Sibella and Winnie were dusting in one of the hallways in the castle. Sibella was dusting an iron maiden, and Winnie was dusting a skeleton chained to the wall. As they were dusting, Mario ran up to them.

"Sibella! Winnie!" He shouted, skidding to a halt by them. "Oh, thank goodness I-a found you! Look, we have to find-a the others and get out of here before midnight, which is-a when Revolta plans to revoltize you!" As Mario was talking, Sibella dusted his face. "I don't-a know what that is, but it can't be anything good!"

"We obey only Revolta." Both girls droned in a rather robotic tone of voice before returning to dusting. Mario's head landed in his hand.

"Mama Mia." Mario muttered. "What a revolting-a development this is." At that moment, Mario heard his brother crying for help.

"HEEEEEEELP!" Luigi's voice cried out.

"Luigi!" Mario shouted, running down the other direction. In another part of the castle, Toad, Matches, Booigi, and Professor E. Gadd heard Luigi's cry too.

"Luigi!" They all shouted, rushing off in the direction they heard the cry come from.

"HEEEEEEELP!" Luigi cried again.

"I'm-a coming, Luigi!" Mario shouted as he ran down the hall to where he heard his brother's voice.

"Stay strong, Luigi!" Toad shouted as he and the others ran to where they last heard Luigi's voice. "We're coming for you!"

"HEEEEEEELP!" Luigi cried out once more. Everyone ran through a door where they heard Luigi's voice come from. They all came to a stop inside a circular room with strange markings on the floor.

"I'm so glad you came to help your friend." The Grim Creeper's voice said from above them. Everyone looked up and saw The Grim Creeper dangling Luigi above them by the hose of his Poltergust 3000.

"Mario! Toad! Everyone! HEEEEEEELP!" Luigi shouted, clinging to the Poltergust 3000 hose for dear life. Mario got a steely look of determination and begun to pose like he was about to do some physical activity. Then he leaped up, landing on one of the walls of the circular room. He then kicked off the wall to the opposite one, wall-jumping his way up to The Grim Creeper.

"Oh, you want him back so much?" The Grim Creeper asked mockingly? "Well, here, take him!" The Grim Creeper then let go of Luigi, causing him to fall.

"YAAAAAHH!" Luigi screamed as he plummeted downwards. On his way down, Luigi hit Mario, causing him to mess up his trajectory and send them both falling back to the floor.

"Are you two alright?" Toad asked, concerned. Luigi got off Mario, who sat up.

"We're-a okay, Toad." Mario said, smiling reassuringly.

"You are now." The Grim Creeper said from above, getting their attention. "But let me change that." The Grim Creeper then pulled a lever he'd been holding the whole time. The floor below them then started opening up from the center, revealing it to be a trap door.

"Oh no." Luigi said, his voice shaking. He immediately got off Mario. Everyone backed up to the walls to try to keep from falling in, but it proved fruitless as the floor disappeared underneath them. They all collectively cried out as they fell down into the pit.

SPLASH!

To their surprise, they all found themselves submerged in water. Swimming to the surface, all their heads poked above the water, gasping for air.

"Water?" Mario asked, incredulously, looking down at the water they were all wading in. Toad looked back up at the Grim Creeper.

"Ha!" Toad laughed. "Is that the best you can do!? We're really great swimmers!"

"But so is the giant well dweller!" The Grim Creeper replied, pointing at the water. Everyone in the pit gained a look of dread on their face at this.

"Well dweller?" He asked, voice weak with fear. Luigi looked down into the dark water they were in.

"Uhh, guys?" Toad said, getting all their attention. He pointed at something in front of him. Following his finger, the others saw a spot where the surface of the water was bubbling.

"Oh no." Luigi squeaked, trying to back away. Shortly after, the massive purple dinosaur-esque head of the well dweller rose out of the water. Three eyes were attached to the top of the head by three stalks. The creature laughed menacingly as it moved towards them. Everyone in the water cried out in fear. Luigi swam to the wall nearest to him and attempted to scale it, hoping to escape. However, the walls were too smooth, and his hand to slick with sweat, to get more than maybe four feet above the water before he splashed down into the water. The well dweller rose above the six, it shadow looming over them all.

"P-p-professor?" Toad asked, shaking nervously. "Th-the Poltergust 3000 w-wouldn't happen t-to have an w-w-w-well dweller option, would it?"

"I'm afraid not, Toad." The professor answered. "I never took well dwellers into consideration when designing the Poltergust."

Booigi cackled something to Matches while pointing up at the Well Dweller.

"Yeah!" Matches said with a determined look on his face, then took a deep breath. He turned red and began to prepare to unleash a stream of fire. However, when he began to blow, a small fire burst out of his mouth, followed by clouds of smoke, before he completely sputtered out. He turned to Booigi and shrugged sadly at this development.

"Oh dear." Professor E. Gadd noted. "It would appear that the water from the well has doused Matches' flame." Luigi brought his hand up to his head.

"Oh great." He said. "This is-a just what we need."

