Overview Of A Village
"What is it?! A fire?" One villager asked.
"Slaying of demons." Another villager informed.
Village Square
Sango in battle gear. Huge clouds of smoke is seen emerging from a hut.
"Smells awful!" The first villager complained.
"What's all this smoke?" The third villager inquired.
Sango wears her gas mask, with Hiraikotsu ready for action.
"Got that? Send them this way!" Sango orders.
Kimiko is fanning the smoke of burning incense in bamboo container. She is wearing a mask too, with Yukina and Kirara by her side.
"Like we're getting rid of insects." Kimiko realizes taking off her mask. "Sango, are you about ready?"
Inuyasha is all woozy, lying in the middle of the village square. Shippo looks at Inuyasha.
"Is this one of the demons?" A fourth villager asked.
"Inuyasha's nose is awfully sensitive." Shippo tells the villager.
Miroku notices a beautiful woman in the village crowd. She walks away.
"How beautiful!" Miroku thinks and leaves the crowd to follow her.
"Hey Miroku! Where're you goin'?" Shippo questions.
"It's coming! Get back!" Sango orders.
Shippo turns around and gets into a preparatory stance. red orbs appear among the smoke. The smoke dissipates to reveal a three-eyed vicious looking demon. It lets out a roar. Hiraikotsu rushes downwards. Hiraikotsu hits the demon. The demon looks like a mutated rat, and Sango is simply squatting and killing the demon with one effortless flick of her Hiraikotsu.
"Kimiko ! It's all right now." Sango calls out to her friend.
Inside A Room Of A House
Inuyasha is still woozy. Shippo is eating.
"Inuyasha, do you still feel sick?" Kimiko questioned concerned rubbing Inuyasha's back before looking around. "Huh? Where's Miroku?"
"He went after some strange woman." Shippo told everyone.
"W-what?! While we were working?" Sango asks walking into the room.
"She was awfully pretty. He probably went and asked her to have his baby." Shippo added eating another snack.
"Huh?! A b-baby?!" Sango exclaimed shocked and blushing.
Sunset
A beautiful sunset, with silhouettes of Miroku and beautiful woman, standing quite far apart.
"I see.. so you are the princess of a very prominent clan." Miroku said.
"But my clan was ruined by war. And I am the last survivor of my House. In order to restore my family, I wish to bear the child of a strong lord." Beauty explained.
"And you sought me out?" Miroku asked placing his hand on his chin. "Such fine taste."
"Will you heed my request?" Beauty asks running over to hug Miroku.
After a few seconds of hugging, gigantic mantis claws appear from the beautiful woman's back.
"I thought it was too good to be true." Miroku sighed looking away.
Miroku shoves the woman away and hits her on the head with his staff. The demon sheds its human skin to reveal its true form.
"Giant mantis disguised as a woman!" Miroku says.
"I devoured the insides of the real one!" Mantis tells Miroku.
Giant mantis attacks Miroku with his claws but Miroku dodges. He jumps onto its forehead, somersaults and lands behind the mantis.
"You picked the wrong victim!" Miroku informed and removes his beads. "Wind Tunnel!"
Miroku sucks the mantis into his Wind Tunnel, but the sharp edges of its giant claws cuts Wind Tunnel, causing slits to appear around the perimeter.
"Damn! My Wind Tunnel got nicked!" Miroku said worried.
Back At The Village
Dinner time for the gang. Sango and Kimiko glaring silently. Miroku looks at them apprehensively.
"I don't know if I'm imagining it, but the girls have been looking at me quite coldly." Miroku whispered leaning over to Inuyasha.
"Didn't you just go to pick up a woman?" Inuyasha asked.
Sango and Kimiko are sitting separately, away from Miroku, Inuyasha and Shippo. Kirara and Yukina are napping.
"That's why they think you're a lecher." Inuyasha tells Miroku.
"I'm so misunderstood. You may not believe me…" Miroku starts to explain.
