I'm not surprised.
So it's been over a year, which is kind of a crazy thought to me because I have LITERALLY been continuing from where I left off in August 2014 for the whole of this past year, so it hasn't even been a break for me. In fact, I've written more than enough for a few lengthy chapters but let me explain.
Recently, I got a PM from someone about this story, asking if I'd forgotten it, and honestly, no I hadn't, but when I started writing 'Little Too Late' I was 12. I was literally 12. Now, I've just turned 16, and my writing style still changes monthly...so imagine how much it's changed in three and a half years!
Over the past week, I've been through all of the old chapters and reread them and rewrote certain parts to what I believe to be a more realistic standard. It's up to you (if you're an old reader) if you want to go bad and reread them. There's not really many major changes but I did take out a few moments which some may consider important. I almost completely rewrote the last chapter as well, so definitely read that one again as a refresher.
Basically, Little Too Late has undergone some editing, and even though I'm still not completely happy with it, I'm happy enough to continue writing it.
Also, another thing I'm more conscious of now is to make this story more canon. When I was 12, I didn't really understand how romantic relationships progressed and although I am still by no means experienced in that area, I like to think I have a less naive, tunnel vision view of life and love. Things might appear to be moving fast in future chapters, but I'll try to justify my reasons for speeding things up as they happen.
So I should be posting a new chapter very soon. Welcome to new readers, and welcome back to old readers. I'm so excited to finish this story with you all!

PS. I mentioned in a previous (now deleted) author's note that this was going to be more of a multi-pairing fanfic, as opposed to exclusively Blackinnon. That still stands although I'm aware a lot of you want more Blackinnon moments. Patience is a virtue and you will be repaid ;)
