A/N: Well its definitely been ages since the last update. Time really seems to run away from me. I'm really going to do my best to speed up the updates but man I can't promise anything at the moment. As always I don't own Mass Effect or Crysis and I hope you guys enjoy!

CryNet Phantom Operative designation Wraith

Current assignment: SSV Normandy SR1. Aide to Lt. Com Shepard, Spectre

Current Location: Virmire, following successful covert HALOM insertion.

Current Time: February 26th 12:11

"Sable to Wraith over."

I shrank back into a nearby bush from my overwatch position at the top of the ridge that had a perfect view of the dropsite where the mako would land. "I read you Sable."

"Wraith we are making final approach, ETA one mike."

"Understood. I've marked a single fireteam of geth at the LZ." I glanced over at the team of four geth that were slowly making their way over the beach. "Be ready to go in hot. Over."

"Understood Wraith. Continue along the beach to the first AA gun. Out."

"Cloak Engaged."

I shimmered from view and began making my way along the ridge to where the first AA turret was. I'd hardly gone more than fifty meters when I heard the sounds of jets firing and looking back I caught a glimpse of the Mako before it disappeared from view behind some trees. A moment later the sound of gunfire reached my ears, echoing back from the LZ. Ignoring the sounds I continued on through the undergrowth. The sounds of combat soon died down as Shepard and her team dealt with whatever geth they encountered. Figuring that the geth would be distracted by the armored vehicle that had come knocking on their door I uncloaked and started loping through the jungle, making sure to stay beneath the trees. "Wraith, be advised we've lost contact with the Normandy. The geth appear to have a jamming field up."

"Copy that, I've also been unsuccessful in establishing comms with Raptor or Serpent. I'm guessing that we'll have to get closer before we can establish comms."

"Alright. continue on to the first triple A tower."

My run through the jungle was uneventful, never encountering any geth however continuing to hear sounds of combat as the mako encountered groups of geth on its way to the objective. In this manner I arrived at the AA tower just a few minutes before the Mako did, allowing me to find a vantage point on a cliff overlooking the AA tower. Drawing my sniper rifle, I got myself in position to provide support when the mako came tearing around the corner and underneath my position on the cliff. A moment later the guns on the Mako burst into life as they began tearing into the geth that were already reacting to the new appearance. A geth flashed red on my HUD and as I aimed down my scope at it I could see why it had been marked a priority target. I pulled the trigger sending a metal shard screaming downrange at the geth armed with the AT launcher. A group of geth were sent flying as an HE cannon round landed in their midst. I ignored the explosion, shifting my aim directly at another AT geth, blowing its head clean off.

I flinched as a loud crack sounded as a single shot flew directly over my head. Rolling to the side I followed the vapor trail left by the shot to its source, using my suit's sensors to aid me. It didn't take longer than a second for me to find the origin of the shot. A cliff face, some nine hundred meters away from me. Another second and I spotted the geth sniper perched on a rock, already aiming another shot at me. Twitching to the side once more I cloaked and shifted a few meters to the side before carefully aiming at the sniper in the distance, taking bullet drop into account. Uncloaking I fired, immediately recloaking and ducking to the side as the sniper shifted and fired with inhuman speed. SECOND had tracked my shot, along its path using its vapor trail along with its impact point to better gauge wind speed along the way. Unfortunately I was behind on that information, as the geth sniper had done the same thing after its first shot and its second shot just barely missed me.

Now however though we were on even ground, I held the advantage of my cloak, allowing me to merely have to move slightly from my last position and be able take all the time I wanted to take my shot while the geth sniper had no such advantage. Realizing this the geth turned and began clambering up the cliff face on all fours like a lizard in an attempt to get out of my sight. However before it could go more than a few meters I lined up my second shot and pulled the trigger. The hypervelocity round tore through the air, smashed through its shields and bore its way through the sniper causing it to loose its grip on the cliff face and fall to the ground.

Smirking I shifted my aim back towards the AA tower, my rifle automatically zeroing in on the three hundred meters that separated me from the tower. I immediately saw that the mako had stopped at the base of the tower and that everyone minus Kaidan and Ashley were climbing out. The two marines stayed in the mako and when everyone had exited wheeled the IFV around and began peppering the remaining geth with its MG. Taking a shot at a geth that poked its head up from behind cover I watched out of the corner of my eyes, as Shepard led her squad up the stairs on one side of the gatehouse that blocked the path onward. With quick movements and short words, she tasked a group to stay on their side of the road, to provide cover while she led Wrex and Tali across towards the main building, upon which the anti-air gun was situated.

