Well, after this chapter, I'll be back on updating my other stories. As I said in the last chapter, this will show Teikoku's training and their fight against Caribbean Junior High, that team that played against Zeus in the semi-finals. Well, enjoy!
Chapter 2: The New Teikoku
For the past week, it's been torture for the Teikoku Eleven. Their new coach, Kakashi Hatake, may be lazy, but he was a slave driver. After wearing the weights, he made them run five times around the entire school.
After that, they practiced their Hissatsu techniques on each other. They tried to get passed their defense, stop their offense and improve their techniques. And Kakashi was mostly focus on their teamwork, making them do drills and combo plays.
Fudou was also a great addition to the team, matching Kidou's strategic mind. The two of them along with Naruto were able to create a lot of tactics for both defense and offense.
They were annoyed at their coach's constant lateness and his lame excuses. The second day of their training, he told them to meet at the field and they waited for two hours. When he arrived, they asked why he was late, he replied that he said that a black cat crossed his path and he had to go the other way to avoid getting cursed.
The next day, when he was late again, he said that he was kidnapped by an alien and he fought his way back to Earth.
He was also reading those strange orange books that made him blush and giggle, much to their confusion.
Meanwhile, Genda and Sakuma were able to train again, though they were doing light exercise to avoid aggravating their injuries. They commented that Haku and Hinata were great at taking care of them, much to the girls' embarrassment.
The only rest day that they had was when Raimon went against Senbayama, a team famous for their never losing a goal with their famous Infinite Wall, a three person Hissatsu technique. At first, Raimon had a hard time trying get a goal, but thanks to their new teammate, boy named Ichinose Kazuya, they managed to break through the Infinite Wall with Tri-Pegasus that was used by Ichinose, Domon Asuka and Endou, breaking Senbayama's record.
Naruto grinned when he saw that shot. He really can't wait to face Raimon in the finals.
Today, they were in their locker room, getting ready to face against their second opponents, Caribbean Junior High, the Pirates of Soccer. Naruto tightened his gloves as Kakashi entered the room along with their managers.
"Coach Kakashi!" they exclaimed, surprised to see him on time for once. "You're actually on time!"
"Why wouldn't I be?" Kakashi said with a raised eyebrow.
"Well, you're never on time," Naruto commented, causing them to nod.
"You're always late by two hours," Kidou added, causing everyone to nod again. This made Kakashi sweat dropped.
"I'm not that bad," Kakashi said.
"It's believe that you'll be late for your own funeral," Ino said, holding her laptop.
Kakashi slumped his shoulders at his team's disrespect for him. He then coughed, getting their attention.
"Okay team," he said as they straightened up. "Just remember your training and don't underestimate your opponents. Now go out there and play!"
"Yes, coach!" they shouted. Ino then walked forwards, opening her laptop.
"Here's our team line up," she said. "Our Forwards are Jimon Daiki and Fudou Akio."
"Yes!" Jimon called while Fudou just nodded with a smirk.
"Midfielders are Kidou Yuuto, Henmi Wataru, Sakiyama Shuuji, Narukami Kenya and Doumen Shuuichirou."
Yes!" They all called.
"Defenders are Gojou Masaru, Banjou Kazumich and Oono Densuke."
"Right!" they shouted.
"And the Goalkeeper will be Naruto Namikaze," Ino finished.
"Yes!" Naruto called with a determined expression.
"Be careful with Caribbean's Defenders," Ino added as she closed her laptop. "There's a reason why their called Pirates of Soccer."
They both nodded before Naruto faced them. He looked at them and saw how different they are now than before.
"Alright, guys," Naruto exclaimed. "Let's show them the new Teikoku, dattebayo!"
"Yeah!" they all shouted before exiting the locker room. They entered the field and saw a lot of people cheering. On their right side were their opponents, Caribbean Junior High. They all had slightly tanned skin, wearing purple, pirate-themed jerseys and gray shorts. The goalkeeper was wearing dark blue and black shorts.
"Welcome ladies and gentlemen to another new day for the Football Frontier!" Kakuma Oushou, the commentator, exclaimed. "This will be a very exciting match! I can just tell. Teikoku Academy vs Caribbean Junior High for the spots in the semi-finals! Which one of these amazing teams will win?"
