Even if they all demanded explanations, last night was a blur. And Natsu's head was painfully throbbing thanks to the alcohol. Heck, his shirtless state didn't make it any better. Ah! His muffler! His precious white muffler! Where was it-
"Put this on." Gray suddenly covered Natsu with his own blazer and bundled the pinkette's neck with the white muffler he found somewhere.
"M-Master Gray? Why?" Juvia asked, as if voiced the others' thoughts.
"Why what?" Gray asked back.
Exactly.

No one had any idea where to start, so they all stayed silent.
"H-how about we start cleaning while cooling our heads down?" Mirajane suggested hesitantly.
Cleaning session was... very quiet and awkward. Nobody talked more than necessary and only some rustling sounds of objects being moved or cleaned could be heard.
Natsu definitely could feel all eyes on him. But everytime he turned around, his friends immediately looked away. He sighed and continued wiping the tables.
"Ahem... Guys..." Gray could feel the stress and as a good boyfriend, he decided to help his beloved out. "Seriously, what's with this awkwardness?"
Natsu looked at his boyfriend in confusion, followed by the others except Sting who'd been zoning out and wiping a same small spot on the window for a whole thirty minutes.
Gray sighed. "Natsu is a guy, so what? Every day he dresses as he usually is, wearing trousers and sneakers, unless when he's in his maid uniform. He's a hardworker, cheerful, strong, helpful, and I don't think he could lie about his character. That's just the way he is, doesn't it?"
"Gray..." Natsu murmured.
"I personally have no problem with this guy," Gray patted Natsu's shoulder, "being here with us. Not at all."
Natsu was very touched by the preach because his boyfriend stood up for him. The first time someone other than Wendy (and his old man of course) did.
"... Umm... I also don't mind having Natsu here as a guy..." Lucy suddenly stated. "I mean, that aside, he always deals with all our problems so at least I owe him that much. And I gotta confess, I've known about this since a week ago and... honestly I'm fine with it. There's nothing change, he's still the same Natsu we know."
The blonde haired girl smiled as she approached the pinkette to stand next to him.
"Aw, geez... I knew it's gonna happen eventually." Cana sighed. "I've known since the beginning and it's my fault as the one who encouraged Natsu to work here without telling you guys."
"But I'm the one who accepted him. So it's my fault." Mirajane continued. "If there's anyone who has to take responsibility, it's me."
"G-guys..." Natsu didn't know what to say. What if they fought because of him? It's going to be a freaking civil war.
"Whoah, calm down. What's with this side picking?" Hibiki said as he and Loke exchanged glances. "We never said we had any problem with... this, didn't we?"
"Y-yeah." Loke nodded. "We woke up light-headed and tired, only to be shown a shocking visual revelation the very first thing in the morning- I mean noon. It's not like our brains could proceed this bizzare information when we're still woobling on the line between drunk and sobber. Even my head's still painfully throbbing right now..."
Hibiki then added. "I even thought I was too damn high for seeing Natsu as a guy, but I guess not? And I think nobody has to be responsible for anything. It's just..."
"It's just... well, we can talk about this later, nicely. Right now, let's focus on cleaning first." Loke successfully got Lucy's affection for the smart thing he just said.
They all stayed in silent again for a while, but it's much less awkward than before.
"So... You got anything to say to us?" Gray smiled at his boyfriend.
"Ah..." Natsu was panic for a while but he managed to collect himself. "I'm... sorry... for all this mess. It wasn't my intention to keep it secret, but I grew fond of you guys and was afraid to ruin the joyful moments I have here. Selfish, I know, sorry. But now I've gained the courage, so let me reintroduce myself for real this time."
His friends were now all smiling at him. The pinkette closed his eyes and inhaled slowly before grinning back at them.
"Hello, I'm Natsu Dragneel. My pink hair is genuine, inherited from my mother. And I'm a guy. Nice to meet you all!" He proudly reintroduced himself.
"Nice to meet you too, Natsu" His friends said simultaneously.

