Hey~ What's up?
It's been a while.. like a short while not long, totally not long. Feels like yesterday since I last updated, so was not long. It was just like right there, like what, 7 months or something like that...?
*Ahem* Okay, I'm sorry, I really am but seriously, school is like sooo moody these days. I mean first it'll be a few free periods or like half a day of 'em and the next it's like you're in the middle of a storm...

But, but.. I have a hopefully deliciously long chapter for you~

Enjoy~~!

"W-What?" Yamamoto asked as Hayato's face rested just a few inches from his.

"How are you part of the mafia's most notorious family?" She repeated.

"Um.. W-What are you talking about?" Right now, he could hardly hear the conversation over the quite close proximity and the quickened beating of his heart.

"Don't play dumb. I'm asking you, how the hell are you acquainted with the infamous; Vongola. More specifically, the rain guardian of it." Her words and expression laced with seriousness.

"Uhh.." He swallowed. "I.. I don't.."

Hayato ducked her head and before Yamamoto had the time to breathe a sigh of relief, he felt something slip into his right, front jeans pocket.

He swore he could've died right then and there.

"Um.. G-Gok-Gokudera?" He can feel the blood spiking throughout his body. He did his best to remain as still as he can be.

What seemed like forever but merely was a minute, Hayato retreated her hand from the pocket and held something to his face.

It took a while for Yamamoto to process what it was.

A ring. His ring.

The ring had a small rectangular blue gem in it with a symbol on top and a water drop right under held together by a silver band. Right under the drop from the band stretched a strip of it across with the word 'Vongola' engraved in it.

"That-That's.."

"The Vongola's rain guardian's ring." Came a pitched voice from the right side, to the window of the living room where a baby in a suit and fedora stood. "Rightfully given to the Vongola's rain guardian." He continued as he walked closer, hopping on the coffee table.

Hayato looked at Reborn for a bit to pieced together it all. "So,"

Reborn nodded his head. "Gokudera Hayato, meet Yamamoto Takeshi. The Rain Guardian and left hand man of Vongola. The, as you know, most notorious Mafia family."

"Why didn't you tell me this before?" She exclaimed to Reborn feeling just a bit irritated at being kept in the dark about something such as this.

Reborn just shrugged.

"Wait." Hayato spoke as something dawned on her, raising the irritation she felt a bit higher. "This whole tutor thing.. were you using me to train him?"

Reborn answered the question with a casual nod as if an everyday question.

"Are you kidding me?" She started, her voice raising with her anger.

"It's simply that I had no extra time so, I thought it was great use to have you do it. And it was." He brushed her off.

"I can't believe you." She irritatingly muttered then abruptly turned to Yamamoto. "Did you know about this?" She asked but was only answered with a jerk and a lost 'Huh?'.

Hayato raised an eyebrow. She had leaned back into the couch since a while now.

"It seems that Yamamoto has been staring at you for awhile now." Reborn commented with a bit of a smirk.

Hayato turned to Reborn then back to Yamamoto. She sighed.

"It's that big of a deal that I'm a girl?" She asked exasperatedly.

Yamamoto finally caught himself. "Oh, uh, no.. just..-"

"Just?" She raised an eyebrow.

"Well... Um.."

"If you have something to say then say it." Hayato continued already impatient.

"It's-" He stopped abruptly, eyes widening as he did so as if something clicked in him.

"I'm not gay." He muttered but was caught by all occupants within the room.

"What?" Obviously taken aback, Hayato countered.

"I'm not gay!" He this time recited, a smile attacking his lips.

"What the hell are you talking about?" She said, now reaching the point of pissed off.

God, she could just feel her fist inching closer and closer to the urge of launching it at the apparently heterosexual recited guy.

"Oh, um.. I.. I don't know." He said, trying to sound as 'true' to his reply as possible.

Hayato grunted and threw the ring to Yamamoto, which he caught. "Whatever." She said and walked off to her room, slamming the door behind her.

