* At school. *

Ding~ Dong~

School just ended and Yui got up and walked out of her classroom in a hurry. She went down the stairs and turned around the corner to find the school's telephone.

"I found it!" Yui said with relief as she walked over to it, set her bag beside the telephone and grabbed the handset.

Yui raised it to her ear and looked around, but quickly set it back down at the sight of the Sakamaki vampire. It was Kanato.

"Ka... Kanato," Yui stammered. "You're still here."
"Yui," Kanato said. "Don't you understand why I'm here?"

Yui looked at him, confused to what Kanato said.

"I'm thirsty." Kanato said bluntly. He took a step towards Yui. "So is Teddy." He added.

Kanato then looked at Teddy.

"Say, Teddy?" Kanato said. "What do you think of Yui being for being so callous?" He asked.
"I... I'm sorry!" Yui apologized. "All right, I'll go and buy you something." She said. "I'm sorry, Teddy."
"Would you please not address my Teddy as though you know him?" Kanato said sharply. "I am the only advisor he needs. Isn't that right, Teddy?"
"O... Oh, I didn't know. Anyway," Yui turned around. "I'll be right back!" She left Kanato and her bag behind.

~ Meanwhile ~

* In the Music Room. *

Yuki entered the music room to hide from Ayato who was chasing her. She held her breath as she heard Ayato's footsteps.

"Candy!" Ayato called. "Hey, Candy! You can't hide from me forever!"

Ayato's footsteps started to sound fainter and fainter, until his footsteps could not be heard anymore. Yuki released her breath and looked around the room. She saw many instruments that were placed along the wall.

"This must be the music room..." Yuki said as she walked deeper into the classroom. She noticed a couch placed on the far side of the room, it's back facing Yuki. "A couch?" She mumbled.

Yuki walked over to the couch and looked to see who was sleeping there. It was the oldest brother of the Sakamaki family, Shu.

"Shu?" Yuki called, but no answer. "Shu-"

Yuki tripped on something and fell on top of Shu, their faces too close to each other. Shu's eyes opened, revealing his ocean-blue eyes.

"Were you trying to kiss me? You're quite perverted." Shu teased with a smirk on his face.
Yuki blushed in embarrassment.
"N-No! I wasn't! I tripped..." Yuki quickly replied as she got off of Shu. "I tripped and accidentally fell on top of you... I wasn't trying to do something perverted."
"Oh?"
"Really!" Yuki shouted. "By the way... School just ended."

Then the door slid opened and it was Ayato with a smirk on his face.

"There you are, Candy! You thought you could hide from Yours Truly?" Ayato said.
"Ayato..." Yuki said as she slowly backed up. "... Not today... I'm not feeling well..."

Ayato walked towards Yuki, but stopped when Shu sat up.

"Shu? What are you doing here?" Ayato asked.
"... I was sleeping... But was woken up by her. She tried to kiss me as I slept..." Shu answered as he looked at Yuki with a smirk.
Yuki's face flushed red and she shook her head.
"That's not it! I didn't try to kiss you!" Yuki rejected.
"Oh? You were on top of me as I slept..." Shu said.
"Candy, didn't I say that I'd be your first for everything?" Ayato growled.

Yuki just about had it and snapped.

"Ayato, when did I say that you could be my first for everything!?" Yuki hissed. "Shu, did I even touch your lips!? I didn't!" Yuki shouted at the two Sakamaki vampires which left them speechless at the sight of a 'new' Yuki. Their eyes wide from the sudden 'explosion' from Yuki.

Yuki noticed what she just did and covered her mouth.

"I... I'm sorry... I didn't mean to talk like that... I'm sorry..." Yuki apologized as she walked out of the room.

After Yuki left, Ayato and Shu were speechless and didn't know how to react to what just happened. The thing that broke them out of their bewildered senses was Subaru who entered the music room.

"Hey! Reiji said it was time to go- What happened to the two of you? You look like you've seen something that shouldn't be seen..." Subaru asked, but the two brothers didn't answer. Subaru clicked his tongue. "Whatever."

~ Back At Where Kanato and Yui were ~

Yui came back with a cup of coffee. She held it out to Kanato.

"Here, I brought you coffee." Yui said.

Kanato slapped the coffee out of her hands.

"Ow!" Yui said in pain.
The coffee spilled onto the floor.
"I PREFER THINGS THAT ARE SWEET!" Kanato shouted angrily. "I HATE THINGS THAT ARE BITTER, LIKE COFFEE! WHY CAN'T YOU SEE THAT!?"
Yui looked at him helplessly.
"That's no reason to throw it onto the floor."
"DON'T TALK BACK TO ME!" Kanato growled and Yui flinched from his sudden yelling. "YOU ARE WORTHLESS AND HAVE NO RIGHT!"
"I... I'm sorry." Yui apologized.
"YOU AREN'T SORRY, SO WHY ARE YOU APOLOGIZING!?"
"Then," Yui spoke. "What do you want from me?" She asked.

"I want you to think of that on your own." Kanato said calmly as he looked down.
"I... I'll go get you something else." Yui said as she turned around to leave, but stopped when Kanato spoke.
"No, thank you." He said. "I'm no longer interested."

Kanato then put Teddy in one of his arms and used his other to lift Yui's hand.

"Did the coffee splash on your fingers? Was it painfully hot? You poor thing."
Kanato licked Yui's fingers and Yui pulled her hand away.
"Tell me... Do you hate me? Well, do you? Do you want to learn more about me?"
"It's not as if I hate you. And I would like to learn more about you, but..."
"Then, please make the effort to understand me."
Kanato turned around and walked away.

Yui then looked over beside the telephone and saw that her bag was missing.

"What?" Yui said. "Kanato, have you seen my bag anywhere?" She asked.
Kanato stopped and said, "I put it on the roof."
"B... But why?"
Kanato turned to look at Yui and smiled.
"To punish you." He answered and looked at Teddy.
"Teddy, the phone there has been broken for two weeks now. Isn't that common knowledge?"

Yui turned around and headed for the school's roof.

* On the roof. *

Luckily, Kanato put it in an easy place to find and Yui grabbed her bag. She started towards the door, but stopped when she heard a familiar voice.

"I love you."

Yui looked around to see someone.

"For ever, and ever, and ever. Whether you desire it or not, I have never forgotten you, even for an instant."

It was Laito.

"I remember your voice, your scent... your everything~" Laito said as he took a deep breath and breath it out.

"Who goes there?" He growled.