"Good afternoon, Master! Welcome to Fairy Tail Cafe! I'm Natsu and I'll be your maid today! Natsu's at your service!"
If anyone wondered why Natsu still worked as usual at the cafe...
"There's no 'You're-fired' thing coming out from the bosses, right?" Cana and Mirajane said. And the girls somehow agreed to it.
So there he was, working like nothing happened. Well, there were no bosses for a whole two weeks in the cafe, except Gray. But he only came in the morning as usual, just for the secret date. Tiny guilt filled Natsu's chest for giving the guys shock therapy.
As for the girls, fortunately they're more composed and accepting.
Well, not really actually. The pinkette almost got himself castrated when the girls realized everytime they changed clothes, he's always there, he saw. But dear Mom in heaven. It's not entirely his fault. It's also the girls fault for shamelessly stripping whenever and wherever they wanted. Natsu was just accidentally there at the right time and the right place. Amen.
"I still don't understand how and why you stripped yourself on that party night." Gray asked one morning.
"I was tired and thirsty after babysitting all of you! I drank straight from the nearest glass, thinking it's my tea but it turned out to be Cana's beer. The last thing I remembered was... dizzy... and very hot..." Natsu retorted. "By the way, how're Sting and the others?"
"Fine. They keep coming to Mag-U everyday. But yeah, they're not behaving like usual, especially Sting. That guy just suddenly stopped being a skirt-chaser." Gray said. "Don't worry. They're big boys, sooner or later they'll get over it."
Natsu nodded half-heartedly.
The next month, Loke and Hibiki finally came to the cafe. But still no Sting around.
"I think my 'sense-of-women' ability has started becoming dull. So I went to train myself with Ichiya this past few weeks. But I still can't get used to the fact that you're a guy, especially seeing you in that uniform." Hibiki sighed.
"Sshh! Not too loud please!" Natsu shushed him immediately. Who's Ichiya? And what the fuck was 'sense-of-woman' ability? But he didn't need to know, thanks.
Loke became even more protective towards Lucy. He didn't like it when his beloved blonde got too close to the pinkette. But Lucy just loved to tease Loke by not-so-accidentally being that close. Just how many times Loke had 'stabbed' him with his murderous glare?
"Are you sure you still want to work here as a maid? No offense, we're fine with it as long as you are. But we won't hold you back if you're... well... uncomfortable with this." Hibiki asked.
"Yep. I'm happy to be here." Natsu grinned. "I wouldn't have it any other way."
"You should thank Gray." Loke nudged the raven next to him. "He said it should be up to you wanting to stay or not because you really are doing a great job here aside from your gender."
"Oh? He must really love me so much then. Thank you, Master Gray." Natsu teased.
They all laughed at the joke, when it's actually not really a joke.
And Juvia almost drowned the pinkette if not for Lisanna holding her back.