"Haha, she seems mad." Yamamoto nervously commented, shoving the ring back into his pocket. "But," His tone took on a serious timbre. I thought we weren't supposed to tell Gokudera about this since she would be in danger if she knew."

"Yamamoto, what happened before you came here?"

"Eh?" He continued despite being caught off. "Well, um..a-a lot.. actually.."

Reborn raised his eyebrow, indirectly pushing for him to continue into what exactly.

"Well..." He started.

"But Gokudera really surprised me! Did you know she carries weapons? Eh?" Yamamoto stopped, realising something. "Wait, aren't you surprised Gokudera's a girl?"

"No." He curtly replied.

"Haha, I guess you must've known, huh?"

"Of course." Reborn watched Yamamoto intently for a quick while before talking again. "What do you think of Gokudera?" He asked, his eyes close on him.

"Hm?" He started, striking a thinking pose. "She's the coolest girl I've ever met!" He said happily.

Reborn sighed. 'Still dense as ever.'

Figuring he'll soon find out about Hayato, Reborn let the conversation go.

Just then, Hayato walked out in casual clothing.

"You should head back to camp." She said heading to the kitchen.

"Huh? But what about you?" Yamamoto asked.

"I'm staying."

"But-"

"Staying." Hayato immediately injected. "Now go, before I kick you out, literally."

"Haha, okay okay!" He replied, holding his hands in a surrendering motion. "I'm going."

As Yamamoto exited the apartment, Hayato turned her attention to the baby on her table.

"And you?" She asked. Reborn chucked a small black box to her which she caught.

Hayato glanced at him. "The deal." She looked back to the box in her right hand.

Opening it she was met with a small silver band. "A ring." She commented and examined it. "Original." It was a basic ring, like she had seen in a couple of cases and the few times she's ever worn it. A bright colored sun mark engraved in the inner ring of it.

An accessory that holds sun flames to heal whomever wears it. There are various shape, sizes and accessories it comes in, as long as it hold the sun properties to heal.

In order for it to work, the wearer has to extricate the flames from the ring and channel it into whichever part/area in their body to heal.

"It's all about the originality these days." A small smirk came across his face.

"That may be true."

"You know how it works, so I'm off. Tsuna should be home in a few minutes."

With that, Reborn left. Of course, through the window.

She looked at the ring.

Rain represents tranquillity. Having Yamamoto carelessly spill his flames soothes the person in that area. Well, maybe not really soothe them that much but more like diminishing their guard or defenses or senses. They may not be completely relaxed but their reflexes will be. Though Hayato has observed something about that.

It seemed to be only effective on her. Everyone else are their normal state. So why only her?

She sighed and dropped the subject for now...

Well, Yamamoto's gone so it's not like she needs it now. She rested the ring on the coffee table and headed for the kitchen. She was pretty hungry.

Yamamoto stopped short in his tracks.

He still couldn't believe Gokudera was a girl. It wasn't like a big change to him, just surprising. Very surprising.

Well he didn't know her that well anyway so it wasn't like a brick-hitter.

Okay maybe it kinda was.

He continued on again.

'It's not gonna be much fun at the camp without Gokudera..' Yamamoto pouted. He found spending time with the other much more entertaining.

But if he stays back with her, she'll get mad.

Yamamoto whined then brightened as something came to him.

'I'll just ask her when she'd be coming back!'

Turning on his heel, Yamamoto made back for Gokudera's apartment.

Hayato took the bread from the counter and a plate and a glass.

Just before she she set the glass on the table with the others, a tingle went through her almost causing her to drop it in surprise at the unexpected feeling.

A slight numbness entered her senses.

She of course knew the feeling. It's been so persistent ever since she came to this town.

She sighed. She instantly knew he was returning. She headed our of the kitchen for the ring seated on the coffee table.

As she stepped out of the kitchen, she was tugged back.

