The Gang are on hill overlooking a village.
"Even a large castle can be difficult to find." Kimiko states.
"Since we have no clues to its whereabouts." Miroku added.
"Look, you're fully recovered, aren't you? Your goal is also to beat Naraku. Why don't you keep us company for awhile?" Inuyasha's said looking to Sango.
Sango nods slightly and remains silent.
"You sure don't look enthusiastic! We know much more about Naraku than you!" Inuyasha says raising his voice but suddenly continues in a softer voice. "You'll only benefit from coming along."
"Yes… So let us take it one step at a time… For now, we'll gather the Sacred Jewel fragments." Miroku said.
Sango has an intense look on her face.
"If we keep gathering them… Naraku will come for them eventually." Miroku tells the group.
Sango gazes down momentarily and looks up again. Miroku is now kneeling down before Sango.
"I understand that you want vengeance now. But you must be patient." Miroku said trying to comfort Sango.
"All right." Sango replied.
"I do understand how you feel." Miroku tells her.
"Thank you. But Monk… why do you keep stroking me as you speak?" Sango asks annoyed.
Miroku has his hands on Sango's thighs, and Sango is pinching Miroku's left hand.
"Owee…!" Miroku whined in pain.
Kimiko and Inuyasha were watching disgusted looks.
"He was holding back until you were better, Sango." Kimiko tells her.
"Miroku, control yourself!" Inuyasha shouts.
Shippo is floating nearly out of breath, in his pink balloon form. He reaches the gang and transforms back to his usual self.
"Did you find something, Shippo?" Kimiko asked.
"Just over yonder is a large lake… and there's a huge shrine smack in the middle of it." Shippo answered Kimiko.
"A huge shrine?" Kimiko questioned.
Inuyasha is getting agitated by this piece of news.
"Is it Naraku's castle?!" Inuyasha demanded yelling.

Desolate Land
A number of villagers are salvaging the remains. They look despondent. The Gang approach the land.
"A flood?" Miroku asked.
"How terrible… Huh?" Kimiko sympathizes before she notices something.
A procession of villagers are carrying a palanquin.
"It's the procession of the human sacrifice." The First Villager said.
"It was a bad flood this time." The Second Villager added.
"Whose child is it this time?" A Third Villager asked.
"A child for human sacrifice?!" Kimiko says shocked.
"How disturbing." Miroku states.