"We don't." Kimiko interrupts.
"You're lying." Sango adds.
"I wish you'd hear me out at least." Miroku says.
Sango, Kirara, Yukina, Shippo and Kimiko are sleeping. In another room Inuyasha is sleeping in an upright position. Miroku is looking forlornly at his right hand. Miroku tries to clench it and lets out a groan.
"Shucks… It still hurts." Miroku says and turns over to lie on his back. That praying mantis made my Wind Tunnel bigger."
Flashback
Young Miroku is running with outstretched hand.
"Father!" Young Miroku yells,
An old monk runs behind young Miroku, trying to catch up with him.
"Do not go! Miroku!" The Old Monk shouts.
"Father! Father!" The Young Miroku continues to yell. The old monk catches up with him and holds him back. "Let me go, Master Priest!"
"You will be sucked into your father's Wind Tunnel, too!" The Old Monk shouted.
A huge flash of light and sound of wind.
"Father!" Young Miroku gasped.
The Old Monk looks away.
Present
Miroku is staring at his right hand. morning at the village.
"He went out before dawn?!" Inuyasha exclaimed.
Inuyasha's gang is talking to an old man.
"Yes, the monk said that he was going on a journey, and to wish you well." The Old Man said.
"That Miroku! Always acting on his own!" Inuyasha said piqued.
Miroku is sitting on Haachi the tanuki, who has transformed into his bulbous flying form.
"My father got sucked into his own Wind Tunnel and disappeared without leaving a trace. In time, I probably will end up dying like that." Miroku says.
"Miroku, I can see it!" Haachi said.
A gigantic hole is in the ground some distance away. Miroku and Haachi land. Miroku and Haachi walk past the hole.
"W-what's this giant hole?" Haachi asked curious.
"This? This is my father's grave." Miroku revealed.
Miroku walks away and Haachi offers a prayer.
A Temple
"Master Mushin, are you there? It's Miroku!" Miroku calls out .
A drunk Mushin is snoring away.
Miroku walks up to the sleeping Mushin "Cripes… drunk as usual." Miroku kicks away the clay jar on which Mshin's head was lying on. Mushin's head lands on the floor with a loud thud. "Wake up! You drunken monk!"
Mushin sits up with a headache. "Oh, it's you, Miroku. So you're still alive?"
"Master Mushin, if you keep drinking to excess, you won't live long." Miroku reprimanded kneeling.
"Did you come here to lecture me?!" Mushin questioned scratching.
"Well… A demon nicked my Wind Tunnel. Will you repair it?" Miroku said.
Mushin who still looks drunk takes Miroku's outstretched hand. "Let me see…" He gasps. "Huh?!" Mushin looks up at Miroku seriously. "You will die tonight!"
Miroku is very worried.
"Not! Just joking!" Mushin shouts flapping his right palm.
Miroku stares at Mushin, squints and thumps him on the head. A huge bump appears on Mushin's head.
"Do you want to be sucked in?!" Miroku exclaimed reaching for the beads.
"Now, now… Calm down." Mushin says and picks up the clay jar which Miroku kicked away, reverting back to a serious tone. "I'll stitch it up, but I must warn you. Until the wound is completely healed, you cannot expose your Wind Tunnel."
"And if I do?" Miroku inquired.
"The Wind Tunnel will spread from the nicks and hasten your death. I will no longer be able to help you." Mushin explains and stands up. "Now then, I will get my medicinal herbs." Mushin slings the clay jar over his shoulder. "Go and thoroughly purify your dirty self."
Waterfall
"Hmm… So that Master Mushin is the one who raised you?" Haachi asks.
Miroku is in white robes sitting in a yoga-like stance under the waterfall. Haachi sits on a nearby rock.
"Yeah… Everything bad, I learned from him." Miroku adds.
"He acts gruff, but he seems very kind." Haachi says.
"I guess." Miroku chuckled.
Temple
Mushin looks into the distance.
