Annalise's POV

The wolves emerged from within the trees as we walked into La Push. The similarity of this place always brought peace and a sense of protection. It is why I begged Embry to bring here first. It was the one place I was safe from all Vampires, including my family; just for a while.

The wolves said nothing, well nothing to me but I saw the intensity as they looked at Embry's wolf. The expressions were one I came to familiarize with, they were mind-linking. Jacob's huge proud wolf stood a few feet away, and even in the distance he emanated so much power, his wolf, the Alpha, demanded it. His expressions always look severe and calculating as he watched us.

Embry bowed his head slightly in reverence to his Alpha but continue calmly towards the house with faded yellow walls, his house. I sighed in content it's another place of complete safety.

Once inside Embry shifted back took my hand and walked to his room. I practically had to run to match his long strides. He closed the door behind us and then suddenly gave me a look. I couldn't really decipher what that look meant but it kept sending shivers down my spine like an electric eel slithering down my body.

His large hand, cuffed my face and his thumb traced my lips. His hair was still wet as was his strong, tall, buff dominating, bare body. I watched as his eyes darken but he then took a deep breath and growled deeply.

I watched him wide-eyed not understanding him or my body who seemed to respond to his touch. Without removing his eyes from mine his index finger began to travel from my neck to my waist. I let out a breath to release some of the heat, the fire that had started within me.

"Arms up." He commanded. His voice gruff and thick.

I followed like an obedient soldier. I felt his large fingers take the hem of my shirt and start pulling off me. His eyes never moved from my face as he discarded the wet shirt somewhere on the floor. His body got closer to be as if transferring his body heat to mine. I shivered when his hands traveled to my back to unhook my bra. In a swift movement, it was discarded along with my shirt.

The callous skin on his hands took hold my wrist and brought my arms to my sides. With the locked eyes from brown to gray, he kneeled and made quick to remove my pants and panties. He gently picked a foot after another and discarded them as well creating a soggy pile on the floor.

And there I stood, just as bare as him.

He smiled mischievously and pecked my inner thigh. I gasped quietly at the feeling of his moist cold lips on my overheated skin. He rose up slowly and I shivered feeling his toned body rub on mine as he did.

My skin prickled and my core felt like liquid fire. I looked at him sheepishly knowing full well he could smell my want for him, I couldn't help it the memories of our recent action kept playing in a loop making my lower abdomen clench deliciously.

His nostrils flare and his breathing labored. I knew he had smelled it, and the male and wolf in him was starting to demand to take action and pleasure his Imprint. My heart was running a marathon as I waited almost impatiently.

I almost let out a whine when I watch him turn away from my flaming need. I felt my body sag a little as I watch him walk towards the drawers where I remembered he kept his pants and shirts. He opened the drawers harshly and fish out some pants and quickly put them on.

He turned and that's when I noticed a nicely folded clothes on his hands. He made a point not to look at my body but kept his eyes trained only on my face. I couldn't figure out what he was thinking or feeling, his expressions were changing, like the speed of light.

"Get dressed. I'll be outside. Jacob needs to speak with me."

He handed me the clothes carefully without looking down and I frown seeming disappointed. "Oh."

His brows crease in confusion at my reaction. "Just get ready sweetheart. By the tone Jake used with me it's not going to be a pretty conversation."

I look at him surprised. Jacob mad at him? Why?

"Did you do something wrong?"

He chuckles and grins. "Maybe."

I raise my eyebrows. "What?"

He said nothing but only gave me a sultry grin. I refrained from demanding the answer and instead I studied him. He didn't look worried or even fazed so whatever the problem was it couldn't be that bad. Maybe it was for not saying he found me or maybe ...

I inhale sharply. "Does he know … you know. What we did?"

"What, that we had sex?"

I gasp and hit his arm. "Don't say that out loud." I hiss.

He seems slightly amused and gives a peck on the lips. "Just get ready sweetheart. He want's to speak with you too."

