Shadows of war chapter 9
A/N: sorry this has taken awhile to get out I've been busier than I would like and when do you all think I should go to the sequel. Back to your regularly scheduled darkness
As the girls woke up with the hangovers triela predicted as the punch had been spiked to a level that most people would have been passed out on the floor or even dead depending on the tolerance level they could handle the boys were scared they would be in trouble only to be told "you boys and 'trice have to wake the girls up and they normally do it by gentle nudge for triela jumping on the bed for rico and music for etta but if that doesn't work throw in a flash bang and for Claes she is probably in Raballo's room with the books she has so just knock and if not get tea to unlock the door for you" and the boys walked out of jeans office glad that they weren't screwed up that the party was their idea. Walking up to Raballo's old room Richard knocked on the door while Alex started to try and wake up triela and Richard had the honor of waking up Rico as Alex had to wake up etta so no emotions could flare and nothing to bad could happen. Knocking on Claes' library door which is the name the boys and tea gave to Raballo's old room and it fit as Claes spent most of her days there he was surprised that the door drifted open thinking it was locked and he was a mix of scared and shocked as he found Claes naked on the floor with what looked like blood on the canvas and a small knife nearby so he poked his head out and called for tea thinking she would know what to do. As tea came in the room she saw Richy sitting on the bed holding a bottle of liquor and asked in a semi conspiratorial tone "do you know what to do or are we burying her in the river Tiber?" and Tea said "watch this and this will work to get her up" and smacked Claes on the ass and then Richard got a look at the picture of him and rico back to back with guns and Claes on a gondola with Danny.
As Claes sat up she apologized for the mess she said she had been up for a couple hours and had fallen down and hit her head. Looking over at Richard she said "I heard what you said I can float so your plan won't work and your better go wake your girl up" before pointing out the window at the sun that was just peeking out over the wall of the monastery. Walking into rico's room he saw that she wasn't there so Richard walked into his room and finding she wasn't there started to go looking for her only to see a note "grab your tactical gear and we will have a helluva morning and your bed is nice cause I jumped on it but didn't land on you " and he grabbed a gun bag then walked down to the kitchen seeing rico in black tactical pants and a garth brooks t-shirt that had been stolen from Richards room. "Hey let's get some food before we go shoot things" and as they sat down with a large breakfast of bacon, eggs, toast, steak and bagels with milk coffee and orange juice for breakfast they were surprised as they thought it would be a gun range day but they heard "hey love birds the director wants to see you in his office as of 4 am" and the sing-song gave it away that it was triela living up to her role as the dorms older sister no matter how annoying it was.
Rushing off to the director's office with a sandwich of sausage and egg on a bagel clutched in his mouth with rico having sausage in her mouth they knocked on the directors door just in time to prevent him from getting to pissed off. Knocking on the door they heard the voice of the director tell them "come on in and grab a seat so we can start discussing business and it will be a hell of a operation but I think you too can handle it and you won't be alone. The raid will be on a FRF and RDF stronghold in Germany near the US military base so you'll have the support of delta and all the toys they provide" and Richard stated the obvious of "if it's near a US base why are you sending us in because it's a delta operation so I think we should just let them handle it" and was slipped a piece of paper requesting that 'sergeant Richard scothorne to be seconded to AFO raider for the foreseeable future along with his girlfriend and siblings Taylor and Katy along with another members that he deems required' and Richard said "the family etta and triela will be asked to join me along with the handlers if you deem them necessary" but was told that it would be a kids night out and was told to pack up and head out and the boys said they will stay at the villa that Richard had which was just as nice as David's but was done in the Spanish style and th girls were happy to hear that.
As the kids pulled on to the base in up armored Trailblazers which had mounting points for machine guns, rockets and other weapons they were greeted by the boys of raider yelling "our boss is back this is going to be fun because when your around everything blows up" with looks and whistles being made at the girls only to have them be told "settle the fuck down boys they will kill you now let's show you what they can do" as Rico and triela hit the range where the record of the fastest time on the range was destroyed with triela's shotgun never quieting down after the yell of 3,2,1 breach in the fastest time of 20 seconds shattering Richards old record of 30 seconds perfect kills. As the boys walked to the bar with the girls in tow they heard "hate to interrupt the merry making but we have to go ahead and start the raid before the word is leaked so let's move" and the crew rode up onto the first raid target and saying a quik prayer they fired a breaching round then kicked the door in and heard a muffled click and everyone made a retreat for the doors or any exit as the heat came up and hit them throwing them around like rag dolls.
