Chapter 28

SOS – Sekai no Owari

I tried to do something, throwing myself. Yeah, it sounds crazy, but I am serious. The first time I did it, I threw myself out a window. I was unconcious and forgot nearly everything. But I was now human size.

'I don't want to do that to Aoki..' Kaito thought as he turned to look at her.

He suddenly heard a tiny voice from what seemed like her. She suddenly turned, and got up, sort of afraid. She looked around and saw Kaito who was looking at her. She turned around and ran, hiding behing the tiny box that made up her little bed. Kaito stood up and looked at Aoki who was covering herself. "Please don't do anything.. please don't" She said scared. "Why would I?" Kaito asked. "I just.. had a feeling something bad would happen.. like it's happened before." Aoki said, still covering herself.

"You don't remember who I am, do you?" Kaito asked, testing if what he had read was really true. "Are you Len?" Aoki asked confused, uncovering one eye. "No, I'm Kaito." He responded. "I somehow remember someone called Len.. you sound a bit familiar." Aoki said with a friendly smile. "Well, I'm your sibling actually." Kaito said. "Cool." Aoki said smiling. She looked around to see the huge room that surrounded her. She looked by the edge of the desk, to realize the height she was in.

"Ehr..." She said lightly, as she became a bit scared of this height. Kaito thought for a while what he would do.

This was his lost sibling, one he had never had. One he had never shared his childhood with, nor thought about her. She was unexistent in his life. But today, she was here, in front of him. He could talk to her and pretend they are children once more, but still things would remain the same. Even if he tried to recuperate time lost, his family would probably never accept her, and government would refuse to accept her as his sibling, but rather a strange alien that may have came from a different country or world. Whatever he could do was impossible, because nobody would believe him, and they would think it's an excuse to be with her. But really, he knew this was his sibling and although nobody will take it seriously, he did.

On the other hand, she was the reason for the Great Len Depression, and everyone was still a bit traumatized. After she left from their sight, things weren't as they were before. There was the dissapearance of Hatsune Miku, and the melancholy of the Vocaloid's. The world around Vocaloid suddenly seemed like a loud concert, as if the audience all had their own microphones, making them louder than the singer, and hurting your ears. Vocaloid had gotten quiet, and the world seemed loud. It was a different experience from what they had before, but one that sooner or later would become unavoidable. But without Aoki, or at least an explanation, things would never be the same. And here she was, to do this too, but without any memories or the same size, nobody would believe it was her, or maybe they would.

A/N: I made too many random references of things in this chapter. No, they don't belong to me, but here it is.

A/N 2: This chapter I had written a long time ago. I just thought I should post it since I found the file. I am planning to finish this up just so it doesn't stay as unfinished… let's just say I had never finished this because my flash drive got corrupted and I got mad lol. But in case anyone reads this .. Well… I hope you enjoy the rest of the story!
