Aya kicked Sasuke away as she said, "No matter the attack, if it is unable to make contact with the target, it is as if you do not know it to begin with."

Sasuke said, "DAMN YOU!" and rushed at her, switching to the movements that he had spent the last month learning and kicking at Aya.

Aya sighed and stepped back, out of the range of Sasuke's kick, letting his foot pass in front of her face. She then stepped forward as Sasuke lost his balance, overcommitting to the kick and kicked his other foot out from under him, causing him to collapse to the ground in a heap. Aya quickly went through a number of hand seals and stomped her foot into Sasuke's stomach, causing him to scream in pain as he started to bleed internally, saying, "Narabinaki Shounimahi no fūinjutsu!" and arcane symbols extended from her foot, completely wrapping around Sasuke. She said, "Now, on to your little friends."

When Sakura saw Aya stomp on Sasuke's stomach, she cried out, "Sasuke!?" Unable to believe what she'd just seen, she dropped to her knees, forcing Shino to have to bring in a wall of his insects to protect her against the barrage of shuriken that would have torn through her body. His eyes widened as Aya burst through the wall, bringing her knee into Sakura's stomach, sending her flying back into the wall of the hospital, knocking her unconscious.

Shino reached his right hand towards Aya and clutched it, saying, "Hijutsu: Mushidama!" causing the kikaichū wall to collapse and surround Aya, all at once. But, before too long, all of the kikaichū rushed away from her. Shino blinked and frowned, recalling one of the insects to him as he ordered the rest to go after the attacking foreign ninja. He said, "What did you do to my kikaichū?" in a dispassionate tone.

Aya looked at him with a raised eyebrow and said, "Oh? You're different from those two," flicking her thumb at Sakura first, then pointing in Sasuke's direction.

"I find expressions of emotion such as those displayed by the members of Team Seven fruitless in the field."

"Hm. A fair point I suppose, but, I find that emotions, no matter how hard they have tried to be suppressed, have a tendency to make their way into battle regardless."

"In the end, there is no point to this conversation either."

"So, you're saying that you want to fight then, do you?"

"I would be hard pressed to fare as well as Sasuke did if my kikaichū are unable to attack you."

"So, a traditionalist, are you?"

"A…I'm sorry. I fail to understand your meaning."

Aya sighed and said, "You Aburame, you're all the same, I swear. You all use those bugs to do your fighting for you. Not that I have anything against it myself mind you, it just tends to lead to a drop in your other skills. That said, far be it for me to talk about traditionalists. My family was the same after all."

"I see. Then yes. In that way I am. Now, could you please tell me what you did to scare my kikaichū off? They lack a sophisticated nervous system, so it cannot have been genjutsu."

"Heh, if I told you that, then I wouldn't be much of a ninja, Aburame-bonshu."

Shino grunted and said, "If you wouldn't mind, I would suggest that my teammate would make a far more interesting opponent for you to battle."

Aya said, "You know, I really do wish that I could take you up on that offer, but, unfortunately, I've got a job to do," and used a shunshin jutsu to get behind Shino and said, "Shogen Fūin!" tapping the area above his chakra well. Shino stepped backwards, raising his elbow at Aya's face, but she wasn't there anymore, instead, she was at his side and punched him, sending him tumbling away.

Kiba, seeing Shino slump to the ground, exclaimed, "Shino!" sliding to a stop. He said, "Akamaru!" crouching down to let Akamaru jump onto his back. He said, "Jūjin Bunshin," transforming Akamaru into a more feral version of himself, chakra exuding from their bodies. He then said, "Gatsūga!" and Kiba and Akamaru rushed at Aya, spiralling at an immense rate, granting the attack a penetrative force that it would have otherwise lacked.

Aya's eyes narrowed, following the path of the two as she rapidly formed hand seals. Before she was done, she had to jump up and, in the air, she said, "Araihebikami no jutsu!" Aya's hair grew longer and denser as chakra flowed into it. She kept it growing until there was around five meters of it and brought it into two clumps that formed into two snake heads rushed at Kiba and Akamaru, grabbing them out of the air as they spun at her and slammed them together, knocking Akamaru unconscious.