"That Miroku… Going timid over little nicks like that. Well, I can't blame him. He's had such a tragic life." Mushin thinks somberly.
Village
The Inuyasha gang is in a room, Shippo, Yukina and Kirara are playing in the background.
"Why did Miroku leave us like that?" Kimiko questions leaning on a parapet.
"Isn't it 'cuz you treated him so coldly yesterday?" Shippo asks them.
"Huh?!" Sango and Kimiko say surprised.
"Hah! As if he's so sensitive!" Inuyasha denies walking into the room.
"Err… Master Inuyasha…" Myoga says appearing suddenly on Inuyasha's shoulder.
"Old Myoga? You're here?" Inuyasha asks.
"Yes. Actually, I returned last night. And the monk was acting strangely." Myoga informed looking worried.
"Whaddya mean?" Inuyasha inquired.
"He kept staring at his right hand and seemed deep in thought. I'm not sure what he was thinking about…" Myoga tells the group.
Kimiko walks up to Inuyasha and Myoga.
"Inuyasha, let's find Miroku." Kimiko tells Inuyasha.
"Huh? Did something happen?" Myoga asked curious.
"Yes… but we're not sure what." Kimiko answers.
"Find him? But how?" Inuyasha asked his own questions.
"Well…" Kimiko trails off looking away.
"Leave 'im alone! Finding the Sacred Jewel fragments is more important!" Inuyasha reminds frowning.
"Miroku… what happened?" Kimiko thinks becoming more worried.
Temple
Mushin is preparing some herbs.
Mushin looks out of a window. "It's still day, but unusually dark."
Two red orbs appear suddenly in the background. The dark silhouette reveals a demon. Mushin turns around and notices it.
Mushin drops his cup. "W-who are you?!"
The demon holds up a clay pot with a thin neck. Streaks of fumes are emitted from the pot. It engulfs Mushin and he gasps and struggles.
Haachi is dozing off with Miroku's staff in his hand. He is guarding a room.
Inside the room Miroku is resting with shut eyes on a tatami. Mushin walks up to him and sits down.
"Did you take your medicine?" Mushin questions.
Miroku opens his eyes. "Yeah. I feel quite groggy."
Miroku shuts his eyes.
Mushin places his palm on Miroku's forehead. "Sleep. It'll be over soon."
"I'm counting on you. Frankly, I don't want to die…" Miroku tells him and dozes off.
Mushin lifts up his palm from Miroku's forehead. Streaks of fumes emitted from Mushin's mouth.
Mushin chuckles evilly. "Difficult you're not. I'll put you at ease soon."
Mushin takes out a cleaver from under his robes.
Forest
Inuyasha's Gang is traveling through a forest. Sounds of birds flapping away and chirping in ominous tones.
"What is this?" Sango questions.
"I don't like it. Inuyasha!" Kimiko frowns holding Yukina closer.
Inuyasha is in a defensive stance, getting Tetsusaiga ready. He unsheathes it and slashes a tree trunk. The trunk falls apart to reveal a bee.
"Naraku's toxic insects!" Kimiko shouts.
"Hiraikotsu!" Sango calls out swinging Hiraikotsu in the bee's direction and slices off its wings.
The bee still tries to escape. Hiraikotsu returns to Sango.
"This time, it's dead!" Sango shouts determined.
"Wait! If he's keeping us under surveillance, something must've happened to Miroku!" Inuyasha realized and sheathes Tetsusaiga. "I'm following it!"
Inuyasha runs after the bee.
"Okay!" Sango agreed following.
"Hey wait!" Kimiko calls getting on a transformed Yukina.
A cleaver is swinging downwards at a dozing Miroku. His eyes suddenly open. Sound of cleaver hitting heard. The pillow is sliced into two. Miroku dodges and falls on all fours. His shoulder is injured by the cleaver though.
"Oh… are you still awake?" Mushin asks.