The Well Dweller roared again and loomed over them, intent on eating them alive. Meanwhile, back at Calloway Military School, the Cadets were in their beds in the barracks, having a little conversation.

"Tuck, I can't sleep." One of them said.

"Me either." Another replied.

"I know." Tuck answered, sounding down. "I guess we should've helped look for those Grimwood girls."

"Affirmative" Jamal replied. "It's the Calloway Code to help ladies in distress."

"And they did get us outta that quicksand." Grunt chimed in. Getting a look of determination on his face, Tuck got out of bed.

"Well, don't just stand there, cadets!" He addressed them. "We're on a rescue mission!"

"Affirmative!" The other cadets answered, as ready for the mission as Tuck was. They all then immediately got out of bed and rushed off to get dressed. As they dressed, they started to discuss amongst themselves what to do.

"Alright, Cadets." Tuck addressed them. "We should not expect this to be easy. If they are being held hostage, their captors will likely have set up defenses."

"Affirmative." Jamal said, reaching for his jacket. "We may need to bring armaments if necessary."

"But where can we get some?" Miguelle asked. "Colonel Calloway says we're too young to handle actual weapons."

"Yeah." Grunt replied. "And any weapons he shows us are just for demonstration purposes."

"Don't worry." Tuck answered. "If we can't get any actual weaponry, we can improvise. We do it all the time."

"Affirmative" Jamal replied, now suited up.

"Alright." Tuck said, himself now fully suited up. "Miguelle, you and Grunt will acquire any form of ammo you find that you think will be sufficient for this mission."

"Affirmative." Miguelle said, saluting Tuck.

"Yeah, you can count on us." Grunt said, also saluting.

"Okay," Tuck addressed the cadets. "Now our next concern should be transportation. We may have to traverse a large amount of terrain in a short period of time."

"If that's the case," Miguelle spoke up "an air vehicle is our best choice."

"Good thinking, Miguelle!" Tuck said, smiling and pointing to him.

"Affirmative." Jamal said.

"If I remember correctly," Grunt chimed in "I think there was something down in the storage unit by the fence we could use. It's not much, but it should do what we need it to do."

"Sounds good, Grunt." Tuck said, pointing at him. "Once, we're all set, you lead us to it."

"Yes, sir." Grunt said.

"Ok." Tuck said, getting the others' attention once more. "Now that leaves one last bit of business. We all remember the direction we saw the Grimwood Girls fly in, right?"

Miguelle raised his hand. "I do!" He said.

"Good." Tuck said, pointing to Miguelle. "From there, we can try to determine a number of locations they may have been taken to."

"Right!" The Calloway Cadets all shouted in unison.

"Alright, cadets!" Tuck shouted. "Move out, on the double!"

"Yes, sir!" The cadets all said, saluting. Then they all ran off to their tasks. Once they were all complete, the Calloway Cadets were seated in a wooden skeleton of a miniature helicopter outside the academy's main building. Starting the copter up, the Calloway Cadets took to the sky and flew off back in the direction of Baron Bog.

Revolta was walking towards some unusual bowl-shaped pieces of headgear hanging from the ceiling by clear hoses. She was holding a stool in each of her four hands.

"Did you take care of that gym teacher and his friends?" Revolta asked the Grim Creeper, who was standing next to her.

"The well dweller will make quick work of them." The Grim Creeper answered.

"Good," Revolta said. "Now gather the girls. My potion is ready, and the midnight hour approaches." Revolta laughed evilly, thinking about making the Grimwood Girls her evil servants. Meanwhile, back in the well, the well dweller loomed over the five other people down there with it. Mario stood defiantly, ready to fight the beast. The Professor stood nervously, unsure of what to do next. Luigi huddled in fear, shivering. Toad stood stiff, looking up at the well dweller, shaking nervously. He then began frantically rooting through his pockets. He pulled out multiple objects, including a mircoscope, a couple of mushrooms, a model of a DNA construct, and a balloon, until he pulled out a white ball. He looked from the ball back up to the well dweller.

"I can't believe I'm about to do this." Toad thought to himself. "But what choice do I have? Let's just hope that it works." With no other option, Toad lifted the ball up so the well dweller could see it. "Uuh, h-h-hey there, b-b-big guy." Toad said, smiling and sweating nervously, not sure if his ploy would work. "W-wanna play ball?" The Well Dweller looked down at Toad. It noticed the ball in Toad's hand, and its mood seemed to change instantly, becoming happy and excited. Everyone else saw the change. They followed the Well Dweller's gaze, and saw Toad holding up the ball. Immediately, it clicked in their minds what Toad was trying. They looked at each other, each of them displaying an expression of uncertainty on their faces. However, they all then decided to give it a try. After a brief wind-up, Toad threw the ball. It passed by the Well Dweller, who followed it with its gaze. The ball proceeded to bounce around the upper walls of the well. It bounced back down towards Matches.

