Lightning tore the sky apart and caused the large fires torching the land with no mercy for those caught in its way. The fires that had given name to the country raged for days, weeks and even months at times. It was the dry summers that caused them, summers when there wasn't a single drop of rain from the end of spring to the beginning of autumn. The village of Konoha were always busy during those times; even though the village itself was secure, shinobi fought to save the land from which their food came.