With Procession
"Headman, please reconsider!" The Fourth Villager begged.
"What are you saying? To protect the village, it's only natural to give up our children." The Headman reprimands.
What's natural about that?!" Inuyasha demanded to know.
The Headman, shocked, looks up to find the voice.
Inuyasha is on the palanquin, with arms crossed.
"Some water god, huh? I'll bet it's just some weird demon." Inuyasha scoffed.
The Headman, is is taken aback.
"A demon who's gotten stronger from a Sacred Jewel fragment." Inuyasha adds before he jumps down from the palanquin. "Don't hide it from us."
"Who are you?! Doesn't look familiar. Look at his ears! A demon?! This is a peaceful village protected by the Water God! Demons, be gone!" The Headman questioned.
"What?! You old fart!" Inuyasha snapped looking agitated.
"Stop it." Miroku chided before he uses his staff to hit Inuyasha's head from behind.
"What're you doing, Miroku?!" Inuyasha demanded turning to Miroku.
"We are not suspicious folk. We travel around the country coming to the aid of those in need. We heard of your misfortune. If you will allow me, I will exorcise this village." Miroku explains to the villagers after pushing Inuyasha aside.
"Huh?! Can you really do that?" A Fourth Villager exclaimed.
"I think that's a good idea…" A Fifth Villager starts to say.
"No, do not be deceived! They are fakes!" The Headman interrupted.
"But headman…Just listen to them…" The Fourth Villager tried to beg.
"If we rely on shady characters and raise the ire of the Water God, who knows what will happen to our village? Besides, how can I approve an exorcism now when it's my own son's turn to be sacrificed? How will I answer to the other children who went before him?" The Headman explained.
A masked child peers out of the palanquin
Kimiko senses the child.
"Is that the child to be sacrificed?" Kimiko thinks to herself holding Yukina closer becoming worried.
The masked child hides into palanquin.
"Before the sun sets, we must deliver the sacrifice!" The Headman reminds before shooing the villagers. "Now hurry!"
Inuyasha's gang gives way and the procession moves on.
"That headman is fishy." Shippo comments.
"He acts like he wants his son to be sacrificed!" Inuyasha exclaimed.
"He was quite upset with our interference." Miroku adds.
"Well, what'll we do? Leave em' alone?" Inuyasha asked the group.
"What are you saying!? We're going to save him! Right?" Kimiko says.
"Yes." Sango nodded in agreement.
"Are you serious?" A Mysterious Voice asked.
Sango and Kimiko are shocked and turn to the source of the mysterious voice. A ditch is where a person wearing a straw cloak appears.
"Then come with me!" The Mysteries Person orders.
The mysterious person runs along, then pauses.
"Hey! Wanna be left behind?" The Mysterious Person questions before he runs along
"What's with that kid?" Inuyasha asked curious.
…
A barrage of valuables thrown onto the ground. The mysterious person is actually a kid.
"You can have 'em. Take your pick." The kid said.
Miroku picks up a kettle-like object from the pile.
"What're these?" Inuyasha questions with his arms folded.
"Oh… quite valuable." Miroku comments.
"Fine silk, too." Sango added picking up a piece of blue cloth from the pile.
"You chosen? Good, you are hired!" The Kid tells the group.
"Hired?" Inuyasha inquiries.
"You were telling the village men just now helping people is your business. So I wanna hire you to defeat the Water God. Got it?" The Kid explained.
Inuyasha starts walking up to the kid. Inuyasha raises his fist and pounds the kid on the head.
"What're are you doing?!" The Kid demanded.
Inuyasha grabs the kid's shirt and pounds him on the head continuously.
"Inuyasha, he's just a boy!" Kimiko scolded.
Inuyasha looks at Kimiko innocently while he continues pounding the kid.
"He needs to be taught who's stronger." Inuyasha explains his actions.
"Hey, apologize even if you won't mean it. Inuyasha can be just like a kid." Shippo tells the kid.

Night Time - Pavilion On A Lake
A boat moving towards the pavilion. The masked child on the boat, who was previously seen in the palanquin.
"The human sacrifice is taken to the shrine in a boat." The kid's voice is heard explaining.

Field
The kid is walking on a field.
"So we'll follow the boat" The kid decided and stops. "and attack just when the Water God appears to devour the sacrifice." He gazes behind him. "Got that?"
Inuyasha, Miroku, Shippo and Kimiko are talking among themselves, ignoring the kid. Miroku has the valuables which the kid offered them in the afternoon in his hands.
"These are stolen goods. I just know it." Inuyasha commented.
"Oh, that's okay." Miroku tells Inuyasha.
"It's not okay!" Kimiko exclaimed.
"Are you listening?!" The Kid shouted exasperated.
"Just whose child are you?" Kimiko asked curious, turning to the kid.
"Humph! It's none of your business." The Kid answered shocked at the question.
"I'll bet you're the real son of the headman." Kimiko declared walking up to the kid and kneels down.
"Oops…!" The Kd said taken aback.
Miroku and Inuyasha also walks up and surrounds the kid.
"Now that you mention it, the eyebrows look just like that headman's." Miroku says.
"Even his cocky manner." Inuyasha added on.

