Sodd off Flint!
A couple of weeks later I was walking from my transfigurations class back to the common room, I took a shortcut I was convinced only a couple of people knew when I heard voices.
"So beautiful, have you decided if you'd take up my offer?" I heard a familiar voice say. Flint, but who was he talking to?
"Sodd off Flint," I heard Katie say. Katie? "I want nothing do with you and I want you to leave me alone." She sounded quite…scared? Nothing like Katie at all.
"Last time when I kissed you, you seemed to like it Kitten."
That was the moment when I decided to interfere.
"I don't think the lady is impressed by you Flint, so why don't you just leave my chaser alone and go back to your dungeons." I stepped around the corner.
Katie ran towards me and hid behind me.
"Yeah? What are you going to do about it Wood?" Flint asked me with a snarl. "I will be taking Katie with me and if you ever go near her again I'll file a harassment complaint with McGonagall."
Flint gave me an ugly look and walked away. "Bye Kitten, I'll get you later" he hissed to Katie when he walked past us.
I looked at Katie "Kates, what did he want from you?' I asked her. With tears in her eyes she looked up to me. "He's been harassing me for a couple of weeks now, following me to my classes when I'm alone, making inappropriate comments on how I look and last week" the tears where flowing down her cheeks by that point. "Last week he kissed me. It was the vilest thing I could have ever imagined." I was too shocked to say anything, my little Katie, being harassed by the big ugly Slytherin captain. No wonder she didn't want to come close to me or any of the other boys. As a reflex I took a step back.
"Oliver, I'm so sorry! I get it if you want to kick me off the team now.'
I stared at her with disbelief. "You think I am going to kick you off the team because Marcus Flint has been harassing you? Are you crazy Kates?"
She looked at me with big teary eyes. "So you won't kick me off the team?"
"I would never do that Kates, as far as I'm concerned, you and I are going to see professor McGonagall right away and you are going to tell her exactly what you told me. And than we'll see.
"No!" she almost shouted, "we can't go to McGonagall. It'll just look like we want to take out the Slytherin captain just before our match. And we can't have that! Besides, there have never been any witnesses, so it's my word against his and they'll probably believe his if this ever goes to the board. Draco's daddy is in there remember?"
She did have a fair point. "Okay, we won't go to see McGonagall now, but the next time he talks to you were are going young lady" I said stern.
I decided that moment that she would never be alone from now on, every waking moment there would be a team member there to escort her to her classes and during meal times.
The others immediately agreed to my plan the moment I told them. Angelina knew that Flint has been acting like an ass towards Katie, but she never knew how far things went.
The twins volunteered to escort her to all her classes, since she was the only fourth year student and nobody had any classes with her. Ange and Alicia stayed with her during mealtimes and went with her to the lady's room. And I made sure that whenever I could, I was at her side. My insides cringed at the idea of her ever having to go through that again. I was going to make sure that she was safe, because I loved her. Wait, what?
