Intro:
A green glowing, steel pod was flying through space, hurtling towards earth as it crashes, making a huge green flash.
The camera zooms out from the glowing symbol on the Ultimatrix as Ben looks up close at it.
He then activates it while smirking at the camera, raising his hand high and slapping it down on the core.
The background turns all green as Ben morphs into Four Arms, who pumps his upper fists while cracking his lower ones with a smirk.
A white number appears on the left side, starting at 1.
"Ben 10!"
2: Heatblast ignites 2 fire balls in his hands.
"Ben 10!"
3: XLR8 zooms into the right.
4: Diamondhead swaps his right arm across as it turns into a blade.
"Ben 10!"
5: Cannonbolt uncurls and poses.
"Ben 10!"
"Ben 10!"
6: Upgrade stretches out of his puddle form.
7: Grey Matter hops off the 7 and lands into a crouch, giving a thumbs up and a smile.
"Ben 10!"
8: Water Hazard slides in on his water blasts and raises his fists up.
"Ben 10!"
9: Wildvine extends his legs and stretches out his right fingers while holding seeds in his left one, chucking them offscreen.
10: Big Chill phases through the number and floats briefly before zooming near the camera.
"Ben 10!"
Big Chill's head turns back into Ben's as it rotates.
The camera zooms out to reveal Max and Gwen by his side.
Ben gave a low-five as his grandfather as Gwen crosses her arm and shakes her head playfully with a smile.
The 2 then ran off-screen, making Ben run towards the camera with a determined look.
He then froze as his aliens appear in heroic poses on each of the kid's sides, 5 on each side. Just as the title appears in a black background with green rays appearing from the title.
"Clara Vista, here we come!" Gwen exclaims as she looks at the town sign for the next stop as her bored cousin chucks paper balls at a trash bin. "And why do we care about Clara Vista again?" "I only told you like a million times! They found a time capsule belonging to famous inventor, Nikolai Tesla! And they are going to unbury it and open it at the ceremony this afternoon."
The boy kept chucking without a care. "And what is a 'Tesla', again?" "AAUUGGHH…. He's only one of the greatest scientists in history!" "Yeah… History is not my thing. I'm all about the future!" Gwen rubbed her forehead as she shot back. "History is important, Ben! It's a part of life!" Ben states out as he points at Grandpa Max as he carries a trash bag. "History is boring and old, as uncool as Grandpa's shirt." "Hey! A psychic predicted that this shirt would be popular! Then again, she is the one who sold it to me." Max mumbles out in thought. "Ben, history is really important! Right, Grandpa?" Gwen asks the elder as he nodded in response. "It is very important! And some of us have more history than others." FLASH
Ben spins fast as a flash of blue light engulfs him, turning him into XLR8 as he starts running fast in a circle.
"What are you doing?" The smart girl questions the alien as he responds while standing near a bush. "Maybe if I run fast enough, I can go back in time, stop Tesla from being born and we don't have to go the time capsule thing!" Gwen stares at her alien cousin with a straight face as she mentions the bush. "Maybe you should stop yourself from stepping into that poison oak, first?" XLR8 laughs as he smugly states. "HA! Very funny, Gwen! Aliens are immune to Earth poison oak!"
As the lizard sticks his tongue out, his legs swollen with purple spots all over as his eyes widened in pain, realizing that some aliens aren't immune to poison oak. "All right, kids! Let's get a move on!" Gwen ran back into the RV as XLR8 awkwardly walks in while mumbling ows.
The RV parks near a crowd that has a banner that says, 'Clara Vista in time'. The family got out as Gwen grins with excrement. "This is so incredible!" "Whoo-oohh." The boy sarcastically cheers while he slouches with monotone. "Citizens of Clara Vista! This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to pear into our past." The mayor said as he gestures to 2 guys digging near him. "Soon, a time capsule buried in this very town square, 100 years ago! Will be unearthed, revealing secrets of our ancestors." The crowd claps as Gwen squeals out while Max smiles. Ben, on the other hand, looks to the side with his hands in his pockets. "This is great! We are witnessing history in the making!" Gwen spoke out as Ben groans and rolls his eyes.
"One of them, the famous inventor Nikola Tesla, is rumored to have place his greatest treasure in this capsule." The men pull out a copper capsule on the ground. "It is said to be a source of tremendous power, are we ready to see it?" The crowd cheers as Ben states out. "This 'Tesla' guy seems weird." "Oh, he was a brilliant, eccentric scientist! Who is considered the father of the wireless age!" "'Eccentric'?" "It means odd, kind of crazy. And yes, weird." Max answers his grandson, who comments with crossed arms. "Like this whole 'time capsule' thing."
Just then, a whirling blade is heard from the air, making them look up to see someone the Tennysons haven't seen since Squid City! "Steam Smythe, at your service!" The steampunk man lands in front of the crowd as his hat copter blade retracts, making him take it off and bows at the crowd. "Greetings, citizens of Clara Vista!"