Flashback
The masked child peers out of the palanquin.
"Then the one in the palanquin was a stand-in?" Kimiko's voice asked.
"Yes… I am Taromaru, the headman's heir." The Kids voice answered.
…
Present
"I thought so." Kimiko said.
'Why is the headman's son so eager to do this?" Inuyasha asked intrigued.
"The Water God began demanding human sacrifices half a year ago." Taromaru admits looking down.
…
Villagers are running away from huge waves.
"Heavy rains… flooding…" Taromaru voice explains.
The villagers are now drowning in the huge waves.
"He said in order to lift the curse, human sacrifice was necessary." Taromaru voice continues to explain.
A white arrow hitting the roof of a hut. A woman is hugging a masked child tightly. The husband and headman look on helplessly.
"When a child from the village was selected…" Taromaru voice starts.
"Please bear it… for the village's sake." The Headman requested.
A arrow hits the headman's hut. Taromaru looks at the arrow and his mother holds him from behind.
"Yet when the white arrow landed upon our roof, he told me to hide." Taromaru voice says.
"And he found another child to take your place?" Inuyasha voice realized.
…
"Such a foolish, doting parent." Miroku sighed.
"Foolish, period!" Inuyasha states unimpressed.
"That's why you want to save him…" Kimiko realized impressed with the kid.
"He and I grew up together. I won't let him take my place." Taromaru declared.
"And? I hope you have a boat." Sango said.
Sango is now in battle gear, with Kirara on her shoulder.
"If this human-devouring Water God is allowed to live, my reputation as a Demon Slayer is mud. I'll take care of him alone." Sango tells the group.
"Alone? You're still recovering, so stop acting so tough. I'll bet you can't even wield that heavy weapon yet." Inuyasha scoffed slightly impressed with her.
"Want to try me?" Sango questions serious.
"Anytime!" Inuyasha replied riled up and rolls up his sleeves.
"Inuyasha!" Kimiko scolded turning to face him as Yukina jumped out of her arms ready to battle the Water God.
"Oh well… We received payment for our services. So we must work hard." Miroku said raising his palm in a prayer-like stance.
"Inuyasha, stop alienating people!" Kimiko exclaimed.
"Tell her that!" Inuyasha said in a indignant voice stopping and looks at Sango with a sideway glance. "She doesn't want to be part of us!"
Sango is silent.

Pavilion On The Lake
Inuyasha and the gang sit on a boat which is moving away from the pavilion. Sango is just ahead of them, sitting on Kirara who has transformed and is swimming. The mist on the lake is slowly clearing, revealing a structure.
"That's…" Sango said trailing off.

The Gang On The Boat
"The Water God's shrine gate!" Taromaru exclaimed.
"It's the shrine that I saw this afternoon." Shippo remembered.