I continued picking off targets, even taking out out of my line of sight by using the data from the squad's VI's to hit targets through walls. It didn't take much longer until the facility was cleared of geth and Shepard reported that the gun had been shut down.

From there we went on to the next AA turret which we also successfully assaulted and shut down. It seemed that the geth hadn't really done much to fortify for our arrival, however we quickly realized that that meant that they were probably fortifying the last anti-air battery with everything they had. So I tried once again to get in contact with Raptor, Serpent or the STG regiment, but just like when we tried to contact them from orbit, I received no response.

Regardless, we continued on towards the last Anti-Air tower, realizing that this fight, would almost certainly not be as easy as the last two were. So once again I was sent up ahead, to scout the defenses and layout while the others stayed back, well out of sight. I advanced under the cover of my cloak, making sure to move slowly and, when needed, hide underneath vegetation to let my suit energy recharge. So it was almost fifteen minutes later when I finally caught sight of the Anti-Air tower and its defenders.

"Wraith to Sable, I have a visual on the tower."

"And? What kind of defenses are we looking at here?"

I sighed "Well I think we're gonna be in for a tough ride. See for yourself."

I heard Shepard whistle quietly as she started getting the visual feed that I was sending her. "They have that thing locked up tighter than a Volus bank."

"And with twice the amount of guns." Ashley muttered.

"They have at least four HMG turrets, one bigass AT-gun, one colossus, two armatures, two primes, four juggernauts… Not to mention all the smaller geth units. Now why didn't we bring a howitzer?" I muttered sweeping my eyes over the AO.

"Hell I'd settle for a mortar right now." Kaidan responded.

"Right, well that AT-gun is going to instantly take out the mako so that will have to stay here until we take that out. There are a couple of cobra missile launchers in the mako. Garrus take one I'll take the other. Wrex, there's also a M-100 in here. Take that as well, we'll need it against the weaker geth units. Our priority will be to take out that AT-gun and the Colossus. That's where the Cobra's come in. We are going to use those to take out both the AT-gun and the Colossus. However, geth shields are notoriously strong and while the Cobra was designed to be able to penetrate shields, I'm not sure how well they will handle the shields of the Colossus and gun. So we will have to make some modifications."

The line went silent for a second before Shepard continued talking. "Tali, I-" She hesitated for a split second "-have some prototype EMP grenades straight from alliance R&D."

I froze, my eyes narrowed as I heard that. The way Shepard had said it, made me think that she wasn't handed these EMP's to better combat the geth, not to mention that to my knowledge she had never used them before. I took a steadying breath and pushed the matter to the back of my mind. We were not in a position to have a discussion about this now, but I would definitely be confronting her about that matter later. For now I turned my attention back to the conversation at hand.

"Can you combine them with the Cobra in order to create an EMP missile?"

"Hmm, I'll have to examine them but I might be able to come up with something quickly."

"Alright get to work right now. So in the initial attack we will take out the colossus and gun, then we Kaidan and Ash, you will move in with the mako, target the HMG turrets, Armatures and Primes. We will also split up into two teams, Tali you're with me, Garrus and Liara you'll be team two. We will advance up on the tower, bounding up by team. Wrex you're gonna be hanging back with your MG, just shoot whatever you see, suppress them give us cover to move up. Wraith, you stay on overwatch, take out any priority targets, Snipers, AT, grenadiers you know what to do. Once we reach the structure, we'll enter and clear it, taking out any geth inside before shutting down the triple A. From there we'll pack up and head to the STG base. Any questions? No? Alright then, double check your gear, make sure everything is working perfectly. Pop in a new ammo block, make sure your heatsinks are still working properly. Switch in a new one if need be, we can't afford jams or weapon malfunctions. Wraith, keep an eye on the AO. If anything changes report it."

"Understood." I replied shortly.

I didn't have to do too much checking, all my weapons and gear had sensors that were tied to SECOND so I had all the info I needed directly on my HUD. I did however switch out the heatsink on my SCAR, as the sensors indicated that while it would most likely still function properly for a while, it had been in use for a while. I had just replaced the ammo blocks before the mission so I was still fine with that, only having fired a couple of shots from my DSG-1 and not having used my SCAR at all yet. Gear checked and fixed, I spent the rest of my time carefully scanning the entire battlefield, using Nanovision to pick out heat and energy signatures and tagging them for constant location updates.

