~Chapter 25~

Mount Justice

Jakan's Cell

Jakan sat at the corner of the room Indian style with his arms crossed and his eyes closed. He swayed back and forth concentrating deeply as he thought on what happened about a day ago. Everything that his mother told him was quite the shocker for him. He would have thought it a long forgotten fairy tale if the person who told all of that wasn't his own mother. What shocked him the most was the truth of about who his father was. This whole time he had thought he was half human half whatever, but he wasn't even human. He was half Gyphen half Noah.

"She sure pulled a fast one on me," he muttered to himself. He opened his eyes, revealing a fluorescent blue. His hair had also changed from a dark and sinister look to a bright orange with a hint of pink. The once dark color of his skin was a light tan color. His overall appearance had changed dramatically. How it happened he had no clue, he just knew that when he first saw it he was in a bit of shock.

"Maybe this new look has something to do with mother appearing in my head." While he had heard her speaking to him he had felt something. It was a feeling he hadn't felt since he was a toddler.

It was clarity.

The once dark presence he felt in his head was gone, he could not hear it's voice speaking to him anymore. It was like a fog had been lifted from his conscious mind giving room to the calm that he once thought would never return.

"Isn't that good though," his mothers voice rang in his head. He smiled softly and nodded. It felt weird being back to how he used to be, but it wasn't bad. "That's right Jakan, and now you can fulfill what it is you were meant to do."

"And that would be..."

Camelia groaned. "Have you forgotten what I told you already?" Jakan shurgged. "Ugh, you are meant to help save planet Gyphtyn along side Lenalee and her teammates. That is your destiny son, and do not give me lip about what happened before. Everything will be fine, as long as you follow my instructions correctly."

Jakan rolled his eyes. "Yes, mother." Good grief, she sure is bossy.

"Good, now you will be transported out of this cell which will give you a chance to escape, then afterwards you will..."

"This is absolutely crazy," Jakan muttered to himself as he crawled through the vents of the cave. He glared as he passed by an opening that led to the kitchen. From the way his powers were reacting, he knew that something, or someone was near, and he sure wasn't going to stick around to find out. At the next corner of the vent he stopped. He lowered his head to the ground and listened.

Thunk! Thunk! Thunk!

"Oh crap," he cursed. Those sounded a lot like foot steps, and he was pretty sure that they didn't belong to that blonde haired woman that he saw before. They sounded heavy, like a males. He clicked his teeth in annoyance. He hoped it wasn't that Batman guy, or even that Martian.

"Do not worry Jakan," he heard his mother reassure him, "I don't think this 'person' will cause you any problems, in fact, they are here to help you."

Jakan raised an eyebrow. "Help me? Who exactly came, no, trespassed into League territory so they can help me escape?"

"Someone who wishes to see her majesties son to safety," a deep feminine voice whispered from below the vent.

"Ah," Jakan screeched when he saw someone, a woman with short auburn hair, staring up at him with very serious amber eyes. The woman had on a metal chest plate with spaulders over her shoulders, a skirt that reached to the top of her knees, thigh high-high healed boots with large circular buckles wrapped across the front, arm bracers that reached up to the top of her arm with mini spikes on the sides, and a pair of light blue earrings pierced through elfin ears that looked a lot like clear sapphire. What was so unique about her wardrobe though was that it was completely white, along with the broad sword and long spear on her back.

The woman took her spear from her back and with a quick strike, cut the vent open, causing Jakan to fall from out of it and hit the ground.

"Ouch," he yelped when his back hit the kitchen floor. He groaned in pain and turned to glare at the woman but stopped when he saw her staring down at him with a frown. The look in her eyes, there was something about it that seemed to calm his nerves, aside from his mother who had done that plenty of times recently.

"W-Who are you," he asked keeping his gaze on the strange woman as he stood up from the floor.

"...I am Catherine, Princess Camelia's personal guard as well her protector," she answered fluidly. Catherine straightened her back as if she was in the military, bringing her free hand to her back and the other to her front.

Jakan sweat dropped.

This was the person that her mother said would help him escape...well, it was better than nothing.

"We don't have much time," Catherine said looking back and forth. "If we hurry we can make it to my ship before sun down."

"Your ship? You have a sh-" Jakan didn't have a chance to finish on the count of Catherine grabbing his hand and pulling him towards her. The woman took off, along with him, in a sudden burst of speed down the hall of the cave, turning corners as she made her way to a rather large hole that wasn't there before. Jakan gulped at the sight of the broken cave wall and downed large wolf laying right next to it(he didn't see him but somehow the wolf came to see what the noise was and got injured in the process). He wasn't really one to get scared, he was part Noah after all, but the woman showed just how much she could freak someone out.

"Let her take you Jakan, she knows what she's doing." Jakan rolled his eyes and scoffed, trying to ignore the pressure of the woman's hand grasping his wrist.

"Easy for you to say, you're trapped in another dimension, not being manhandled by a woman, if I can even call her that," Jakan stared at the back of woman, watching as she sped through the forest with his wrist still in her hand, destroying everything in her path. "I'm literally fearing for my life right now," he shouted, ducking his head when he saw a large tree branch almost hit his head.

Camelia chuckled. "Don't let her serious demeanor scare you. She's tough as nails on the outside, but on the inside she's like a cuddly Ne'ba(it's like a cat but much bigger and has three tails)."

"O-kay...Wait, what's going to happen to me once we get on this ship?" Jakan saw Catherine look back at him, her lips quirking into a small smile, a very creepy smile at that. He only knew the woman for less than 5 minutes and already he could tell that her smile meant something he knew he wouldn't like.

"Kill me," Jakan mumbled under his breath, looking up to the sky with a pleading look.

September 27th

Royal Palace

9:30 a.m

"As you can see from the décor placed on our walls, the royal family have gone through generations of powerful Gyphen; completely dedicated to our cause of sanctioned peace..," one of the servants explained, pointing the the paintings one the wall. The team, Crow and Jasmin followed behind the Gyphen, staring back and forth at all of the white colored curtains and extremely detailed paintings.

"This is such a bore," Raider yawned into his hand, ignoring the glares he received from his mother.

"I find it fascinating," Kaldur replied, looking at everything with interest.

"I agree," came Lenalee's reply as she too stared at the paintings in fascination. M'gann and Artemis were on either side of her voicing their approval as well of the palaces art. Their boyfriends, Wally, Raider, and Connor were all standing not to far from them, looking as bored as teenage boys can get.

"Why did Christopher have to pawn us off with this guy," Wally groaned, giving the servant pointed stares.

Connor nodded. " Yeah, I thought we were brought to the palace to meet with the King and Queen, not go on some tour of the place," he grumbled.

"Dear 'ol dad just didn't want us getting in the way of family time as he so kindly put it," Raider spat out. The day before, after that battle with those two strange women, Christopher had told them that he needed to spend some time with his family before he presented them to his parents, and the council. It was at the same time that F'ai had taken his daughter away with his personal guard to who knows where.

