* In Yuki's Room. *

After Shu gently laid Yuki down on her bed, he extends a hand to touch her face, but stops midair and pulls his hand away. He turns around and quietly leaves the room.

The bedroom door clicks closed and Yuki immediately opens her eyes. She pushes herself up on her bed and looks at the closed door.

"Shu..." Yuki whispers as she holds herself back from chasing him. I remember... I remember our time when we were children... Everything... I finally regained my real memories...

Suddenly, an image of Yui's smiling face appears in Yuki's mind and she flinches from the smile.

"I'm sorry, Yui..." Yuki apologizes quietly as she cries to herself in frustration.

Then, the balcony doors slowly open.

"Auriel..."

Yuki tilts her head up as she looks around the room, searching for the one who called her.

"Hadriel...?" Yuki calls as she looks out the balcony doors.

"I'm in the courtyard behind the manor. I'll be waiting for you there." Hadriel says.

Yuki immediately gets off of her bed and leaves her bedroom, heading toward the courtyard.

* In the Courtyard. *

"Hadriel?" Yuki calls as she stares at the dark clothed prophet.

"I'm glad you came," he says with a smile.

"Is there something you need, Hadriel...?" Yuki asks as she feels uneasy. Something doesn't seem right...

"Ah, actually there is something I wish to speak to you about." Hadriel responds as he takes a step closer to Yuki.
"Something that you wish to speak about?" Yuki repeats, confused.

Hadriel stares at her for a few seconds before continuing.

"I had failed to mention this from our earlier meeting, Auriel..." Hadriel begins as his sapphire orbs stared at her. "You seem to be joined quite deeply by heart and body to 'that man'."

Yuki's eyes widens in surprise then she blushes in embarrassment.

"There is nothing to be afraid of, Auriel. I just need you to confirm if my suspicions are true or not."

Yuki lowers her head and quietly answers, "Yes... Although I'm not sure how Shu thinks of me, I know myself that I... I love him."

"Good girl," Hadriel smiles as he pets her on the head. "However," he leans down close to her ear, "it is an impermissible deed."

Hadriel immediately walks past Yuki and stands a few feet behind her.

"I cannot believe that a seraph has fallen so low as to unite with a vampire... And how he is able to have you."

Something is wrong... Yuki notes as she turns around. "Hadriel?"

"At this rate," he says in a shaky voice, "you will cease to become mine. And all I have done will be thrown to the side like trash."

"I don't understand what you are talking about, Hadriel..." Yuki says as she reaches for Hadriel's sleeve. He turns his head and looks down at her. "Calm down, Hadriel... You're acting a bit strange."

Hadriel stares at Yuki for a bit before smiling.

"Have you remembered, Auriel?" Hadriel asks as he turns his body around and places his hands on her shoulders.
"Realized what?" Yuki asks as she suddenly feels her wings unfurling behind her.
Hadriel chuckles. "No, I'm sure you have remembered what I did..."

Terrified, Yuki tries to pull herself out of Hadriel's grip.

"H-Hadriel! Release me!" Yuki says. I need to get away!

"Did you know? If an angel, no matter what rank they are, have both their wings ripped off, then..." Hadriel chuckles as he pushes Yuki onto the ground. He then manipulates the shadow to pin Yuki down. "You are a smart girl, so I bet you know what will happen."

"Hadriel! Stop―"

Yuki's mouth is suddenly covered by a strip of black. Her words were unclear, but she was still telling Hadriel to stop whatever he has in mind.

"One~" Hadriel sings as he plucks Yuki's left wing off.

Yuki screams in pain as tears flows out of her eyes.

"Does it hurt? I bet you that it hurts more than that fake memory I placed in your head." Hadriel says as he gently touches her right wing. "Once I pull this one out, you'll die... Unless a miracle happens...?"

Yuki begins to struggle, but her efforts futile as Hadriel gets ready to pull it out.

"Everything I did... was for you! I wanted you to become mine!" Hadriel shouts as he smiles crazily at her. "However, you never became mine... That's why I am doing these horrible things to you! If you can't become mine then you might as well not become anyones!"

Yuki's lets out a shorter scream than the first one before seeing black crawl across her vision.

Hadriel takes a few steps away from Yuki's body as the shadows moves away as well. He then starts to chuckle as he watches Yuki slowly fade away.

Ah... I should've chased after him... Yuki thinks to herself as she stares at the rose bush with blood-stained roses. I'm sorry, Shu―

"YUKI!" Shu sprints over to her and carefully picks her up from the ground.

"Shu..." Yuki calls quietly as she barely hangs on.