Temple
There are two guards. Inuyasha's Gang glides past under it. Sango, Kirara and Yukina reach the stairs of the temple gate.
"The human sacrifice has entered." Sango said.
A fierce looking gate guard moves in a sideway, crablike manner.
…
Boat
"Hide! Gate guards!" Taromaru said frightened.
"Why should we hide?" Inuyasha inquired as he leaps off boat.
The Gate Guards look upwards, still in their crab-like defense. While in mid-leap, Inuyasha kicks the guards in the face. The guards falls to the ground into a pile. Inuyasha lands and gives the guards another kick, sending them away from the gate.
"You're in the way… move!" Inuyasha shouts.
Inuyasha moves up and punches the gate. The gate shatters violently.
"Hurry up! We're goin' in!" Inuyasha yelled turning to the gang.
"He's strong!" Taromaru exclaimed impressed.
…
A person is kneeling, with two demon guards in the temple.
"My master, we brought the human sacrifice." The Guards informed.
The person is in priest-like robes, sitting in the inner sanctuary. His face is hidden by a screen.
"Come closer." The Priest-like Person ordered.
The kneeling person, turns out to be the masked child. He kowtows and is trembling. The Priest-like person in robes is revealed. His Hans a yellow face, large slanted eyes, thin lips with two black dots on his forehead.
"Look at those dirty, calloused hands!" The Priest-like Person shouted.
The hands of the masked child, are trembling vigorously. There are sores on his hands.
"You are not the headman's child." The Priest-like Person states.
The Priest-like person, who rises up.
"What is the meaning of this? You dare deceive the Water God?" The Priest-like Person demanded.
The masked child is in a kowtow position.
"Please, oh mighty God! Please eat me!" The Chid begged and raises his head to face Water God.
A hand suddenly appears and clutches the face of the child. The child is dragged off the ground. The Water God has a stretched elastic left arm, holding the child up in the air.
"You have dishonored me!" The Water God yelled.
The child struggling. The Water God hand cracking the child's mask.
"I will tear you from limb to limb and send you back to the village with the rains." The Water God said angrily.
A commotion is heard in the background. His gaze turn away from the child. The guards are falling and defeated.
…
Inuyasha, Sango and Miroku are sprinting.
"Hey! Move, move!" Inuyasha shouted.
"How dare you! This is a sacred house!" The Guards yelled.
Inuyasha raises his right hand to punch to guards.
"Shaddup!" Inuyasha snapped.
Miroku bashes the guards with fish heads. Sango bashes the other guards. A amphibian-looking guard crashing onto the floor. His head turns into foam, his clothes flatten, and a crab crawls out from the clothes.
"A crab!" Shippo exclaimed shocked.
The fish-head guard, whose head turns into water and a fish flaps from his clothes. A surprised looking Kimiko, Shippo and Taromaru.
"They're all bewitched fishes and crabs!" Shippo shouts.
Inuyasha is slashing apart a screen.
"There you are!" Inuyasha said landing in front of the Water God, who is still clutching onto the child by the face. "So you're the Water God that devours humans.
"T-Taromaru!" The Child stammered.
Taromaru, arrives at the scene looking anxious.
"Suekichi!" Taromaru exclaimed.
Taromaru rushes towards Suekichi, but is held back by Inuyasha, who grabs him by the collar. The rest of the gang also arrives at the scene.
"Calm down!" Inuyasha demanded.
"Aha! You appear dirty, but you're actually the headman's son." The Water God said.
"Yes! Now that you know, release Suekichi! I am your human sacrifice!" Taromaru confessed and pleaded.
"Hey, why'd you hire us then?" Inuyasha questioned dragging Taromaru up in the air and turns turns to Water God. "You talk big as Water God but you stink!" Inuyasha said and releases a flinging Taromaru back to the gang.
The Water God reached for a trident with his right hand. Inuyasha in mid-flight with a transformed Tetsusaiga.
"You reek of demon!" Inuyasha shouts and lashes Tetsusaiga, which meets the Water God's trident.
Sparks fly and Inuyasha is thrown back violently. Tetsusaiga transforms back to its rusty state. The gang surrounds Inuyasha, shocked by the transformation.
The Tetsusaiga's power has been thwarted!" Inuyasha said in disbelief.
The Water God's trident starts glowing.
"A demon's sword like yours is no match for my sacred weapon, the Trident of Amakoi. You have committed a grave crime in defacing my shrine! You will pay with your lives!" The Water God declared.
He taps the ground with the trident, and magical waves are emitted. They spread out and hits Inuyasha's Gang. Inuyasha glares in disbelief at the power of the trident. The gang starts to find the waves overwhelming, which quickly changed into water waves. The force of the waves washes everybody away rapidly. The whole place is engulfed in water.
