Renesmee's POV

They were out looking for her.

The worry gripped me hard and I could barely breathe. She's gone again … and the feeling was bone crushing, again. Even if this time she wasn't kidnapped, we knew that we didn't know where she was. She was out there, vulnerable. She left with the thoughts of us hating her.

Oh, Annie. You couldn't be farther from the truth.

"We should've told her." I murmur lowly knowing full well the remaining vampires in the Main house could hear me. My eyes found Aunt Rose and Momma's faces. Momma's collective expression seem to battle between calm and being torn. Aunt Rose on the other side looked to be barely holding it together.

My eyes traveled to the rest of the vampires; Uncle Jasper, who stayed to calm the waters and Jessie. "We should've told her we all knew." I rephrased.

Jessie was the one to take this the hardest. He hasn't moved an inch since it all happened, he looked like a marble statue with impeccable pale skin and beautiful vampire features. And red eyes. I had read all his strong thoughts about tearing someone limb from limb if they ever touched Annie. He was ready to give his life but as Annie ran so did his strength. He was even willing to let that Colin get him.

"No, Nessie. I should've talked to her." Aunt Rose shook in her words. "She should know that I did the same thing but nobody was forcing me. I was worse. I'm the monster."

I inhale sharply recalling those dark times. Aunt Rose had disappeared and I swear I thought Uncle Emmett was going to turn himself into the Volturi if we didn't find her soon. We did, though. She was covered in blood, human blood. She had attacked campers across the country. She was losing herself. But Daddy and I never told anyone what she was thinking. We couldn't. All we said was that she was grieving and wasn't thinking straight.

She wanted the volturi to end her.

After that, we all took turns watching her. It was absolutely heartbreaking.

"Fuck that." Jessie snarls.

My eyes bounce to him in surprise and Uncle Jasper sitting next to him frowns. Jessie's composed and blank expression was changed to that of fury.

"Jessie." Aunt Rosalie scowled.

Jessie stood elegantly that only vampires could and held her hand as he sat next to her. I could already see the unconditional love she had for him as a mother and it was heartwarming to see. She gave him a sad smile.

His face softened in a very un-vampire like. "She'll be back. For us." He murmured.

"I know."

He gazed at her before he sighed and his eyes harden. He slowly let go of her hand and stood. "It's a simple vampire instinct. We made a mistake. But what Anna had to go through was not her fault. I don't give a flying fuck if it breaks the pack rules. They won't touch her."

"They can't," I mumble softly. His red eyes snapped to mine and kept it steady; he did look slightly intimidating. "She's an imprint. It's their most absolute law."

His jaw clenches and his pale skin glisten in anger. "Then why did that dog try to attack her?" He grits.

My face hardens. "I don't know. But he better watch himself."

My fist clenched as I thought back to the scene. He had angered me so much I was going to rip his throat out. I don't care if he's part of the pack he can't attack her like that. He just can't. My angered thoughts slowly faded and I felt weirdly calmer.

My eyes glanced at Uncle Jasper and he only gave me a small grin. My lips curled in a small smile in return. I noticed Jessie was sitting again, next to his Momma, no longer angry. Jasper was our very own relaxant.

"Any word?" Momma glanced my way. She knows I've been secretly keeping tabs on the wolves for any news. Everything's been quite even with Embry.

"No. But-"

My words disappear into the air and my body tensed as I caught a scent. Everyone looked behind me and I turned. I gasped and jumped to my feet. It was Axel. His brown hair was stiff on his head, his cheeks look hollow and his eyes looked sunken in. His eyes were dark the bags under them gave me the sign that he hasn't eaten, in awhile.

His chapped pale lips part as he scans the room. But I can visibly see the disappointment when he doesn't see the person he was looking for.

Where is she? He thinks looking directly at me.

He doesn't say anything else, at least not out loud. And neither do we. I think we're in shock to see him like ... this.

"Oh dear, what has happened?" Suddenly Grandma is all over him like a rash.

Grandpa steps beside her and gives a good look at Axel. He frowns in disapproval. "Son, tell us what happened." He demands softly.

"We smelled you," Grandma says. "But you're not alone."

Axel looks down at Grandma and nods. "Correct … mother. I'm not alone. I have some news. In my search I found something and I think it's wise to share it with the family." His voice is still soft as it was before.

"You need to eat." Grandpa scowls, like if correcting a young child.

Axel swallows and shakes his head. "No, I need to speak with Anna first."

We all tense. Grandma glances at us nervously as she rubs Axel's arm. Axel picks up on the silence and the lack of vampires in the house. The tired looking half-vampire in him disappeared and he looks bigger, angry and dominant even.

