...
Footsteps crashed almost inaudible in the muddy terrain below her as the heavy rain continued it's onslaught, feet hitting the ground in quick repetitions. She just kept running, she couldn't even feel the tire anymore, her body going numb as a distance runner sometimes experiences. She couldn't have been more thankful "Just need to keep going, create distance..' Stray branches whipping her flushed cheeks, unknowing of small droplets of blood, the pain unrecognized as she pushed herself forward.
It had been quite some time since she began running, an hour by now, and after her first quick bursts, she got into a steady pace. Running HAD never really been her strong suit, however, now, she was feeling otherwise. Thankful, was the word that floated through her mind as she hit yet ANOTHER of those nasty thorn plants into her left shin. This trickling blood, however, she noticed. The little plant had done quite a bit of damage, then she started feeling.. rather... faint.. "woahhhhkayy.. I need, to sit down.' Plopping herself on a rock, Gaz looked at her wound, purplish and bloody. "Great.."
"HAAIII GAZZYY!" "Fuck" she breathed, grunting as she nearly fell over off the rock in weakness and shock. "Gir?! You.. I thought" She sighed in relief "Not that I'm not happy to see you" She said between clenched teeth "But why are you here? Is He.. with you?" "Master? ahh Naww he's at home, lookin' for YOU GAZZY!" the bot closed his eyes and happily stuck out his tongue. "Well?" "YOU GUNNA MAKE A WISH?!" "What?!" "YOU NEED A MAGIC COIN!" He started running in a circle, his little arms flailing above his head. "MAGIIICC!" "GIR!" Gaz exclaimed. "Yes Mistress?" GIr responded, red lit and saluting. "WHY.. are you here?" "Ooooo! That's right, I was on a mission" He started rolling in the dirt. "yayyy mission!" "GIR!" He sat up, looking at her "I can't remember, but Master gave a coordiante, then Mimi hugged me tightly.. " he began hitting his head and giggling, as he moved it to-and-fro, Gaz noticed large, gapping claw damage in the back of his head. "Gir.. you need to go back home... don't tell Zim you saw me though. okay?" "mmmm whhyyyyy?! Master loves you!" Gaz blanched. "Please Gir, for me.." "mmmmm... OKAY!"
"Why are YOU here Gazzy?" She looked at him 'poor, little thing' "I'm here to stay away from people, and Irken. I don't love your master back Gir." 'though he plagues my mind constantly.. those thoughts.. that jerk.' "He would be soooo saaadddd" Gir ran around and started crying hysterically "Master doesn't even LIKE anyone else but GAZZY!" his wails continued as he ran in large circles. "Gir..can I trust you to not say anything about seeing me?" "Hmmm YASS.. for a stuffy!" "a... what?" "A STUFFY BEAR" 'stuffed animal.. where in the world..' "sure Gir.. just let me grab one for you" "YAYY!" "stay here Gir.." Gaz began to look around, noticing the small robot probably didn't hear her as he shoved his body through a rotting log. "Yay, bugs!" 'mmm gross'
'... well this may be a problem.. I'll have to make something here..' Kicking little pebbles in frustration, a large snapping sound made Gaz freeze in place. "What the..." A kicked pebble launched a net-trap, empty, as the rock fell right trough. Gaz unlatched the rope binding it's pulley to a large tree. "this could be just what I need.." 'There aren't any humans to be setting these damn things up.. means they're Irken.. for animals? or humans?.. nevertheless, I need to seriously be careful around here.. maybe find a sharp rock' The distance between each strand of the netting was small, which made it very easy for Gaz to leaf-stuff and tie a bear shape, using two shinny pebbles for eyes. 'Damn, I'm too good at this, I miss my security at home... back then.' Gaz felt her cheeks wetten, cursing for her weakness, wiping her tear streaks. "Gir? Gir!"
Not too hard to find, as Gaz easily followed the smoke, Gir was lying in ashes, a very saddened expression on his face. His head turned to Gaz like an owl, she stepped back. "Gir?" "I-I" he sniffed "I ignited the buggies and their home!" He wailed "Gir.. you really need to go home, Mimi's hug needs to.. be fixed, you are sparking from behind, it wasn't your fault.. I have a suprise for you.. before you go." He stopped crying, and sniffed, standing unusually quietly and looking at her. Gaz pulled her proud creation from behind her back. His blank face immediatlly lit up "My Stuffy, My Stuffy, I LOVE HIM! " He hugges him, with suprisingly gentle care. "Take good care of little Link, okay?" "Yes Gazzy YESS I LOVE LINKY" He ran off giggling, Gaz couldn't help but smile.