"I'm underwater…!" Inuyasha said and notices Kimiko has been knocked unconscious. She is grabbing onto Taromaru and a de-transformed Yukina, while Shippo is grabbing onto Kimiko's right calf. "Kimiko!"
Inuyasha's shout wakes up Kimiko. She notices Inuyasha.
"Kimiko!" Inuyasha yelled anxious.
A boulder is washed by the waves and hits the back of Inuyasha's head.
"Inuyasha!" Kimiko called reaching her hand out.
Inuyasha is knocked unconscious by the boulder and sinks into the depths of the water. Kimiko is being dragged away by an undercurrent.
"Inuyasha!" Kimiko shouts and hand still outstretched towards the sinking Inuyasha.
A light appears at the end of the current and transport Kimiko, Yukina, Taromaru and Shippo onto a dry place. She coughs. She is lying on the ground holding Taromaru and now waking up Yukina. Taromaru and Shippo are still unconscious. Kimiko looks up to find Water God with a blue aura around him. They are back at the temple.
"He intends to eat the boy! I must do something!" Kimiko thinks becoming determined with a resolved look appear on her face.
Suekichi creeps quietly behind the Water God towards a torch stand. He grabs it and swings it towards the Water God. Before he manages to hit the Water God, he is grabbed by his stretched left hand and flung onto the ground. Kimiko with a determination on her face and her bow in her hand gets up.
"Now's my chance!" Kimiko said reaching for an arrow in her quiver and draws the arrow. "Hit the mark!"
Shippo regains consciousness in the background and sees Kimiko firing the arrow. The arrow's flight is stopped short when the Water God grabs it with his stretched hand. The arrow emits pink rays. The Water God gets thrown back. The rays melted the flesh on his hand, revealing snake-like skeletal cartilages.
"I-impossible… How can this body succumb to a human arrow…?!" The Water God asked shocked.
Shippo is sitting on top of the unconscious Taromaru with Yukina who transformed back into her bigger form to protect the two.
"Will you snap out of it?!" Shippo demands and slaps Taromaru cheeks vigorously with both hands.
Taromaru regains consciousness. Kimiko runs towards Suekichi. Suekichi stands up.
"Thanks… Are you all right?" Kimiko asked concerned.
"Yes!" Suekichi Answered.
Taromaru, Yukina and Shippo join them.
"Suekichi!" Taromaru called relived.
"Young Master Taromaru!" Suekichi replied happy to see him.
Suekichi and Taromaru are about to hug when Kimiko reluctantly interrupts them.
"Hurry!" Kimiko said.
The four of them run off. The Water God gets up, with red glowing eyes. Kimiko's group runs outside the temple. Kimiko looks back checking for Water God.
"Keep running until Inuyasha comes for us." Kimiko ordered.
The Water God has a blue aura and red eyes.
"How dare a young wench like you injure my arm…! I shall impale you!" The Water God yelled angry.
Outside the temple, on a rock on a lake, Sango lays unconscious.
"Sango… Sango! Get a hold of yourself!" Miroku shouts gently shaking her.
Kirara looks at Sango, concerned and meows. Sango remains unconscious.
"She's swallowed too much water. I must breathe air into her." Miroku said.
Miroku bends down to 'resuscitate' Sango. Before his lips touches hers, Sango's eyes open. A loud slap is heard. Miroku has a red palm print on his face, while Sango is furious her eyes squinting and hand shaking. Miroku has his back towards Sango and his arms are folded.
"You misunderstood my intentions." Miroku explained.
"W-where am I?!" Sango asked looking around.
"Outside the Water God's shrine." Miroku answered turning towards Sango.
"When I came to, I found myself here, too." Miroku explained before he notices something.
An unconscious Inuyasha is on the lake, drifting towards them.
"Is that Inuyasha?" Miroku asked.
Two gaudy pink goldfish with head accessories and thick red lips emerge from under Inuyasha. Miroku and Sango drag Inuyasha onto the rock.
"Thanks… Did you save us, too?" Miroku asks the goldfish.
"Yes." The Goldfish say together.
"From your appearance, you seem to be in service of the Water God." Miroku comments.
"The Water God is an imposter!" The First Goldfish exclaimed with big tear drops form on both goldfish's eyes.
"He used to be a water sprite like us that live in the lake." The Second Goldfish explained.
"But he resorted to trickery, sealed the true one in the crag over yonder…" The First Goldfish said as both look toward a further spot.
"And he took the sacred weapon, the Trident of Amakoi and declared himself the Water God!" The Second Goldfish finished explaining.
Sango and Miroku look towards the spot which the goldfish were referring to.
"I understand now. We must rescue the real Water God." Miroku said.
Inuyasha regains consciousness.
"Fool!" Inuyasha said getting up but is still a little woozy. "How can you be so easygoing!"
Inuyasha coughs.
"I'm going back to the shrine!" Inuyasha declared standing before he leaps off while Sango tries to stop him.
"Saving Kimiko comes first!" Inuyasha yelled with a determined and resolute look on his face.