Both her hands was pulled back into quite a grip and an arm was swiftly snaked around her neck. Both its arm and hand locked her in place. Tightly.

"You've gotten soft, Hayato." She froze.

She knew that voice.

She swiftly spun, freeing her hand and aiming it to his neck.

Well, tried.

Before she could connect her hand, the other grabbed hold of her wrist, preventing her from moving it.

The intruder then round her waist with his arm and as he held her wrists in his right hand, he pulled her close.

A guy, possibly the same age as Hayato, black hair, grey eyes stared right back to her with a mischievous grin.

Just about two inches taller than Hayato and with a bit of a muscular build, the guy tightened his grip on her.

"What the hell do you want, Giorgione." She spat to him.

"Oh my Hayato. Fiery as always."

"Last time I checked I wasn't yours. Now how the hell did you find me." She tried pulling away but to no avail.

"Last time I checked you weren't this weak. Things change. And though it was a challenge finding you or finding you out I should say, we managed to. And boy was it a shock."

"So.. You guys do know." Hayato said with dread in her words.

"Yup. Your little secret's busted kitten." He smirked.

"How the hell did you people find out anyway?" Instead she forced herself back and was able to free one hand and immediately used it, pushing from him, trying again to free her body and brought her knee up to in-between his legs.

But he acted before. Giorgione pushed her out and grabbed her free hand, spun her and pulled both her hands behind her back, locking her again into a tight hold while tugging on hers arms to keel her back.

"Are you even playing fair here?" He questioned, a bit of an offended tone in there. "The Hayato I remember would take me down within seconds. And you couldn't have possibly gotten softer within just a few hours considering I was there when you were reunited with Uncle. Though you were weaker in that situation than I've seen you in before."

'Well if it wasn't for that stupid idiot being there.'

"You don't know anything." She said through the pain.

Yamamoto stopped short as he was just about to knock when he heard voices through the door.

"Au contraire," He leaned in to her ear. "I know everything, now."

"Sure." She replied sarcastically.

"You always doubt me." He said, irritation peeking into his tone.

"Because I know you. And I know you're nothing more than a spoiled, useless idiot that obsesses over control." Hayato's breath hitched as he tightened his grip and pulled on her hands harder, his temper rolling a bit off.

"Would a useless idiot be able to pin Gokudera Hayato also known as 'Smokin' Bomb Hayato' and exclusively as 'The Red Tiger'?"

'Red Tiger? Smoking Bomb?' Yamamoto unknowingly pressed his ear to the door, curious as to what was going on, wondering if he should interrupt or not.

"I'm actually surprised this was so easy. I had back-up crowding this entire complex, unseen, in case you got away from me. But I had not been expecting such an easy capture. I thought by the time I was on the stairway, you'd be ready to attack." The man chuckled. "Boy was I wrong."

'Capture?' Yamamoto thought.

"Tell me something. How did you, The Red Tiger, go from taking down one of the powerful drug dealers to not even being able to escape from having your wrists locked behind your back?

'Eh?' Yamamoto blinked in surprise.

"Why do I feel as though you're bullshitting me?" He said, anger beginning to lace his words.

"Why does my father still want me anyway. You should be a suitable fit by yourself, even if you're not family." She grunted from the slight pain and changing the subject, but wondering what the hell that idiot was doing? He probably came back to talk to Etsuko. "He already wants you to officially take over. I'm pretty sure with a couple of arrangements, it shouldn't be a problem."

Hayato glanced a little to the side and almost groaned. The ring was so close, yet so far, out of reach.

Yamamoto was getting confused now. What were they talking about?

"Your father still wants to carry on with the usual plan whether you like it or not."

"And who said I-"

"'Upon reaching the age of eighteen, Hayato Gokudera is obligated to marry Giorgione Fraticelli and where the groom shall take over Rocca Gokudera in stead of his family...' You agreed. You signed that 80 paged contract and you are to fulfil it." Venom was now being injected into his tone.