I nod slowly not wanting to think about Jacob or the pack knowing what we did. As he turns to leave I take his hand and drag him towards me so quickly before he can do anything. And I kiss him. With everything in me. His response is just as aggressive, just as savage as I know his wolf demands him to be. Teeth clashing, lip biting, grunting, moaning ...

His hands release me almost unwillingly as he separates with his eyes still closed. Grunting his eyes flutter open and I'm surprised to see his brown gone but instead they have the steady color of lust. "Get dressed before I take you again. You do know all about quickies, don't you?" And with that he leaves closing the door behind him leaving me turning all shades of pink.

…..

The sweat pants fit me like a glove and that leaves me wondering if he secretly had some ready for me here. I fix my hair into a bun before taking my wet clothes and discarding them in the dirty clothes bin.

I open the door and stop when I notice Nessie. I'm confused to why I didn't smell her scent. Then I realized is that I could smell at the moment was Embry.

She was pacing back and forth in the living room. She looked tired, worried but still managed to look beautiful. Her bronze curls hung low by her hips; she had on tight jeans hugging her shapely legs and a blouse but there was something about her that made her look elegant in all she wore. She, dare I say, can even make a paper bag look expensive.

She sighed in relief when her big brown eyes found me. "Annie."

She gave me tight hug and returned it inhaling her familiar safe scent. "Nessie, what are you doing here?"

She gives me one last squeeze. "Annie, I was so scared. Please don't do that again."

I was floored when I saw her beautiful brown eyes pool. "Nessie. I was fine. I just needed time to think." I feel my chest tighten and my lip tremble. "I just … I didn't want to be there when the family disowned me."

She wipes the tears with the back of her hand and frowns. "Disowned you? Is that what you thought they'd do?"

"Nessie." I blink back the tears. "They know. I mean, Nakoma said that you all knew but I confessed to being the Vampire my parents, the whole Cullen family told me not to be. I failed them."

"You did not fail them. Look at me," She takes my head in her dainty hands and makes my eyes connect with hers. "You did not fail them, Annie. We failed you." Her eyes close briefly and when they open they're glossed with horrific memory of the past. "We failed, I failed, to protect you."

I shake my head freeing it from her hold. "I don't blame you for that shit. I don't blame nobody but him."

"And we don't blame you for what happened. You had to do what you had to do to survive and we are thankful that you remained strong through it all to return to us. You are a part of this family whether you like it or not."

"Thank you, Nessie."

She smiles brightly. "Anything for my baby Annie."

This time I let tears fall freely as I recall the nickname bringing tender memories to resurface. We hug again, I hug tighter feel lucky to have her as my family.

We separate when my world walks in. I can sense and smell him before I see him. I smile and my body awakens. My smile fades when I see a dark look on his face. Behind him walks in Jake, he doesn't bare the same look but his worry expression makes me all but worried. Jake steps around Embry and directly for Nessie. I watch as Nessie places a palm on his chest over his heart and they communicate silently staring into each other's eyes.

Embry's dark look, tight eyes and lips in firm line has my muscles looked and my body frigid. This isn't good. And after a moment of silence I look at all three.

"What happened?" I look at Embry specifically. "What is it?"

It frustrates me further when he says nothing. I all but want to punch him as a grow impatient. I clasp my lips shut from not wanting to regret a harsh move. Instead I find Nessie who is already looking at me.

Tell me what is going on. I think to her loudly and demanding.

Nessie shares it quick look at the males present and then she looks at me. "Axel is back."

I inhale sharply and beam as excitement feels my every pore. "My brother's back. Why didn't you say that from the beginning? This is wonderful news."

I can hardly wait to see him. He's been gone for so long it seems. He was someone who was with me every tortures step of the way. I've missed him dearly. I make quick steps towards the doors almost running towards it.

Suddenly Embry is standing in my way like a brick wall. I look up at him in confusion. "Embry, move. I want to see my brother."

"No."

I take a step back in shock at his tight hard voice. His expression never changed it still looked dark and even a little angry. My face tightens and frown.

"What do you mean 'no'?"

