Sorry for taking so long, but I at least wanted to update the story a bit so you all wouldn't be sad. So without further ado….

Lucy POV-

*pitter patter pitter patter*

I'm holding my children in a bundled blanket. Jess and Zac are held tightly in my arms as I turn around to the sound of footsteps. No… these were running feet.

*Pitter Patter Pitter Patter*

I squinted my eyes into the darkness that surrounded me towards the sound. My body is surrounded by a light which allows me to see pink tufts of hair… haha no… Salmon.

"L-Lucy? LUCY?!"

"Natsu… "This is a dream right? This felt all too surreal though… like it was the real Natsu meeting me in a dream.

"LUCY I—NO! AGHH!"

Before I can reach out my arms to him, Natsu plummets into the darkness. I try to cry out for him and save him but—

Jumping out of bed in a cold sweat I gasp for breath, tightly holding the children who slept with me. After catching my breath I looked down at them.

They were both thirteen months old and already have grown so much. I stroke Jess's salmon bangs out of her face and smile sweetly. I do the same to Zac's blonde hair and lightly peck a kiss on their foreheads.

As I attempt to silently get out of bed, their big eyes flutter open. Jess stares at me with eyes like mine- chocolate brown, and Zac liked Natsu's- plain colored but full of life.

Jess outstretched her arms and babbled to me. "Ma-m-ma! BA!" Clearly she had wanted more attention and I smiled sweetly and turned to Zac. "I dunno if I should stay… what do you think Zac?" Zac, being a mommas boy, timidly babbled like his outgoing sister. "Ma… ba…" I giggled and jumped back in bed with them.

I cuddled them both close and they giggled happily in response to getting what they wanted.

I cherished them more than my own life… and I couldn't help but wonder….

If Natsu found out they were his kids… would he feel the same?

Natsu POV-

Running to the guild after the dream I had about Lucy, I fiercely kicked the door open.

"WHERE IS LEVY?! " I screamed hastily, needing answers ASAP.

"Tch- She's in the library, dip-shit, where els—" Gajeel scoffed as he gave his answer from the back of the guild but I just sped past him towards the back of the guild where the library was.

"THANK GAJ-KUN!" I yelled and pat hit shoulder without any thought.

I snickered to myself a bit when I heard him mutter, "Gaj-Kun? What kinda fuckin' meds is that kid on to call me GAJ_KUN?!"

However I quickly returned to focusing on the task I meant to take care of upon arrival.

I sped into the library and quickly spotted Levy by her blue hair and grabbed her shoulders.

"LLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEVYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!" I screamed while frantically shaking her.

"W-w-w-w-w-w-wha-a-a-a-t—t-t-t-?" She responded in a confused tone.

"I had a dream last night and-"I proceeded to explain everything from the dream I remembered to Levy.

When I mentioned Lucy her eyes widened and I could see that she began to think deeply.

"-and that's what happened. What do you think I can take from this?" I huffed and I caught my breath from talking so fast.

She took a moment to process it all then immediately got out her air pen and wrote down bright glowing blue notes mid-air.

"So, it seems that your mind is subconsciously sending you messages because you so desperately want to find Lucy. The Island that you couldn't hear the name of must be where she's at… and maybe you dragon instincts are trying to lead you there….? Ha that sounds silly, I'll try to come up with something mo-"Stopping Levy mid-sentence with a hug I shouted, "NO THAT MUST BE IT!" And quickly ran out.

However, I stopped at the doorway.

Wait…. I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT ISLAND TO GO TO! Calm down Natsu, you're getting too excited. Take a deep breath and let Levy help you figure it out.

I silently walked back in and sat down with a huff.

"So, erm… can we figure out what island it was?" I asked as patiently as I could.

"Actually…. We can." Levy smirked and took out a large brown leather book rimmed with intricate faded gold designs, titled with peeling letter that read:

Secrets to Your Dreams

The authors name had completely peeled but I could care less. I stared desperately down at the book then back up at Levy.

"I just finished reading this a few nights ago and there is a spell to review dreams. The book says all dreams are coded and if there is something in a dream that was blocked out by bad memory then I can just decode it! Easy-peasy!" Levy smiled triumphantly and gave me a thumbs up.

"Levy that's great! What do I do?!" I shot up and smiled the most I ever had since Lucy left.

"Just lay back and sleep and the spell and I will do the rest!" Levy pulled her hair back, put on her glasses, and slammed open the book. She cracked her knuckles and smirked.

"Well Natsu, Operation 'Find Lucy, the Love of Your Life' begins!"

I hope this makes up for the long time I haven't updated! I know exactly what I want to write next but unfortunately it's time for bed. Hope you enjoyed!