Kiba, still trapped, called out, "Akamaru!" as Aya's hair flung his companion off into the distance. She slammed Kiba into the ground just as reinforcements arrived. Aya turned to one of them and said, "Nohara Rin," her hair returning to its normal length as it started to flail about, her eyes glowing red.

Rin said, "Aya. What are you doing here?"

In the forest, Akiko said, "Alright, Gaara. It's time to show you just how outclassed you and that rat are." And thought, 'Kumiko, time to reunite the world with the truth!' and bit her thumb as Kumiko handed over her chakra. Akiko formed the hand seals for her summoning and said, "Kuchiyose no jutsu!" When she slammed her hand on the ground, she was surrounded by a large cloud of smoke.

Within the Shishienjin barrier, Hiruzen's eyes widened at the sight of the nine massive tails that he could see flailing about over the top of the arena's roof. He said, "That's…not possible!"

Orochimaru curiously said, "What's not…!" stopping when he turned to see what Hiruzen was looking at. He said, "That isn't the Kyūbi!"

"No," Hiruzen agreed, grinning at the sight. "But it would appear that Akiko has come upon an unexpected ally in her fight against the Ichibi."

Orochimaru said, "It won't matter in the end."

"How do you figure that?"

"When we're done, you'll no longer be amongst the living, and whatever that is, will be sealed away within a jinchūriki under my control."

"What makes you think that? Even with your increased skill in Juinjutsu, your skill still pales in comparison to Minato's."

"Oh, that's right. You didn't know, did you?"

"What's that?"

Orochimaru grinned and said, "The night of the Kyūbi attack, some of my shinobi were passing by the village and…"

When he saw the fox appear in the horizon, Jiraiya thought, 'Naruto! Has he lost control? No. That Nine-Tails is red, so this white one can't be it. Did something happen to Naruto that prevented him from summoning Gamabunta?' He smirked and said, "Either way, this is fortunate for us." He saw the shinobi around him start to freak out and back away from their line at the sight. He sighed as he thought, 'Well, that's hardly surprising, all things considered.' In a loud voice he said, "Fear not, that isn't the same nine-tails that attacked thirteen years ago. I don't know how it's come to be here, but it is clearly here to fight against the Sand's Ichibi, not to attack us!"

One of the Konoha shinobi said, "It's on our side? The Nine-Tails!" then, in a jubilant tone, he continued on to say, "If the Nine-Tails is on our side, then we actually have a chance!"

Another said, "Yeah, Jiraiya's right! We can win!"

As the sentiment started to spread through his troops, Jiraiya stared at the white nine-tails and thought, 'You'd better not prove me wrong about this too, Naruto.'

The same thing was happening throughout the forces of Konoha, though the speech differed from commander to commander, some of which included unspoken thoughts of relief that the civilians had been escorted to shelters by that point. Aya's and Rin's head shot towards the roar as soon as they heard it and Aya said, "Is that…mothe…no! She's dead! My sister died that night too, so how could this be?!"

Rin said, "She's not dead, Aya."

"What? Don't you dare try to lie to me about that, Rin!" Aya said, her focus returning to the blight on her existence and she rushed at her, drawing her tantō and clashing it against a tri-pronged kunai that rin drew to defend herself.

"I'm not lying," Rin stated.

Aya glared at the kunai that Rin was using and said, "You even dare to use that kunai!"

Rin said, "Of course I do, Aya. It's the only memento I've got from Minato-sensei."

"It belongs to me!" Aya said, drawing a tri-pronged kunai of her own to throw at Rin, who stepped to the side, bringing her kunai around Aya's blade and forced it down as she stepped behind her and stabbed at Aya, who brought her hair down to wrap around Rin's wrist and held it in place as she tightened it.

