Hope you guys weren't waiting long. It's time for Naruto to show how he plays soccer! Get ready people, the Orange Fire Shadow is about to make his move!
Chapter 4: Genius of Hard Work
The crowd watched as Naruto kicked the ball towards Kidou. After what Uchiha just said to them, Teikoku were fired up. They wanted to show this arrogant jerk that they were as good as him, even better.
He saw Sasuke running towards him, an arrogant smirk on his face.
"This is how you really use it," Kidou said as he readied to use a Hissatsu. "Illusion Ball!"
He managed to ran pass Sasuke, who was distracted by the balls flying over him. He then passed to Jimon, who ran towards the goal. He evaded a sliding tackle from Tayuya and about to shot when Zaku ran forward.
"Zankuha(Decapitating Airwaves)!" he shouted as he pushed his palms forward, creating a wall of air that was going towards Jimon, knocking the striker off his feet. Zaku then ran and kicked the ball towards Jirobo.
"It looks like Teikoku lost their chance to score!" Oushou shouted. "Will Sound score again?"
"Not on our watch!" Wataru shouted as he and Narukami charged at Jirobo.
Jirobo smirked before he stomped hard on the ground. Suddenly, giant balls made of earth appeared behind him.
"Doryo Dango(Earth Mausoleum Dumpling)!" he shouted as the balls of earth flew towards Wataru and Narukami. The two were blown off their feet as they were hit by the balls. Jirobu laughed before passing the ball to Kabuto.
The white haired boy smirked before he kicked the ball into the air. Saskuke smirked before he jumped, spinning as he kicked the ball.
"Maelstrom Drive!"
He kicked the powered ball towards Naruto, who clenches his fist. He pulled his right hand back before pushing it forward.
"Air Palm!" he shouted, creating a giant hand made of air. The hand met the ball and the two Hissatsu before the ball stopped and was blown away.
"And no goal!" Oushou exclaimed as the ball went out of bounds. "Teikoku's captain stopped the shot!"
"Like I said, no more goals for you," Naruto said as he caught the ball.
"Tch," Sasuke sneered as he glared at Naruto. "That shot was weak to begin with."
Naruto threw the ball and Fudou caught it. He started dribbling, passing it to Kidou to run pass Sasuke.
"Let's go, Fudou!" Kidou shouted as he kicked the ball towards Fudou, who kicked it to the air. The two then jumped and kicked the ball at the same time.
"Air Strike!" they shouted as the ball turned hurricane flew towards the net.
As the shot flew towards the net, Dosu just crossed his arms. Kin and Zaku appeared on his side, their arms also crossed.
"Wall of Sound!" Dosu shouted as he, Kin and Zaku all uncrossed their arms and shouted, creating a giant wall made of sound waves. The ball hit the wall and was easily blow away.
"Teikoku didn't score!" Oushou exclaimed. "Stopped by Sound Academy's famous Wall of Sound!"
"It's not over yet!" Kidou exclaimed as he caught the ball. "Fudou! Jimon!"
The two nodded before they ran forward. Kidou placed two fingers in his mouth and whistled, summoning five penguins in front of him.
"Emperor Penguin!" Kidou shouted as he kicked the ball towards Jimon and Fudou.
"Number Two!" the two shouted as they kicked the ball together. The ball flew towards the goal, the penguins behind it.
Just like before, Dosu, Kin and Zaku stood in front of the net.
"Wall of Sound!" they exclaimed, creating the wall. Just like before, Emperor Penguin Number Two was easily blocked.
"Darn it," Fudou said as he watched the ball fly off.
"Move!" a voice exclaimed. They turned and saw Naruto running towards the goal. He jumped and spun in the air.
"Maelstrom Drive!" he exclaimed as he kicked the ball towards the goal, the ball covered in swirling energy.
"Wall of Sound!"
Maelstrom Drive hit the Wall of Sound. Dosu, Kin and Zaku exerted a bit of more power and managed to block the shot, sending it out of bounds.
