Anise's Adventure

Chapter 16: Fighting for what's right

Anise's POV

"Eagle Dive!" I made Tokunaga jump in the air then fall head down to hit Damian which he dodge to the left.

"Shadow Slash!"

He used that dark bladed sword and slash in the air making a dark black slash send my way I quickly reacted.

"Guardian!" it still hurt but I push it aside I have to beat him! For everyone's sake! "Dual Punishment!" I held on tightly to Tokunaga when he spin with his claws out hitting Damian I didn't stop there, I kept attacking him with the same move then I ended the attack with Fire Dragon Blast with fire appearing on his claws punching Damian ten times then pulls his fist back then gives him a last punch sending him through the test tube glass.

I stop catching my breathe ready for more when he stood up all cut up bleeding, his cloths were rip almost off from the Fire Dragon Blast arte, he did not look happy he grab a piece of his burnt shirt and rip it off showing skin black tight shirt under it that wraps around his neck to his chest but doesn't touch his shoulders and arms.

"You shouldn't have done that Anise, now I'm pissed off." he narrowed his dark red eyes

I stood my ground raised my mace in the air started chanting a spell Damian charged at me to stop me from casting my spell I finished my spell calling out the name "Limited!" a crosshair-glyph appears under the spot I knew Damian well be at and thankfully he did a beam of light came down and hit him head on, he yelled in pain he was on one knee sword tip was on the floor while he grip on his sword handle catching his breathe while glaring at me with his dark red eyes.

"Damn you! How can you be stronger?! Your weak! Your nothing Anise, you know it and I know it!"

I clinch my fist on Tokunaga clinch my teethes "I know I'm weak...but, I know I'll beat you and you know why?" he kept his glare on me "Because I have friends! And I wont let you bring me down anymore!" I felt power surge through me and I knew this feeling before it was time to use my mystic arte!

I made Tokunaga charge at Damian who didn't dodge in time, Tokunaga hit Damian with his fist, headbutted him and slapped him and finally Tokunaga pulled his fist back with burst of energy then he punched Damian hard "Final Fury!" I hop off Tokunaga seeing him out cold then I turn my eyes to the unknown replica, it was woman she look familiar to me; long waist length pink hair, dark pink eyes that look blank. I bend down set my mace down beside my feet not thinking it was a bad move on my part.

"Hey, can you hear me? Maybe I should find those fomicry notes before that jerk wakes up..." I stood up forgetting to grab my mace searching for the fomicry notes, I was starting to worry it wasn't here until I saw it on the table on the other side of the area picking it up looking through it making sure nothing isn't missing a smile broke out of my lips happy not seeing a shadow behind me.

Alicia's POV

"Ray Thrust!" I put energy in my chakrams and toss one then the other one at the monster while Guy and Sync charge over killing the monster "That's the last of them, for now at least." I clip my chakrams on each of my hip belt that is loose on my hip, Sync and Guy walk over along with Jade pushing his glasses up more on his nose causing a glare to hit the lens's.

"Good, we are getting close everyone. We must be prepared for what ever Damian has in store for us, most likely he might figure out if Anise is after him we well be right behind her." Jade informed us, everyone nodded then we went forward until we heard fighting noises and Anise's voice!

"Final Fury!"

We all took off forward to see Damian ready to strike Anise with her back turned to him!

"Look out Aunt Anise!" I cried out in panic along with the others instead of calling her 'Aunt Anise' they just said 'Anise' that's the only difference, thankfully she dodged to the right holding pieces of paper's...are those the fomicry notes? She dodged just in time when he swing that dark sword at her.

"Damn you! I'll kill you! I wont let you take away the one thing to bring her back!" it scared me seeing this Damian guy mad especially his eyes look crazed but I stood my ground unhook my chakrams from my belt got in my stance along with the others.

"Anise! Wheres your mace at!" Sync yelled out to her she looks taken back but look around and saw it near the lady? Hold on! Don't tell me Damian already made a replica already?! "Get it now! We'll hold him off for now!"

Anise nodded and rush around Damian but not before he tried to stop her, I toss one of my chakrams at him making him dodge to the side big mistake mister! Sync was fast as his old nickname punching his face sending him straight to Guy who had his sword out.

"Crescent Strike!" The attack made him stumble backwards catching his breathe

"Prism Sword!"

