Ginny and I went back to our dormitory straight after seeing Professor McGonagall. I was slightly annoyed at the fact we had got detention tonight but I was more upset that Ginny never told me about Zabini; I thought we told each other everything but clearly not. Ginny sat on the edge of her bed while biting her lip and then looked at me with guilt over her face, she could clearly tell that I was upset with her.

"'Mione I was going to tell you but I didn't know how you were going to react." Ginny said with her eyes pleading and I looked down. "Please 'Mione, you can be as mad as me as you want just don't tell Harry or Ron."

"That's what you care about? If I tell Harry and Ron?" I questioned in a stern voice and raised my eyebrows, lifting my head to look at her.

Ginny had a wave of emotions pass over her face. "I'm just sorry alright. I wanted to keep it a secret because I thought it might just be him you know trying to seduce me but he is really nice and funny and...I just like him okay."

I sighed and just nodded as a response. "So how long have you two been dating?" I asked trying to develop an interest.

"We have been going out since the start of this school year. We talked a few times at first and then he asked me out and he does this smile that I just can't resist so I said yes. It's basically his fault for being so bloody drop dead gorgeous." Ginny said with a smile. This caused me to let out a little giggle. (I took the phrase 'drop dead gorgeous' from Hesaluti's fanfictions on I hope she doesn't mind, check out her stories they are really good.)

Ginny and I walked to the transfiguration classroom to find that Draco and Blaise were already outside talking, they cut their conversation short when they saw us approaching.

"What do you think we are going to have to do?" Ginny asked Blaise.

"Please don't say make out." I interrupted Blaise before he started speaking with a look of disgust on his face.

"Well I personally have no idea but making out sounds good." Blaise replied with a wink to Ginny. Draco just looked at them with a confused expression plastered over his face.

"There will be no making out in my classroom Mr Zabini and Miss Weasley." Professor McGonagall said in the doorway of the classroom which made them jump. She beckoned for them to follow her into the classroom which they did silently. "Now what I want you to do is to sort out the books and the classwork into different sections. Some of the books are all over the place and I want them to be graded into difficulty. Also some students have jumbled up all of the work that the classes have been working on so they need to be sorted out into classes. I can trust you with this, yes?" We all nodded in response and she walked out of the classroom, that is when we realised how much we actually had to do. There was paper covering the tables in different sized piles and there were books randomly around the room and in some bookshelves.

"Why is there so much I thought we would be here for an hour at most." Blaise said with a disappointed expression on his face while picking up a few books that were on the desks. Ginny and I started sorting out the piles of paper to try to make space for the actual piles. Draco just stood at the door watching us.

"Malfoy for merlin sake help us so we can leave before midnight." Ginny said with a sigh looking at him over the piles of paper. He gave her a death stare but then started to help Blaise. "Well he changes quickly, he was fine before." Ginny said whispering now so only I could hear.

I nodded in response. "He is really strange sometimes." I whispered back and noticed his gaze on me so I raised my eyes up to his, he looked away almost immediately after making eye contact with me.

"Granger." Blaise said from across the room, I looked at him as he said my name. "I want to work with my girlfriend and you like books so work with Draco for me." Blaise said this with emphasis on 'girlfriend' and a pleading look on his face. I sighed but then nodded, which caused Blaise to smile at me (he really did have a gorgeous smile), I then stood up and walked towards Draco. "Thanks." Blaise then walked over to Ginny who was flirtatiously giggling at him.

"You shouldn't have said yes." Draco said his voice low and quiet.

"Why shouldn't I." I lowered my voice too.

"Because now they will be flirting all night and we won't get it done quickly." Draco said with his voice still low and quiet. He did have a good point though so I avoided his gaze and started sorting out the books.

We had finally finished at 9pm which was surprising because of Blaise and Ginny flirting the whole time but Draco and I finished sorting out the books within half an hour so we could help them with the classwork. There were now neat piles and the books were in a perfect order, if Professor McGonagall could find fault with what they had done she would be surprised.

"Well that took about forever." Ginny said with a sigh afterwards while dusting off her hands on her jeans.

"You didn't even do most of it, you were too busy snogging your boyfriend." Draco said but there was amusement in his eyes so we could tell he was teasing. "It was Hermione and I that did most of the work. "

"Wait did you just call me Hermione?" I asked unsure of what his response would be.

Draco had a puzzled look on his face before answering. "Yeah, I guess I did. No idea why I did that." He then nervously bit his lip and looked to the side. I looked at him confused and then looked at Blaise who was grinning at the exchange and holding back laughter. Ginny didn't even try to conceal her laughter so Draco looked towards her with a stern look. "It's not that funny."

"No it wasn't but you just seemed so awkward and confused when you realised you said her first name." Ginny said with a cheeky grin. "Is there something you aren't telling us Draco." She emphasised his first name and I noticed that he blushed slightly.

"Of course not." Draco defended himself.

"Why did you blush slightly then?" Blaise asked joining in with questioning his friend and winked towards me at the end. Ginny noticed and looked shocked.

"'Mione I think we should go now." Ginny said with a smile.

"Okay?" I said but it sounded like I was asking a question.

We walked back to the common room in silence before Ginny looked in the girls dormitory and gestured for me to follow her. The dormitory was completely empty and Ginny sat on her bed and sighed.

"Are you mad because Blaise winked at me?" I asked fully aware I used his first name.

Ginny looked up at me surprised before shaking her head. "No not at all, I just found it strange that Draco blushed slightly and then Blaise winked at you. Do you get where I'm going with this?" Ginny asked with her eyebrows raised.

Shock passed over my face because I understood what she meant. "You think Draco likes me?" I said unsurely hoping I was wrong.

"Well the evidence supports that..." Ginny replied trailing off.

"But he can't like me he might of just got too hot and Blaise is a flirt. Yeah that's probably it." I nodded afterwards trying to convince myself that this was the reason.

"Well if that's what you want to believe." Ginny said before getting a book and some sweets out.

"Yeah that is definitely what I believe. There is no way that Draco Malfoy would like me. No chance." I said making my point clear.

"Okay, okay." Ginny said raising her hands up before returning back to her books and sweets.
