Afterwords, Sunset sat on a desk with Vira and Navi while Ellie leaned against a wall as the other were preparing their instruments to practice.
The girls had formed a band called the Rainbooms to be in the showcase.
Rainbow was on lead guitar and lead vocals.
Applejack played the base.
Rarity played the keytar
Pinkie Pie was on drums.
And Fluttershy played the tambourine.
Vira and Ellie not to be part of the band.
Instead, they in a way, the understudies of the band incase if one or two of the girls can't make or get sick to play.
They had to learn each instruments, but it was hard since both girls play two instruments.
Vira was also the lead singer in case Rainbow wasn't able to play or sing in the band.
"Ugh! I am never gonna live that down." Sunset said hopelessly
"You were pretty bad at the Fall Formal." Fluttershy said as she grabbed her instrument. "Vira and I seen way worse things from our old home from Hyrule." Ellie said trying to lighten the mood but it only made things worst.
"A demon. I turned into a raging she-demon." Sunset said in a deadpanned tone as Pinkie Pie began making gestures as she explained, "And tried to turn everyone here into teenage zombies for your own personal army!" she said this while imitating a zombie with matching eyes before giving a goofy smile.
"Pinkie-" Vira face palm- "Your not helping." She sigh and put her hand on top of Sunset "But, I know that it not easy the fact everyone hates you," She wave her hand to dismissing the situation "But none of that matter now. Remember what I said to not worry about the past or future but only worry about present plus your not alone."
"She right, darling, you have us," Rarity said kindly as she placed the sling of the keytar around her shoulder, "and we've forgiven you for your past... ahem... booboos."
Applejack took her base, ready to practice, "To be honest, Ah'd say the whole experience brought everyone at Canterlot High closer than ever before!"
Pinkie Pie tapped her drum sticks, "One two three!"
The girls played their respected instruments and started to sing in harmony. Music filled the room, melting away Sunset's anxieties.

Suddenly, as they played, each of the girls grew longer hair extensions, resembling tails, pony ears grew on their heads while Rainbow and Fluttershy grew feathered wings, all in the same color as their skin. This magical event happened every time they played their music together.
You can feel it, we are back

Sunset tapped her hands to the beat Vira bobbed her head to the music Ellie who was leaning against the wall was tapping her foot to the beat

Sunset got off her seat and bobbed her head while tapping her foot.
Then Vira got off and offer hand to Sunset as if she was asking her to dance with her.
They started to dance together to the beat of their friend's music