"You stay here." His voice is gruff and thick, his command leaving no space for argument.

I look at him in disbelief.

"Annie, it's not only you that can't go back." Nessie's voice brings me back from the fog I was beginning to feel.

I turn to look at her. "What do you mean?"

She nibbled at her bottom lip before sighing heavily. "Axel did not come alone. He brought a half-vampire with him, her name is Lily." She pauses. "Your sister."

"My … my sister?" My body numbs, my blood running cold in my veins.

"Apparently, your biological father wanted to create an army." She watched my reaction closely and I could feel Embry stand behind me his scent being the only thing calming me in this madness. "And he did."

My eyes bounce between hers trying to find the lie but I knew I'd find none. "Richard wanted to create an army? For what?"

"Axel doesn't know that whole story, it is why he summoned all of your other siblings. To see what they know."

My heart stops. "Wait, they're coming here?"

She nods. "Eight are already here."

"E-eight?" I stammer.

"That's why I can't have you going." Embry's voice startles me. I whip around to see him. "Axel explained how demented that fucker Richard was. He experimented on all of them, on you. Your family has agreed to let you and Nessie to stay here until we know for sure they aren't dangerous. They know you're safe here. You're safe with me."

"But … how …"

An Army. More Siblings. Experimented on, just like me.

"Annie, there is one more thing." Nessie approaches me gently. Again my body locks as if readying itself for impact. "They were all told about your existence and all eight present want to meet you."

"Nessie," Embry growls at her, in turn, Jakes growls strongly at him for disrespecting his Imprint. Embry, though, ignores him and glares at her. "I said no."

Nessie is not known to back down. "She has a right to know."

My stomach tightens and I swallow thickly. "I want to meet them."

Embry takes my arm and twirls me to meet his furious glare. "Are you crazy? I will not have you exposed to unnecessary danger!"

"Embry, release me," I command through a clenched jaw.

"Embry, what is wrong with you?" Nessie demands, stepping closer to us.

"Embry. Stop." Jacob's booming voice seems to have calmed Embry down … just a little.

Embry inhales and exhales loudly trying to calm himself down. "I can't have you in any sort of danger."

My small hand caresses his cheek lovingly. "As long as you're by my side I know I'm safe."

I turn to look at Nessie as she gasps loudly. Her face turns beet red and she steps farther away from us. When she catches my eye she turns away almost as if hiding.

"Nessie?"

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean too." She clears her throat. "I accidently read Embry's mind."

"Oh." My face mirrors hers and I can't even look at Jake standing closely to her.

"Well, now that you know I mated with Anna I can't lose her." Embry's words have me rooted to the floor in shock. He just willingly told her, and Jake and any other supernatural ear that is around the perimeter. "I can't bare the thought of losing her."

Nessie face looks like it's about to burst into flames, along with mine. She clears her throat once again and looks at him. "I understand. And nothing will harm her, not this time." Nessie smiles, her cheeks still red. "Annie rest up. I was told to inform Daddy about your decision and if it was yes they'll come here."

"Here?"

"Yes, Anna." Jake nods. "It'd be easier to protect you and Nessie here."

"Annie, sweetheart." Embry holds my face in his giant hands. He gently rubs the pad of his thumb over my cheek in a soothing motion. "Are you sure? You don't have too."

"I want too. It's not their fault we had a monster for a father."

Embry nods in understanding, though, I still saw that same resistance he held. He kissed me softly. I smile at him appreciating how amazing he is.

"I love you," I whisper.

His smile broadens like a child in a candy store. "I love you."

Nessie clears her throat jokingly loud. "Alright." she squeezes my shoulder and begins walking to the wooden door with Jake right behind her.

"Ah, Nessie." I say stopping her in her tracks. "Please, don't say anything about … you know what."

Her face reddens. "I'll try to keep the thought as far back in my mind so daddy won't see it."

Jake snorts. "One good look at Embry and he'll know."

Nessie slaps his arm and pulls him outside whispering rapidly to him. And the door closes behind them.
