Hermione's POV:
Draco and Ginny were walking hurriedly after me or maybe after the presents following myself, I guess I won't ever know. I led them into the room which I had left Blaise to start organising the decorations. He had not moved from where I had left him in the centre of the room.
"Blaise you were supposed to start sorting through the boxes." I said with a roll of my eyes and sending the presents directly to my room.
"How exactly was I supposed to do that? Did you want it by colour, year it was created, or type of decoration?" Blaise teased with a small smile.
"I leave him to do one job." I said while shaking my head. "What were you even doing while I was gone?"
"Wouldn't you like to know?" Blaise said while raising his eyebrows and winking at me. I proceeded to ignore him and picking up a box and taking it to a sofa to sort through. Draco did the same and sat next to me.
A few hours had passed and we had decided to go for a white tree with multicoloured decorations on it so nobody felt it was biased to a certain house. There were fairy lights scattered over the bookshelf which gave the room a nice homely glow. The aroma of cinnamon and apple filled the room definitely making feel like Christmas time.
Draco was lying in the middle of the floor on a grey carpet with his right arm over his eyes. Blaise was lay horizontally from him with his head on Draco's chest. His eyes were closed. I have no idea when or how this happened, but I didn't really want to separate them. Ginny looked towards me and her eyes flickered to where I was looking and she smiled at me.
"What are we going to do with those two?" Ginny said with a laugh afterwards.
"I honestly have no idea." I replied and smiled softly afterwards. Ginny then ran and jumped on top of both of them causing them to take a deep intake of air.
"Ginny for Merlin's sake get off us woman." Draco sighed and pushed Ginny and Blaise off him which ended up on Blaise being directly on Ginny. Ginny blushed and pushed him off her making him yelp as his body hit the floor.
Draco stood up effortlessly and made his way over to me. He then looked disapprovingly towards Blaise and Ginny who were still on the floor. He then moved his gaze to the rest of the room and a look of accomplishment covered his face.
"We have done a good job haven't we." He grinned while throwing an arm around my shoulders.
I shrugged him off. "By 'we' I hope you mean Ginny and myself because you and Blaise were busy sleeping on the floor." I crossed my arms and shook my head at him.
Draco looked at me with a shocked expression on his face. "I...uh..." I couldn't help but smile at his nervousness. "Are you mad at me?" He finally finished. I didn't answer and walked over to a bookshelf with muggle classics on it. Ginny and Blaise started laughing quietly on the rug. I could hear Draco approach me carefully on my right hand side. I turned my head slightly to acknowledge his presence and turned back to the bookshelf.
"We have been dating for less than a day and I've already annoyed her." Draco said sadly to Blaise and Ginny who I could see shrugged in response. "Blaise, you didn't decorate anything and Ginny is fine with you. Why is she fine with you?" He asked exasperatedly.
"What can I say? I am better with the ladies." Blaise answered with a wink in my direction which caused me to hold in a laugh. Draco rolled his eyes in response. He moved behind me and wrapped his arms around my waist, his chin on my head.
"Are you seriously mad at me?" His breath tickled against my hair. I shook my head in response which caused him to jab my sides with his thumbs. I turned around about to slap him lightly in the chest when his hand caught mind and our lips met. Draco was the one to break the kiss then looked over at Blaise.
"Are you really better with the ladies?" Questioned Draco while motioning at me with a smile on his face and mine. Blaise raised his eyebrows and tilted his head at Draco.
Ginny was the one to speak up. "You two wouldn't even be together if Blaise and I weren't dating beforehand."
I as the least competitive person in the room, when it isn't about schoolwork anyway, grabbed a book called "The Hobbit " from the bookshelf and started reading it on one of the sofas. This was going to go on for a while so I might as well read something, right?
Two hours later...
The two Slytherin boys had come up to this arrangement that they are both as good with the ladies as each other. I found this whole debate odd in the first place. They are both in relationships so why should it matter? Ginny had ended up bored with the debate within the first half an hour and tried to get them to stop but failed. She ended up falling asleep next to me. She could get caught up on homework or revise the next section of work but she probably wouldn't want to do that.
I however had already learnt everything that we are covering this year and completed homework and extra credit work in advance. I like to be prepared in what I'm doing. It also gave me some free time to read the books I need to catch up on or gives me time practicing spells. Or the most likely option: doing other people's homework and classwork for them.
I just know for the next two weeks that this living arrangement is going to be interesting. Two Slytherin males with an ego bigger than their houses and two Gryffindor females who are confident in everything they do. Yep, this was definitely going to be an interesting two weeks.