'Huh?' Yamamoto stared in shock to the door.

"I was forced and I was nine for crying out loud. I had no say in the matter." Hayato's breath hitched as he pulled fiercer on her wrists, her shoulder wound now taking some force.

"All kids are. The only difference with me is that I actually want it and I'll be damned if you screw it up for me. But still, what makes you think you can escape when many couldn't?"

"Because I can." Hayato gasped when he pulled harder, now feeling her once healing wound tearing apart bit by bit.

"Don't be so conceited. You think you have the strength to escape from a contract that deals with the price of having men from both families chase you and you can't even escape this simple situation? Ha! You really are a joke now. But I'll let you in on a little something. Maybe it'll even knock some sense into you to who you're opposing. A few months ago we sent a number of men after you. It took quite a while to find you indeed but just a little while ago we found you and with a very juicy story. Our Gokudera Hayato, hiding behind the mask known as the number one assassin."

'Assassin?!' It hit Yamamoto just then of the names mentioned. 'The Red Tiger', 'Smokin' Bomb Hayato', he probably should've guessed the last one but he remembered Reborn talking to them about some of the well known people in the mafia.

"Not only that but apparently playing hookie with the rain guardian of Vongola. What? Looking for someone to save you then run off into your lives together?" He pulled harder eliciting an audible gasp from the other.

Yamamoto's attention grew harder when even he heard the gasp from Hayato.

"Don't kid yourself."

During the whole rant, Hayato keep gathered all her strength, as much as she had, and waited for the right moment to strike. That, she decided, being now.

"Stop with the game-SHIT!" He yelled as Hayato pulled her head as much as she could forward then launched it back to the other's face. Immediately having the chance, she spun and delivered a kick to his ribcage, sending him back.

Instantly she turned, heading for the coffee table for the ring but stopped short when a trigger hammer sounded off.

She was just right above the table.

One little reach and she's got it.

But she knew, one move could be a bad one.

Slowly she turned back to him but was barely able to catch sight of Giorgione when his leg came swiftly flying to her right side, knocking her down.

Turning her attention to him once again, Hayato was faced with the barrel of a single action revolver.

"You do realise that I just need to bring you back alive. No one would mind if you're wheeled down that isle and I have no more reason to keep you after I'm the head of the family so I don't care-" He stopped and stared at her with a confused expression. He then moved into a thinking one as if trying to remember something and shook it off soon after. "Whatever. You pissed me off enough so I just need something to keep me grounded for now."

Giorgione aimed the weapon to her right forearm.

Hayato grunted under her breath as she chanced a secret glance to the ring on the table. She looked back at the other, watching as a sly smile slicked on.

She clenched her teeth as she felt her head still woozy and fuzzy.

It looked as though he was taking pleasure in this little encounter. And he was going to do as much as he could to his heart's content.

She closed her eyes.

BANG!

CLASH!

Hayato's eyes shot open. They widened.

Before her, posed a rich and shining blade, it's brilliance showing itself as the sunlight from the windows bounced on it.

She followed the blade up the length, to the guard, the hilt, the hands that wielded it, the body of them and the face directed to Giorgione with seriousness, strength, confidence and conviction for what his body spoke, his intent in protection for her. Him being Yamamoto Takeshi.

A deathly smile graced his lips and Hayato looked at it with surprise. A smile full of malice and of promise yet with such elegance. She winced as the fuzziness in her mind strengthened.

"I would rather you don't hurt my friend here." Yamamoto spoke.

Giorgione snapped out of his shock with that.

"What? A forming Bonnie and Clyde now?" He chuckled before his face returned to it's seriousness. "This has nothing to do with you."

"Now it does." Yamamoto replied.

Hayato used this chance, slowly and sneakingly moving a bit to the table to reach over. Giorgione snapped his head across to her from the movement and in that instant, she grabbed the ring, feeling a shock-like buzz run through her as her mind returned to it clear state.

"What did you just do?" He asked looking cautiously to her.