Robin, who had been next to the three males the whole time, crossed his arms and frowned. "What I want to know is why this 'council' has to meet with us too. I mean, the King and Queen are in charge so why meet with more people than just meeting with those two," he questioned.

"Maybe it's like England's Parliament," Lenalee answered. "Besides the King and Queen, this council also has a say in what is better for their country, or something like that."

Wally grinned. "Babe, you may be on to something." Artemis rolled her eyes.

"You think maybe that's why we didn't get to see them right away," M'gann asked.

Crow hummed in thought. "Whatever the reason is we must be prepared for anything."

"Agreed," Kaldur said looking back at his team, "For right now we wait patiently for any suspicious activity." Everyone nodded.

While everyone was busy discussing important matters, Jasmin continued to look at the paintings. She oohed and ahhed each time she saw one with flowers. She wanted to continue looking around but her mother had a tight hold on her hand. It was a precaution so she wouldn't be inclined to walking off somewhere and getting lost.

"Ah, here we are," the servant said, making everyone to turn and look at him. None of them had realized how long they had been walking behind the man until they saw the end of the hallway, which by their standards was crazy long. Now here they were standing in front of a rather large porcelain door with large swirls of gold all over it, with clear blue sapphire balls for door knobs.

"Really," Raider whispered so only the team could hear him. No one said anything but they were all thinking the same thing; all of that gold was a little to much for a door.

The servant turned around to look at the group, smiling brightly as he moved his hand to the door knob and twisted it. "They are awaiting your presence inside," he said, bowing slightly as he opened the door.

Connor quirked a brow. "Who's waiting for us?"

"Why, the young miss, Princess B'ana, as well as a few others of the royal court." At the mention of B'ana, Robin's whole demeanor changed. This did not go unnoticed by Wally and Raider, who smirked.

"Oh, B'ana huh," Raider bellowed with a large grin on his face.

"I bet you can't wait to see her again can't you Rob," Wally followed suit smiling a large grin of his own.

Robin glared at the two, a pink hue dusting across his cheeks as he listened to their repetitious teasing. "Shut up," he growled.

"Will you two cut that out," Artemis scolded. M'gann nodded her head in agreement.

"Yeah, can't you see Robin doesn't like it," Lenalee said giving the teen a look of sympathy. Though it was done to help him, Robin's face seemed to grow even more flushed at the prospect of their words.

Kaldur sighed, as he could see that Raider and Wally's teasing would get even worse once they entered through the door.

Oh how he wished that his team would act descent around others for once.

Inner Gardens of the palace

"I just don't understand," B'ana sighed out as she looked down at the ring on her finger. "I mean, I know it's for the good of the kingdom, but...I-"

"Apparently your dad thinks your words are irrelevant," a girl with light blue-green eyes and bright red hair in a chin length bob declared.

B'ana shook her head. "It's not that, he just thinks that as the only heir left, besides Rena, it is my duty to marry a nobleman so that our blood will not be tainted." She wondered why of all things he ordered her to do, it just had to be the one thing she did not want to do.

Another girl who looked like the other(obviously, it's her twin sister) stared at the princess stoically. "I think you should do what Prince F'ai says."

"What?!" B'ana yelled in shock. The girl next to her stared at her sister looking as appalled as the princess.

"Sarah, why would you say that. You know why B'ana disagrees with this."

Sarah rolled her blue-green eyes. "You and I both know why Samantha, but as it stands she has no way of getting out of it. As a princess, she is required to do what his highness and the court tell her to do." She gave B'ana a somber look. "I'm sorry."

"...It's alright, I-I just needed someone to talk to while I waited here for the guests," the princess' head drooped down to her shoulders; her expression turned from sad to sullen as she looked to the door that she seemed to now notice was open.

Samantha and Sarah stared at each other in confusion. "Guests," they said in unison. They moved their eyes from B'ana's face to the now open door. Outside of the door stood ten people, along with the servant who had his hand on the clear sapphire door knob. They looked to be a strange bunch of people, with weird looking clothes that seemed to stick to their skin and masks, which they thought were even weirder than the clothes.

"It's great to see you all again, I apologize for leaving so soon yesterday," B'ana said as she bowed.

"It is no-"

"It's no problem at all," Robin said cutting Kaldur off. He had a big grin on his face and his cheeks were slightly pink.

Artemis smirked. "Oh, he's got it bad." Lenalee nodded.

"Yep."

M'gann squealed in delight. "Ooh, look at his face, he's so cute!"

"Do you see that, Wally, SB," Raider whispered in exasperation.

"Yeah...they're totally enthralled with how 'in love' he looks...I think our plan totally back fired," Wally sighed dejectedly. The boys bowed their heads in defeat.

Connor shook his head at the two's behavior. "You guys are idiots."

Raider gave the teen a withered glare. "You doth not understand our pain sir!"

"Yeah!"

Kaldur and Crow both rolled their eyes at the same time.

"I guess when it comes to Robin showing them up, even if it's unintentional, they actually get along...it's so weird ," the female leaguer thought watching as the two boys walked up to Robin and started to bicker with him. Crow looked down at her daughter. "Jasmin, make sure you don't end up like your brother, okay?"

The little five year old smiled and nodded her head. "Okay mommy!" She giggled when she felt her mother pat her head.

Back with the twins, Samantha and Sarah really didn't understand what was going on, neither did they get why the princess was associating with them either. But, from the looks of her happy expression, B'ana looked like she was enjoying herself.

"She looks better then she did a few minutes ago," Samantha whispered to her sister.

Sarah nodded her head slowly, her blue-green eyes still on the princess. "I can see that, but there is something else that I have just noticed."

"What is it?" Sarah pointed her hand towards the small group.

"The smaller male with the weird looking glasses, he hasn't once looked away from the princess."

Samantha raised one of her brows in confusion and turned to look at the male in question. She stared for a few good seconds until she gasped.

"You mean to tell me that he-" Sarah nodded her head.

"-and the princess is also-" Sarah nodded her head again letting out a heavy sigh.

"...I would advise against her falling for a...human. She will end up getting hurt if she continues down this road," she muttered under her breath. She saw B'ana turn around to look at the two of them, waving and telling them to come greet her new friends. Both the twins waved back slowly making their way over to the group.

Samantha shook her head. "What's going to happen if his royal crankiness hears about this?"

"...He won't hear about this, I'll make sure of it," Sarah stated, her expression quite serious.

"Heh, I guess I'll do the same," Samantha chuckled, "We did promise on that day that we would look after the princess, and no matter what we would make sure she is always happy."

"...We did, didn't we...well let's keep it that way."

"Uh huh."

"Let me be the first to just say how much of a privilege it is to escort you guys to the Royal Hall," B'ana grinned ecstatically. The team, Crow and Jasmin smiled back at her.

