Azula stared with bated breath, as the acrobat prepared to confess what was on her mind. "'Zula..I'm in love with you. Ever since we were children. I've always loved you. As more than just friends. As a lover." Ty Lee poured out her soul.
The princess was silent for a few moments, but then took a deep breath and said: "Me? Why do you love me? No one loves a monster, Ty Lee."
Ty Lee only smiled, and brushed Azula's bangs from her eyes. "You, 'Zula, have a lot to learn." she said, leaning in and kissing the princess.
Azula was surprised at first, but she leaned into it.
Ty Lee kissed the princess for quite a while until she broke the kiss for air, leaving Azula wanting more.
The princess held her arms out, begging Ty Lee to come to her. She did, kissing all the while.
"I'm gonna make you feel really good, 'Zula.." Ty Lee whispered in her ear.
But before Ty Lee could go any further, Azula gently pushed her away, pointing towards the window. A messenger hawk had appeared.
Ty Lee went over to grab the letter that was in the hawk's possession and almost immediately, her blood ran cold when she saw who it was from. None other than Fire Lord Ozai himself. "You might need to read this, Azula.." she said quietly, mentally bracing herself.
Azula got up and walked over to where Ty Lee was standing, took the letter and opened it. Whilst she read, she muttered and cursed under her breath.
Ty Lee, worried for her partner, rubbed her arm. The princess did not shake her off. "What did it say?" Ty Lee asked
Azula calmed herself as much as she could, before saying in a rather clipped tone of voice: "It seems my father has saw fit to burn the earth kingdom without me, and there's something else he wants to discuss as well."
Ty Lee's eyes lit up in a panic. "Oh, please don't say it's an Agni Kai." she wailed.
The princess reassured her. "No, but we will find out together."
The acrobat gave a smile, knowing everything would be fine as long as she had Azula with her.