Gaz plopped herself on a moss-covered, non-disgustingly rotten log, enjoying the peaceful silence, she had never really spent much time in the woods, aside from Dib dragging her out for some creature-watch, and she felt she should've more.. as a child. "Aren't I still.. a child though.." The sadness of her situation likedto hit her hard, she allowed the tears to flow now, no one around to see, nor care.

Zim
Maps, coordinates, body counts and incident reports, not a damn thing on his Gaz though.. 'Where have you gone my little Gaz, please be well, I feel your distress.' The large doors opened, Zim turned angrily towards the intruder. "You, what is so dire that you enter without permission." The Irken soldier blanched as they realized they goofed, big time. Lord Zim doesn't take kindly to unannounced entrance to his private study and observatory. "My lord, I'm deeply sorry, we have a rather pressing matter with your head bot, he's quite in need of repair, and has set four large curtains ablaze." "Bring him to me at once" "Sir!" The Irken turned to leave. "and Pif.." The Irken visibly blanched as he was refered to by name, rather than position. "Do not show your master such disrespect again" "Sir!" He notably hurried along.
Moments passed before a happily smiling Gir entered the room, alone, as Zim expected. He immediatly noticed the sparking. "Gir, hop up on the table, this wont take too long." Zim turned to his tools, the tentacles of his pac grabbing the Irken welding tool, and a few pieces of titanium sheet. Turning his attention back,he noticed his little bot happily hugging a rather cute, hand made toy... made of Irken snare wire... "Gir.. where did you get that?" He asked, keeping his tone emotionless. "The woods! I got very lost..after I saw Mimi!" he hugged the toy tighter. "His name's Link! Isn't he GREAT!" "Yes Gir, he's quite well made too.. did you find him lying around?" The robot didn't answer as his eyes went black, Zim accidently powered him off fixing his first wound. "Sorry about that Gir.." Quickly rebooting the bot, Zim finished his repairs quickly as Gir sang a wierd version to a human child's ryme. "Row row row your boat GENTLY DOWN A STREAM! HAHA FOOLED YOU! I'm a Submarine! YAYY!" Zim shook his head, a smirk on his face. Gir stood and skipped out when Zim put his tools down. "Bye MASTER!"
The Irken lord was no fool, he knew exactly where he ordered snares to set for human escapies.. and Gir certainly liked that toy.. well made, his Irken soldiers would have had no interest in such a craft. A human was clearly responsible, and he had a good feeling his purple haired human was the culprit. It would take a matter of pinpointing the forest she could be residing in, however, the genius made sure to remove Gir's recording chip of the week when he made repairs. Zim knows how Gir gets around, he'd been keeping weekly records for a while, only watching when something cruicial came up.. how smart he was, Zim grinned. Sure enough, Gir had spoken to his violet haired beauty, Zim even laughed as she thought she'd be able to keep it from him. He watched the clip again, missing her, he called his troop at their HQ, letting them know he'd be out, and to cancel his evening meetings.
He went alone, he had to be stealthy in this matter, his Gaz was frustratingly.. yet alluringly observant. "My little lioness.." Zim chuckled. His cruiser had been set to transparency, and quickly made it's way to the Irken renamed Byton Woods. Pulling the cruiser to a halt as he found the remains of the Irken snare trap. He locked up the cruiser, it flashed a green light, before turning invisible completely. He wandered around for a good half hour, worry growing he may be following a now cold trail. The notion halting abruptly as he came across a tree-branch and leaf tent stucture, and a burnt out fire. His little Gaz HAD been here, but it looks as though she left in a hurry.. "Did she plan on me.." He continued the direction he approached from.
His blood ran cold as his own foot hit the wet ground below him. Red, human blood sploshed beneith his foot. He knew of human religion, yet never could imagine it's implication, until he found himself, praying to.. something that is wasn't hers.. Following the trail, the Irken lord fell to his knees, blood circling him, and his beauty. He brushed the hair away from her porcain face, pale.. She had a large, Irken raygun wound through her chest, a direct shot, through her heart... He spent the night alone, confused and miserable, holding her body as he wept.