As the teams got to their position, the Raimon Eleven were watching with the audience. Endou looked at Naruto and looked excited to watch him play.
"Let's see how strong you've become, Naruto," Endou said with a grin.
Teikoku won the coin toss so they get the ball first. Jimon and Fudou were on the center with the Midfielders behind them. The referee blew the whistle and the kick off started. Jimon kicked the ball to Fudou, who kicked it to Kidou.
Kidou then charged with Jimon and Fudou, the rest of the Midfielders following them.
"Stop them!" Caribbean's captain ordered.
Their two Forwards tried to get the ball from Kidou, who just smirked and passed it to Narukami, getting passed them. A Midfielder was sliding towards him, causing Narukami to jump and pass to Wataru.
"Jimon!" Wataru shouted as he was about to pass when a Defender suddenly moved towards him. He jumped and landed on the ground in front of Wataru.
"Walk the Plank!" he shouted as a wooden board appeared below Wataru before shooting him up to the sky, taking the ball away.
"Will you look at that?" Oushou exclaimed as the Defender passed the ball to their captain. "There's Caribbean's famous Hissatsu technique, Walk the Plank!"
"Woah," Kabeyama commented.
"That guy managed to steal the ball!" Kurimatsu agreed.
Caribbean's captain then charged forward with the other Forward behind him. Gojou and Banjou were about to stop them when Naruto stopped them. They were confused, but they listened.
"Shoot it!" the captain ordered as he passed the ball to the other forward.
"Take this!" the forward shouted. As he kicked the ball, fins emerged from the ground and swam towards the goal. As it was about to reach the goal, a school of sharks emerged from the ground and jumped towards Naruto. "Shark Attack!"
"What a scary shot!" Oushou exclaimed as the audience watched the sharks going towards a grinning Naruto.
The Goalkeeper raised his fist into the air before punching it to the ground.
"Fire Wall!" Naruto shouted as a wall of fire appeared in front of the goal. The sharks hit the wall before getting blasted away.
"What a spectacular save by Teikoku's Captain!" Oushou exclaimed as the audience cheered.
"Woah," Endou commented as Gouenji stared at the blond Goalkeeper with a determined expression.
Naruto gave a foxy grin before kicking the ball towards Kidou, who caught it with his chest before charging forward.
"I won't let you pass!" a Midfielder exclaimed as he jumped up. "Walk the Plank!"
Kidou was sent flying, but he managed to pass the ball to Fudou, who grinned.
"Time for me to shine!" Fudou exclaimed as he kicked the ball into the air before jumping to it.
As the ball touched his chest, he started moving. He first kicked the ball with his right ankle before his left knee and then the side of his left foot.
"Lions' Barrage!" Fudou shouted as he kicked the ball with his right heel. A lion appeared around the ball as it was flying towards the goal, roaring loudly.
"I'll stop it!" the Goalkeeper exclaimed. He raised his left arm and two waves appeared in front of the goal, clashing into each other. "Riptide!"
The ball hit the wall but it kept going until the waves disappeared, much to the Goalkeeper's shock. He was blasted away as the ball hit the net.
"Goal!" Oushou exclaimed as the audience cheered. "What a terrific shot from Teikoku's Fudou Aki!"
Fudou just raised his fist in the air, smirking a bit. His teammates swarmed around him, congratulating him.
"What a powerful shot," Kazemaru commented.
It was now Caribbean's kick off and the referee blew the whistle. The captain kicked the ball to his teammate beside him before charging.
They didn't reach ten feet when Narukami ran towards them.
"Killer Slide!" he shouted as he slide towards the Forward, unleashing a barrage of kicks. The Forward was sent flying into the air as Narukami kicked the ball away.
The opponent's Midfielder caught the ball with his ankle and was about to charged when Oono Densuke appeared in front of him before jumping up.
"Earthquake!" he shouted as he landed, sending the Midfielder and the ball flying with a strong shockwave.
Caribbean's captain caught the ball and charged towards the goal. He was about to make a shot when Banjou ran forward before raising his right leg.
"Cyclone!" he shouted as his kick created a cyclone. The captain tried to get through it, but it was too strong. He was sent into the air and Kidou grabbed the ball.
"Teikoku's defense is looking unbeatable!" Oushou exclaimed to the cheering crowd.