Hut - Inside
Taromaru, Suekichi, Kimiko and Shippo are hiding. Shippo and Kimiko are peeping out of the hut. Outside the Water God appears. His body is now elongated, like a snake and rises above the hut.
"The footsteps have ceased!" Shippo said.
Kimiko notices something and gasps. The Water God has enveloped the hut with his elongated snake-like body. It squeezes the hut and the hut shatters, revealing Kimiko in a curled-up position. She uncurls herself and looks around. The Water God appears behind her.
"I will kill you first!" The Water God yells.
Kimiko turns around and gasps.

With Kirara, Miroku And Sango
Kirara and boat with Sango and Miroku in it.
"Are you going to leave Inuyasha to deal with the Water God alone?" Sango asked Miroku a little worried.
"Inuyasha alone will be more than enough." Miroku reassured
"Is he that strong?" Sango inquired.
"He's also very shrewd." Miroku added.
The boat approaches the spot where the real Water God is sealed.
"Knowing the state of your emotions right now, he normally wouldn't act so hostile." Miroku tells Sango.
Sango's head is tilted listening to Miroku seated at the back of the boat.
"But Inuyasha knows that fighting is what will ease your pain right now. That's why he's acting the part of the vengeance seeker." Miroku explained Inuyasha's actions while Sango looks down in a pensive mood. 'But maybe I'm reading too much into his behavior."
The limb of Water God wraps around Kimiko's ankle and trips her. She falls onto the ground. The trident approaches at high speed. Something stops the trident short. Inuyasha with transformed Tetsusaiga blocks the trident's blow on Kimiko. Kimiko looks up.
"Inuyasha!" Kimiko called out relived.
"Damn!" Inuyasha cursed looking at Tetsusaiga. Contact with the trident transformed Tetsusaiga back to its rusty state. Inuyasha turns to Kimiko looking concerned. "Kimiko… Is everyone safe?"
"Yes!" Kimiko replied.
Yukina, Shippo, Taromaru and Suekichi emerge from under some planks.
The Water God is escaping!" Shippo shouts pointing.
The Water God disappears among the mist. Inuyasha runs to the edge of the platform.
"Where are you, Water God?!" Inuyasha demanded angry.
The trident emerges from the water underneath and crashes into the platform. Inuyasha's view is blocked by some foam. The Water God limb reaches out and grabs Inuyasha into the water.
"Inuyasha!" Kimiko yelled panicked.
Shippo looks very worried.
Inuyasha bursts out of the surface of the water, gasping for air, and dragged back into the water. Inuyasha gets enveloped by the Water God's body. The Water God emerges and rises into the air.
"So you've shown your true self! Fake Water God! Without that trident, you're just a lowly creature!" Inuyasha scoffed.
The Water God moves towards Inuyasha at high speed.
"Why you…!" The Water God says becoming angrier.
The Water God slashes at Inuyasha with the trident but Inuyasha dodges by leaping into the air. The tail of the Water God, curled around Inuyasha's ankles, drags him deep into the water.
Sango, Miroku and Kirara arrive at the rock formation where the real Water God is sealed.
"Where is the cave in which the real Water God is held captive?" Sango inquiries.
"I believe around here…" Miroku answered.
"Is someone there?" A Female Voice questioned.
"Huh?!" Miroku exclaimed surprised.
"A young woman's voice." Sango comments.
"Who is there?" The Voice continued to question.
"Could it be… the Water God is a goddess?" Miroku realizes as his expression change from surprised to serious.
Sango is taken aback.
"Hurry and unseal this cave and free me!" The Voice shouts.
The source of voice is coming from a rock with a piece of paper incantation on it. Miroku kneels in reverence.
"Right away!" Miroku replied and gets up to peel off the incantation.
A bright light emits from behind the rock and expands out, blinding everyone. Miroku and Sango shield themselves. After the explosion, Miroku looks around.
"Goddess?" Miroku asked confused on where she could be.
"Here." The Real Water Goddess answers.
Miroku and Sango look surprised and peer into a small glow. The real water goddess is in her goddess-ly attire. Miroku exclaimed shocked. Miroku and Sango peer into a small cave.
"So… beautiful… but… you are so tiny… I couldn't even if I wanted to…" Miroku somewhat compliments.
"Wanted to what?!" Sango questioned furious.
"Nothing." Miroku said trying to placate Sango as he raises up his hand in a prayer stance and closes his eyes. "All is vanity."

With Inuyasha
The Water God is underwater with Inuyasha.
"Damn! I can't breathe…!" Inuyasha says struggling.

