Chapter Four
Recap:
After dropping Flame Prince off, Fionna and Cake walked to their tree house. When they got there Fionna's mouth dropped open.
"Long time no see, Fionna."
"Wes?"
"Who else would it be?" Fionna smiled and ran to give him a hug.
"Eh-hem." Fionna turned to see Cake with her arms crossed.
"Oh, sorry. Where are my manners?" Fionna giggled, "Cake this is Wes, Wes this is Cake."
"Wes. Is that like a nickname?"
"Yes. My full name is Wesley, but people tend to call me Wes."
"Oh. Nice to meet you, Wes." Cake put out her paw and Wes shook it.
"Nice to meet you too."
"So, what are you doing here?" Fionna asked.
"I came back for you." Wes smiled.
...
"So you're saying that the portal that connects the Nightosphere and here is crumbling?" Fionna asked.
"Yes, and if we don't hurry all the demons will be released." Wes answered, "They'll kill every citizen in the Candy Kingdom!"
Fionna snapped her fingers, "That must be it!" She looked over at Cake, "We have to tell Gumball!" Cake nodded. "Sorry Wes, but this is really important." Fionna apologized as she jumped off the couch. "Let's go Cake!" Fionna yelled as she opened the door and walked out, only to bump into someone's chest. She looked up to come inches from Wes's face. She laughed akawardly, "Wes, I need to go through."
"I don't think so." He smirked and grabbed her wrist. "You aren't going anywhere. Fionna screamed as Wes turned into some kind of horrid creature. It had a mouth full of sharp teeth. His body was in shape, but he had blackish-green skin. He looked like a rotting corpse with sharp teeth. "You're mine." Cake rushed to help Fionna, but was no match. What was once Wes was now a horrid creature and it had its eyes on Fionna.
...
Fionna kicked and punched. Finally, she had managed to get free from the horrid creature. She ran to the Candy Kingdom with Wes right on her trail. She had just made it o Gumball's when it got her. "Let go!"
"No can do, Sweetheart." Wes growled.
"Wes." Fionna cried.
"He's gone." Fionna screamed as the creature kissed her neck before flashing its fangs.
...
"You know it sure is quiet today." A boy who appeared in his early adulthood commented.
"Sure is, son." His mother replied.
"Where's Wes?" He asked noticing the babbling fool was nowhere to be seen.
"In the human world."
"What?!"
"Yea. Had to go scare some girl." His mother brushed off.
"Who?"
"I can't remember. I'll tell you when I think of her name. He nodded and trudged off to his chambers.
...
"Fionna?!" Her son yelled, shocked as he sat straight up in his bed. It had finally come to his mother what her name was.
"Yea. You know her?"
"Psh. Never heard of her." He brushed off.
"Really?" His mother gave him a knowing look.
"Doesn't ring a bell."
"Wonder what your reaction would be if it did."
"Anyway, I need to go make sure he is killing her right." He said and raced to the portal.
Once he got to the human world he saw the blonde trying to get Wes off of her. He made sure not to be seen as he raced after Wes and grabbed him by the jacket and punched him right in the throat. As he left he gave Fionna a grin, showing off his fangs in the process. She gasped. "Marshall?"
"That's right, babe. Don't wear it out." He then jumped through the portal.
And Marshall has made his appearance! WOO! Anyway I recently overdosed so that through me off track. If you want to know more PM me. Also before Thanksgiving I quit cheerleading.
Anyway. I know this one is very short, but to make up for it the next chapter will be way longer. Promise.