"They've gotten stronger," Someoka commented and the others nodded.
"And faster," Gouenji added as he watched Kidou ran through the field like a blur.
"Jimon! Fudou!" Kidou exclaimed to the two, who grinned.
The two Forwards ran ahead of Kidou, who placed his thumb and pointer finger in his mouth. He whistled and five penguins popped out in front of him.
"Emperor Penguin!" he shouted as he kicked the ball towards Jimon and Fudou, the penguins flying behind it.
"Number Two!" they exclaimed as they kicked the ball at the same time, sending it flying towards the goal.
"I'll stop this one!" the Goalkeeper shouted as the ball with the flying penguins flew towards him. He crossed his arms before pushing his hands out, creating a large, red X. "X Mark!"
The ball and penguins hit the mark. The Goalkeeper struggled to keep it up, but the shot was too strong. The mark shattered and Emperor Penguin No. 2 hit the net.
"Goal!" Oushou shouted as the crowd cheered louder than before. "Another spectacular shot!"
Kidou grinned as he high-fived Fudou and Jimon. The Caribbean's captain watched them and growled in frustration.
As the kickoff started, the captain charged forward, dodging the Midfielders and Defenders. Soon, he was in front of the goal, one on one with Naruto.
"This will get a point!" the captain shouted as he readied the shot. Water appeared below him before he kicked the ball. "Tidal Wave!"
As the ball was flying towards the goal with a giant wave behind it, Naruto just grinned as pulled his right hand back before pushing it forward.
"Air Palm!" he shouted as a giant hand made of air appeared in front of him, stopping the ball. The wave dispersed as the ball gently flew towards Naruto's waiting hand.
"No way," the Caribbean captain said in shock.
Naruto just grinned before kicked the ball, sending it halfway through the field before Jimon caught it with his chest.
"Kidou!" Jimon shouted as he kicked the ball towards Kidou.
Kidou then nodded at Fudou before the two charged forward. He kicked the ball to Fudou, who kicked it into the air. The two then jumped up and strike the ball at the same time.
"Air Strike!" they shouted as the ball turned into a hurricane flying towards the goal. The Goalkeeper didn't react fast enough as the shot flew passed his head.
"Goal!" Oushou exclaimed. Soon, Teikoku were making goal after goal while stopping Caribbean Junior High's attempt to score. "Teikoku is unstoppable!"
The referee blew his whistle, signaling the end of the first half with a score of 0-10. Everyone from Raimon were looking at Teikoku with awe. They were different now than they were with Kageyama. Their teamwork was top notched and their skills were even better.
On the benches, Naruto was squirting water in his mouth. The game was going great so far. Caribbean was a good team, but they weren't at their level.
"You're all doing well," Kakashi said to the team. "But don't let that lower your guard. Just because we're ahead doesn't mean we've already won."
"Yes, Coach!" they shouted.
"Hey, Coach Kakashi," Naruto said, getting their attention. "Do you mind if I do something in the second half?"
"What?"
"Something unpredictable," Naruto said with his foxy grin.
"Sure, go ahead," Kakashi said as he pulled out his mysterious orange book.
It was time for the second half to begin and the two teams switched sides. Caribbean started the kick off. Their Forward was charging with the captain behind him.
"This time, we're going to score!" the Forward said as he back passed to the captain.
The captain stomped his foot and a cannon appeared behind him. He then kicked the ball, causing the cannon behind him to fire. "Cannon Fire!"
The shot was flying towards Naruto who grinned as he readied his favorite move. Endou watched as Naruto pulled his right arm back, red energy gathering around it.
"Demon Hand!" Naruto shouted as he held his out, releasing an astral projection of a dark red, clawed hand stopped the shot.
Everyone from Raimon stared at the technique with wide eyes, seeing how similar it was to God Hand. With a foxy grin, Naruto kicked the ball to Kidou.
"Let's go!" he shouted as he and the others charged towards the goal.
"Stop them!" the Caribbean captain ordered.
One Midfielder ran to block Kidou.
"Surfing Slide!" he shouted as he did a sliding tackle, a giant wave behind him. Kidou just smirked before jumping and using his right heel to pass the ball back.