"I hate shopping. I'm traumatized." Natsu grumbled.
"But you love me. You better hurry or I'll go in there." Gray said while waiting outside the changing room.
"Come in and you're dead, pervert."
It's the first time the couple had a city date. Not actually a date because Natsu wore his most manly outfit ever (Gray insisted on buying those for him, white shirt, grey vest, plus black jeans), complete with a grey newsboy hat and his muffler of course. So it's more like two guy friends hanging out with each other rather than a couple. While Gray wore plain black shirt with the sleeve rolled up to the elbow and blue jeans trousers, plus a pair of glasses, and he looked hella fine. At least that's what Natsu thought.
Or everyone thought.
The pinkette knew his boyfriend was charming. Wherever they walked, all females' eyes were on the raven haired guy. At Fairy Tail, he never really paid attention to the popularity because Gray was always with the other three bosses. But outside, he could see it clearly.
That the raven haired boyfriend of his was indeed very charming, he couldn't help chuckling a little.
"Omigosh, Gray! Hey!"
The two stopped and turned to where the voice came from.
"Bella? Hey." The raven raised his eyebrows.
"Hanging out with your friend? Hey there! I'm Bella." The pony tailed brunette haired girl introduced herself.
"I'm Nat-...han. Yeah, Nathan." Natsu's heart pounded furiously because of the lie he somehow decided to tell in the last few seconds.
"Hello, Nathan. Nice to meet you!" Bella shook the pinkette's hand eagerly. "I don't think I've seen you around?"
"He's my roommate when I joined student exchange program in London last year. Just here for short vacation." Gray skillfully lied as well.
"Y-yeah! And you're Gray's friend from...?" Natsu asked, trying to avoid any awkwardness.
"From Mag-U! And not just his friend, I'm his future wife!" Bella winked.
"Hey, how many times do I have to tell you, stop saying that to everybody, they'll misunderstand. We're not even dating." Gray sighed.
"But you're still single!" Bella said eagerly.
"Who said Gray's still single?" Natsu suddenly snapped. "His girlfriend will be very pissed if anyone casually claimed this guy."
Bella's eyes widened hearing the statement. "G-Gray... has a... g-girlfriend?"
"Hey-
"YES!" Natsu shouted, beated Gray's voice.
Before Bella could ask any further, the raven excused himself and swiftly dragged his boyfriend to stop him from blurting out anything he'd regret later.
"... Idiot... What have you done..." Gray face-palmed after they're far enough and hidden in an alley. "Are you ready to tell the whole world about our relationship? Not that I mind, but you?"
"I only tried to defend you! And myself, obviously. And it's the truth you have a 'girlfriend'!" Natsu snorted while pointing at himself. "I wouldn't tell her any name. I just... wanted to clarify that you already have someone, so she'll stop pestering you."
Gray patted Natsu's shoulders. "I really appreciate it, but I gotta tell you something. That Bella girl, is the vice president of Gray-fan-club in Mag-U."
"... What kind of fucking stupid club is that?" Natsu frowned in disgust.
"The kind of stupid club that watches and updates every activities of mine and shares them with the club, or even spreads leaflets if there's big news for the whole Mag-U. Sting, Loke, and Hibiki also have their own club. The different thing is, those three sometimes visit the club and willingly 'update' their own stories, while I don't. So Gray-fan-club has to sniff out the news themselves and you just gave them a jackpot." Gray explained.
"..."
"You're trying to help, I get it, but I didn't expect you to blurt out like that. I was about to deal with her like I usually did." Gray sighed.
"Sorry..." The pinkette sighed guiltily. "Um... Question. If that Bella girl is the vice president, who's the president?"
"... That... You'll know soon."

"JUST WHO IS SHE?!" Juvia screamed in the locker room as she arrived at the café with Lucy, Lisanna, and Levy.
"What's wrong?" Mirajane asked.
"Breaking news, Gray has a girlfriend." Lucy said. "It's on the news in Mag-U. Apparently our friend, Bella, met this Nathan guy yesterday when he and Gray were hanging out and he mentioned Gray has a girlfriend."
"Nathan? But I thought yesterday he went with..." When Mirajane saw the horror on Natsu's sweating face, she knew it has something to do with the pinkette. "Ah, yes... Nathan."
"You saying, Mira?" Lucy and Lisanna couldn't hear it clearly while changing uniform.
"Nothing." The manager replied back to the locker room while raising her eyebrows towards Natsu. 'What have you done this time?'
"This is unacceptable! The investigation will begin soon to reveal the culprit! Juvia swears! As the President of Master Gray-fan-club!" The blue haired girl was in rage. "If- WHEN Juvia finds out who this 'girlfriend' is, she'll be DROWN TO DEATH!"
Oh. Hello there, Miss President.
When the three bosses came to the cafe that night (Sting's still absent), the other two couldn't stop pestering Gray about the news.
"Come on, Gray! Everybody wants to know! Spill!" Loke said.
"You guys broke into my house at five in the morning, stalked me all day long, and you still haven't given up?" Gray shot them a disbelief look.
"'Cause it's a huge news! And you're not denying it like you usually did! So it must be true!" Hibiki beamed.
"Can't we all just eat in peace?" The raven rolled his eyes.
"No until you tell!" Loke snorted.
"AHEM!" Natsu suddenly interupted as he felt the need to save his boyfriend. "So... Anybody wants to order anything, Master?"