Finally, after almost half an hour of tense waiting, Shepard reported that everything was in place, and that they were ready to commence the assault.

"Understood. Enemy positions updated. However the geth will spot you the moment you come into view so don't take too long acquiring targets."

"Good thing we have your tactical data then." Shepard replied "Anyway, get ready to engage. ETA one minute."

I took a deep breath, lining my crosshairs up onto a geth rocket trooper that was currently standing completely still, looking out towards the main road/beach. In my peripheral vision I saw the icons of the rest of the squad moving towards the tower and a minute later two rockets blasted out of the undergrowth towards the Colossus and the large geth cannon. The two rockets crossed the distance from origin to impact in less than a second. They detonated together, the twin explosions tinted with the slightest hint of blue energy as the EMP washed over the large geth units, shorting out their shields and the geth systems themselves, long enough for the secondary charges to penetrate and hit their targets sending shrapnel flying skyward, and leaving them crippled. As the sound washed over me, I gently squeezed the trigger, sending the first round from my rifle screaming downrange. The metal shard pierced through the geths shields and impacted on the geth's head, thanks to the modifications I had made prior to landing on Virmire.

As I waited for my rifle to cool down gunfire burst out from the undergrowth as the rest of the squad opened fire on the geth defenders, cutting down a few of them before they started taking return fire. Quickly spreading out, the squad ducked behind cover or threw themselves prone to avoid the hail of fire originating from the HMG turrets. Another AT-trooper fell to my rifle as with the roar of its engine, the Mako barrelled down the beach towards the installation, its main guns and cannon barking as the first HMG turret fell in the initial blast. A third pull of the trigger sent another geth tumbling to the ground as one of the armatures was lit up by the Mako. Its shields flared for a moment before failing and a cannon round slammed into it, blowing a gaping hole in it.

Now the firefight began in earnest as the squads began bounding up by teams, one group covering the other team's advance. I popped the head off of another geth as another HMG turret fell to the mako's cannon. I spotted a rocket trooper taking aim at the Mako while scanning the geth resistance and quickly shifted my aim to take it out. My rifle bucked in my hands as the geth fell to the ground, unable to fire its launcher in time. As I continued to watch the battle I spotted a geth wielding a LMG that was keeping garrus and liara suppressed and unable to advance. Quickly I aimed and fired, my high powered shot easily taking out the geth and freeing my two squadmates up to advance forward. By this time, the Mako had taken out the last two HMG turrets and the other armature and the two teams had advanced almost halfway to the objective.

I had just taken out yet another rocket trooper when one of shepard's shouts caught my attention.

"Sniper! Get behind cover! Wraith get that bastard!"

I furrowed my brows and switched to nanovision in an attempt to find the sniper's location. "I'm on it! Did you catch where the shot came from?"

"No idea! Somewhere beyond the AA!"

I frowned as I continued to scan the area beyond the turret to no avail. Nothing stood out on my scans. "Are you sure? I'm coming up blind!"

"Well you best fix your vision or we're dead meat!"

Zooming in I started to examine the area in detail incase I missed something when suddenly my suit tracked a shot coming from what seemed to be a bare patch of rocks.

"There it was again Wraith! He's got me zeroed in. Get that fucker now!"

"There's nothing there! Just an empty rock outcropping!"

"Well are the rocks sniping us now?" Shepard shouted "Find him!"

I fell silent, watching the area for any sign of movement when a third shot burst from a grove of trees, fifty meters away from the rock outcropping and slammed into my shoulder, penetrating my suit and causing my shoulder to erupt in pain. I gasped in surprise, reflexively cloaking and rolling to the side. The pain in my shoulder quickly died down as the suit injected me with painkillers and nanites to stop the bleeding and fix my shoulder enough so that I could continue to use it.

"I'm hit." I gasped. "That fucker is somehow able to hide from me. I can't find him."

"You ok?"

"Yeah. Suit's taking care of it but if we don't take out that damn sniper then we're fucked."

"Relocate and find him! We can't adva- Kaidan! On your right! Look out, AT!"

A second later an explosion filled the air as a missile streaked out from behind a rock and slammed into the rear end of the mako, sending it screeching to a halt.

"Kaidan! Ash!"