"W-who… are you?!" Miroku asked sweating.
"In exchange for a fragment of the Sacred Jewel, I promised Naraku to kill you. I'm the Demon Worm Charmer." Mushin revealed chuckling evilly.
Miroku gets up. "Naraku?"
Miroku feels weak and falls.
Mushin walks up to Miroku chuckling. "You can't move anymore. The medicine has numbed your body." Mushin raises cleaver. "Go in peace!"
Miroku dodges and hits the door. The door panel falls and slams onto Haachi who was guarding outside.
"Miroku!" Haachi shouts.
Miroku is reaching weakly. "My staff!"
Haachi hands the staff to Miroku and he uses it to block Mushin's cleaver. Fumes emitted out of Mushin's mouth.
"Err… Umm…" Haachi said nervous.
Haachi raises his paws and creates a puff of smoke. The smoke dissipates. Mushin turns around to find Miroku and Haachi gone.
"I won't let you get away!" Mushin yelled.
Haachi is running while piggy-backing Miroku.
"Hurry and save yourself!" Miroku orders Haachi.
"I… I can't…!" Haachi tells Miroku.
Miroku looks backwards. "Look well… the demons are gathering."
Haachi stops and look back. "Huh?!"
White orbs of light are gathering towards them. Faces of demons are shown within the orbs.
"If you stay with me, you'll die." Miroku says and shoves Haachi away and falls backwards.
Haachi rushes back to Miroku whose back is flinching in pain.
"Master Miroku!" Haachi calls out.
"Just go! I can ward them off until the medicine wears off." Miroku told Haachi.
"B-but…!" Haachi started to say.
"Just do as I say!" Miroku shouted.
"Alright!" Haachi reluctantly agreed turning around and runs away.
Miroku looks on and flinches in pain.
Haachi transformed in his flying form, floating it the air.
"He talked big, but no way he can handle it alone! Inuyasha must be close by!" Haachi thinks becoming determined.
Sounds of bees are heard. Sweat drops form on Haachi's forehead. He looks back to find a huge drove of bees chasing him. He attempts to speed away, but the bees catch up with him and sting him. He screeches.
With Inuyasha's Gang
Inuyasha's Gang is trailing the bee.
"This is our only clue. Don't lose it!" Inuyasha tells Kimiko on Yukina with Shippo behind her.
Kimiko nods in determination. Shippo notices something and gasps.
Shippo points to the sky. "Hah! More insects!"
Inuyasha looks up. "What?!"
A spinning Haachi who's is attacked by bees. He spins downwards to Inuyasha's Gang with huge teardrops in his eyes.
"Help!" Haachi yelled.
Haachi crashes into the ground and transform back to normal.
"You're…!" Inuyasha says to Haachi recognizing him and leaps off and slashes his claws at the bees. "Iron-Reaver, Soul-Stealer!"
Some bees are destroyed. The rest pack up and flies away into the night sky.
With Miroku
Miroku is seated crossed legged and creating a barrier.
"I fool around with a woman and have to pay with my life… Such is my fate. So this is it." Miroku thinks.
Inuyasha's Gang
Inuyasha's Gang are sitting on the flying form of Haachi. There are little plasters on his foreheads.
"Miroku is in danger, after all!" Kimiko says.
"He can't use his Wind Tunnel right now!" Haachi informed the group.
"Can't use it?" Inuyasha asks feeling a little worried.
"His Wind Tunnel got nicked. Before the monk became weird he was saying if Miroku used his Wind Tunnel, the nicks would allow the hole to spread wider, shortening his life, which is already short. There's the temple!" Haachi explains.
White demon orbs are surrounding the temple. They transform into a current of long streaky demons rushing towards Inuyasha's Gang. Haachi gasps in horror.
"Go right through 'em all, Tanuki!" Inuyasha shouts.
Inuyasha draws his Tetsusaiga. Haachi dives into the demon current. Inuyasha slashes them away. Sango also deploys her Hiraikotsu.