"That is one strong wall," Naruto commented as Jimon went for the throw in.
"Do you think we can break it, Captain?" Kidou asked.
"There's one move, but we need Sakuma for it," Naruto replied as he walked back to the goal. "Until the second half, just do what you got to do."
"Right," Kidou said with a nod.
Jimon threw the ball to Kidou, who passed it to Doumen. The small boy was about to pass the ball when Sakon and Ukon ran in front of him.
"Spider Tackle!" they shouted as they slide towards Doumen. Behind them, a giant spider emerged from the ground and fired a spider web. Doumen got trapped by the web. When the twins tackled him, the spider slammed down, sending Doumen flying.
Ukon kicked the ball to Tayuya, who charged towards the other goal. Wataru and Narukami charged at her, planning to block her.
"Killer Silde!" Narukami shouted as he slides down, throwing multiple kicks towards Tayuya.
"Cyclone!" Wataru exclaimed as he kicked his foot towards Tayuya, creating a cyclone that was going towards Tayauya. The red head just smirked before crossing her arms, releasing a black glow.
"Phantom Sound Chains!" she threw her arms forwards and the black glow flew towards the two in front of her. When the black glow hit them, the two suddenly stopped as the ground suddenly melted and wrapped around them.
Tayuya ran pass the two before passing the ball to Kimimaro. The silver eyed boy then kicked the ball up before jumping. He dropped kick the ball, causing it to turn into a sharp bone projectile.
"Bone Arrow!" he exclaimed as the shot was flying towards Naruto.
"Demon Hand!" Naruto released the red demonic hand. The two Hissatsu met and tried to overpower the other. When Naruto noticed that his Demon Hand was cracking, his eyes widened.
"Break through and crush him," Kimimaro said calmly.
Naruto felt himself getting pushed back in the goal.
"I won't let you!" Naruto exclaimed as his other hand started glowing. "Demon Hand W!"
He placed his other hand to the ball and suddenly, two Demon Hands appeared and covered the shot. When the two disappeared, Naruto was holding the ball with a grin.
Soon, the ball was kick back and forth. Hissatsu were thrown all over the field as they tried to score. The referee finally blew his whistle, signaling the end of the first half. The two teams went to heir respected benches.
Sasuke was livid. These losers were making a fool out of him, and he was not liking it.
"What are you losers doing out there!?" Sasuke exclaimed, glaring at his team. "You had one thing to do in that field; to assist me!"
"Oh shut the hell up, Duck Butt!" Tayuya exclaimed in annoyance. "Maybe you were too slow to keep up."
"Now, now," Orochimaru said in his hissy voice. "Let's just focus on the second half. After all, failure is not an option." he finished with a scary face. His players, except Kimimaro and Kabuto, all paled when he said that. Whenever they failed, harsh punishments were met.
"You're all doing well out there," Kakashi said as his team rehydrate themselves.
"Yeah, but we need to do better," Kidou said as he stared at Genda and Sakuma, who were finished warming up. "You two ready?"
"Do you need to ask?" Genda said with a grin as he punched his gloved hands together.
"You guys learned those moves?" Naruto asked as he changed his jersey. From his orange jersey, he was now wearing a dark green shirt with the Teikoku logo on it and the number 9 on his back. He placed the captain's band on his right bicep.
"Yes," Sakuma said with a nod. "Though we didn't have enough time to practice them."
"Good enough for me," Naruto said before turning to Genda. "I'm trusting you with the goal, Genda."
"Right, Captain," Genda said as the second half started.
"The second half is starting, ladies and gentlemen! And it seems Teikoku are making some changed!" Oushou announced. "Jimon Daiki is substituting with Sakuma Jirou! And Genda Koujirou is substituting with Gojou Masaru."
Everyone watched as Naruto stood between Fudou and Sakuma, his arms crossed and the tail of his headband flying behind him.
"Well, looks like you got scared from my shots," Sasuke sneered.