"I think we should be the ones saying that your highness, since we are in the presence of royalty,"" Kaldur remarked with a small bow.

The princess giggled. "Oh don't be so modest. Oh, before I forget, these are my two friends, Samantha and Sarah." She turned to her right, waving her hand in the twins direction. At the call of their names they smiled and did a small bow.

"We are honored to meet all of you, especially the children of our own Prince Christopher," Sarah said as she gave both Raider and Jasmin a once over before smiling.

Raider quirked a brow as he listened to the girl speak. He thought B'ana was the only one that learned how to speak English...come to think of it, that servant that brought them here was speaking English too.

"Agreed," Samantha chuckled.

Raider gave his mom a look of sympathy when he saw her expression darken a bit. Being completely overlooked was something she did not like. "So, the old man has mentioned us."

B'ana nodded. "Yes. He spoke of you not to long ago in front of the royal court...as well as the Y'ura (white) order."

Sarah elbowed the princess' side making her yelp out a small squeak. "Princess, you know we are not allowed to mention the Y'ura order in front of commoners, much less outsiders." She looked at the team from the corner of her eye noticing that they were all giving her suspicious looks.

"T'ru g'ona (I'm sorry)," B'ana apologized feeling stupid. She felt a hand touch the top of her head and ruffle her hair up.

"Don't sweat it princess," Samantha reassured the girl. She turned her attention back to the team and smirked. "B'ana here has a tendency to blurt out things she shouldn't."

"I-I do not," said girl sputtered in embarrassment.

Sarah pat the girl on her back and smiled down at her. "It is alright princess, we all mess up sometimes, even when we really don't mean to," she teased.

"Not you too Sarah," B'ana whined.

The team chuckled as the watched the three girls banter back and forth with each other playfully.

"Alright you three that's enough," a soft voice spoke out from ahead. B'ana, Samantha and Sarah stopped immediately and turned around quickly.

"C'ma (mother)," B'ana boomed in shock.

A few feet from everyone stood a woman with platinum hair tied up in a large bun atop her head with a few strands loose, a pale face that looked as white as the snow covered flowers surrounding her, her eyes were a light lavender color that seemed to light up the room, her elfin ears had a pair of jade earrings pierced through them. She had on a long sleeve, long sea green dress with a long slit on the left side that flowed all around her, as if there was a gentle breeze brushing past it. She looked exquisite and very ethereal.

"Wow...um, who is that," Wally spoke up breaking the silence.

The mysterious women walked over to the group and nodded her head to them in greeting. "So these are the guests that my husband spoke of...how quaint." She smiled.

The males, except for Raider, blushed. This woman, who they still had no clue who she was, was extremely beautiful and just the lighting that hit her face from all directions seemed to make her even prettier than she already was.

The females of the team coughed, getting the males attention back. They didn't appreciate seeing them gawk at another female.

Kaldur moved his hand to mouth and coughed. "Princess, who is this?"

"This is my mother, Lady Alicia," B'ana answered, avoiding her mothers unblinking stare. Samantha and Sarah stayed straight-faced and at attention as they watched the woman stop in front of them.

M'gann clasped her hands together in excitement. "She's your mother? She's so pretty!"

"I'll say," Wally muttered still struck with awe. Lenalee frowned, moving her hand to smack the back of the head.

"Ow," he yelped. He moved one of his hands to the back of his head to rub it, turning to look at his girlfriend with wide green eyes. "What did you do that for babe?"

"You know why," she glared at him making him gulp in slight fear. He knew he was in trouble.

Artemis and Raider smirked but said nothing. They would tease him later.

"Shouldn't we be heading to where the King and Queen are," Connor reminded looking slightly irritated. They had wasted enough time as it is looking around the palace, they didn't need to waste anymore hanging around another garden.

B'ana rubbed the back of her neck, ignoring the twins deadpanned looks and her mothers confused face. "Heh heh, sorry about that. I forgot."

Sarah smacked her forehead. Your Highness, please, you have to stop doing that. As a princess you must be-"

"Vigilant and benevolent. Yes, I know what the motto is."

"Then why don't you know when you need to remember things, even the little stuff," Samantha deadpanned.

"S-Shut up!"

"Alright, that's enough," Crow told the three girls. "We need to get a move on and you three, including 'Lady Alicia', are the only ones that can take us to the King and Queen. So, are you going to or not," she scowled.

"Dude, is something wrong with Crow today," Wally whispered to Robin and Raider, "Cause, she's been really moody since this morning."

"It's better you don't know," Robin said turning his attention to the littler girl standing next to the woman. He could see that Jasmin was getting sleepy since her eyes looked kind of droopy and she was yawning. Superboy noticed this as well and made his way over to the woman and child. He crouched down in front of Jasmin and held his arms wide open.

"Here, I can hold you." Jasmin looked at him for a few seconds before she let go of her mothers hand, making the woman gasp in surprise, and wrapped her arms around the teens neck. He picked her up from the ground and stood up, walking back over to M'gann who couldn't help but smile at the sight.

"We should be on our way," Sarah told the group, turning to B'ana's mother and bowing, before walking ahead. The princess, Samantha and the team followed behind her as they made their way through the inner gardens.

Before they had completely passed by each other Alicia smiled and said, "R'u Mo'i (Good Luck)" and walked away without another word.

"What did she say," Wally asked.

"She said good luck," B'ana answered with a small smile. She knew her mother said that for good reason since they were all likely to be in the presence of not only the King and Queen, but also the court.

Royal Hall

"Ah, we're finally here!" Wally sighed in relief, staring in awe at the large building in front of them. The whole place looked like it spanned for miles but according to B'ana and her friends, it was only about 90 to 94 feet long, which in their words was not all that huge. The team beg to differ.

B'ana nodded. "Indeed. My grandparents have been awaiting your arrival since my uncle told them about you guys."

"So, instead of meeting with the city council officials and planning for the Blossoms Festival, they wanted to see you guys instead." Samantha smiled with a tilt of her head. Her sister rolled her eyes.

"The princess isn't the only blabber mouth," Sarah muttered, pinching the bridge of her nose.

Crow crossed her arms, narrowing her eyes at the 50 foot golden brown door a few feet away from them. "When we meet these people, if by chance will they finally tell us the reason why we're here?"

"I would like to know this as well," Kaldur added glancing over at the princess, "Your uncle did say that we were brought here to help, but he did not specify why."

Everyone turned their eyes to the three girls. They wanted to know why nothing else was said about this mission too.

"Uh." B'ana was at a loss for words. She didn't know how to answer that since she wasn't given word on why either.

"Prince Christopher had yet to inform you of our kingdom's trouble because it was not something for him to tell on his own," Sarah explained.

Raider furrowed his eyebrows in confusion. "If that's so then wouldn't it have been easier if he and F'ai told us the minute we landed or even before that. I understand us meeting with the heads of the kingdom is important since we are guests after all, but still..." The others silently agreed with their friends words. They had gotten so caught up with the new environment that they didn't think to ask why they weren't informed of anything pertaining to their mission.

