Ginny and Blaise came back with a 'I know what you just did' look on their faces which made me feel slightly embarrassed but happy at the same time. They had brought in more blankets so we could go to sleep comfortably, it was cramped so I ended up falling to sleep on Draco with his arms around me. I saw that Ginny gave Draco a look and Blaise winked, they obviously knew what was developing and I was happy with that.

I decided to wrap the presents when we got back to the castle, surprisingly nobody noticed our absence. Most of the presents were rectangular or were in a rectangular box which made wrapping them so much easier. Draco walked in with a book, smiled at me and then lay down on the sofa and started to read. I organised the presents into piles and looked over at Draco who was engrossed in his book. I couldn't help but notice how attractive he was, I know this sounds mopey but seriously, if you were in my situation you couldn't help but look as well.
"It's rude to stare Hermione." He said with a smile not taking his eyes off his book.
"I can't help it you are just so irresistible." I said with a small smile.
"Really?" He said hopefully turning his head to me.
"No." I said and then laughed at his expression. "Okay, I find you attractive alright." I admitted not really sure why.
His smile came back. "Good because I am." He said and returned to is book.
"Seriously no compliment back?" I asked and moved so I was sat in front of him on the floor.
"Fishing for compliments Granger, unlike you." He resorted still reading his book.
"Merlin he is annoying, why do I even like him?" I muttered but Draco heard me because he turned to look at me with an eyebrow raise.
"Glad that you are admitting it fully now rather than just doing the 'do I like him or don't I?' thing that you kept doing." He said with a smile. He put his book down and looked at me with deep thought obvious on his face. His hand gently cupped my face and pulled me to his lips. I had more control this time so I wrapped my hands around his neck and happily kissed him back.
Blaise's POV:
Ginny and I were just eating casually as you do when Ginny started speaking. "Don't you think it's weird that the lovebirds haven't joined us yet?"
"Well I assumed that was a good thing." This resulted in a playful slap on the arm.
"Well they are falling in love so that's good." Ginny said with a smile.
"Why do you even want them to date?" I asked warily.
"They would be so cute together, and I have noticed Hermione 'checking out' Draco throughout school. Though she would never say that she would just say that 'she was keeping an eye on him'. Plus I think she is probably the best thing that could happen to him." She answered happily and then eating more, you could definitely tell she was a Weasley.
"They haven't started dating yet though but I know Draco has definitely fallen for her, it's obvious, I don't think he has even tried hiding it. Or at least he hasn't hid it from me." This caused Ginny to become really hyper and start jumping up and down, yes she stood up and started jumping up and down. She was drawing a lot of attention so I took her out of the room.
"Can we go to the Room of Requirement to discuss more ideas for them to fall in love." She said with a level of excitement that I didn't think was possible, I couldn't help but smile at her and nod.
When we walked in Ginny almost fainted at what she saw. Draco and Hermione were not just kissing they were snogging. I didn't know whether to say something to interrupt them, to leave and act like I hadn't seen them or just wait for them to stop. Ginny chose the first option but altered it because they were interrupted by her screaming happily and giggling.
"We weren't doing anything." Hermione said quickly, blush covering her face whilst Draco smiled happy with himself.
"Yeah...didn't look like you were." I said smugly and laughed afterwards.
"So...was he good?" Ginny asked Hermione which caused her to blush even more.
"You can't ask me that especially infront of them." Hermione said, Ginny's solution was to drag Hermione out of the room so they could probably talk about what just happened.
"So...quite a snog you just had there." I said with a smile plastered over my face.
"Yeah..." Draco said awkwardly, I have never known him to be this awkward.
"So you really like her don't you?" I asked intrigued with what his answer would be.
"Yeah. To be honest I really do and I don't have a clue of what I can do about it, no one would accept it. What would my father think, my mother would be understanding but my father would go mad." He admitted, he has never been this comfortable around me before. "And I've bullied Hermione since we started here, Hermione's parents would never forgive me."
"Draco stop thinking about consequences. If you like Hermione then you like Hermione you can't help that. Hermione likes you, I can tell. I can also tell that you both don't have the guts to ask each other out. It's not that difficult and I'm surprised that Hermione hasn't asked you out, she's a Gryffindor she is meant to be the courageous one. Draco listen to me, just ask her out. What is the worst that could happen? You get rejected? I doubt that because I have seen the way she looks at you. Her friends don't like it? So what, you're Draco Malfoy you shouldn't give a shit about anyone's opinion but yours. If your parents don't agree you could always live with me, my parents aren't as bothered by things like that."
"You're right. So, now I just have to ask her." Draco said and looked at the floor nervously.
"Draco, just do it for Merlin's sake, Ginny's sake and most importantly my sake. Ginny has been driving me mad so please please please ask her out. Plus I think she is good for you."
Draco nodded and took a deep breath before leaving the room.
