"Here you go Jiji. One successful mission." Izumi said about two months after she and her two sons graduated, tossing the Hokage a scroll for a B ranked mission. That was one upside to having two legendary Sannin teaching them, no shitty D ranks. Of course the first two weeks as a team was spent with getting Alphonse back into shape, teaching him and Edward the basics of being a ninja, and training Izumi like hell.
Before she graduated she could easily take down a couple of Chunin or a low ranked Jonin depending on their skills and the circumstances…with her grandparents training…she was definitely able to take out a Mid ranked Jonin now and had started learning the basics of healing if only to make herself more dangerous.
Out of the three of them, Edward was the heavy combat/long range assault team with his alchemy and the sealing arts that he was learning from Jirayai. Alphonse was the medic and defensive one with a few earth Jutsu's that Shizune taught him as well as the medical techniques that the two medics of the team were teaching him since he was more of a lover than a fighter. Izumi herself was the powerhouse of the team. She could do long range, close combat, toss how high powered Jutsu like they were party favors, swarm people with clones, and do basic first aid. Her control wasn't too bad considering how large her reserves were but she'd never be able to do the easier Illusions or Medical Jutsu's, all high powered ones which did come in handy.
"Well done Izumi-chan. Your teams payment will be delivered shortly." The Hokage said smiling fondly at the girl with the micro-dreads as he took a break from chewing out Team 7 due to Sasuke demanding a C-rank mission.
"Show more respect to Lord Hokage!" Iruka began to yell at Izumi who ignored him easily and inspected the other two teams in the office. Teams 7 and 8. Kurenai was smiling slightly at Izumi before glaring at Kakashi who was ignoring everything and everyone as he read his book, Hinata was by Kurenai's side nervously and gave Team Sannin as they were called a small wave. Kiba grinned and waved at the Uzumaki-Elrics, Shino nodded to them, Sai merely gave an emotionless smile, Sasuke glared, and Sakura…
"STOP TRYING TO LOOK COOL FOR SASUKE-KUN! HE'D NEVER BE INTRESTED IN YOU LIKE THAT YOU RED HAIRED FREAK!" Sakura screeched and you could almost hear a record scratch as KI flooded the room when Izumi's team and family came in behind her by less than a second.
"Keep screeching bitch, see what happens. If you insult our mother again I'll gut you like a fish." Edward growled clapping his hands and transforming his automail arm into a sword, although as far as Team 7 and the Genin of team 8 knew he had merely pulled it out of a seal in his arm.
"Brother no killing the other ninja! Just maiming!" Alphonse scolded although he shot Sakura blue eyed glares as well.
"That loud mouthed brat says one more thing about my granddaughter and her ass is going to be fertilizer in Training Ground 44." Tsunade said growling as she cracked her knuckles loudly.
"And if that stalker comes anywhere near my granddaughter I'll give him a free sex change, the hard way and without pain killers." Jirayai growled out as well as he glared at Sasuke who was pale and trembling under the KI.
"Of course I'd be happy to help." 'Aunt' Shizune as the Genin had taken to calling her said smiling sickenly sweetly while Tonton let out a nearly growled 'oink'.
"Say one more word. See what happens." Kurenai growled as her KI added to the others, her hands already forming the signs for one of her more…damaging Genjutsu. Her team was less than a second behind her, all getting into fighting stances as they stared at Sakura with cold eyes.
"ENOUGH! I do not need the Fourth Great War breaking out in my office due to one deluded fangirl!" Sarutobi yelled making everyone reluctantly stand down while Sakura was on the ground panting and nearly unconscious from all the KI.
"Tch. She's too weak to be a threat anyways, doesn't mean I like her talking shit about kaa-san." Ed said transforming the sword back to normal while making it look like he had been hiding it in his jacket sleeve or at least a seal on his jacket.
"Edward behave or else you'll be filing the entire teams reports again." Izumi said not looking bothered in the slightest while Ed shrugged slightly.
"Eh the paperwork is good training for my hand sign speed, makes it quicker and easier." Ed said causing Sasuke to look interested slightly.
"So paperwork makes you stronger hn?" Sasuke mattered quietly to himself, causing Kiba's ears to twitch as his heightened senses caught the quiet words. Kiba began snickering silently to himself, causing his team to look at him before he whispered what Sasuke said to them. Kurenai gave a small snort that she covered with a cough, Hinata hid her giggling behind her jacket sleeve, and Shino's high collar hid his amused smirk.
"So what's our next mission sensei?" Tsunade asked looking at Sarutobi who frowned and observed the teams in his office.
"Kurenai-chan, I understand that you're requesting another C-rank for your team correct?" Sarutobi asked making the woman straighten up and turn serious.
"Yes sir. My team handled the one two weeks ago with minimum difficulty and the training we've done between D-Ranks since then assures me that they are able to handle Mid C-Ranks with minor difficulty now." Kurenai reported causing Sasuke to fume at them having had a C-rank already while he hadn't.
"Hatake do you believe your Genin capable of a C-rank?" Sarutobi asked turning to Kakashi who didn't even look up from his book.
"Sure they could use the experience." Kakashi said not really answering the question and making Sasuke look smug as he shot a smirk at Team Sannin.
"Tsunade-chan, Jirayai-kun, do you think your team is ready for another C-rank mission immediately?" Sarutobi asked looking at his former students who snorted.
"Oh please sensei, give the brat's some credit. With the Al's medic/defensive jutsu, Ed having a hair trigger temper that can be pointed at any enemies and an explosive arsenal to match, and Izumi taking the term one woman army to a whole new level they could probably handle another low B-rank in about ten minutes." Tsunade said patting each of her brats on the head fondly. Team 8 didn't look surprised… Team 7 looked shocked and/or furious.
"Alright I have a mid-level C-rank but it'll be a joint mission between your three teams, giving you all more experience with the outside world and with working with ninja not on your teams." Sarutobi said puffing on his pipe and making the Sannin and Kurenai nod in understanding while Kakashi frowned and Sasuke looked murderous.
Sarutobi looked over at Iruka and gave an order that would alter the future a bit.
"Send in Tazuna."