Yamamoto looked to her, curious also, and gasped.

"Nothing." Hayato subtly covered her right hand with the other after slipping the ring to her left hand. "Nothing you know of anyway." Slowly, she slipped the ring on her right hand's middle finger. "But you're welcome to try to figure it out."

Giorgione gritted his teeth and tightened his grip on the gun. He hated whenever she had a confident or smug attitude. It pissed him off but it also said that she knew she could take down her opponent. His tight grip loosened and he began to chuckle.

Yamamoto tore his focus from Hayato and looked to the guy in front of him.

His chuckles turned into small laughs and Hayato watched him closely.

"What?" She called, a bit of irritation in her voice.

"I don't have time to play villain in some partnered fight. Your father wants you as soon as possible. Doesn't matter if your injured. As long as you're alive." Without a second to spare Giorgione pulled the trigger of the gun that was aimed to Hayato's right leg.

Knowing he was about to pull the trigger, Hayato dashed from the moment he finished his sentence, leaving a bullet lodged in her previous spot.

Before Giorgione knew it, Hayato reached for something on the coffee table and just as he was about to fire another shot, she moved. Next thing he knew, she was behind him was a dagger to his neck.

"Drop it." She ordered aloofly.

Giorgione slowly raised his hands in a surrendering motion and dropped the gun from his hand, trying to refrain from gulping in order to keep at least some of his pride intact.

Hayato jumped as he released the gun and it hit the ground with a thud. "You don't drop a gun that's been recently fired! It could go off!" She scolded.

Looking to the side, she saw Yamamoto with a stupefied, surprised expression directed to her. She sighed. "Yamamoto." At the call, Yamamoto broke out of his trance and looked to her. "Pick up the gun." She said.

Yamamoto looked to the gun and after a pause, he hesitantly went to it.

Seeing the guy's, a few months older than her, uncertainty about the weapon in front of him caused her to roll her eyes. "Hey." She called once more. He turned as he was right in front of it. "Just kick it to me." She exasperatedly said.

He looked from her to the gun then back to her. Sticking out his foot a little, he did as she said, kicking it to her.

Hayato stopped it with her foot.

She lifted her right leg, the one that's on the gun and kneed Giorgione in the back of his knee, causing him to stoop from the imbalance. Hayato followed and picked up the gun. As she was about to move up, Giorgione grabbed her hand holding the knife and pulled her over his shoulder, causing her to fall flat on her back. With that, he used the chance to escape.

Yamamoto let him go as he went over to Hayato, sticking a hand out. "Are you okay?" He asked, concern evident in both his voice and face.

Hayato looked at the hand as she propped herself up on her elbows. She stuck her hand to meet his and grabbed as he did the same.

Yamamoto pulled the other on her feet.

"I'm fine." Hayato grunted as she was pulled straight.

Yamamoto had a worrying look on his face. One filled with panic then changing to determination. "Gokudera, take off your shirt."

Hayato looked at him with shock then a pissed expression. "What?" She spat.

"I'll help."

"With what?" She suspiciously and venomously asked.

"Your arm." He replied surprised. "You didn't know?"

Hayato looked down at her shoulder and saw red. She realized there were a few trails going down too but stopping just by her elbow.

Her wound.

Hayato remembered when Giorgione pulled so hard on her hand, she felt a stinging, prickling and tearing pain.

Her would had re-opened but there wasn't much blood loss though the wound's area was completely red.

But it wasn't as painful as it should be nor was she weary.

Hayato look down to the ring. Pretty good. And the wounds probably healing. But she needs to ease down the amount being used. Sure there's a significant amount of power in there but with a wound like that and clearing her muddled brain, it'll probably be sucked clean halfway into the day.

Coming to her senses, Hayato felt a sting where her wound was. Looking down, she saw a hand on it. Following the hand to Yamamoto. "It's fine." She said.