As Aya tried to break her wrist, Rin reactivated her Jin'ei Musha, her shadow transforming her tight-fit, forearm length, gloves into armour, stopping Aya's hair from squeezing any tighter. Rin streamed fire into her kunai and flung it upwards, spinning as it went, aiming to cut Aya's lock, but, Aya felt the heat and released her hair's grip before jumping forward and streaming her chakra to her feet, forming a platform that let her spin around so that she was, once again, facing Rin. When Rin moved towards her, Aya brought her left hand in front of her face, and her right by her side, both of which were forming half-ram seals. She said, "Hebi-jūryoku no juinjutsu," and black marks burst out from where Rin was standing, circling around in a spiral pattern. Rin felt a massive weight start to press down on her, which was only amplified by the density of her Gen'ei Musha jutsu. She then said, "That should keep you held up until I'm done."

Rin growled out, "Aya! What are you…going…to do?"

Aya turned back to face Rin and said, "I'm going to put an end to that Nine-Tails to ensure Konoha's destruction." She then jumped to the closest rooftop before making her way to the site of the battle between the two tailed beasts.

Orochimaru said, "Well, that Nine-Tails' appearance aside, I think that I'll finish my ritual now," and produced two kunai that had paper tags attached to them by some cord. He then placed them against the backs of the Shodai and Nidaime Hokage."

Hiruzen said, "How far you've fallen, to have to rely on such a jutsu," shaking his head in regret.

Orochimaru grinned and said, "I don't remember saying anything about relying on it. I just find that controlling powerful tools is far more interesting than trying to push myself when there is no need."

Hiruzen sighed and said, "Shinobi are not 'tools'! I thought that I taught you that much at least."

Orochimaru licked his lips and said, "You taught me many things, sensei. But that wasn't one of them.

Just then, Tobirama turned to Hashirama and said, "It would appear that we've been summoned by the Edo Tensei, brother."

"Hashirama grunted and said, "I thought that I forbade you from conducting further research on that vile abomination, Tobirama!"

Tobirama grunted and said, "You were always too soft-hearted to do what had to be done. That's why I had to make the hard calls."

Orochimaru said, "That's great and all, but now, you have a Hokage to kill," getting the two former Kage to focus on the reason that he'd summoned them.

The two Senju brothers struggled against it, but they turned to face Hiruzen. Tobirama said, "Sorry, Sarutobi. It looks like we've got no choice," and disappeared in a shunshin. Tobirama appeared in multiple places at once.

Hiruzen, seeing the technique, thought, 'The Zanzō Bunshin. It's been a long time since I've seen someone use it. But even Uchiha Shisui wasn't as proficient in its use. It's hardly surprising since it was originally one of sensei's jutsu.' He leapt into the air, making hand seals as he rose. When he was at the apex, he said, "Katon: Ryūen Hōka no Jutsu!" and breathed out many fireballs shaped like dragon heads that collided with every image of Tobirama at once. Howver, he had left one untargeted by the dragon heads. At it, he formed additional handseals and said, "Yōton: Kagandan no jutsu!" and shot a ball of molten rock at it. Tobirama didn't even try to avoid it and was consumed by the molten rock.

Orochimaru thought, 'Sarutobi was holding back something like that from me for all those years!?' and frowned in anger.

Tenshi Fūin: Natural Elements Seal

A seal that reverses the flow of the victim's chakra, inhibiting their control, but not to the same extent as the Gogyō Fūin.

Araihebikami: Wild Snake Hair

This technique uses chakra to temporarily enhance the head's metabolism and manipulate the hair that grows longer and the ends form into the heads of a snake. There is also chakra flowing through the lengthened hair, making its hardness comparable to that of steel wire. By thickly bundling the hair, its strength is further increased, also increasing its destructive power.

The user uses their kikaichu to surround an enemy before rushing forward all at once to drain their chakra.

Nohara Rin

Jin'ei Musha: Man's Shadow Warrior

A jutsu that uses the caster's shadow to form a set of black chakra armour that takes the form of whatever she is wearing at the time. It also increases the density of her clothes, increasing their weight.