Sunset Shimmer Ellie, Vira and Navi applauded her friends' performance as the ears, tails and wings all magically disappeared once the music ended. The girls were not phased at all the fact that this happened. After all, it happened once before at the Fall Formal.
Rarity giggled excitedly as she lowered down her instrument.
"I still can't believe that happens when we play! Ooh! I've got to look into some new accessories! Something that looks good in a longer ponytail. Ooh! Maybe some clip-on earrings for when I get those adorable pony ears."
"Ah just wonder why it happens." said Applejack as she sat down next to Fluttershy, "Princess Twilight took her crown back to Equestria. Shouldn't that mean she took all the magic back with her?"
Rainbow Dash simply smiled arrogantly, "Who cares why it happens? It makes my band totally awesome!"
Rarity scoffed at this, "Oh! Your band?"
"Duh! It was my idea to start the Rainbooms so we could be in the showcase. Plus I'm the lead singer and guitarist." Vira and Ellie groan at their friend's arrogance.
Then someone knock on the door and open it to reveal Flash Sentry.
"Hey Flash" Vira ran up to Flash and hug him.
This made Sunset jealous, but she try to hide it. The other girls look at her with an sympathetic expression as she thought to herself
'They knew on how I feel toward the Vira after I told them about the kiss back when I was still mean...although Ellie began to give me death glares after that. But she stop doing that after a month. I kept denying to her about my feelings for Vira. But I start to have a crush on her all after 4 months of being friends with her'. she thought to herself as was pulled away her thoughts by Flash speaking.
"Uh, heard you outside. You guys are sounding really tight." Flash said letting go of Vira's hug
"Uh, we're getting there." said Rainbow Dash, "Rarity's still coming in a little late on the second verse, and Applejack's bass solo could use a little work. They'll get it together in time for the showcase."
Rarity, Applejack, and Ellie both shared the same annoyed glances. They knew Rainbow Dash was always the arrogant one of the group, but lately this whole band thing was really getting to her head.
Flash began tugging on his jacket rather nervously before placing his hands in his jacket pockets and asked, "Uh, I don't suppose any of our friends from, uh... out of town might come? Uh, it being a special charity event and all."
The girls knew exactly who he was referring to. Unfortunately, the girl he had become infatuated with during the Fall Formal wasn't going to come back.
Applejack furrowed her brows in sympathy for the young musician.
"Sorry, Flash. Ah don't think Twilight's gonna be back at Canterlot High any time soon."
Even though he look like he was in a positive demeanor, he was deeply disappointed. Ever since she left, Flash couldn't be rid his mind off of the strange, but beautiful, mysterious student who saved their school. He didn't care if they were different really, really different, he liked her for who she was. He laughed nervously as he tried to keep his cool.
"Oh, yeah. Okay. I just, you know, thought I'd ask. Uh, k-keep on rockin' it." he began walking backwards to the door, only to accidentally hit his back against the wall. Vira giggle as Flash blushed and smiled in embarrassment before leaving the band room. Rarity smirked and giggled.
"Well. Someone is quite the smitten kitten." Rarity's eyes widened in shock once she realized what she said and turned to Sunset Shimmer, wearing an apologetic look on her face.
"Oh. Sorry. I always forget you and Flash used to be an item." Vira had a look of disappoint when Rarity mention Sunset and Flash used to date. Everyone notice her expression and they knew that this needed to be address.
But Sunset Shimmer didn't look the least big hurt or offended by this.
"It's okay. Flash is a great guy and all, but I never really liked-him liked him. I was just using him to become more popular." realizing what she just said, Sunset groaned and face palmed herself, "Ugh! The old me really was just awful, wasn't she?" The other girls all nodded and hmm in agreement.
Applejack smiled and placed her hand on Sunset's shoulder, making her smile. "But the important thing is that you've turned yourself around."
"Thanks, Applejack, but I'm not sure everyone else at CHS feels the same way." Sunset stated feeling a bit nervous and sad, but Vira grabbed Sunset's hands.
"They will, Sunset. It's going to take time for everyone to see you changed and if they can't see that, then it their loss for not getting to know how sweet, funny and kind you've become" Vira said blushing which made Sunset blush when Vira mention the word sweet, funny, and Kind.
She look at the her friends and saw them giving her a gesture that said 'go on and tell her' She let a big breath out and was about to tell Vira how she felt. But the moment she could let her word come out, The P.A system beeped and Vice Principal Luna's voice was heard.
"Sunset Shimmer, please report to the main foyer." Sunset curse under her breathe and let go of Vira's hands she look at them
"Gotta run. I volunteered to show some new students around the school. Thought it'd be good for them to get to know the new me before they heard all the stuff about the old me." Sunset gave her friends one final smile before leaving the band room.
Vira smile at her then notice everyone look at her "Why are all of you starting at me"
"Do you want tell us what is going on with you and Sunset?
"What do you mean?"
"Oh don't try to deny it, darling. Your smitten toward a certain Red and yellow hair girl in our group" Rarity said wiggling her finger in front of Vira's face.
"WHAT I- mean uh I uh" Vira stutter while blush like a tomato. She said in defeat knowing she can't win her friends when they are correct. "Your right, I do really like Sunset I think it all start back when she was still mean and kiss me. I forgot about that kiss. I started to really like her when I got know the real her and it slowly blossom to a crush" she look at the group "Please don't tell her I don't want her to hear from one of you"
"Oh sugarcube, it's alright. Ah know you want to take your time to tell Sunset how you feel. We don't think of you any different. We support you all the way, right girls?" Applejack ask as everyone nodded and they hug Vira
"Yeah, and if anyone if you a hard time, then they will answer to and these" Rainbow said as she flash her fist out.
After a few minutes, Rainbow Dash turned to the rest.
"We've still got a few minutes before lunch starts. What do you say we do "Awesome As I Wanna Be"?"
"Um, Rainbow Dash?" Fluttershy began to ask a question as she held out her green notebook, decorated with butterlies. "I was wondering if we could maybe play the song I wrote?"
Sadly, Rainbow Dash brushed it off, "We'll get to it."
Fluttershy lowered her shoulders in disappointment. "Oh. Okay." while Vira and Ellie narrow their eyes at Rainbow despite the nice moment they all shared a few minutes ago.
