A modern Elizabeth and Darcy story - American grad student Elizabeth Bennet meets William Darcy on holiday in the Highlands low angst, HEA

Despite being well-matched in both intellect and passion for each other, Elizabeth and Darcy have to undergo painful chastening, admit their errors, enlarge their perspectives, and see matters through the eyes of the other before they can love each other. We are certain that Elizabeth and Darcy are, like iron that sharpens iron, equally matched.

Modern. Just a light, silly, happy (super-belated) Christmas story. Darcy offers Lizzy a temporary job. Lizzy accepts reluctantly. Just maybe, Darcy wants Lizzy to fill a more significant role in his life. But who’s going to be naughty? And who’s going to be nice?

Another Timeline. This time it will be Charles'. At least for a time...

This is an Elizabeth and Darcy story that mostly only deviates from cannon in that it is set in modern times in Western Australia. It is also first person from Darcy's point of view. So, old story, new setting. Rating based on the occasional expletive, f-words redacted :)