"I… ain't… gonna… waste my time here!" Inuyasha yells slashing.
With Miroku
Miroku's barrier is weakening. Demons, including two gigantic praying mantis close in on him. Miroku was seated in his father's grave. Miroku is sweating.
"If you want to eat me, go ahead. Unlike someone else, I accept death with grace." Miroku says weakly shutting his eyes. "I won't go fighting, like Inuyasha."
A demon current charges towards Miroku. Before the two giant mantis reach Miroku, they are slashed apart. Miroku, surprised, opens his eyes to look up to find Inuyasha standing at the perimeter of the hole.
"Miroku! So this is where you've been hiding!" Inuyasha shouts.
"Inuyasha… you've come for me!" Miroku thinks becoming happy.
"Miroku, you are…!" Inuyasha growls out.
Shippo leaps from behind Inuyasha, lands on his head and leaps off again. "Miroku!"
Kimiko and Yukina appear from behind Inuyasha and Kimiko shoves him aside. "Miroku!"
Kimiko and Yukina reach Miroku.
Shippo leaps into Miroku's arms. "Idiot! Why did you disappear without a word?!"
"How could you?!" Kimiko demands. Haachi also reaches Miroku. "We worried so much!"
Sango on Kirara's back, lands around the perimeter looking worried. "So you're okay, Monk?"
"I see…they are all here." Miroku thinks relived.
Kimiko turns backwards. "Inuyasha, say something!"
Inuyasha swings Tetsusaiga over his shoulder. "Huh…?" Inuyasha's embarrassed. "Never mind! Inuyasha whispers to himself. "You said everything I meant to say."
"Who goes there?!" Mushin demands appearing near Inuyasha with a string of giant beads slung over his shoulder. "I shall punish anyone who disturbs the peace of my temple!"
"Are you the monk called Mushin?" Inuyasha asks swinging Tetsusaiga. "Interesting…fight me if you dare."
Kimiko carries Miroku with the help of a transformed Yukina. Them, Haachi and Shippo are climbing out to the hole.
"Inuyasha…please…don't kill him!" Miroku pleaded weakly.
Mushin chuckles. "Good boy! After all, I am the one who raised Miroku."
Inuyasha brandishes his sword. "Feh! Who cares about that?! Prepare yourself, you old monk!"
Mushin throws his string of giant beads in Inuyasha's direction and it wraps around Tetsusaiga. It discharges an electric current and transforms Tetsusaiga back to its rusty state.
"Tetsusaiga's transformation was thwarted." Miroku states.
The string of beads then wraps around Inuyasha, making him drop Tetsusaiga. A demon current appears behind Mushin and charges towards the gang.
Inuyasha releases one arm from the beads. "Iron-Reaver, Soul-Stealer!"
The demon current is destroyed.
"Feisty boy…" Mushin comments.
Mushin makes a gesture when his fingers and the beads discharges sparks. Inuyasha is thrown onto the ground.
"Damn! What's going on?!" Inuyasha swore.
"You are bound by my special magic, yet you can still move? But I wonder how long you can last?" Mushin explains.
White demon orbs gather around Mushin. Streaks of fumes also surrounds MUS.
"W-what's that…coming out of the monk's mouth!?" Kimiko asks unsure if she really wanted her question answered.
Myoga leaps out of nowhere onto Kimiko's shoulders. "Demon Worms!"
"Old Myoga!" Kimiko exclaimed.
"The monk is controlled by that." Myoga informed.
"Can't he be saved?" Miroku inquired.
"There must be a Demon Worm Charmer nearby. Find him and take the pot away and aim it at the monk. The Demon Worm will leave him and return to the pot." Myoga answered Miroku.
Inuyasha destroys another horde of demons with his claws.
"All right. Let's search, Old Myoga!" Kimiko orders wanting to help.
Myoga is nervous. "What?! Me too?"
