Gunslinger Girl Shadows of war Ch.29: Forgiveness and sadness

As Abby started to jump into the water with the folgore parachute brigade and the GOI* navy unit, she felt the reaction of the cold water and she yelled as she jumped out
"Oh holy shit that is cold as fuck but I have to show you all up" and commander smiled before throwing her a HK417 with the M203 grenade launcher and she saw a door and fired the round through the door and loaded and fired again. As the M576 splintered the door she fired another round vaporizing the training dummy and she then fired a 1060 thermobaric round, which turned the building to dust. Ducking the splinters that were burning Abby laughed before yelling
"Holy fucking shit that was fun" and saw the look of the commander who just slowly shook his head before yelling to Abby with all the feeling of a drill instructor and not pulling any punches at the fact she was a kid
"Maggot get back on the course now. MOVE IT!" and Abby took off at a dead run toward the climbing tower and she didn't even slow down she just kept going at her usual pace and in two bounds she was up into the cargo netting and effortlessly was over the other side and bolting to the Russian port which the throwing axe was seated and with a roll she sent the tomahawk sailing slamming point first into the wall. As the commander let out a whistle Abby smiled and grabbed her rucksack and asked
"Anything else you wanna see because if not I think I should be heading back home" and the commander just chuckled saying
"Why don't you try to swim back to the mainland" and Abby looked at the, in her estimate, 100 yard swim and nodded before stripping down to the bikini she had been wearing. Taking off in her boots and bikini she hit the water and calmly made it using the breast stroke and as Abby touched down on dry land pulling herself onto the rocky shore of Venice's main canal after conducting the last two hundred yards under water in a simulated frogman exercise and as she started pulling a pair of black cargo pants on with a grey t-shirt over her bikini top she looked over the rocks and saw a young man drag a woman toward the beach and procced to try and rip her clothes off. Having seen that and seeing red Abby pulled out her trusty trident V34 combat stiletto and proceeded to get close knowing what she had to do. Sliding close Abby wrapped her hand around the man's head as he pulled his pants down and while not snapping his neck as she jerked his head back she pulled the black blade across his throat, in the same way as spreading butter on toast and with the ease of hot knife through butter.
"Well killing with a blade isn't as hard as I thought but it sure as fuck is messier than I was expecting" She muttered as she drove the knife down severing his aorta finishing the job of ending his life. Seeing all the blood Abby held her finger to her lips before motioning for the young lady to move. Taking a quick glance at the blood, a calmly perverse grin plastered on her blood stained features and started drawing out
"Siamo Immortali, noi siamo una legion, non abbiamo perdoniamo e dimentichiamo" and Abby muttered
"Well that girl will need some therapy but oh well better than what he had planned" and she used her military skills to evade capture and started to run to Rome where she found out that the police had found the body and her little note. Looking at Priscilla Abby said with a smile plastered on her face, which Priscilla felt was a little morbid
"Well the kill I did was to save the life of a young girl and I feel like an assassin as that is the methods I used so it was fast and clean but as he was a nobody I knew there wouldn't be guards coming to kill me" and she laughed as Gabriella walked in and said with a bit of malice as she knew that meant Chris's job was almost done in the school
"Well they are starting to plan for all hell to break loose because the Padania have increased radio chatter about Mimi saying they are going to capture her now if they can't take her alive to kill her" and the information was passed on to Chris and Triela along with a code from Abby and Petra
"the party guests have just agreed to arrive so enjoy the festivities and try to keep your head down because if the cops show up you are screwed" and Chris thumbed back a text of one word "understood" and nodded to Triela before muttering
"Well fuck Mimi is still being hunted and it is time to fucking ruin their lives" and Chris raised his hand and after getting the teachers approval he walked to the bathroom and pulled his trusted handgun out and brushed into Triela on the way from the bathroom nodding as she slid her jacket and shirt up revealing her trusty P230SL and she tapped the side of her ear signing
"One in the chamber and I know you have one" and Chris just nodded before quietly slipping the safety off and looking at the door. As they waited for the bell to ring Chris muttered
"Please god don't let me have an interesting school time because I don't want to have to explain why the fuck I have killed the first man, well the first I'll fucking admit to" and as they went to lunch they all had seen that no one had been confrontational only for lunch to go completely to hell. Walking over to get a roast beef lunch Chris had to do the first thing he could think of and that was simple, pull his weapon and keep it close. Sitting back down and draping the napkin over his gun Mimi squeezed his hand and said, just to throw the men who were listening in for a loop
"Baby I hate to tell you this but I think I am pregnant so I am scared that I may have to leave school and town because daddy won't like that one bit" and Chris began singing a song and Triela started clapping with the beat and he sang out
"She was pacing back and forth on her front porch I pulled up slinging gravel in my daddy's ford she cried all the way to Johnson's store I left the motor running and parked by the door" and Mimi smiled, before remarking happily
"Two pink lines is a good song so now it's my turn" and started singing
"You call me a bitch like it's a bad thing, you call me a freak like it means something I think we know the rest so get it off your chest" and they both laughed until one of their schoolmates and a teacher even for if any students tried to get involved, walked over to the two and Chris was stunned as the kid hooked a garrote around Mimi's neck and started to pull sending the whole table of cavalry and the angels as well as Claes and Triela into a fit with Claes saying coldly
"You want to die and there is a far easier way to do such a thing so say your prayers bitch" and the group all started beating the men to death and even knives were pulled stunning the school as he looked like he only stuck to himself and a small group meaning Chris just smiled and grabbed Mimi's hand with the man holding the wire starting to hold his throat as the nine inch serrated blade Chris had come in to play and said
"Time to get the fuck out of here before the teachers start breathing down our necks and why don't we get a drink baby" and she kissed his cheek before they all walked out and went to the bar drinking and laughing about what they did. As they all sat down at the corner and ate on the corner as the homeless started to come out Chris muttered
"Well this will be really weird if they try and ask us for money because we are as broke as they are and school makes me feel bad" and the group smiled before an old man came up to them and started badgering them in rapid Italian for money and Chris just raised his hands and replied, as he faked annoyance at being bothered during a date with his girlfriend and he growled before saying
"Sir I have no money anymore because I spent the last dime to my name on getting my girlfriend drinks and a ring so please go away" all the while he was watching the man's hands and with a twitch Triela pulled her pistol as the ragged worn jacket opened revealing a Sig-Sauer .357 CZ75 and as Claes pushed mimi down everyone started shooting with the most damage being 9mm and Chris' .40 not getting into play as he was using his body to catch the rounds that the man got off. Having felt the rounds slam into his chest and he jerked as Richard pulled him off mimi and started checking for wounds and said quietly
"Yup your ribs are broken so I say you need to-" and Chris pushed up seeing the gunmen piling out of a van and he hollered grabbing his pistol
"CONTACY FRONT!" and he started to fire while grabbing mimi and dragging her to her feet and running back to the canal where they had been sitting and he was relieved to see a patrol boat pull up and David scoot over allowing Mimi to hop in and he whispered, almost as if he didn't want to throw the aim and focus he had David said
"Move and clear I got this" and fired one round kneecapping the young man and Chris, blinded by rage, hopped back over before taking his combat knives and driving them through the boys eyes and then ripped out before starting tio toss his brains around on two knife blades before leaving saying
"Come on leave him for the dogs and boys we have class to go to so lets head back" and they all took off to the school not sure if the next day would be their last.