"I..." The princess looked down to stare at her boot clad feet. She was unsure of what to say in a situation like this. She wasn't the one with the answers, yet she wanted to at least have something to tell them.

Sarah and Samantha gave the princess worried looks. From her gloomy expression they could tell she was sad that she had disappointed her new friends.

Aside from his teammates irritated and annoyed looks, Robin pretty much kept up a calm face, along with a few others like Lenalee and Jasmin. He could tell that the princess was upset. He could see it all over her face. So, he decided he would do something about it.

"It's okay," Robin reassured the girl, watching as she looked up at him. His heart melted at the sight of unshed tears in her eyes, that he very much wanted to fix. He walked past his friends, ignoring their strange looks, straight towards the princess with one of his usual grins planted on his face.

"We can still meet with the King and Queen anyway," Robin said as he looked back at his team, specifically Aqualad and Crow. He gave the two a pleading look, which most likely meant that he wanted to indulge the princess.

Robin must have fallen for her harder than they thought.

Crow rolled her eyes behind her mask. "This boy," she thought and sighed. She turned to the teams leader. "I'm only here because of Batman, so I can't really make the call." She also didn't want to be the one to say no to Robin, she dealt with that mess enough back at home.

Robins pleading gaze moved from Crow to Aqualad making the older teen feel quite uncomfortable. Was it normal for a person to stare that much at someone?

"...I guess it would be alright since we have yet to hear anything from your uncle. We would not want to cause their majesties any trouble either by going around without their permission." Robin and B'anas faces brightened at his words.

The princess bowed as a large smile broke out on her face. "Oh thank you so much! I promise I will not let you guys down this time."

Aqualad smiled and shook his head. "It is no problem at all."

Raider smirked. "Yeah, I mean getting to meet my grands for the first time sounds like it'll be a blast right," he remarked as he slung an arm over Artemis' shoulder. Said girl rolled her eyes and smirked.

"Let's just hope you don't make a fool of yourself." Raider gasped in mock shock, putting one of his gloved hands over his mouth.

"Well I never-Ow!" Raider moved his free hand to the back of his head, rubbing it so the pain that his girlfriend induced would go away. "What did you do that for?"

Artemis rolled her eyes again. "You're being an idiot again."

"Hahahahahaha," Wally burst out laughing. Lenalee shook her head at him and turned, giving Raider a sympathetic look.

"Ignore him, I know anyone would be happy to know that they have more family...I know I would," she muttered to herself. Memories of the day she lost her parents flooded her mind, along with images of the day she was-

"Well, I suppose we should make our way inside then," Sarah advised before walking away with Samantha and B'ana in tow.

"That would be best," Aqualad answered for the team. He inclined his head towards the door signaling that everyone should follow.

"Open the royal doors" B'ana boomed. A minuted after she said those words, the large white doors slowly gaped open, revealing a long hallway that seemed to be glowing. Along the walls of the hall stood several guards who stood at attention when they saw their princess approaching.

"Whoa," Kid gasped in awe. His green eyes darted back and forth in wonder, the saem can be said about the rest. Even though this area was a corridor heading straight for the throne room, it was still pretty amazing. The walls were lines with gold bobbles that seemed to float. The curtains where wispy looking, just the sight of them made everyone somehow feel at peace. The floors looked like they were made of marble because of how slick and shiny it looked.

Samantha smirked at the teams reaction. "Isn't it just gorgeous. The whole inside was made out of the finest pieces of M'iyau(gold)."

Kaldur raised a brow at the young girls statement. "Really? Is the whole palace made of this material?"

Sarah nodded. "Yes. The gyphen who built this place centuries ago made sure to use the sturdiest pieces of M'iyau that they could find. The princess' ancestors built this place from the ground up."

Lenalee's amethyst eyes widened in wonder. "Amazing," she thought. To think that something this beautiful took centuries to be built. She was a little surprised to see how organized the soldiers are too. Each and everyone stood at attention as they walked by, for the princess obviously. As she continued to look around she noticed the looks that the guards and the servants that passed by them were giving her. The stares that she was being given weren't rude per se, but they were that of shock and awe. She figured maybe it was because she looked strange, then again her friends look strange too.

"Is that...no it couldn't be," one of the guards whispered to another.

"I thought she was supposed to have perished centuries ago," a servant muttered to the other as they walked past the group, giving Lenalee pointed looks.

"Apparently not, but there is a rumor going around that she is..." The rest of the conversation was cut off by the background noise of Kid and Raider arguing back and forth, with Robin in the middle of it.

B'ana, who was in the very front of the group, looked back at the female exorcist from the corner of her eyes. A sad smile was present on her face.

The constant whispers seemed to go on and on up until the very last second before they reached the throne rooms doors, which were just as big as the front doors of the palace. Figures.

"Okay," Sarah began, "Before we go inside, we need to go over some rules."

Kid tilted his head and frowned. "Like?"

"Like, no speaking out of turn," Samantha smirked crossing her arms over her chest.

"No looking at their highness' directly. Direct eye contact is an offense, especially to a Gyphen royal," Sarah spoke as she narrowed her eyes at the red head.

"What are you staring at me for," Kid bristled, feeling very uncomfortable from the looks the twins were giving him.

Artemis chuckled. "Because you're the only one out of all of us that would do those things, Baywatch."

"What?! I'm capable of following these rules," Kid protested, but deep down he knew that he would end up doing those things.

Raider chuckled. "I highly doubt that." He quickly turned his head when he saw Kid glare at him.

Aqualad sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose. "I think it would be best that I do most of the talking."

Robin nodded in agreement. "Agreed, I know you're more skilled in dealing with royalty, right guys?" He gave pointed stares to Kid and Raider.

The auburn haired teen rolled his eyes. "You don't have to worry about anything from me wonder boy. I can handle myself in front of a royal."

Artemis gave him an 'are you serious' look. "Oh really. I seem to remember just the other day how much of an impression you left on the princess."

"...No comment."

B'ana giggled. "You all are too funny. I'm sure my grandparents will come to like you all as I have. Now, let's be on our way, I don't want to keep them waiting."

"You heard the princes, lets get a move on," Crow spoke as she gave each teen a look. If they were going to find out what was going on then they needed to be on their best behavior...oh great, now she sounded like a babysitter. Speaking of babies. "Superboy, I hope she hasn't given you any trouble."

Superboy grunted and shook his head. Jasmin wasn't a problem at all, in fact she was quiet the whole way here. She must have been really tired.

M'gann smiled. "The tour from earlier must have been really tiring for her. Its no wonder she's still asleep." She raised her hand and gave the littler girl a small pat on her head. She giggled when she saw the girl smile in her sleep. "She's so cute." The young martian girl turned to smile at Lenalee, but her smiled slowly faded when she saw the rather confused and dazed look on her friends face.