"Oh, great. Him again." Ben sighs out in annoyance. "Dear Mayor! I owe you and the citizens of the abominable burg my deepest gratitude for your assistance! Nikolai Tesla's greatest invention will soon be mine! And I will destroy this hive of modernity known as Silicon Valley! In other words: KA-boom!" The crowd gasped in shock at the announcement. "Why aren't you going after him?!" The mayor asks the men, who zips off their disguise to reveal 2 humanoid steampunk robots with pincer claws for hands. The crowd panics as they all run away except for the Tennysons. The robots activate copter blades and fly away with the capsule.
"Mustn't dilly dally. Come, Mechanoids!" The man said as he takes off after them as the mayor exclaims. "Their stealing our history! And that madman is going to blow up the city!" "Ben! You got to do something!" The boy responds to Max with a smirk as he dials the watch. "Don't worry. I'll make it too hot for them to fly!" FLASH
Fire spreads from glove and onto his very being as rocks form everywhere as he morphs into Heatblast as he threw his arms apart.
"Time for some fireworks!" The alien hero flies after via propulsion and fires a barrage of blazing orbs at the robots, blasting and blowing up the 2 as the capsule fell into a lake. The alien ran up to a small ledge that overlooks the pond as he got a look of uneasy. "A lake? I really hate water when I'm like this!" Shucking it up, the alien dives into the water as his fire and rocks cooled. He kept swimming, ignoring the pain, and reached the capsule, only for a plunger to grab it and drag both up. Heatblast then focuses on refueling his fire and manages to ignite, blasting the rope to cut the capsule loose as they both hit the ground. As Heatblast recovers, he noticed more robots flying down from above as they surround the alien. "Haven't you guys heard? Mess with me, you mess with fire!"
Heatblast leaps up and chucks fireballs that blew up one robot after another. He then fires out a huge flame stream as he sweeps it around, destroying more robots as he then creates flame disc blades that slice through them and then blows them up. Heatblast then fires more flaming projectiles as he then uses his dragon's breath as he rotates around, blowing the last robots to scrap and ash as he smirks out. "Oh, yeah! Too hot to handle!"
But just then, a stream of flame-retardant foam rains down on the alien, smothering him as he then times out. Ben stood up as he wipes some foam off him as he then looks up at Steam Smythe as he retracts his fire extinguisher. "Looks like installing a fire extinguisher was the smart choice, after all! As for the capsule, we'll be taking that, child!" He snaps his fingers as 2 more robots fly up and stretches their arms out and grabs the capsule as Ben made a leap for it but miss as he hits the ground. He cries out to Steam Smythe, now on a steampunk air ship. "You won't get away with this!"
"I would love to stay and chat, but I have more explosive matter to attend to! HAHAHA!" The steam villian cackles as he took off as the boy kicks the ground in frustration as the Rust Bucket pulls up with the 2 hopping out. "Ben! Are you okay?" "Only my pride." The boy grumbles out. "You gave it your best shot. There's nothing wrong with that." Gwen comforts the boy as Max mentions. "It's still not over. We have to save Silicon Valley." Ben smiles as he perks up. "Yeah, you're right! Saving the world is what I do best! We just to need to figure out a way to get up to that airship."
The boy then approaches the RV as he asks his grandpa. "Grandpa, I know the Rust Bucket is something you love." "It's my favorite thing in the world! But… it is a thing." "Good! Cause here's the plan: We're going to board that blimp with the bucket!" The elder and girl stares with looks bewilderment, unsure about the boy's idea or how crazy it sounds. "Uhh… did you get hit on the head? That would mean the Rust Bucket would have to fly!" "You're right, Gwen! Completely right!" The teen widens her eyes in horror. "Ben said that I'm completely right. This is never good."
"It just needs a big Upgrade." The boy responds as he dials Upgrade's icon and slaps down, turning into the tech-enhancing alien as he spreads over the RV, making rocket boosters appear on the back as wings sprouted from above the tires as the wheel themselves folds down as Max and Gwen were amazed.
On Steam Smythe's airship, the robots were carrying the capsule to the boss as other Mechanoids gathered onto the deck. They sent the thing down as Steam Smythe approached it. "Now, I must be gentile. We won't want to destroy Tesla's beautiful gift to us." But just as he was about to open it, he heard a noise and turned. "What the?"
The upgraded Rust Bucket flies up near the ship and fires some lasers that blow up some of the robots as it lands on the deck. "What is that abomination?!" "Go on, insult the Rust Bucket! I dare you!" Max glares as they screech to a stop. Steam Smythe orders his robots. "What are you waiting for? Throw that bucket of bolts overboard!" "I won't let you!" Upgrade cries as he disconnects from the RV as Smythe blinks in surprise. "My creations can't speak for themselves."