"Nah, I was bored blocking your weak shots," Naruto taunted back, causing Sasuke to glare at him. "It's time I show you another kind of genius."
"Tch," Sasuke said before walking away. It was the Sound's kick off.
Kabuto kicked the ball to Kimimaro, who passed it to Sasuke. The black haired boy smirked as he dribbled the ball towards Teikoku's goal. He saw Kidou running towards him.
"Too easy," he said before holding the ball between his ankles and did a flip. "Illusion Ball!"
A lot of balls appeared all over Sasuke. He expected Kidou to be confused as he ran pass him. Kidou smirked before he blocked a ball. The other soccer balls disappeared as Kidou dribbled the ball away from Sasuke, who was shocked.
"Kidou has taken the ball from Uchiha!" Oushou exclaimed as the crowd cheered.
"Stop him!" Sasuke exclaimed as he ran back to Sound's side of the field.
"Captain!" Kidou exclaimed as he passed the ball to Naruto.
The blond caught the ball and started dribbling towards the goal. He ran passed Jirobo, Ukon and Sakon. Kin and Zaku ran to intercept him.
"Zankuha(Decapitating Air Waves)!" Zaku exclaimed as he created a giant wall of air towards Naruto.
"Shadow Senbon!" Kin exclaimed as her shadow suddenly started shooting needles towards Naruto.
Naruto just grinned before his body was surrounded by a blue glow shaped like a fox.
"Speedy Fox Illusion!" he exclaimed as he turned into a blur before appeared behind the defenders much to their shock. Soon, it was just Naruto and Dosu facing off.
"You won't get a goal!" Dosu exclaimed as he readied his Hissatsu.
"Just try and block it," Naruto exclaimed before his entire body caught on fire. He did a roundhouse kick to the ball, causing it to be covered in a fox-shaped fire ball. "Fire Fox!"
The fire fox roared before it flew towards Dosu, who held his vibrating, clawed hand. He jumped towards the shot before hitting it.
"Kyomeisen(Resonating Echo Drill)!" he exclaimed. Dosu tried to push the ball away, but the shot was too strong. He was thrown off his feet as the shot powered pass him.
"Goal!" Oushou exclaimed as the crowd cheered. "Teikoku has tied to score, thanks to Uzumaki's Fire Fox!"
Naruto grinned as his teammates cheered. Dosu growled before pounding his fist on the ground. Sasuke glared at the cheering team, angry at them for scoring. Though he smirked as he memorized the Fire Fox.
When it was time for Teikoku's kick off, Sasuke immediately ran forward, passing through the midfielders and defenders. Soon, he was in front of Genda.
"Take this! Fire Fox!" he exclaimed as he did Naruto's move, only the move exploded, sending him to the ground. The ball flew towards Genda, who caught it with ease.
Sasuke looked shocked that the Hissatsu exploded on his face. That never happened before. He copied plenty of Hissatsu easily but this was a first.
"Having trouble?" Naruto asked behind him, grinning. "Maybe that will teach you to steal."
"Don't get cocky, loser," Sasuke exclaimed angrily. "That shot was pathetic! I didn't need it!"
He stormed passed Naruto, ignoring the smirk on the blonde's face. He was going to show them, that he is a prodigy.
Genda kicked the ball and Narukami went to catch it, but Sasuke intercepted. He started running past the midfielders until Oono ran towards him. The giant started spinning like a top and started creating a whirlwind.
"Giant Spin!" he exclaimed.
"Speedy Fox Illusion!" Sasuke exclaimed as he tried to get pass Oono, only for him to trip. "What is going on?!"
Suddenly, he was whisked away by the whirlwind. Oono then kicked the ball towards Naruto, who caught it and started dribbling towards the goal, running pass the Sound players.
When he was close enough, his entire body was covered in fire.
"Fox Fire!" he exclaimed as he kicked the ball towards the goal, the fox-shaped fire roaring. Dosu crossed his arms, so did Kin and Zaku.