Sango lands with Kirara near Kimiko. "Kimiko! What's going on?! The demons aren't decreasing."
"Inuyasha's in danger too." Kimiko says worried.
Myoga leaps off Kimiko onto Sango's shoulders. "Sango, I'm glad you're here!"
"Old Myoga!" Sango said noticing him.
"Feel safer over there?" Kimiko inquired frowning.
"Err…no…" Myoga said jumping.
Shippo runs and points to a spot high up. "Kimiko, look!"
The Demon Worm Charmer is squatting on the roof top of the temple and blowing into his pot.
"There's no mistake! That's the one!" Myoga said.
Kimiko fires an arrow in the Charmer's direction. It barely misses him and he runs away.
"He got away!" Kimiko shouts.
Sango starts sprinting. "Let's go after him!"
Kimiko and Shippo follow Sango. Inuyasha is gasping for air.
"These sutra beads are draining my strength… Damn! I'm starting to feel weak." Inuyasha thinks frustrated.
Demon sounds are heard. Inuyasha looks up to find a huge horde of demon orbs above the rooftop.
"You no longer have the power to fight back the swarm. Do you wish to be devoured alive? I shall be benevolent and chop off your head first. These are scum demons that have no taste. Scum demons devour only scum!" Mushin tells Inuyasha.
Inuyasha glares at Mushin and clenches his fist. "Don't get your hopes too high, stinkin' monk!" Inuyasha jumps and grabs Mushin by the neck. "Die"
Inuyasha raises his other hand to attack.
"Only I can cure him. I am the only one who can repair Miroku's Wind Tunnel. Left as is, he might all be sucked into it tomorrow." Mushin reminded Inuyasha.
Inuyasha lets go of Mushin in exasperation. Mushin takes the chance and the send another current through Inuyasha's body using the beads. Inuyasha yells in pain.
"Resign yourself! Everyone in this temple will soon die!" Mushin shouts.
A big mega demon current rushes downwards from the sky. Miroku is removing the beads off his right wrist.
"Miroku! You can move now!" Haachi said relieved but notices what Miroku is trying to do. "The Wind Tunnel!"
"Haachi… prepare yourself. You and I will probably be sucked in." Miroku tells Haachi in a resolute voice.
A mega swarm approaching them.
"Rather than be eaten by their likes, this is much better!" Miroku say loudly.
Haachi is taken aback. "Huh?!" He becomes resolute. "Yes sir! I'll follow you, Master Miroku!"
Miroku removes the beads. "Here goes!" He stretches out his hand. "Wind Tunnel!" Demons are being sucked in. "Haachi! Support me!"
"Yes sir!" Haachi replied and supports Miroku from behind to help him stand more stably.
Inuyasha notices and turns around. "Miroku!"
"The fool!" Mushin said but became worried. "He'll suck in the Sacred Jewel fragment!"
Inuyasha turns back to face Mushin and thinks. "He's losing strength!"
He gathers his energy and breaks the bind of Mushin's beads on him.
The string of sutra beads breaks and Mushin raises his arm over his face to shield himself from the impact of the beads. Inuyasha takes the chance and slugs him in the face.
"Go to sleep!" Inuyasha orders and rushes off.
Miroku's Wind Tunnel is still sucking in demons. His powers wane and the Wind Tunnel spreads around his palm.
"I can't hold my place!" Miroku yells
The Wind Tunnel suddenly stops sucking. Miroku and Haachi falls backwards from the inertia. Inuyasha's hand reaches out in time to grab Miroku's right hand. Haachi, however, continues his fall into the hole.
"Inu…yasha!" Miroku says.
"Damn it! If you try to open your Wind Tunnel again… I'll break this arm!" Inuyasha threatened furious.
The to rest of the mega demon swarm continues charging towards them.
