it means to be a normal kid again with friends, I merely stated the fact we've confirmed the enemy threatening to unravel our homeland has the remaining prizes you seek. You going to Beacon would be the quickest way for you to find them and obtain the rest of your keys, now what say you Mr. Albion?" Ozpin said to Wraith who went dead silent lost in thought.
"...Fine and I told you, the last names Varric now not "Albion" got it?" Wraith said to Ozpin you who grinned, and handed him an acceptance letter to Beacon Academy.
"Of course my apologize now I expect to see you for orientation next semester in a month from now Mr. Varric...And thats all the invitations and applicants accepted for this year. It's been quite awhile since theirs been this many promising young students, all so spirited and driven in their own ways...I still find it quite fascinating that you asked this of me Dean, but after meeting them I can see why they both have potential. They both also each have their own problems hopefully their time at beacon will help hammer them out?" Ozpin said after waiting for him to leave, before bringing up a screen with all the accepted students this semester. It than paned over to Wraith and Ray's pictures, until they were next to each other, before finally turning off.
A/N: Ok all of team WRNG is accounted for now, next stop season 1 at Beacon and Wraiths reunion with RWBY. Also how was the song I'm not really good at writing music, but I decided to try it since I've decided its important to Nova's story. Each song in RWBY tells a story and this is part of Nova's from her childhood to her now. So what are your thoughts on Gabriel the "Hero" love him, hate him? I'm making him be just as strong and skilled as Pyrrha but unlike her he's very arrogant about it. And how about Nova huh? Everyone on team WRNG is going to have a character flaw which grows with them over the story. We also learned Wraiths real last name Albion a word to describe something thats white keeping with RWBY every name must relate to a color rule.