"Uhh, you're up, Matches." Toad said. Matches growled at the ball, and lobbed it back up as it came down towards him. Once again the Well Dweller watched the ball as it bounced up the walls. A smile appeared on the Well Dweller's face as the ball came down towards it, and it spiked the ball with its large claw when it was within reach.

"Good shot, Welly!" Toad said encouragingly as he dodged the ball.

"Umm, this is all well and-a good, Toad." Luigi nervously said as the ball flew past him. "But how is-a this going to help us get out of here?"

"Well," Toad said, watching the ball. "Maybe if we hit the ball high enough, we can get him to follow it up, with us on him." Sure enough, the ball came back down. "Mario, you got the strongest arm, right?" Toad asked.

"Yes." Mario said.

"Good, hit the ball as high as you can." Toad said. Mario looked up at the ball as it came back down. Getting to where the ball was falling, he wound up for a mighty strike. Soon, the ball was within striking distance.

"HI-YAAAH!" Mario shouted as he hit the ball with all his might, sending it soaring upward. The Well Dweller began climbing up the wall, chasing after the ball.

"Alright, everyone, grab on!" Toad shouted, leaping onto one of the Well Dweller's spines.

"Well Dweller-vator, going up!" Mario shouted as he grabbed hold. Right behind him, Luigi the Professor, and Matches grabbed on to more of the Well Dweller's spines as it ascended. Booigi floated upwards beside them. The ball soared out of the well and bounced off the ceiling, right into the Well Dweller's mouth as it poked its head out of the well. Immediately after, the five hangers-on leaped over the Well Dweller's head and out of the well.

"Thanks for the lift!" Toad shouted as he leaped over the Well Dweller and ran off down the hall. "Keep the ball!"

"Bye!" Mario shouted as he followed Toad's lead.

"Thanks for-a not eating us!" Luigi said as he did the same. Professor E. Gadd and Matches leaped out of the well over the Well Dweller's head soon after, following the others as they ran down the hall. Once they got far enough from the well, they all stopped. Mario heard a beeping from his Game Boy Horror and pulled it out. Looking at it, he saw the time and his eyes widened.

"Mama Mia!" He shouted. "It's-a almost midnight! We have to find-a the girls now, before they get revoltized!"

"But where could they be?" The professor asked. Luigi spoke up.

"I think I might-a know." He said. Everyone turned to him.

"You do?" E. Gadd asked.

"Where?" Toad asked.

"If-a they're going to be "revoltized", whatever that is, there's-a only one place I think they could be." Luigi then waved his hand in a "follow me" manner. "Come on, everyone." Luigi turned to go down the hallway, the others following soon after. Meanwhile, back in Revolta's room, her potion was ready. The girls were seated on wooden stools in a circle in the center of the room.

"Prepare the girls, Creeper." Revolta said, peering into her cauldron. "The potion is ready."

"Yes, Revolta." The Creeper said, fitting a metallic cap attached to a hose onto Phantasma's head.

"At the stroke of midnight, those girls will be revoltized." Revolta stated.

"How wretchedly revolting for them." The Creeper replied, fastening another cap onto Tanis' head. The Creeper and some bats on the ceiling cackled at this. The bats' cackling was picked up on a listening device that the Calloway Cadets were using to track the Grimwood Girls' location.

"I'm picking up bats." Said Miguelle, who was using the listening device.

"Any visual sighting?" asked Tuck as he pedaled the copter they were in.

"Negative." Miguelle answered. "Hold it!" He said, suddenly spotting something. "Sound emanating from that castle. Coordinates 30, 18, 52!" Jamal checked their map.

"Castle Revolta!" He said.

"Hang on, cadets!" Said Tuck. "We'll check it out!" He then began pedaling towards the castle. Meanwhile, Mario, Luigi, and Toad were pushing against a wall.

"Luigi?" Toad asked. "Are you sure this was how you got into Revolta's lair?"

"Y-yeah." Luigi grunted. "I-a did something to this wall, and it just turned around, and-a there I was, face-to-face with her."

"And-a, what exactly DID you to to make that happen?" Mario asked, still pushing. Luigi stopped pushing and looked up, an expression of realization and despair on his face.

"I... don't know." He said. He slowly turned around and leaned his back against the wall, sliding down it.

"Oh dear." The professor said, turning his head to look down the hallway. Due to his age, he wasn't pushing with the others. "We may have to find some other means of gaining access to Revolta's lair, then." Mario pulled out his Game Boy Horror and checked the time on it.

"There's no more time, it's-a midni-AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!" Mario shouted, for as he was checking the time, he continued to push against the wall. As he did, the wall swung open, sending Mario, Luigi, and Toad sliding down a chute, before the floor slid shut. The professor, Booigi, and Matches immediately noticed their absence.

"Oh my." The Professor said. "Where could they have gone to in such a hurry?" Booigi could only shrug.

"I don't know." Matches growled out, also shrugging.

(A/N: Sorry if this chapter seems a little long. I wanted to keep this fic at 20 chapters, and forgot about the bits with the Calloway Cadets. Anyway, we're in the home stretch now.)