"They also can't do this!" A green and black claw extends and knocks some bots aside, revealing an Upgrade-bot. "Mechanoids! Dispose of these intruders, post-haste!" The bots charged at him, only to get knocked off the boat by a long kick. Upgrade leaps and uses his extending limbs to beat the bots as he converts the arms into cannons and fries green lasers that blasted the bots into scrap parts. He smashed, blast, kicked, punch and spins, even getting some off the RV. "Whoa!" Gwen exclaims as more droids show up from below deck and start swarming the camper. "Hey! Get off me!" Upgrade exclaims as he is throwing bots off him.
One bot opens the door as Gwen hides under the table. As the machine enters in… WHACK The bot's head sparks and falls as Grandpa Max helps Gwen up. "Nice shot, Grandpa!" Gwen comments as Max holds his crowbar while handing the girl a bat. "We're sitting ducks in here! So, let's go help Ben!" They both charge out, bashing and smashing bots with their melee weapons as the boy alien struggles to get the capsule from Smythe as he cries out. "The past is mine and the nye!" "Who even… talks like that, anymore?!" He kicks the villain away as he exclaims. "Ha! Got the Capsule!" BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP FLASH
"Oh, no!" Ben mumbles out as he timed out as he also dropped the capsule, due to its size. "Size him!" Smythe chuckles out as 2 droids go to him. "It's okay! I don't need an alien to—" CLANG "AHH! JEEZE! Yep, that's metal." Ben hisses out as he rubs his foot. The robots try to grab him, but he quickly rolls out of the way as Steam Smythe pulls a leaver, only for it to stick like the Clocktopus, making him repeat it until it sparks.
A giant steampunk cannon emerges as it aims at the valley. "With the help of the undoubtedly powerful Tesla device! This machine will be strong enough to destroy Silicon Valley!" "BEN!" The boy turns to see his family struggling with the bots. "You got to get Tesla's device before he does!" "I would love to, grandpa! But I'm busy now!" He cries back at Max and keeps dodging the 2 bots as they tried to grab him. Steam Smythe pulls out a small shoe box from the capsule as he yells out. "Finally! I will possess your greatest treasure, Nikolai!" Ben turns in shock in response.
"I will return us to a more proper time, all because of your—" When the man opens the box, he was surprised of the contents when he takes out a purple teddy bear as the boy was surprised as well. "T-t-t-teddy bear?" He notices that it has a name tag on it. "'Mr. Schmoopie?" "Looks like that capsule is from Tesla's childhood, Steamy." Ben grins, relieved that Tesla didn't put a dangerous weapon in it after all. Steam Smythe was enraged by the deception as the boy was finally grabbed by the bots. "This is from his childhood? Not from his adult years?! I'VE BEEN TRICKED!" He throws the bear at the kid's feet.
"I want to do the gentlemanly way and take out this city in one fell swoop! But I will destroy it, block-by-block, if I must!" Ben looked at the toy and got an idea. "Hey, Steamy! Here's the past coming back!" He kicks the bear into the machine, making it stop the gears as steam erupts from the pressure and strain as Smythe cries out in horror. "NO! MY GEARS! " The boy shakes himself losses and runs to the RV as fast as he can.
"GWEN, GRANDPA! GET IN THE RUST BUCKET!" The 3 people quickly ran inside as Max got to the driver seat. "BUCKLE UP, KIDS!" He shoots forward and made a U-turn, speeding away as part started flying off the cannon as the ship started exploding. The camper drives off the ship as it erupts into a massive explosion of fire and metal bits.
The RV kept falling as Gwen called Ben. "Huu… cus? I hope you have a plan! Because the Rust Bucket doesn't have any shock absorbers from falling the sky!" "The gauntlet needs time to charge!" "We don't have much time!" Max calls out to Ben as the ground is coming up fast. "Come on, Come on!" The glove glows green, making the boy grin and slap it down. "All right!" FLASH
Four Arms squeezes himself out as he climbs to the top of the vehicle. "I hope Four Arms can handle this." The alien shot forward ahead, landing on the ground as turns and steady himself. "Gwen, hang on! It's going to get rough!" Max cries as the alien holds his arms out. The RV collides with the alien, making him strain himself as he digs his feet in to make the RV come to a stop. The Grandparent opens his eyes to the alien sighs out and smiles at him.
Later, the group were looking at the flaming wreckage of the blimp as they wondered one thing. "You think Steam Smythe made it?" "I don't know." Ben answers his grandfather as Gwen saw something in the smoke. "Wait! What's that?!" Steam Smythe flew from the wreckage, unscathed, on his helicopter hat as he cried out. "We will meet again! And next time, I will rely on my own inventions!" The man then flew off as Ben grumbles. "What a loser. Looks like we saved the day and made a little history ourselves!" "I thought you didn't care about history?" Gwen smugly asks Ben, who shrugs with a smirk as Max chuckles. "Well... Maybe not the parts involving me, of course." Ben responded to his cousin.