When the dust went away there lay and limp body of Damian, I sigh in relief see Anise had her mace and Tokunaga on her back but was on her knees beside that woman with long bubble gum pink hair her eye's look so blank and dull, I followed Sync, Guy and Jade over to her.

"Don't tell me-."

"...Yes, when I got here Damian already made her. Oh!" she stood up walk over to Jade handing him those paper's she had in her hands "I made sure all of the notes were there, you should look just in case before we get out of here." he nodded looking at each paper while Anise walk back to the unknown woman's side.

"Are you going to be okay Aunt Anise?" I ask her worried about her health, she was still healing when she sneaked out she face me smiling a true one this time.

"I'm fine Alicia, I've never felt better actually." she giggled making me breath out in relief.

Anise's POV

Who know I could stand this long with out fainting, I used up almost all my energy while being injured still so when Alicia ask me if I was okay I was being truthful I was fine and never been better which was true but not the whole truth. I turn my eye's onto the replica woman something about her still bugs the hell out of me, she looks so familiar. Who does she look like though...Wait.

I lean closer to the woman face ignoring the others looking at me strangely that's when it clicked! I sat up straight eye's widen, it couldn't be...could it?

"Anise, what's wrong? Do you know her?" Guy ask me carious I could only nod

"We have to take her with us, she'll be much safer with us then with Damian," I suggested, they all nodded Guy bend down picked her up in his arms walk out from the cave along with Sync and Alicia, it was only me and Jade "Let's head on back Colonel."

I said not looking at him, I was still too chicken some reason I was pulled back to a stop when a hand grab behind my elbow I turn my head to see Jade staring at me with a glare on his right glasses lens this time.

"Is something the matter Colonel?"

"I'm carious about something but I'll have to wait until we head back into town to ask you." I could only blink confuse watching Jade put his hands in his pockets and walk after the others I walk behind him confuse and carious what he wants to ask me 'I wonder if it has to do with the notes or something...I hope he doesn't hate me too much.' I suddenly felt something bad was going to happen.

Before I could blink I felt something went through me making me stop, I slowly look down to see a dark black sword 'Isn't that Damian's sword?'

"Anise!" I heard my friend's voices calling out my name in horror, Damian jerk his sword out letting me collapse on the hard rock ground.

"I'll make you suffer Anise Tatlin! You well die by my hands!"

'N-no! I-I let my guard down, what kind of Fon Master let it's guard down?!' I wasn't paying much attention when Alicia and Jade knocked Damian out for good.

I felt top half of my body was pulled up then my bottom half "We have to hurry! Now!" Jade...I-is he worried about me? I thought he hated my guts.

...

"Anise...Anise, I'm so sorry this is happening to you."

"Who's there?! W-where am I?"

There was a soft chuckle in the nothingness, where am I? A-am I dead?

"Your not dead child, your more...how I say this? Your in limbo, in between life and death but thankfully I got to you in time before you did die."

"Huh?! So I almost died by Damian's sword?! But, wait...who are you?" I gasp softly when I was standing in some weird white place that had fog I think around.

"You saw me, Alicia saw me but just a second before you blink. You see I'm always watching over you and the human's it is my duty after all and I wish to help but it is difficult in human form I can only be in this form for so long."

A figure appeared standing a bet in front of me the fog disappeared showing that woman I saw before! But what's weird she look just like that replica lady we took with us.

"Why do you look like that replica my friend's took away from Damian?"

"Ah, You must mean Lillia, I took her form cause I met her before she died sadly. It was a horrible accident." She look away sadness shinning in her eyes "That's why I want to help you stop Damian before he causes my brother's and sister's death, you must go see my sister; Luna, she lives in the Radiation Gate. I do not know for sure if she'll listen to you or not...she can get stubborn at times but she means well."

She smiled at me reach her hand out to me which I hesitated at first but I grab her hand when a bright light came from our hands I covered my face with my free hand.

"Don't worry too much Anise, your past might be sad one but, you can make good memories with the one's you love. Just keep your head held high and stay strong."

That was the last thing I heard before I lost conciseness.

Me: Oh dear, Damian stabbed Anise with his Dark Dragon Sword, well Anise pull through it and head to Radiation Gate to meet Luna as the unknown person told her too? Keep reading~ Ciao!