"What's wrong Lenalee?" At the sound of M'gann's voice Lenalee broke out of her daze. She blinked a few times before looking at her friend.

"...Uh, nothings wrong, I-I'm fine, just a little tired is all," she chuckled nervously.

M'gann quirked a brow in suspicion at her friends behavior, but she let it slide, for now.

Once the last pair of doors that led to the throne room were opened, everyone took a peak inside before they made their way in. Mouths dropped at the expanded interior of the room, as well as all of the people sitting on the sides wearing all white. Far beyond that was where the king and queen were sitting. Lenalee flinched at the stares that she received as they walked further into the room.

Sarah and Samantha walked to the front of the group along side B'ana making their way to the two seated royals. The others stayed behind, not really sure what to do.

"Your Highness' it is great to see that you two are in good health," Sarah spoke as she gave a quick bow, the two beside her did the same.

The king, Cyn was his name, gave a warm smile to the three girls. "Ah, it is good to see that you three are doing good as well. Nothing bad to report I hope?"

B'ana shook her head. "No, but we do have some guests with us today. Uncle Christopher has already relayed the news of them being here yes?"

"He has," Queen Kaiu answered softly. Her blue eyes drifted past the three girls to the group behind them. Her gaze roamed over the team with piqued interest. "He mentioned to us that his children were here as well."

Samantha grinned. "Yes, would you like us to bring them forward?"

The King and Queen nodded their heads. "As you wish."

Turning back to the others Samantha shouted, "Hey, the king and queen would like to see their grandchildren."

"What?" Raider blinked with his mouth agape. They wanted to see him now.

Artemis rolled her eyes. "Come one, they said they wanted to see you so get a move on," she grabbed his hand and squeezed it, "We'll be back her waiting."

"Uh..." Robin shook his head and elbowed the older male.

"Get a move on dude, we don't have all day," Kid chuckled. Lenalee and M'gann giggled as they slowly waved their hands at him.

Raider still looked unsure, but the smiling faces from his team mates made a bit of his nervousness disappear. He nodded and turned to his mother, who looked wary yet still had a smile on her face. "Mom-"

Crow shook her head. "Don't worry, everything will be alright. Just make sure not to make a fool of yourself, okay?" She gave her sons shoulder a squeeze before letting it go.

"Okay," Raider turned to Superboy who was holding a sleepy looking Jasmin on his back. Without saying anything the teen softly jostled the little girl awake before setting her down to the floor. Raider crouched down to his sisters level and took her hand. "Hey Jazz, we're going to meet our grandparents."

Jasmin nodded tiredly and turned to look up at Superboy. "Thank you."

Superboy lips quirked up into a smile and moved his hand to ruffle the little girls hair. "Your welcome."

"Alright, get a move one, they're not going to wait all day," Artemis crowed at her boyfriend. With one last smile the two siblings started to walk to the front of the throne room. Raider kept his eyes forward trying his best to ignore the stares of the people on either side of him. Jasmin held on tightly to her brothers hand while looking back and forth with curiosity. When they finally made it to the front they stopped next to the three girls who gave them small smiles.

"So, these are my grandkids," Cyn said as he stared at the two kids. He could tell that the male was the most nervous, he could see the lad's shaking shoulders. The little girl was a different case though, her sea green eyes that looked so much like his own stared up at him with child like interest. It was a look that Christopher had given as a child.

"...Step closer children, I would like a closer look at you both.."

"Huh?"

B'ana smiled. "He said he wants you both to step closer."

Raider nodded. "Oh." He thought he was close enough since they were practically a foot away from them, but if that's what the man wanted. He gripped his sisters hand before taking a few steps forward.

"...You look so much like Christopher when he was young," Kaiu cued at the the male. She looked to her husband, silently asking him something that the five in front of them could not decipher, then slowly got up from her chair and taking small steps in her large white dress. Her long chocolate brown hair flowed like silk behind her as she stepped down each step until she stood directly in front of the two children. She raised her hand slowly and moved it to touch Raiders face. She could feel him shaking.

"Young one, I'm not privy to hurting my own blood, that is unless they disobey me," Kaiu chuckled at the males confused face. Though they could not understand one another, she felt like his expressions spoke for him than his words. Next she turned her head to look at the youngest, Jasmin. Kaiu knelt down carefully in her royal white gown so that she was at the 5 year old's height. Her gloved hand softly touched the girls face then moved to her soft black hair. Her fingers threaded throw the pigtails in fascination and awe.

"You must have inherited this beautiful color from your mother." Kaiu looked past the kids to the woman standing behind the team. With her aging blue eyes she could tell that this woman raised her kids with an iron fist. It took a strong woman such as her to raise two half breed Gyphen children.

"...Dear, would it be possible for them to participate in the Blossom festival? I would love for our kingdom to know of this."

Cyn saw the pleading look on his wife's face. He sighed. "If that is what you wish, but we will only announce of their presence at the start of the festival."

Kaiu smiled. "Thank you dear."

Cyn waved his hand at her. "Yes, well, now aside from meeting our grandkids, there was another matter to discuss with us, yes?"

B'ana nodded. "The other earthlings are here to help us with 'that' matter grandfather. The one that has been transpiring for the past century."

"...You mean-" B'ana nodded again. "Well...I am glad to hear that, but do you really believe that they are capable," the king directed this question to the other two girls.

Sarah had a look of uncertainty on her face. "Uh, your highness, we have not known them as long as the princess has-"

"So we're not really sure what they can do," Samantha finished as she crossed her arms.

Kaiu stood up from her crouch, giving the two half gyphen children a small smile before going back to her seat. "It matters not, if we can speak with them then that would be a start."

Sarah and Samantha bowed. "As you command your majesty."

"What's taking so long," Kid asked as his green eyes stared over the group at the far end of the room.

Lenalee sighed. "They have a lot to discuss Wally, you can't rush that."

"Lenalee is right, when they are done then we will be able to ask what we will," Kaldur replied giving the speedster a small reprimanding stare. Kid ignored the look.

"I'm just saying, shouldn't we have already been told about why we're here. I know the rest of you feel the same." He wasn't wrong.

Robin rolled his eyes behind his mask. "We understand Kid, but-"

"Hey guys," They heard Raider call out to them and smiled.

Kid grinned and sped up to his friend. "So, how did it go?"

Raider shrugged. "As good as any meeting with unknown family members can go. Grams is actually really nice, I don't know about Grandpa though. He still looked a little unsure about us." He looked down at Jasmin. "They seemed to be staring a whole lot at the little munchkin though, especially Grandma."

Crow's eyes widened. "What?"

"Yeah, B'ana translated everything they said to us. Something about Jazz looking a lot like Christopher."

"Hmm," Robin stared down at Jasmin, "Yeah, I can kinda see that. She has his eyes."

"But doesn't Rai have the same eyes too," Artemis asked giving Raider a quick stare before turning to look at Jasmin.