Inuyasha walks up to the rusty Tetsusaiga. "You can die if you wanna! But don't die so easily when you're with me!" Inuyasha picks up Tetsusaiga. "Feeling guilty of abandoning you…" Inuyasha brandishes the sword and faces the demon swarm. "Isn't something I'll enjoy…" Tetsusaiga transforms, Inuyasha faces the HUGE demon swarm. "…waking up to in the morning"
Inuyasha slings Tetsusaiga over his shoulder and swings it in the direction of the swarm. Suddenly a light engulfs the swarm and the entire demon swarm disintegrates.
"W-what…?!" Kimiko stutters.
"The demons have all been…" Shippo also stutters.
Haachi is supporting Miroku.
"blown away!" Haachi shouts.
Inuyasha is standing still with Tetsusaiga at the end of its swing. Disintegrated demon pieces fall from above.
Inuyasha is also stuttering and extremely shocked. "What just happened?!" He looks at glowing Tetsusaiga. "Huh?"
"The true power of the Tetsusaiga for the first time!" Kimiko exclaimed proud of Inuyasha.
The Demon Worm Charmer running across the roof top. Sango with Hiraikotsu is in attack mode.
"You won't get away!" Sango yelled and swings Hiraikotsu.
Hiraikotsu slices the Charmer in mid-flight, and his pot falls towards the ground. Shippo gasps, runs, slides, grabs the pot just before it hits the ground and lets out a sigh of relief.
Sango, Shippo and Kimiko are holding the pot towards the fallen Mushin. Streaks of fumes appear around Mushin's mouth and enters the pot. The three of them look in amazement. Kimiko then closes the pot carefully.
"It's all right now." Kimiko said relieved.
Morning - Temple
Inuyasha, Kimiko, Yukina, Shippo, Sango and Kirara are sitting outside a room and waiting patiently.
"He's taking so long." Shippo complained.
"He has to stitch up the wound. It takes time." Kimiko tells him.
Mushin opens the door and holding his clay jar. "Fool… being so reckless."
Kimiko gets up and runs towards Mushin. "Monk! How is Miroku!"
"He's asleep." Mushin answered and turns to Inuyasha. "You there… Inuyasha? Come with me."
Mushin and Inuyasha are at the back of the temple.
"Hey Monk… I hope you did a good job stitching up the Wind Tunnel." Inuyasha told him.
Mushin turns around and leans on the parapet. "I did what I could, but the Wind Tunnel had spread further."
"You mean his life is shortened?! How much longer does he have?" Inuyasha demanded worried.
"I don't know. Miroku's Wind Tunnel was created by a curse placed upon him by Naraku the demon." Mushin said resigned and looks at Inuyasha. "Hence, if Naraku is destroyed, the curse is lifted and Miroku's life will be spared. The sooner you get him, the better. That is the only way."
Inuyasha has a concerned expression. He nods gravely.
Miroku is resting. Kimiko, Shippo, Sango and Haachi sit around him.
"He's very strong-willed. How can he always be so cheerful?" Sango asks.
"Hmm… I'm sure that actually he worries about each and every day." Kimiko answers Sango's question.
Miroku wakes.
"Huh? He's awake!" Sango exclaimed gently.
"Miroku!" Shippo calls.
"You'll be all right. The monk stitched the Wind Tunnel." Kimiko tells him in a hopeful tone.
Miroku raises his right hand to look at it, and gasps in horror. Sango, Kimiko and Shippo hover above him, worried.
"Anything wrong with your hand?" Kimiko asks anxious.
Suddenly Sango blushes. Sango's back is being where Miroku is groping her butt. A loud thump is heard. An angry Sango is with a wooden basin in her hand. Miroku has a huge bump on his head.
"Master Miroku…" Haachi says with a sweat drop on his left temple.
"Committing sexual harassment even now?!" Kimiko exclaimed a little relived Miroku was back to normal.
Inuyasha and Mushin are peeping in.
"He ain't gonna die for a long time." Inuyasha says matter of factly.
Mushin grunts in agreement. "The Miroku blood is to be feared!"