"Wall of Sound!" they exclaimed as they shouted, creating the wall. The shot hit the wall and it struggled a bit before it was blown away. Dosu smirked, until he saw Naruto running towards Sakuma, Fudou and Kidou.
"You guys ready!" Naruto exclaimed as he caught the ball before dribbling it towards the three.
"Yes!" they exclaimed as they got into formation. Naruto was running Sakuma and in front of them were Kidou and Fudou, forming a Y-shaped formation.
"Then let's go!" he exclaimed before kicking the ball towards Sakuma, who kicked it towards Fudou and Kidou. Sakuma then jumped and landed on his hands, his knees bend. Naruto jumped on Sakuma's feet and was kicked upwards. Naruto spun like a yoyo as he jumped higher.
"Naruto(Maelstrom)!" Kidou and Fudou exclaimed as they kicked the ball upwards, covering it in blue energy.
"Rendan(Barrage)!" Naruto exclaimed as he kicked the ball with his heel. The energy started swirling like a maelstrom before shooting towards the Sound's goal.
"Incredible!" Oushou exclaimed. "A four-man Hissatsu, and it looks strong!"
"Wall of Sound!" Dosu, Kin and Zaku exclaimed as they shouted. The Naruto Rendan met the Wall of Sound. The three players struggled a bit, trying to overpower the shot, but it was too strong.
The wall shattered and the three were sent off their feet as the ball went in the net.
"Goal!" Oushou exclaimed as Teikoku cheered. "Teikoku has the upper hand!"
Naruto, Sakuma, Fudou and Kidou high fived as their teammates cheered. Suddenly, Sasuke roared, getting their attention.
"This isn't over!" he exclaimed.
When it was time for the kickoff, Kabuto was dribbling the ball. He looked around to see who to pass it to. He noticed Sasuke, but seeing how incompetent he was being, he decided to take the shot himself.
"Hey!" Sasuke exclaimed as he noticed that Kabuto wasn't passing to him. Kabuto kicked the ball, covering it green and it started moving like a snake.
"Snake Shot!" Kabuto shouted as the shot moved towards the goal.
Genda watched as the ball got closer to the net. He suddenly grabbed his right wrist before raising his arms up. With a roar, a black panther's head emerged from the ground.
"Beast Fang Number Two!" he exclaimed as he brought his hand down. As he did that, the panther roared and went to bite at the ball. There was a bright light and they saw Genda holding the ball down with his right hand.
"What a spectacular save!" Oushou exclaimed.
Naruto grinned as he saw that Beast Fang Number Two worked. Seeing that the original Beast Fang was too damaging to an ordinary goal keeper's body, so he created Beast Fang Number Two so anyone can use it. The power got half, but it was strong enough to stop any shots.
Kidou was grinning as well. With Genda in the goal and Naruto joining their offense, their defensive and offensive power were stronger than ever.
"Okay, let's keep this up!" Naruto exclaimed as he raised a fist in the air.
"Yeah!" they exclaimed.
"Why didn't you pass!?" Sasuke exclaimed, glaring at Kabuto.
"Because you wouldn't have made the shot," Kabuto said calmly. "I decided to-."
"You don't decide anything!" Sasuke exclaimed. "Your only job is to follow my orders, and my order is for you to pass me the ball!"
Kabuto glared at Sasuke, who stomped off. Kidou noticed this and smirked, forming a plan. He went to Fudou and told him what to do.
When it was time for the kickoff, Naruto kicked the ball to Fudou. The boy dribbled the ball and stopped in front of Sasuke. The Uchiha watched as Fudou started bouncing the ball on his knee, smirking.
That made the Uchiha mad.
"Don't mock me!" Sasuke exclaimed as he charged. Fudou ran pass Sasuke and the black haired boy trip and fell face first. Fudou then passed to Naruto. The blond caught the ball in midair.
"Fox Fire!" he shouted as he kicked the ball. The shot moved so fast that Dosu couldn't react fast enough to block it.
"Goal!" Oushou exclaimed. "Teikoku is in the lead with a score of 3-1!"