With Kimiko, Yukina And Shippo
Kimiko and gang are on the platform.
"Inuyasha!" Kimiko shouts worried as Yukina walks up to Kimiko trying to comfort her.
"He's not coming up!" Shippo yelled sweating.
"Kimiko!" Sango called out.
The gang turns around to find Miroku with the real water god on his palm, Sango and Kirara rush towards them.
"You're all okay?!" Miroku exclaimed relieved.
"Inuyasha was dragged underwater!" Kimiko explained.
"Let me down! I shall subdue this fake Water God." The Real Water God ordered.
"Yes, Water Goddess!" Miroku replied lowering the real water god onto the platform.
"Water Goddess?" Kimiko inquired confused.
The real water god takes off one of her earrings which look like a bunch of red grapes.
"Parting Waters!" The Real Water God called out throwing the earring into the water.
Underwater the earring emits light.
"Hmmm? What…? T-that's…!" The Water God says.
The light from real water god's earring explodes and creates a void underwater.
"The waters have parted!" Miroku exclaimed impressed.
"There's Inuyasha!" Kimiko shouts relieved.
The trident moves at high speed, hitting the platform. The Water God rises in mid-air.
"To think you freed the Goddess! Well now, I'm the real Water God!" The Water God yelled.
"Without her sacred trident, even the real Water Goddess is powerless!" Miroku realizes.
The Water God rushes towards them.
"Now you shall all die!" The Water God yelled.
Inuyasha appears suddenly from behind the Water God.
"Why you…!" Inuyasha growls out digging his claws into Water God's back.
The Water God turns around and moves away from the platform with Inuyasha on his back. Sango is running.
"Kirara!" Sango calls out and leaps. Kirara transforms and Sango sits nicely on her.
Sango aims her Hiraikotsu at the Water God. It hits.
"Fool!" The Water God yelled. Hiraikotsu returns to Sango. "Now you shall feel the power of the Trident of Amakoi!" The Water God swings the trident high up into the air.
The trident emits a glow and dark clouds start to gather and swirl.
"The sacred trident is calling forth rain clouds!" Taromaru yelled.
The Water God has a glowing trident high up in the air, while dark clouds gather.
"Now!" Sango declared and swings Hiraikotsu at the Water God.
The trident blocking Hiraikotsu, forming an air current which knocks into Sango.
"Sango!" Kimiko gasped with the rest of the group, except for the real water god.
The Water God is high up in the air with massive currents forming around him. Sango who was knocked off Kirara's back. The Water God aims his trident at her while she is falling.
"Die!" The Water God demands.
Inuyasha's hand appears and grabs Water God's arm, halting his attack on Sango.
"Sango! Are you all right?!" Inuyasha asked.
Kirara flies by just in time. Sango is back on Kirara.
"Inuyasha!" Sango shouts back.
Inuyasha grabes the Water God's arm.
"I'm sick and tired of you, Fake Water God!" Inuyasha shouted and breaks off Water God arm holding the trident.
Water God's body knocks Inuyasha away. Water God's face transforms, and his robes fall away to reveal a vicious looking snake. It opens its mouth and aims toward the falling Inuyasha. Kimiko and Yukina notices what is happening.
"Inuyasha!" Kimiko yelled out as Yukina goes after Inuyasha.
The Water God bites onto Inuyasha's left arm which holds the trident.
"Enough is enough!" Inuyasha declared and raises his right arm and smashes it into Water God's head.
Both Inuyasha and the Water God falls into the water, while in the background, the air currents that the Water God summoned previously have transformed into twisters.
"The twister is heading for the village!" Kimiko shouts.
"The village will be hit!" Taromaru yelled back worried.
"Calming a twister is a simple matter." The Real Water God said proudly.
"Really?" Kimiko asked happy.
"Then please…hurry!" Taromaru requested.
"I shall, so hurry and retrieve my trident!" The Real Water God also requested.
Inuyasha and Water God burst out of the water surface.
"Inuyasha!" Kimiko called out beginning to panic again.
Inuyasha's arm is still in the mouth of Water God.
"Don't worry! I won't get killed by the likes of him!" Inuyasha reassures.
Kimiko is holding the real water god in her palm.
"Stop bragging! Hurry and get the trident!" Kimiko says becoming furious and closes her fits, thus crushing the tiny real water god momentarily.
Inuyasha looks a little piqued with a small blush on his cheeks.
"Dang it… I thought she'd worry at least a little more about me." Inuyasha's grumbled out.
The Water God dives into the water again. Inuyasha bursts out of the water surface and spitting.
His hand is freed from the Water God's bite.
"Awright! Take it!" Inuyasha shouts and flings the trident towards the platform.
The Water God suddenly emerges and crashes into Inuyasha, flinging him far away. The Water God then hits the trident, making it fall into the water some distance away from the platform.
"I got it!" Taromaru yelled and dives into the water.
"Taromaru!" Kimiko shouts startled.
Taromaru dives underwater.
"I am the headman's son! I must save the village now! Or I won't be able to face all those killed by the fake God." Taromaru thinks determined.
Taromaru reaches the trident, grabs it, but Water God tail appears from behind and fling him into the air.
"Young Master Taromaru!" Suekichi called out.
The Water God's tail moves at a high speed. Hiraikotsu is spinning towards the tail and slashes it into bloody halves. Inuyasha falls into the water. Yukina, Kirara and Sango dive in after him. Sango grabs onto Inuyasha's arm while Kirara and Yukina swim. They burst out of the water surface and fly as Sango tosses Inuyasha onto Yukina.
"Pretty fancy stuff, Sango." Inuyasha complimented impressed.
"It's nothing." Sango says turning towards Inuyasha.
"I'll aim for its head." Inuyasha tells Sango.
"All right." Sango agreed as the four of them do an aerial dive. "Let's go, Inuyasha!"
"Leave it to me!" Inuyasha says and jumps off Yukina dives into the water.
Taromaru is holding the trident but is unconscious and sinking.
"Eat this! Tetsusaiga!" Inuyasha yelled drawing out his sword.
Tetsusaiga transforms and Inuyasha aims it at the Water God's head. It slices through its mouth and continues its slice down the long snake body. The two halves of Water God is seen, as the twisters still loom ominously in the background.
"I shall deliver the final blow." Miroku says removing the beads from his right hand.
Miroku uses the Wind Tunnel to suck in the two halves of Water God's carcass. Inuyasha leaps out of the water with trident in one hand and Taromaru in the other.
"Here you go!" Inuyasha said landing on the platform with Yukina who transformes back as Inuyasha hands the trident over.
Kimiko kneels with the Trident of Amaoki in her hand. Kimiko, Yukina and Shippo are looking at the real water god.
"Water Goddess, please." Kimiko requests.
The Real Water God raises her hands and touches the trident. The light starts to surround her and she increases in size until she is 'normal'.
"She's grown!" Shippo says in amazement.
The real water god as the trident in her hand.
"Dispersing Clouds!" The Real Water God shouts raising the trident.
The trident glows and emit waves, dispersing the dark clouds. The looming twisters die down. Light rays start to appear from behind the clouds. Shippo lets out a cry of joy.