"Yuki! Hold on...! Yuki!"

Shu came... I want to look at him more, but... Everything is blurry. Yuki thinks to herself her everything grows dark in her vision and she falls limp in his arms.

Shu inhales a sharp breath and tightens his grip on her.

"It seems that she has died." Hadriel points out with a smile. "She held out longer than I expected."

Hadriel watches Shu silently as his smile becomes a sneer.

"Is there something wrong, Shu Sakamaki?" Hadriel taunts.

Shu ignores Hadriel as he begins to shake Yuki's body, not wanting to believe that the angel has died.

"Hey, Yuki! Open your eyes!" He yells. "Open your eyes and looks at me!"

"Pitiful," Hadriel laughs.

"What is so funny?" Shu snarls at Hadriel.

"I apologize for my rudeness, but I couldn't help it, you see... You looked so pitiful." Hadriel mocks as he crosses his arms in front of his chest. "Shu Sakamaki... You are pathetically weak... A vampire who cannot protect those that are precious to him."

Shu's ocean blue eyes slowly widens.

"Edgar..."

"Who?" Hadriel asks as he tilts his head to the side. "Oh... That human child who you were close to? Unfortunately, I was not responsible for that fire, but..." He smiles as he looks straight at Shu. "I know who though. I was a prophet after all."

Shu mumbles something, but too quiet for Hadriel to hear.

"Is there something wrong. Shu Sakamaki?"

"Doesn't matter! You took Yuki away from me!" Shu accuses.

Hadriel smiles and chuckles at the vampire.

"Stop your annoying laugh already!" Shu yells. "Why did you kill her?"

Hadriel frowns.

"Why...? Why did I kill her? No... I didn't kill her..." Hadriel mumbles to himself, then points at Shu. "You... You killed my Auriel!"

Hadriel suddenly unfurls his black wings and prepares to leave, but before he could, Shu stands up.

"Hey! We're not done talking." Shu says as Hadriel furls his wings.

"What is it? I have nothing else to say to you, Shu Sakamaki."

"Did you enjoy taking Yuki from me?" Shu asks.

"Ah, it was extremely enjoyable... Especially when I saw your pained expression... I felt chills down my spine." Hadriel smiles. "I'll take everything from you since you stole my Auriel away! It's more better for yourself to be someone who has nothing―"

Suddenly, Shu kicks Hadriel down to the ground.

"What are you doing!?" Hadriel snarls as he manipulates the shadows to attack, but Shu sends his familiars to keep the shadows busy. "Bats!?"

"Do not speak with that filthy voice. My ears will be dirtied." Shu answers, calmly.

With his shadows useless to him, Hadriel tries to get up, but Shu keeps him down easily.

"Stop struggling. It's useless." Shu sneers at Hadriel.

"How? How do you have this much strength? I am an archangel!"

"God might have forsaken you." Shu responds. "There's no way you can match me. There is no such thing as a vampire who cannot match a dark angel."

"How did this happen? I can't believe that my powers are not enough!"

"You're still making that sort of talk?"

Shu suddenly kicks Hadriel in the face and then places his foot on top of his head.

"How does it feel to be underneath the foot of a man you disdained?" Shu asks.

"Release me!" Hadriel growls.

Shu laughs emptily before tilting his head. "You look like a worm."

"You dare compare me to a lowly worm―"

"I wonder if your skull will crumble and if your lacking brain will spill out if I continue to apply pressure like this." Shu continues.

"S-Stop!" Hadriel begs as he winces. "If you do that... You will not be forgiven by God!"

"What sort of nonsense are you going on about? Did you not hear me earlier? 'God might have forsaken you.'"

Hadriel's sapphire blue eyes widens.

"I just realized something... If you want to continue living a life of content and idleness without any interruptions, then you should stand at the top." Shu then speaks softer. "I'll be taking Yuki."

"That's never going to happen!" Hadriel retorts.

"Say anything you want because the howling of a loser is just white noise."

"H-Howling?! You dare call me―"

"Your sins are great. You killed the woman who was to become my wife." Shu informs Hadriel quietly.

"Cease what you are doing, Shu Sakamaki! Stop! St―"

In less than a second, Hadriel's head was crushed by Shu's foot and the prophet dies. Blood splatters onto Shu's clothes and a few stray onto his cheek.

"That was quick and... dirty." Shu huffs in amusement as he turns back to Yuki's body.

"Yuki," he calls quietly as he picks her up. "You're so cold... even though you used to be so warm. Will you not open your eyes? Will you not look at me and tempt me?"

There is no response.

"You told me that you would not leave me... and that you would stay by my side. Yuki..."