"But it's still bleeding." Yamamoto argued. To him, she was taking to long to decide and so he took the initiative. He had to stop the bleeding. He was cautious when walking to her, knowing she might do something probably painful in defense, so when he took hold of her arm, he was kind of surpised she didn't put up some form of a protest. It was there at that moment that he remembered her bleeding in that same spot just earlier and flinched, unconsciously tightening his hold on her wound, thinking of how much blood she lost and how much more she's probably going to if the wound isn't patched soon. There he felt a hand rest on his, trying to forcibly push his away then the voice of the other.

"No, it's not."

"Eh?" Yamamoto asked confused and surprised, loosening his grip enough for Hayato to remove his hand. Yamamoto looked down and noticed there was barely any blood on his palm where if her arm was still bleeding, he would have much more.

Hayato stared at the gun in her hand, a pondering expression on her before she locked the gun and stuck it in her boot.

Stooping down and grabbing the dagger she released as she was thrown she threw it back on her coffee table.

"Eh? Where are you going?" Yamamoto asked as her saw Hayato heading for her front door.

Hayato turned back to him. "I'm going after that guy." She said after a while.

"Alone?"

"Yes." She replied. "And no you cannot come with me. You're supposed to be back at the camp. Imagine what they would think when they realize you're gone." She added. She sighed. He was becoming way to predictable to her now.

"But they'll think the same with you and you can't go alone."

As Hayato was about to retort, Yamamoto interrupted, a determined expression sternly held in him.

"I'm going with you." He firmly spoke. His tone held no room for objections.

Hayato looked at him a bit surprised, off-guard, and glued as the other strictly held her down with conviction-filled eyes.

Ripping her gaze from the other, Hayato sighed. He was really starting to be a pain in the ass, more so than before.

"Fine." She gave in. "But one stupid stunt and I take you out." She warned.

A brilliant smile stretched across Yamamoto's face. "Deal!"

Hayato growled. God, she wanted to punch him.

Yamamoto and Hayato walked into the warehouse they were in earlier.

"Why are we here?" He asked as he followed the other through the old building.

"Because." She stated.

Yamamoto took the other not wanting to go on and turned to his surroundings. Passing the main room where they encountered the men, Yamamoto saw the gaping hole in the side where Hayato exploded for their escape.

Turning back to the front, Yamamoto realized the other was no longer in the room. About to call out for her, Hayato emerged out from a door to the left of him.

"Alright, let's go." She said and walked past the other.

"Huh?" He asked confusedly.

"Are you coming or not?"

"Oh, yeah." Still confused, he followed. Why did they come here then?

Hayato had a couple weapons stored in that warehouse that would be useful for what she knew was about to happen.

Honestly, she knew she would be better off by herself instead of babysitting again and in a tense situation.

She grumbled as she entered the room to her left.

Then again, he did save her back there...Great, now she owed the idiot a favour.

She scanned the room that held a bed, a dresser and an office table.

She stopped, eyes stuck on the table.

'That guy...'

Honestly, he's been having too much of an effect on her. Aside from him leaking his flames... Her mind wondered to earlier.

/"I'm going with you."/

His eyes.. His voice.. His stare.. And even his tone.. She was shocked at the effect it had on her.. No one and/or nothing ever made that kind of impression on her and honestly, she had no idea what to do or make of it.

Sighing, Hayato shook her head and made for the desk. She roamed her hands underneath the top until a click was heard. She then grasped the front edge of the table and pulled it up and over, revealing an assortment of firearms, weaponry.

She filed through and picked what she needed, hiding them away throughout her body and locking the lid of the desk back in place.

She sighed again thinking back to her earlier thoughts.

She didn't understand at all. She felt no fear, nor was it intentionally fearsome as she believed, and it wasn't said in a superior tone, just a firm and justly held one. But the thing that startled her almost as much as it was, was the fact she found it.. exciting.. yet exhausting at the same time..

She just couldn't understand it at all.