As Teikoku walked back to their side of the field, Fudou gave a smirk to Sasuke. The Uchiha clenched his fists in anger as he glared at Fudou.
When it was Sound's kickoff, Kabuto kicked the ball to Kimimaro, but Sasuke took the ball and started running towards the goal, yelling angrily. He ran pass Wataru and Doumen, but Fudou managed to catch up to him.
Fudou started bumping elbows with Sasuke, causing Sasuke to be annoyed. He tried to hit his elbow to Fudou, who moved back. Sasuke stumbled and fell on his sides as Fudou caught the ball and pass it to Kidou.
"No!" Sasuke roared as he ran back as fast as he can towards Kidou. He was so angry that he was running wildly. He tried to tackle Kidou, but Kidou easily evaded him.
"Captain!" Kidou exclaimed, passing the ball to Naruto.
"Give me that ball, loser!" Sasuke exclaimed as he blocked Naruto.
"Take it if you can!" Naruto exclaimed as he started dribbling the ball away from Sasuke.
The two moved left and right, back and forth. Sasuke tried to get the ball, but Naruto wouldn't let him. It was beginning to make Sasuke mad.
"Just give me the ball, loser!" Sasuke snarled. "A genius like me can't possible lose to a nobody like you!"
"That's where you're wrong, Uchiha," Naruto said as he ran towards Sasuke. The Uchiha growled and charged as well. "I am a genius!"
The two clashed and Sasuke kicked the ball, trying to take it. Naruto kicked the ball as well. Sasuke tried to kick the ball, but Naruto was stronger. Suddenly, an image of a nine tailed fox appeared behind Naruto, looking at Sasuke with glaring red eyes.
"I am a genius, of hardwork!" Naruto exclaimed as he got pass Sasuke, sending the Uchiha flying. "And so are my teammates! Fudou! Kidou! Sakuma!"
Naruto kicked the ball to Sakuma, who passed it to Kidou and Fudou. He then kicked Naruto upwards.
"Naruto(Maelstrom)!" Fudou and Kidou exclaimed as they kicked the ball up towards the spinning Naruto.
"Rendan(Barrage)!" Naruto exclaimed as he heel kicked the ball towards the net.
Dosu stared at the powerful shot in horror, too scared to move. The shot got pass the paralyzed Dosu, giving another goal to Teikoku. The referee suddenly blew his whistle, signaling the end of the game.
"The game is over, and Teikoku advances to the finals!" Oushou announced as the entire audience cheered.
"Alright!" Naruto exclaimed happily before he yelp as his teammates gathered around him.
Sasuke was kneeling on the ground, not processing that he lost. He saw the soccer ball in front of him before he noticed Naruto. He suddenly saw red as he stood up. With a roar, he kicked the ball towards Naruto.
Surprised, Naruto watched as the ball flew towards him, only to be blocked by Kimimaro.
"That is enough, Uchiha," Kimimaro said. "The game is over."
"Shut up!" Sasuke snarled, saliva flying out of his mouth. "Get out of my way! I will kill that dobe! I will kill-!"
He suddenly stopped talking when Kabuto knocked him out with a chop on the neck. He watched as Sasuke fell to the ground. Tayuya grabbed the boy on his feet and started dragging him away, not caring that he was getting dirt and grass in the Uchiha's mouth.
Kimimaro looked at Teikoku before bowing his head respectfully. He then walked away, followed by his teammates.
Naruto just grinned at them before turning to his team.
"Okay guys, just three more days until the finals!" Naruto exclaimed as the team cheered. "And three more days until we face, Mamoru."
And once again, handwork triumphs. As you noticed, the Hissatsu Naruto used is Fox McCloud's move that he used in Smash Bros. I just think that they were awesome soccer moves. Also, Genda learned Beast Fang Number Two. I mean, if there's a Emperor Penguin Number Two to Seven, why not Beast Fang? And there's a four man Hissatsu and I think that's a first.
