After searching for the boy's parents and failing to find them, Sanji and Robin headed to an apartment that the Islands staff graciously provided for them. After all, love hotels are no place for children. The apartment was way more appropriate than the love hotel since it was furnished with appropriate furniture and facilities. For one the bathroom was not see through and there were locks in for the bathroom. However, Sanji was definitely not happy with the change but he slowly adjusted; it felt like if Robin and Sanji really had a family together. The little boy slept with Robin so Sanji was forced to get used to sleeping with the child between them. He always woke up with the little boy's legs on his head and couldn't yell or else he would wake Robin. This was torture for him. Robin was focused on caring for him so she definitely didn't spend as much time with him as she had when they first arrived. Hell, she even showered with the kid. Sanji would always lay on the floor, hugging his knees and muttering curses under his breath whenever the little boy showered with her, sometimes they would even hear him bawling about wanting to be a kid.
"Say ahhh." Said Robin smiling amused as the boy sat on her lap at the table while Sanji was cooking when they finally settled for breakfast. The little boy cheerfully opened up his mouth and let Robin spoon feed him some omelet. He was old enough to feed himself but he insisted on Robin feeding him. Robin didn't get exposed to many children since as pirates there aren't many children at sea so she was happy to comply. There was a loud bang and Sanji suddenly appeared from the kitchen holding a frying pan menacingly and glaring at the little boy; he was wearing a pink apron that said kiss the cook. He had a look of utmost anger and frustration.
"Oi oi! Robin chwan I'm your husband! Feed me not the brat!" he whined
Robin looked up at her outraged 'husband' and smiled amusedly as she patiently picked up another piece with her chopsticks. She held up a piece of the omelet and smiled sweetly at him as she gestured at him to come closer. Lately, he seemed angry so maybe he was right and she should spoil him but his behavior always made Robin happy.
"Sorry you can't sit on my lap since it's taken but darling says ahhh," she apologized as she offered him the piece of food.
The little boy watched the two adults confused. Sanji literally seemed like he could die happy right now. He was crying tears of happiness as he reminded himself that he lived solely for these moments. He opened his mouth and happily let Robin feed him. He then kissed her cheek and happily went back to cooking, satisfied. He was skipping and humming on his way back to the kitchen. Robin chuckled at his behavior and resumed feeding him. She was very fond of him.
-Grrrr, when is that brat going back to his parents! Why do we hafta keep him here with us! This is Honeymoon Island not care for small brat's island. This is almost as equivalent as being back in the ship!-
He grumbled and pouted as he kept cooking breakfast. Once he was done he went to sit down with Robin and the boy. He looked at them jealousy, the little boy looked a lot like he were really that stupid marimos son. Sanji felt extremely jealous of how she let him nap on her legs and they bathed together and napped together. It seems his parent's whereabouts were unknown and it had been about four days since they started looking after him. He was sure that the crew would come for them any day now and he wanted to spend these last few days with Robin as if it was their last time alone together but that kid was in their way.
"Robin chwan." He said as he bit into his toast and watched her wiping the boy's mouth with a napkin. His heart skipped as she seemed like a good mother. It was inevitable that the thought of children had crossed through his mind, given the circumstances but it was a forward and embarrassing thought!
-I..I'm getting ahead of myself.- he internally scolded himself -We haven't even been able to discuss the kiss!- he thought as he temporarily wallowed in despair since if they had discussed the kiss then maybe they would have moved forward. He shot a glare at the kid because he felt a surge of huge dislike towards him. -I'd definitely like her to be the mother of my kids.- he allowed himself to dream slightly as he had a troubled expression that was a mixture of happy and sad because he only discovered this side of her because of the stupid brat.
"Hm?" she asked as she glanced at him.
"Wouldn't you like to spend time together alone today? With me?" he asked casually, hoping she'd say yes. "I'm sure they can take care of him for at least one day. After all, this is Honeymoon Island and we should enjoy it together." he pointed out. The little boy put on a pouty face and clung onto Robin. "I keep her!" he said and glared at Sanji. Sanji flicked the boy's forehead and growled. "Look here you brat Robin chwan is mine! I'm her husband! See this!" he held out his hand and showed off the ring, he then took Robins hand and showed her ring. "Mine! We're together and our love cannot be destroyed so we should be able to spend time together!" he stuck out his tongue at the little boy
-Fake husband but I understand his frustration.- Robin mentally noted as she agreed. -I should reward his behavior more frequently.-
The boy puffed his cheeks out sulked and held both of Robins' hands, pushing away Sanji's hand. Sanji stubbornly held onto her hands, refusing to let go. Eventually, the kid decided to stop trying to push Sanji away and focused on Robin. " I will grow stronger and older so I can marry you and protect you." he finally declared as he looked at Robin
Robin smiled sweetly and kissed the little boys cheek causing him to blush. Sanji clenched his fists in frustration at this declaration, knowing full well that he couldn't hurt a kid but he was sure about to give him a good wallop.
-How adorable.- she thought.
"Okay, if you grow up big and strong." She consented
Sanji clenched his fists tighters –As soon as we leave here I'm marrying Robin for real and I'm getting rid of that brat as soon as I can.- "There's no way you'll ever be stronger than me so give it up!" Sanji proclaimed as he folded his hands with one foot on the chair while the other was on the floor. The little boy frowned and flailed with his fork in his hand. "I will! I will!" he chanted
Robin smiled cheerfully at this noisy breakfast table; it was a different sort of noisy than they had on the ship but nevertheless it was nice. "Now now, let's eat," she said as she finally placed the little boy on his chair so he could eat alone. "It's delicious." she admired as she enjoyed the breakfast. "Yes yes, yummy!" nodded the little boy as he kept eating. "Ha, of course, it would be! I only feed my wife the best!" he exclaimed triumphantly, regarding the boys comment as a victory.
The little boy's fork froze as he realized that Sanji made the food and admitting it was good was admitting defeat. He internally struggled for a moment. Sanji noticed and leaned towards the kid "What? Not going to eat? But it's so goooooooood~ You should try the cookies!" he jeered as he teasingly offered the cookies to the kid. The delicious cookie smell filled the room; they smelled delicious. The little boy didn't want to give in so he ultimately shook his head and mumbled a small "No."
Sanji bent down and stared at the kid in the eye while wearing a look of utmost satisfaction at the fact he won. "Huh?" he rudely said "I didn't hear that. Can you repeat that? You don't want any of my delicious cookies?" he jeered.
Tears began filling the kid's eyes. "No! No! I don't want any!" he wailed. "Heh." laughed Sanji as he stood back up. He then patted the kids head. "You got guts kid to refuse my cookies. You might have the potential for becoming strong but eat up or you'll never stand a chance," said Sanji as he placed the cookies in front of the kid. Robin was surprised; she thought she was going to have to step in but Sanji sorted the whole matter perfectly. In fact, although he's been complaining this whole time about taking care the kid, he's more than done his part of caring for the kid such as enduring the fact that every night the little boys legs ended atop of his head but he never woke up and yelled at the child or that he makes healthy yummy meals that sneak in vegetables. As a matter a fact, he's carried the boy to bed whenever he's fallen asleep and tucked him in even though he justifies it as saving Robin from doing the carrying. He was really helping Robin in all things since she hadn't used her powers since they landed on the island.
The boy was gobbling the cookies when there was a knock on the door. Robin glanced at Sanji who seemed angry at the thought of another person interrupting their love nest.
"Sanjiiiii! Oi oi Robin! We're here for you!"
Robins eyes widened it was Luffys voice. The crew was finally here for them.