Lenalee shook her head. "No, his are a little darker than hers."

"Yeah, and hers are lighter," Kid added.

Kaldur sighed. "I do not think now is the time for this type of discussion."

"Aqualad is right," Crow said with her serious voice catching the teams attention. "Don't get distracted, we are surrounded by people we do not know so I would keep my guard up."

Raider slumped with straight faced look. "Geez mom, you really are peeved about this."

Crow scowled. "Don't remind me." Just the thought of having to be around Christopher's family made her feel heavy on the inside, like something was keeping her from accepting anything about any of this.

"Oh, here come the other three," M'gann announced. And just as she said B'ana, Sarah and Samantha were making their way back to them in a moderate pace.

"Greetings," B'ana smiled with wave. "They're ready to see you now...hi," the princess whispered as she stepped closer to Robin with an evident blush on her face. The latter smiled back at her as he too blushed.

"Oh lord," Kid sighed as he leaned on Lenalee's shoulder with his arm. "I bet by the time we finish this mission they'll be a couple."

Lenalee nodded slowly. "Yeah, I can see them getting together." She thought they were cute together already.

Sarah shook her head at the princess. "You can flirt on your own time princess."

B'ana jumped in shock. "O-Oh, I'm sorry...hehehe, um, let's be on our way then." She turned her face away from everyone so that they could not see the bright red blush splashed across her face. She waved her hand for the others to follow and quickly walked away. Robin's face was a tad bit lighter than hers but it was dark enough for everyone to see.

Raider smirked as he leaned over Kid. "I think I'll take that bet."

"Heh, you're on." The two shook hands in agreement.

Artemis pinched the bridge of her nose. "This is not going to end well."

"What's not going to end well," M'gann asked. Artemis pointed to the two males in front of her. "Oh."

The blonde nodded. "Yeah." Lenalee gave her friend a small pat on her back.

"We just have to be make sure they don't make complete fools of themselves."

Superboy snorted as he took Jasmin's hand. "To late for that."

(AN:Throughout this part B'ana, Sarah and Samantha are translating for both the team and their royal Highness'. Its kind of like that episode of YJ when the teens and League get separated and Billy has to go back and forth)

"It is such an honor to finally meet all of you. Our son has spoken highly of you all," Kaiu smiled happily.

Kaldur bowed. "It is an honor to meet you both as well. We have come to ask if you could give us some insight on what exactly we are to help with."

Cyn nodded. "As you know our kingdom has been around since the early years of my father, may his soul remain forever at peace," he muttered to himself.

"The princess has already informed you all of our history, right? Then it would only be fair that we tell you a little more," Sarah stated as she cocked her right hip to the side.

"During the early years of the kingdom, there were four factions that were made. One was the Frost faction, which is where we are right now. It's the royal capital of Gyphten. Next is the Wave faction, it is located near the border of the kingdom and it is where most of our economy thrives from. The resources we have today wouldn't be possible without the people that work out there." B'ana smiled down at the bracelet on her wrist. "This piece I have on me now was made from the shells of a M'opi(a bright blue crab with long claws)."

"Pretty," Lenalee breathed out in awe.

"A lot of the things we have in the kingdom come from the Wave faction," Samantha added.

Kaiu chuckled. "Though the planet and all of its factions are one, Wave is an independent community that respects our rule, and at times they do more for us than we could ever ask for."

Cyn continued for her. "As Gyphens we are required to help one another in times of crisis...which brings us to why you are here."

"Wait," Kid blurted out, "What about the other two factions?"

"...The two factions are not what they once were. Once upon a time both thrived on the traditional Gyphen culture, until that fateful day, when Hai made her appearance," Sarah stated, her tone serious.

"Hai, to us was the perfect opportunity for change, since back then the people had nothing else. She had great power that none of our people could even dream of having," Samantha sighed, "She was like our Goddess even though she was human. She and the first king came together and built what Gyphten is now from the ground up. The four factions were already in existence back then...although things were tad bit different."

"How so," Artemis asked as she narrowed her eyes.

B'ana gave the girl a nervous look. "Well, you see-"

"They were against anything that was unlike our world, such as yourselves. They didn't want anything impure to ruin our lands," Sarah answered for her.

Robin snapped his fingers in realization. "So, when Hai arrived they felt like her actions on this planet would ruin their way of life and create an impure world."

Samantha nodded. "Yep...even to this day they are still blind to the good that Hai has done for us."

Superboy grunted. "You still haven't told us who these two factions are."

The girls were silent. Sarah and Samantha looked at each other nervously before speaking.

"W-Well, the first faction is the one that attacked the village outside of the kingdom the other day," Sarah started, "They're called the Barren faction, which is where both me and Samantha were born."

"...Wait, what?" Lenalee smacked the back of Kids head and glared at him.

"Shut it," she hissed and turned to the two girls. "Continue."

"The Barren faction, back then, wasn't too keen on receiving a human as their Goddess. They're the warriors of Gyphten, they didn't really want anyone else looking out for us then themselves...they are a rather prideful people."

"But why did they attack the village?"

"They attacked because the people of this royal capital are followers of Hai. That's why we have placed so many of her statues all over, to pay homage to her bravery during the Faction war that was fought so long ago," Kaiu answered with her head hung low. "They disagree so strongly against us that they created a cause just to slight us, their own people. I, as well as my husband fear that something terrible is amiss in our lands. These recent attacks have grown exponentially over the past decade...I fear the country will fall from this chaos."

Cyn growled lowly. "That is not all that we have dealt with. I believe that we have a traitor among us. The outer walls are highly protected by the kingdoms soldiers, priests and priestess', only someone who knew the ins and outs of the kingdom would be able to get that large of a group within the perimeter. If they keep up with their constant attacks the capital will be in ruin, and the annual Blossom festival will be eradicated."

A heavy silence befell the group. They wanted so badly to hear why they were brought to this planet, yet...this amount of information was a lot to take in.

"What is the other faction," Crow spoke up cutting the silence off.

Cyn and Kaiu tensed at the female leaguers question. "...That faction is no more. It does not even have a name."

"What do you mean it has no name," M'gann asked with wide eyes.

"It is as they say. That faction died out the moment the King and Queens daughter, Camelia, disappeared," B'ana replied sadly. "I've only heard a few stories from my father but he was very close with her. He told me that her power are what cultivated that land, bringing a multitude of flowers and magic. She was very in tune with her power. She was the sun to that place as he described to me, and she was very much a pure hearted person-"

"That is until she disappeared," Robin interjected. "Doesn't that all sound a little strange to you guys?"

Raider nodded. "Yeah, I mean she's here then suddenly vanishes. Do you know what happened before she disappeared?"

Samantha let out a dry laugh. "Moons no."

Kid slumped. "Well that doesn't really help much."

"Could it be possible that Camelia was taken," Lenalee inquired.