"Where is she?" His voice still soft but there is anger just underneath.

"Son," Grandpa starts gaining all of Axel's undivided attention. "Something happened. Annie ran. We tried-"

"She what?" Axel interrupted, his eyes blazing like two dark flames. "How did you let that happen? All of you? I trusted you!"

I wince and look at my hands. The guilt weighing in my chest. This was all mess.

"Axel, what is it?"

My ears perk at the unfamiliar female voice. My head whips up to find a girl, maybe around my age. She was small with pale skin, she had flaming red hair and green eyes; I noticed as she looks around the room sizing us up. Her features look soft and angel like. She's beautiful. I'm taken-aback when I watch her glare at us when she notices Axel's angered and sad expression.

"So these are the famous Cullens?" She arches a perfect brow.

"Axel, dear, who is this?" Grandma gives the girl a pleasant smile but she holds apprehension.

Axel looks around the room again before sighing heavily. "This is Lily." He looks over at my Grandparents. "My sister. Anna's sister."

The room falls silent.

"There's more," Axel confesses smoothly.

More?

His eyes fall on me. The two dark coals keeping me in my spot. The gaze passive and calm.

More siblings. Enough for an army. He thinks loudly for me to hear.

Annalise's POV

I felt like a new me. Like a woman. My eyes flutter open and I get lost in Embry's scorching, loving gaze. His large, warm, callous hand cuffs my cheek before leaning to give me a soft kiss. I loved him. So much.

"Are you ready?" He whispers. "Do you have everything?"

I glance around trying to see if I'm not forgetting anything. "It seems I have everything." My cheeks flush and i peek at him through my lashes. "Are you ready?"

He grins brightly. "I didn't bring any clothes."

My face reddens so much I might explode! "I know."

His long muscular arms circle my waist bring me in. "Oh, I know you do." He studies my face. "You're absolutely beautiful."

I smile and give him a chaste kiss. "Embry?"

"Hmm?"

"What's going to happen?"

His eyes study me for a moment. "What do you mean?"

"What's going to happen to us?" I clear my throat uncomfortably. "I mean …" I trail off.

He curls a finger under my chin until our eyes are leveled. "What is it?" He pauses as he stares at me. THe pad of his thumb traces the flesh on my cheek then over my bottom lip. "Talk to me Anna."

I shrug. "It's just … what we just did. I mean, we didn't wait and-" My lips close shut when i notice the frown forming on his beautiful face.

"Do you regret it?"

My eyes widen appalled. "No! Of course not." I swallow again gaining some courage. "I just don't want you to regret it. I mean, Embry, my family is freaking vampires with abilities- some of them read minds. We couldn't hide this even if we wanted to. My family will ..." I sigh. "Just whatever happens please don't give up on me."

This whole time Embry kept silent letting me ramble on. But at the end of my little speech, I notice his face soften and his gaze hooded in molten lava. His arms tighten his hold keeping me in place.

"Nothing will ever keep me away from you. Nothing. You are my life, my love and I will do everything in my power to always be by your side."

He crashes his lips to mind as if showing me once again how much I mean to him. I sigh in content when we separated.

"Do you think Nakoma knew this was going to happen when he send you, only you, to me?"

He snorts. "I hope not. But again, who knows. He's wise after all, being a century old and what not."

I chuckle. "Yeah." Then I fall silent. "What do you think will happen to Seth and Haylee?"

His shoulders slump and he lets out a tired exhale. His eyes look sad for his brother. "I don't know. But I find it strange that Nakoma said that once she accepted her eagle the bond will break. Seth keeps saying he feels it, that he still feels the bond, and it's soul shattering to see." Embry's eyes find mine and they blaze with complete sadness. "I know what it feels like. I once felt it too."

I gaze up at him and I wince. I thought I was living my own hell when I was kidnapped but so was he. My warrior wolf looked vulnerable every time we spoke of that time and I absolutely hated it. I hug him hard.

"I'm here. I'm here."

He rocks me back and forth accepting my hug. "I know. But while I knew I was going to get you back, where is his solace?"

There was a long pause.

"I don't know what I'll do if I ever lost you." He whispers out in anguish.

My heart tightens and I bite my lip to gain control of my emotions. "Back at you," I whisper.

He says nothing for a while, just stares at me. "Come." He suddenly says kissing my forehead tenderly before forming into his magnificent wolf.

A/N: Again I love the reviews. Thank you so much for being patient with me. I absolutely appreciated it. I'm trying to write this as best as I can.