After a moment of silence the radio crackled to life "We're alright! Mako's done for though. We've got to abandon."

"Understood. Everyone provide cover fire! Let them get the hell out of there."

I was able to brace my rifle on my knee, and took a shot at a geth as it popped out from behind cover, taking its head clean off. The recoil made my shoulder twinge a bit and I knew that I would be paying for this later. The moment I took the shot I cloaked and dashed away to avoid the wrath of the sniper.

Within thirty seconds, Ashley and Kaidan had linked up with Garrus and Liara, well clear from the damaged Mako.

"Alright. Good news is that we now have some nice cover a bit further up." I heard shepard say between shots. "Bad news is we no longer have the mako's firepower and I don't want to be near it if the cannon shells cook off. Half a ton of HE shells would blow that thing apart."

"At least we took out the armatures and colossus." Tali called out.

"Don't tempt fate kid!" Kaidan shouted. "We're in a real clusterfuck right now!"

"You call this a clusterfuck?" Wrex laughed "Alenko, I've been in tougher situations and got out just fine."

"Losing a lung is not what we consider just fine!" I shouted.

"That was just that one time, besides I didn't need that one anyway." Wrex retorted, the sound of his MG continuing in short bursts.

"Wait, is that Colossus getting back up?"

At Ashley's shout I quickly turned my gaze to the Colossus wreckage which was obviously no longer just a wreckage as it slowly got up, its main cannon severely damaged but its secondary guns started spitting rounds at the squad.

"It must have recovered from the EMP." I said.

"Well that's just great."

"Hey it could be worse." Shepard called out to Kaidan.

"How could it get worse?" Liara sounded terrified at the thought.

"I don't know but it can always get worse!"

"Oh and we got that damn sniper still around." Ashley cursed. "He just took down my shields though. No real harm. Just keep your heads down below cover."

My attention was suddenly drawn to the fact that under the cover of the colossus's firing, most of the geth were retreating into the structure of the Anti-Air turret.

"Why are the geth running? Did we win?" Tali asked cautiously noticing the same thing.

"No idea, but I'm not quite happy with it." Shepard muttered.

My enhanced audio receptors picked up something that made my blood run cold. The whistling sound of something falling from the sky and a second later, geyser of water erupted just offshore, accompanied by a ringing explosion.

"It just got worse." I cursed as Shepard shouted for everyone to get down.

"Mortars! Hit the dirt!"

"Spirits. What are we supposed to do now?"

"Just stay down, and run toward the colossus!"

"Say what now? Run toward it?" Ashley screamed, a hint of panic entering her voice.

"That was an order! Stay low and run toward the colossus! They won't be aiming that close to the damn thing."

I blocked out the shouting between the squad, instead opening a comm channel reserved for phantoms. "This is Phantom Operative Wraith to any member of Serpent or Raptor do you read me? I repeat, Wraith to Serpent and Raptor do you read? We need immediate assist! We're pinned down at the geth AA-tower at these coordinates: 682-354. Do any of you read?"

I paused for a few moments hoping for a response and just as another mortar shell landed in the jungle near the squad I heard a burst of static over the channel. A second later a female voice that I recognized as Basilisk cut in through the static. "-perative. Serpent is incom- ETA two mikes.- -Raptor- tracking artillery tra- -you copy?"

"Serpent! I'm getting some static here!"

"Underst- -Watch out for- -nd snipers."

Another shell landed not fifty meters from my position. "Fuck! Serpent wait one!" I quickly switched back to the squad channel to inform the rest of squad only to stumble right into the middle of a string of shouted orders from Shepard.

"Wrex draw that things fire! Ash pop smoke! Liara drag him back out of the line of fire! Tali, Overload!"

"Wraith to Sable."

"Tell me you have something for me Wraith. Kaidan's hit, we're being torn apart here."

"We have reinforcements inbound! ETA one mike! Just hold on!"

"Reinforcements? Well that is good news. But we still need to get rid of those goddamn mortars."

"Raptor is already dealing with them. Serpent will-" I stopped mid sentence as I noticed something in the distance. About seven hundred meters away a geth with what was obviously a sniper rifle was shimmering into view where just seconds before there was empty beach. Suddenly it clicked. The reason that the sniper was able to hide from me was because it had been using my own tactics against us. It would fire, cloak and relocate, giving me no chance to spot it. Yet at the same time most cloaks shouldn't hide it from my nanovision. Infact the only type of cloaking that could reliably hide itself from nanovision was the nanosuit's cloaking which was derived from ceph technology.