Kaiu gasped. "...I-I believe that might be what happened to her. S-She met someone, another outsider such as yourselves who appeared right out of nowhere, like Hai did. The man's name was Nathan."

Crow quirked a brow. "Nathan? What did he look like?"

"He had strawberry blonde hair, almost orange, and his eyes were a bright yellow, almost like the sun. His skin was a little darker than yours dear," Kaiu gestured to Raider who looked down at his hands, "A-And he had this mysterious air about him, like he knew more than he let on, but Camelia was so fascinated with him that she eventually fell in love with him. After that everything is a blur for me."

"Let me get this straight," Raider began, "First, there are these people from this Barren faction that don't really like non-gyphens so they attack the villages like a bunch of loyalists, then there's the so called traitor that has been openly allowing these people to come into your kingdom and create havoc among the civilians, and lastly the disappearance of this Camelia person that I do believe connects with the creating havoc thing."

Robin smirked. "I think you summed it all up."

Sarah blinked. "Are you meaning to say that the rebellion against us was enacted for the purpose of avenging one of our own?"

"Yes, and I do believe that this traitor among you has qualms of your people being over run by outsiders," Kaldur surmised and continued, "It is appears that everything connects."

"Hold on a second," Samantha cut int, "How do you know for sure that this group is attacking for that reason? There have been plenty of reasons for them to attack the capital."

"Like what," Artemis retorted in a not-so-rude manner.

"The Barren faction have never liked how things have been run up to this point. They think the planet will die if my grandparents continue to rule, so they've made it their responsibility to try and drive out anyone who they deem unworthy of ruling over Gyphten," B'ana informed, her eyes heavy with unshed tears. "There have been many assassination attempts over the past few centuries, which could most likely lead to another war if they are not stopped."

"Not to mention the great winter solstice that appears during the Blossom festival," Sarah reminded, "Only a selected few of Gyphen gain a large supply of magic from the solstice, but if something were to happen, say one of those thugs manages to steal this power, then the kingdom will be doomed."

"...When is this Blossom festival," Crow asked.

"The festival begins officially this evening but the solstice isn't until tomorrow," Cyn answered. "If you wish to know more about this festival the priestess Kailyn can tell you more. She's been the temples adviser for as long as my first son has been alive...If that is all then I suggest you all be on your way. My wife and I must prepare for the festivities."

B'ana, Sarah and Samantha bowed to the King and Queen before turning to the team.

"Let us be on our way then," Sarah told them before she and the others began to walk towards the exit.

Once again there was silence.

"You lady," They heard the queen call out.

"Who is she calling for," Artemis asked as she looked to the other females in the group.

"I think she wants to see you," Samantha gave a pointed look to Lenalee.

The female exorcist pointed to herself. "Me? Why would she want to see me?" What would the queen want with someone like her?

Kid walked over to her and gave her a soft pat on her shoulder. "Hey, it's going to be alright. We'll be waiting for you outside okay, and afterwards you're going to tell me what's been bugging you," he whispered the last part in her ear.

Lenalee shivered as his breath hit that sweet spot on the back of her ear. She knew he knew that he did that on purpose just to ease her fears, and some how it worked. She smiled softly up at him before pecking him on his cheek, eliciting a groan from Raider which entailed a smack to the back of his head from Artemis, and a cackle from Robin.

"Thanks Wally." She took his hand and squeezed it before letting go.

"If anything happens yell alright, don't want anything to happen to you," Kid gave the people sitting at the sides of throne room wary looks. Robin elbowed him. "Hey! I'm entitled to be worried about her."

"We know, that's what worries me," Robin muttered.

Sarah walked up next to Lenalee. "I'll stay behind with you since neither you or them will know what the other is saying."

"Okay." Lenalee waved to everyone as she watched them leave. She saw Wally look back at her to give her a small wink before walking away. The large doors shut behind them making it quiet once again.

"Come child, I don't have all day," Kaiu called out again with a hint of a frown her face. The two girls hurriedly made their way back to the King and Queen without another word.

Cyn coughed. "I have but one question to ask of you my dear, and I would like for you to answer it truthfully."

Lenalee nodded. "Okay."

"...Are you an exorcist?"

"...Yes."

Kaiu's frown deepened. "My word...dear you do know what this means right?"

Cyn nodded, his face looking quite grim. "Yes, the end is approaching faster than we realized."

Sarah's eyes widened. "Your highness, what do you mean the end is approaching?"

"It is exactly as it sounds. Since the arrival of the first exorcist, Hai, our world has been strange. The balance between our world and hers has shifted tremendously. I fear that when this solstice makes its appearance this year that...oh moons I do not even want to think of what will happened when it gets here."

"What does that mean," Lenalee asked looking slightly shaken by the kings words.

Kaiu gave a shaky sigh. "Hai was both a blessing and a curse for our world. Though she saved the kingdom from ruin, she brought along her own problems...she was an exorcist just like you so it was painfully obvious what followed after her, yes?"

Lenalee nodded. She knew exactly what they were talking about, but still, how was all of that possible in the first place...unless.

"Your highness if I may ask, have there been any 'monsters' popping up, any at all that may have shown up?" She had to be sure it wasn't what she thought it was.

Cyn shook his head. "None that I know of."

Lenalee sighed in relief. "That's good."

"...My queen, if I may be so bold, maybe it would be best that you give the exorcist more info. She could help us out a great deal with that other issue," Sarah bowed, giving Lenalee a small glance.

Kaiu smiled and clapped her hands. "Yes, that is a good idea. The perfect place to start would have to be the Forest of Memories. It is said that Hai's memories are kept there, but I must warn you first. The forest might be where her memories lie but sometimes if you are not to careful, a few pieces of your past will rise to the service and try to overtake you, so I advise you to take heed."

Lenalee nodded.

"Good, now you wouldn't want your friends to wait long," Kaiu smiled brightened, "Run along now, and remember what I said."

"Yes." The female exorcist bowed quickly before she turned to leave.

The forest of memories, she thought. That was the place she needed to go in order to find out how and why Hai, her so called ancestor, showed up in this world. And after she found out...well she would just leave that up to fate. Frankly, she had been having a debate with herself about whether she wanted to go back home or not. She made a list of pro's and cons in her head. Currently the pro's list was winning with it's endless lines of why she just had to stay, with the number one reason being Wally. She loved him dearly and wanted nothing but the best for him...but when the time comes for her to have to leave what will she tell him. After that incident with the whole 'she's from a different dimension thing' she had tried super hard not to lie to him or keep anything from him. The same could be said about her team too. She didn't want to lie to any of them since they were technically like her family in this world. They had grown close, as close as any family could be.

At the foot of the large doors, Lenalee stopped with Sarah right behind her. She felt a wave of anxiety and guilt being to come over her. It was like something had just suddenly took hold of her and did not want to let go. She didn't know what it was but since their arrival on this planet she's felt, off.

"Are you okay," she heard Sarah ask her with concern.