As they exited the warehouse, Hayato ignored Yamamoto's "What next?" and observed her surroundings with a detailed eye.

Yamamoto looked confusedly at her. "Um.. Gokudera?" He asked as he saw the other glance around. "What wrong?"

Abruptly, she turned to him. "Stay." She said with a stern gesture of her finger.

"Eh? Why?" Paying no attention to the other, Hayato walked around the corner of the building.

Five minutes later, Hayato reappeared on the opposite side she came from.

"Come on." She said and walked back around to the back.

"Huh?" A couple seconds later, he caught up to the other. "Where are we going? And why did you circle the building?" He asked.

"Looking for clues as to where to find that guy other than the ones that were in front."

"Then why didn't we take the ones from the front?"

"Because those are too obvious." She replied to his questions calmly.

"But didn't Etsuko come from there? Maybe we should go back for Yuko. Etsuko did say she was being held by some people. We should go help her before anything bad really-"

"We will." Hayato interrupted. If what she's thinking is true, Yuko would most likely be at the end of this trail and she would undoubtedly find Giorgione along with her.

They walked in silence soon after, Yamamoto sneaking glances to Hayato and back to the path

before him while Hayato tried to focus on the area around her.

"Um.. Gokudera?" Yamamoto started.

"What?" She answered without taking her eyes off her path.

"What did that guy mean by 'contract'?"

Hayato stopped and faced the other as he did also. She looked on into his eyes, only finding genuine curiosity and something resembling concern as he stared back at her, searching for answers.

Hayato sighed.

"How much did you hear?"

"Somewhere around "obsesses over control". He replied unfazed.

Hayato meet her eyes with the other's again, something.. sincere resting in hers.

"I would rather you not ask about it."

Yamamoto's expression softened and a small smile came on. "Sure. I was just curious." She saw him release a breath. "Come on. If we wanna get there early we better go right?" He said and walked on.

Hayato looked at the back of the other, her hand moving to her chest as she averted her eyes.

'What is this?' She wondered, trying to identify the feeling.

Taking a deep breath, Hayato moved on, dropping the subject for now and eventually catching up with the other as he walked in a slow pace.

"Oh!" Yamamoto exclaimed as an idea popped in his head, startling Hayato a bit. "Let's share stories to pass time!"

Hayato grunted, the feeling now gone and replaced with growing annoyance.

While Yamamoto kept on rambling about something she could care oh so less about throughout the walk, Hayato saw something much resembling another warehouse even from the distance as it looked minimized. She stopped and held out her arm to her side, effectively bringing the other to a halt.

"What's wrong?" He asked.

Hayato looked to the array of guys standing guard most likely around the entire perimeter.

Yamamoto followed Hayato's line of vision, eyes widening a bit.

"Are we going in there?" He asked.

"Hopefully." Hayato looked around. "Come on." She said, turning right and moving forward. "Let's check the back."

Two men were stationed beside a double door entrance, sunglasses shielding their eyes while their bodies moved not one inch.

"Alright," She started, leaving her eyes on the back side of the large warehouse. "I'll be back in an hour, two at mo-"

"I came to help!" He complained and Hayato was glad they were far enough so they wouldn't be heard.

"Yamamoto-"

"You can't go in there alone, it's too dangerous. What if you got captured? What if you got badly injured and I'm just waiting outside here? Or what if the worst happens?" Hayato sighed and looked on with exasperation. "If I'm there I could be able to help you and we could make it through and it would be a whole lot easier. Teamwork always wins in the end and if we-"

"Fine." She interrupted.

Yamamoto blinked. "Eh? Oh. I though it would take a lot more to convince you." He said.

"I wouldn't be able to take much more" She grumbled. Honestly, this guy just takes the fight right out of her. She sighed. "You think you can take one of 'em?" She asked gesturing towards the men.

"Yup!" He exclaimed brightly.

Hayato rolled her eyes. It was like dealing with a child. "Alright. Here's what we're gonna do."