"I'm so so sorry.." Natsu slouched on the couch. "Even at Fairy Tail, people're pestering you about it. I can't imagine how crazy it is at Mag-U..."
Gray just shrugged.
The couple were back to dating-at-Gray's. It had been a week since the breaking news and Mag-U was still "in-heat" to find the mysterious girlfriend. Some were just curious as to who managed to steal the popular raven's heart, while others (mainly Gray-fan-club members) were so ready to erase her existence so that Gray could go back to become everyone's idol.
"Why didn't you just... deny it?" Natsu hesitantly asked. "I mean, we're dating secretly anyway."
"I'd rather declare that you are my boyfriend than deny it." Gray said flatly.
"Eh?"
"Honestly, do we still need to hide? We hid it because we didn't want to make things more complicated than your gender. But seeing how our friends are very supporting and accepting, I don't think it's still necessary for us to hide anymore, no?"
Natsu licked his lips nevously. "But are you okay with this? If we're gonna announce it, you need to realize we're both guys. And I may not someone people expect as the one who... whom you're supposed to be in relationship with."
"... Your point?"
"It's... We- uh... You... Gaaahhh!" Natsu ruffled his own hair in frustration. "Look, you're this perfect prince charming everybody adore and desire! You can have any girls you want, yet you chose to be with me. A guy. A poor, rude, uneducated nobody, while you're a so damn flawless prince. I don't care whatever reproaches thrown at me, heck, maybe I deserve it. But you! People will question this... crazy decision of yours! Because I'm not someone who stands equally with you. They may ruthlessly judge you! What if you're shunned because of me?"
"You done rambling?"
"... Yeah..."
"Let me get this straight... First of all, I'm well aware we're both guys and I don't have any problem with that. Second, I'm not a perfect prince charming. People don't see the flaws because they 'refuse' to believe it, but you can see who I really am, my status has nothing to do with how horribly you treated me whenever I did something stupid. Third, I'm pass the point of caring about people's opinions. It's my life, I'm the one living it the way I want, not by people's expectations."
"... But..."
"Fourth. Everything you said about yourself are just tiny visible parts of you. You're so much more than that. There are many good traits which make me fall for you. You like it, you grin stupidly. You hate it, there goes your super fists. And I can proudly say I date the most gorgeous, one and only, pink haired guy. So please, don't ever think poorly of yourself like that."
"... I think I'm gonna cry..."
"Come to daddy then." Gray opened his arms towards Natsu to tease him.
The raven expected a rough impact, but instead of punches, Natsu willingly thrown himself between the arms and burried his face on Gray's chest.
"... Pervert." The pinkette muffled.
"Too bad. You're stuck with this pervert." Gray chuckled and ruffled Natsu's hair.
"Well... My pervert, nonetheless..." Natsu smiled. "... Thanks..."
"You're welcome." The raven nodded. "So... Ready to face the world?"
"Hell yeah. Be it us against the world!" Natsu grinned.

"JUVIA WILL KILL YOU!"
Well... Against the world seemed to be exaggerating while Natsu looked like he's about to die in this situation.