A sense of foreboding fell over me as I realized this and as I quickly went to aim at the now uncloaked sniper that was aiming at one of my squadmates my proximity alert went haywire. Spinning around I was greeted to a view of five geth, shimmering into view weapons aimed directly at me. Time seemed to lengthen as I took in the black colored geth. The geth had superior reflexes to humans, I would be hard pressed to avoid their shots since they already had me by surprise. I started to dive out of the way in a futile attempt to avoid being hit by five geth at the same time when additional figures shimmered into view behind the first five geth. Despair hit me as I realized that with more geth it would be impossible for me to escape alive. Yet as the other figures fully materialized I realized that these new figures did not have flashlight heads, they did not have the three fingered hands, they did not have the double jointed legs like the geth did. These figures were shaped far more like a human. Female humans to be precise, all wearing Nanosuit 2's.

Relief flooded through my body as time seemed to speed up again and I threw myself to the side to avoid the first shot from one of the geth. An instant later however the four members of serpent team sprang into action, first throwing the weapons of the geth off target before dismantling the rest of the geth in four different ways. The first woman unloaded into one with a suppressed feline, her rounds leaving a faint bluish trail as the phasic rounds completely bypassed its shields riddling it with holes. The second geth was taken out by a quick strike to its side, sending it crashing to the ground where its head was smashed underneath the boot of the second phantom. The third phantom shot her geth with a suppressed shotgun, the muffled bark sending shards of tungsten tearing through the geth's shields. A second shot brought the geth down while the fourth geth went down in a shower of sparks originating from the last phantom's hand. This left but one geth which hardly had the time to turn to look at the new arrivals before the first phantom spun around and landed a solid kick at the geth sending it stumbling towards me. Not one to squander an opportunity I grabbed its arm and yanked, causing it to tip over completely where a burst from the phantom with the feline finished it off.

Lowering her feline the phantom took a step towards me and extended a hand towards me. "Looks like we arrived just in time."

I chuckled breathing heavily as she pulled me to my feet. "You most certainly did. Now lets save the rest."

Basilisk nodded "Did you have to bring her along with you?"

I chuckled "More like she brought me along."

She laughed "I can imagine. Alright lets do this. Up and at em ladies!"

Lieutenant Commander Shepard

Commanding officer of the SSV Normandy SR1

Current Location: Virmire, assault on Anti-Air gun Charlie

Current Time: February 26th, 13:25

Cold, hard determination had long since set in. Going through Elysium, Akuze and Torfan had gotten her used to impossible odds. Elysium and Akuze she had gone through pretty much alone, Torfan- Torfan had resulted in the death of most of her squad. As she glanced around, taking in her squad and the distant icon that designated Wraith she resolved that she would not lose a single person today. While she was accustomed to fights like this, she knew that most of her squad were not. Kaidan and Ashley may be Marines, but a quick look into their files had shown that before Eden prime, Ashley had actually never taken part in any real combat, while Kaidan had only participated in a few minor skirmishes around the galaxy. While trained, training could not substitute for true experience. Garrus wasn't much better. Generally a C-Sec sniper and investigator wouldn't be thrown in a pitched battle with another military force. Gangs would have been the worst he went against and Gangs didn't have Tanks and Mortars. Liara had a few altercations with pirates on her various digs, but again, nothing nearly as big. Tali was still a kid and would never have experienced any real battles. Only Wrex had experienced anything like this and it showed.

Notes of panic had already crept into just about everyone's voice. Only Wrex and Wraith remained completely focused. Wrex due to his experience and Wraith… Well Wraith probably didn't experience this sort of open combat much either, but had enough experience and his suit, to keep him focused.

So, as the squad leader it fell to Shepard to keep the rest focused and keep them from completely panicking. And so, she constantly shouted various orders and gave words of encouragement, to appear strong and confident. She could not afford to show any sort of doubt now, or that could doubt could cause the others to panic and make irrational decisions. Still, she felt extremely privileged to command her squad, as she knew that they would not abandon her to the enemy. She merely had to keep them focused and they would do the rest.

"Garrus, geth on the walkway! Take it out! Ashley pop smoke, fifty meters up! Kaidan just stay down, don't agitate the shoulder! Liara lay down a singularity behind that rock. Tali, overload. Wrex take out that shock trooper. Go! Go! Go! Wraith, what's your status?"