Lenalee nodded. "Y-Yes, I'm alright. Just a little tired is all." No, it was much more than being tired.

Sarah nodded but the look of concern was still on her face. "If you have any problems we have healers at every corner to assist you."

Lenalee shook her head. "I'm fine." She gave the girl what she hoped looked like a reassuring smile before making her way through the now open doors.

"Okay then... The Blossom festival begins tonight and the princess wishes for you and the others to join her," Sarah brought up. "Since you are the first earth friends she's ever made she wanted to give you the full royal treatment. These are the princess' words not mine."

"Understandable...I have one question." Sarah nodded. "Uh...B'ana was acting strange before when we mentioned something about her ring, you wouldn't happen to know anything about that would you?"

"...I do, but I am not the one that you should be speaking to about this."

Lenalee nodded. "I know, but you and Samantha are the closest ones to her so I thought I might as well ask. She...she looked really down when she looked at her ring, like it was some type of burden to her."

"It is a burden. One that not even we can remove off her shoulders...Listen, if something ever happens to either me or my sister please make sure you are by her side. The princess...B'ana, has always been alone, even with her sister she never really felt like she belonged. Though the King and Queen show affection to her she is still treated like an outsider by the outside." Sarah clenched her fist. "Just because of the name she was given she is treated horribly, even by her own father," she muttered.

Lenalee stopped in her tracks in front of Sarah and turned to look back at her. "...I-I'll try my best to do as you wish, but you should tell her how you feel. You are her friend, aren't you?"

Sarah blinked with her mouth agape, then, she chuckled. "Yes, I suppose I am...thank you."

"Your welcome." Lenalee smiled. "We should probably get going, don't want them to run back here thinking something happened."

"hahaha, no, that would not be pleasant," Sarah giggled. The two girls smiled at one another before quickly making their way down the long halls of the castle, with a slight skip in their steps.

Unknown location

"Are you sure this is what you want to do, Mistress," Surry asked with a slight frown on her tanned face.

The woman in front of her scoffed, her hands tightened around her black lacy parasol. "How many times must I repeat myself?! Yes, this is what I plan on doing, and nothing any of you say and do will change my mind!" The woman stood up from her seat. "Tomorrow we strike, no ifs and or buts about it."

"Ma'am, what about the prince. He specifically gave us orders not to strike until the solstice was officially here," a girl with short blonde hair hidden underneath a large pirate hat, wearing a tight black short sleeved leotard and black boots, questioned with a wide grin on her face.

"As I have told you before, we do not take orders from him. He is of the Frost faction while we are of the Barren. I hope you have not forgotten that."

The two women shook there heads. "Good, now prepare for tomorrow. I want the King and Queen to beg for mercy once I do away with the wretched ilk they call children."

Lilith, who had not said a word up until now chuckled, drawing the woman's attention to her.

"And what is so funny?"

"Nothing much mistress, well, aside from the fact that their royal highness' have guests who are anything but normal." Surry visibly flinched at her words.

The woman narrowed her eyes into slits. "What do you mean 'guests'?"

"They are of earth ma'am, and they are not to be trifled with, especially the exorcist," Surry glared down at her hands at the memory. The girl looked exactly like Hai.

"...An exorcist you say...very intriguing." With a quick flick of her wrist the woman threw her parasol at the wall in front of her. The utter strength in her throw made the air around her tense as her face morphed into rage.

"That wretched swine! He knew that they had an exorcist with them yet did not report it to me! Of all the low down dirty no good selfish-"

"So I'm selfish now," a male voice spoke sourly. The women in the room turned to the entrance with wide eyes. There stood the very man that their leader was cursing to oblivion with a deep frown marring his face.

The woman stopped her rant before speeding up to the man. She grabbed him by the collar and growled. "You knew there was an exorcist!"

F'ai nodded, not looking the slighted bit scared of the woman. "Yes, and I kept the information secret so you would not go on a rampage...Mary, you must wait a bit longer."

Mary growled again and tightened her hold on his collar. "You have no right to give me orders Prince. We made a deal remember. A deal that did not involve exorcists!"

"I know that, but I have found a way to, weaken her. And the only way I can do that is unless you help me," He moved both of his hands to grab hers. "You remember the promise we made as children, do you not?"

"...Yes, I do." F'ai smirked and leaned into her face.

"Then all the more reason to help me," he whispered to her, "I promise you that we will avenge both of our loved ones, but for right now we must stick with the plan. Understand?"

Mary's glare slowly softened into a calm one. "Yes...are you still planning on using your daughter?"

F'ai nodded. "The only way for my plan to come into fruition is unless the solstice chooses my daughter. It is to be her turn this year."

"Then what," Lilith grinned like the cheshire cat, "You say that your daughter is powerful enough to end everything, but wasn't she predicted to have a 'half life'? You can't expect us to use someone as useless as a half life."

"...My daughter is a half life yes, but her powers have grown, so much in fact that she can control the very streams that gave us this power," F'ai chuckled. "It won't be long until the shift that Hai caused in our world fully develops, and then, then we will finally be rid of any outsider who dares trespass on this sacred land."

Whoooo! Oh my gosh that was a hassle. I mean geez, that took me hours to do XC. I am so glad I'm done with this chapter.

Brief explanation for everything.

First, I just want to apologize for my long absence. I've been busy with life.

Second, If you're wondering why there are so many OC's in this story, well stop wondering. They are all apart of my plan for the near future. But this doesn't mean that this story is oc-centric or anything. Lenalee is still the main character. And if it seems like she's not getting enough face time, well that's because I'm still trying to work on getting her face time. This is the only saga in the story, and it's going to explain everything that you all have been asking about since the first few chapters. Don't worry XD

Third...Rene and Reuben aren't dead. They are still much alive in my book. I haven't forgotten about them, I just haven't found a good place to bring them in yet.

Fourth, the romance between the couples and the future couples are also part of my plan. I have already started the sequel and the third story after that in my head. You already know the couples since I've repeated it a lot but here they are again.

Wallyx Lenalee

ArtemisxRaider

RobinxB'ana

M'gannxConnor

ZatannaxAllen

The last one won't be happening for awhile since Zatanna shows up in later episodes, and Allen is currently back in his world.

Oh yeah, and the thing going on between Crown and Superman...yeah, that's going to pop up later too. The thing with me is that I don't want the couples from the show in my stories. I find them cute yes, but it's a bit repetitive, and it irks me...just a tad bit. Sorry if anyone disagrees.

Frankly guys, this is my story. I can do what I will with my imagination. If anyone objects to it find a different story. Like seriously, I've gotten complaints about stuff like this before. I nearly cried from one rude person, but I sucked it up and said nice things to them.

Word of advice, shut em up with kindness. It works like a charm.

Anyway, I won't be out with another chapter for awhile since I have other stories to do. It might take me more than a month to come out chapter 26, so just be patient.

See you guys next chapter XD