Back to a few minutes ago when they're cleaning up at closing time as usual.
"Come oooonn, Graay... It's only us here. You can just tell us first. Who's this girlfriend?" Loke whined.
Natsu gulped. It's time.
"Well... If you guys really wanna know." Gray said. "I don't have any girlfriend. Sorry to disapoint."
Eh?
"Then why didn't you deny the news?! Are you playing with us-
"Shut up, Loke. I'm not done talking." Gray elbowed his best friend. "No girlfriend, but I am indeed in a relationship with someone."
"WHAT?!" The whole Fairy Tail crews screamed, except for Natsu who's drowning in his deep thought of his boyfriend denying him.
"Yeah, it's-
"NATSU!" Suddenly someone barged in the cafe and shouted the pinkette's name, surprising everyone inside.
"S-Sting? What are you doing here? I mean, how are you? Long time no see." Natsu was confused, but he tried to be polite to the guy he gave heart attack and fell into 'coma' for a couple weeks.
Sting ran pass his friends, ignoring them, and directly hugged the pinkette.
"I like you, Natsu!" Sting shouted. "After all these weeks, I still can't get you out of my mind! And I don't care about your gender! I really like you! Please go out with me!"
Before Natsu could punch the shit out of him, Gray forcefully pulled them apart.
"Fuck off. Natsu's mine." The raven hugged his pinkette possesively.
Silence... And once again, Sting fell into 'coma'.
"... I-is this a joke?" Loke stammered.
"Nope." The hug was getting tighter but Natsu was too damn embarassed to react while hearing Gray spoke. "Like I said, I don't have a girlfriend, but I do have a boyfriend. Him."
"M-Master Gray... Juvia believes there's some m-mistake here-
Before the blue haired girl could finish, Gray slid his left arm around Natsu's waist, touched his chin to turn his face towards the raven, their eyes met for a brief moment until he raven leaned forward.
And...
And...
AND...
And that's how Natsu got himself in JUVIA-WILL-KILL-YOU situation.

Back to present time...
"Dammit, Gray! Help me! Do something!" Natsu shouted for help while being chased by Juvia-in-rampage.
"Do what?" The raven asked.
"Anything!"
Huffing, Gray walked between Natsu and Juvia to stop the chasing. He stared at her softly, holding her hands and making her melt. "Juvia, dear. It would make me very happy to have your blessing."
"B-but, Master Gray-
CHU.
"Please?" Gray pleaded nicely after planting a small peck on her back palm. "For me?"
It's super effective.
Juvia's HP was down to 0 with 'yes'-es echoing from her mouth.
Panic, the other girls approached their fainted friend while Gray walked away towards his boyfriend, smiling victoriously.
"All done." The raven proudly claimed.
"... You... you..." Natsu's strong grip was trembling.
"Hmm?"
"You fucking FLIRTY PERVERT BASTARD!"
THWACK!

Eventually, we all adapt with the situation little by little.
The fact that I'm a guy, in relationship with Gray, and working at Fairy Tail remain unchanged.
Juvia and Gray-fan-club members now swear to 'protect' and support their idol's relationship with me (although most of them went along because of the President's threat). At least my life is safe for now.
Remember Rogue? Sting's not-so-little brother? After hearing mine and Gray's relationship (and successfully 'cured' his big brother), he remembers he had accidentally witnessed us, being disgustingly lovey-dovey outside the cafe one morning. And it's a loooooonng way ago before the birthday party. That's how everyone knows the relationship has been sailing long enough without anyone knowing. Oops... (*A.N.: refer to Chapter 15)
Speaking of lovey-dovey... That damn shameless Gray always throws his affection at me. He's very distracting especially when I'm working! But strangely, lots of girls squeel excessively when we're doing any couple-thingies, including Lucy, Lisanna, and Levy. Weird, huh? Not that we mind, but... sometimes they make us shiver with whatever 'fetish' they have. Can anybody tell what's wrong with them?
Finally, there's a letter from my old man. So he's still alive. He asks about how me and Wendy are doing (which is great!), tells about his 'fantastic' journey (what's so fantastic about gambling?), and he even asks about MARRIAGE. Just come back to give us your blessing! I-I mean... A-ahem... S-safe trip, dad.
About my relationship with Gray... Sure, there are some people who doesn't accept it. Obviously. Not everyone's happy with this. But, hey! It's our life and we enjoy every seconds of it! We don't live to please everybody.
And just like Tay-Tay's song, both Gray and me will always 'Shake-It-Off'. Together with our true friends who accept us the way we are. Whoohoo!