On A Hilltop
Taromaru and Suekichi look far ahead.
"Have they all gone?" Suekichi asks.
"Yup. I couldn't even thank them properly. They risked their lives to save the village." Taromaru replied.

With Inuyasha's Gang
Inuyasha is tired looking.
"Cripes! We went and fought a stupid snake who didn't even have a Sacred Jewel fragment!" Inuyasha complained making Kimiko amused as she walked next to hi, with Yukina on her head.
"So what? We came to the aid of the needy." Miroku comments.
Miroku is on a horse, with valuables laden on the wagon. The gang is on the road again.
"What's all this anyway?" Inuyasha inquiries.
"Well… that is… When I mentioned to the headman perhaps we should tell the villagers about his son's brave deeds, for some reason, he gave us all…" Miroku sheepishly explained.
"That's blackmail!" Inuyasha snapped
"Does he always do such things?" Sango questions whispering to Kimiko.
"Sometimes…" Kimiko said frowning and a little embarrassed.

"When I grow up, I wanna be like them." Taromaru declared with a hopeful and determined expression.

Inuyasha's Gang
"We'll sell these off and celebrate!" Miroku said.
"Ahhh! I'll never help humans again!" Inuyasha decided sighing.
Kimiko smiles grabbing Yukina from her head and hug her smiling while whispering. "No you won't." Making Inuyasha look over at her wondering why she had so much faith in him.