Wraith had gone dark a minute ago, breaking off mid sentence, however his vitals showed that he was fine so she figured he just had to deal with some geth on his end. She sprinted ducking back behind cover just before another mortar round hit the ground nearby. It was slightly ironic, but Shepard was using the mortar shots as a measure of time since she noticed that they kept landing every ten seconds. The moment that the shrapnel stopped flying she ducked back out from cover and opened fire on the walkway where she knew a few more geth were, forcing them to keep their flashlights down or get hit, allowing the rest of the squad to advance. The colossus was however still their biggest threat even if it didn't have its main cannon. Smoke and rocks provided them enough cover to advance, albeit slowly but they were quickly reaching the point where the colossus would just be able to shoot over the rocks and hit them. She glanced at her belt where two explosive charges were hanging, she only hoped that she could get close enough, and that they would be enough to bring it down.

She belted out another quick set of orders was about to try and reach wraith again when suddenly the colossus reared up and began firing at something behind her. Glancing behind her, Shepard's eyes widened for a moment as a grin crept on her face. There behind her were five figures sprinting up the beach at inhuman speeds. Her HUD instantly tagged one of them as Wraith and as they got closer the others were tagged as well.

"Hey commander! I hope you don't mind I brought some friends to the party!"

The five phantoms sprinted up to and past her within seconds, leaving the dust swirling in their wake. As they neared the colossus, Wraith and the phantom next to him, Basilisk leaped up into the air at the geth walker. Wraith grabbed hold of a plate of armor on the main body of the colossus, using it to pull himself up ontop of the machine while Basilisk used one of its legs as a springboard to jump all the way ontop of the tank, with all the grace of an acrobat. Meanwhile the other three phantoms all ran, climbed or jumped their way up to the walkway and began began taking down the geth hiding up there in a series of moves that looked rehearsed, using each other in their attacks, kicking geth at one of their teammates who would meet the flying geth with a punch, kick or just regular shot.

Wraith and Basilisk, continued with taking out the colossus. Wraith stayed put on the back of it, pulling something from his belt and sticking what Shepard assumed was an explosive charge in between an armor plate while Basilisk continued to climb up the geth until she reached the damaged head and pulled another charge and tossed it into the damaged section of the head, nimbly holding on as the colossus tried to toss the two phantoms free. A moment later, Wraith and Basilisk jumped off of the colossus towards Shepard.

"Get in cover!" Shepard shouted, not needing to know that the colossus was about to detonate. A second later a massive explosion sent shockwaves rippling outwards as the two explosive charges detonated simultaneously. As the sound from the explosion abated shepard poked her head around the rock she was taking cover behind to see that the two charges had completely disintegrated the Colossus's head and its back, leaving it little more than a smoking wreck on the ground. The three phantoms on the Walkway had already moved off the walkway and into the structure itself but from the sound of it, there were no longer many geth to oppose them.

The spectre remained behind cover waiting for the next mortar round that she was expecting but the ten seconds came and went without another detonation.

"Raptor contacted us almost a minute ago. The mortars have been neutralized. That was the last one earlier." Wraith said striding up to Shepard.

"Oh good. Thanks for the help." Shepard gave Basilisk who was approaching from the opposite side of Wraith a nod.

Basilisk nodded and raised her hands to her helmet. Shepard raised an eyebrow at the action, they were still in a combat zone and removing her helmet now as an extremely dangerous move. Just as Shepard was about to make a comment, Basilisk pulled her helmet off, revealing a face that Shepard would never have expected to see.

"No problem sis. Looks like I had to pull your ass out the fire as well."

A/N: Well thats a reveal of some sort. Shepard's sister is a Phantom. I had some people speculating that she was with Cerberus but no one said anything about her being with CryNet. So there's that.

First real chapter of Virmire, next chapter will go over the STG base and Captain Kirrahe. The assault on the labs will be Chapter 30. I'm thinking that there's probably going to be somewhere between 10-20 more chapters in NE:TGC before we move on to NE2. However I may very well take a break between NE1 and 2 and work on some of my other projects that I've not published because I'm wanting to finish NE1 first. We'll see.

Anyway I hope you enjoyed that and if you have any feedback or questions don't hesitate to ask. I might not answer questions due to spoilers but those that I can I will.

Untill next time