Everyone's eyes widened as the person who took Kidou's pass was Naruto, who was supposed to be guarding the goal. He got the ball and started running towards the opponent's goal. The Caribbean Defenders and Midfielders tried to stop him, but he got passed all of them.
"What amazing dribbling skills!" Oushou said as Naruto jumped over a sliding tackle. "For being a Goalkeeper, Namikaze has some skills!"
Soon, Naruto was in front of the goal. He kicked the ball up into the air before following after it while spinning in the air.
"Maelstrom Drive!" he shouted as he kicked the ball towards the goal, the ball surrounded by swirling energy.
"I'll stop this!" the Goalkeeper exclaimed as he raised his arms and sand started swirling around him. "Buried Treasure!"
A lot of sand fell to the ball. The Goalkeeper grinned, thinking he finally stopped a shot when the sand suddenly exploded. The ball shot pass him, earning another goal for Teikoku.
"Alright!" Naruto exclaimed as he raised his fist, surrounded by his teammates. He then grinned at them. "Now let's keep scoring, dattebayo!" The audience, mostly the girls, squealed about how cute that verbal tick was.
"Yeah!"
And just like in the first half, Teikoku dominated the second half, scoring non-stop and stopping the Caribbean team from scoring. When the referee blew his whistle, the score was 0-19. Teikoku was busy cheering for their complete victory.
In the stands, the Raimon Eleven were staring at the celebrating Teikoku. Endou suddenly grinned.
"We'll definitely fight them in the finals," he said with a determined expression. His teammates saw his expression and couldn't help but grin and smile. They too were excited to meet this new Teikoku.
Naruto suddenly looked up at the audience and saw Endoue. The two friends stared at each other before Naruto grinned and raised a fist at Endou, who also grinned.
Meanwhile, Kageyama was hiding in a dark place, watching the match between Teikoku and Caribbean. He managed to escape the police again, creating a small accident that probably injured a lot of people, but he didn't care as long as it didn't affect his plans.
He was mildly impressed that the team he had abandoned became strong. Too bad that their plays were the kind of plays he despised, otherwise he would be their commander again.
He grabbed his phone and made a call to his old acquaintance of his.
"It's me," he said to the phone. "I heard that you're in the tournament. Make sure you win. And destroy Teikoku and Raimon."
The Next Day…
"Unbelievable!" Oushou exclaimed as everyone stared on the field with horror. "The match against Grass Academy and Sound Academy has reached such a conclusion!"
On the field, the players from Grass Academy were on the ground, beaten and wounded, the field filled with craters and scorched marks. The remaining standing player of Grass Academy fell to the ground as a boy with black hair styled to a duck's butt and black eyes kicked the ball to his face. He was wearing a gray jersey with 10 on the back, black shorts and a purple armband.
"Pathetic," the boy said with a sneer. He looked at the scoreboard and stared at the 0-40 with a smug look. "To think you weaklings believed that you can challenge an elite such as myself."
"Now, now, Sasuke-kun," the coach, a creepy looking man with snake-like appearance and long, black hair, said in a whispery voice. "Don't waste your strength on these insects."
Sasuke just snorted before kicking the ball one last time, knocking the Grass captain out. He then put his hands in his pocket and walked away from the field followed by the rest of the team.
"Such cruelty!" Oushou exclaimed as medics rushed and helped the injured players. "Sound Academy has mercilessly made way their way to the semi-finals. And their opponents next week will be Teikoku!"
Among the audience were Naruto, Fudou, Kidou and Ino, looking at the field with expressionless eyes. They have watched the match between Grass and Sound, but it was more like a slaughter.
Kidou realized that this would have happened to Teikoku if Naruto didn't appear that time. Those tactics and plays the Sound used were similar to the old Teikoku's plays.
"So you noticed it too?" Naruto said, looking at Kidou. "Seems like no matter how hard we try, Kageyama will never go down."
"Hmph, guess we just need to try harder," Fudou said as he placed his hands behind his head, closing his eyes. He also had a bone to pick up with Kageyama for tricking in the past.
"Time to train," Naruto said as they walked away, intending to become stronger.

Next chapter, we will see Teikoku Academy vs Sound Academy, and this time, there won't be a one-sided battle. Also, before you ask, I will make a Konoha Academy during the Aliea Academy Arc.
