Chapter 2:

A perfidious Plan

Sally frowns concerned when Bellezana tells her story. all members of the team where shocked by what they had heard, the wolf girl cried while she talked. Tears ran down her face like a river. " And... then they cached my uncle, they destroyed our House! " I only get out because my brother," he hiding me under some scrap! He told me STAY THERE! " Then they cached him too!"

She touched the necklace she wears and sobs. " M-my mother gave me this, an old heirloom of my family! Please, i give it to you when you help!" she look over to Antoine and blinks, like several times before. " You´re so famous and sooo brave, please help me!"

Sally guessed the girl likes Antoine. Bunnie seems not very amused about it, Sally saw it in her eyes. Antoine seems to not notice it or he ignores it. but it he seem to be shocked like the others.

Sonic punches his fist on the table. " Alright guys! Lets go, lets beat the doc again!"

Sally raises her hand." And that immediately, huh? I know that´s your thing, but we need a plan! We need to know where their base is, how much enemies, where they take the prisoners! Bellezana, you can stay here for a while. Sonic, Amy, i send you two scout the location of the village, use the Pink Cabriolet! I m talk with my father about this."

Bellezana turns to her " Can, can i come with you? To the king? Asking him if my people can stay here?"

Sally nodes. " Sure, lets go guys!" when they left the room, Bellezana stepped beside Antoine. " He-hello, you´re te tactician right? You look like an officer of the royal guard."

The coyote smile friendly while Bunnie came over, a suspicious expression on her face. Antoine shock his head. " No, no, i´m just part of zis team and do my thing! I´m the one with ze sword."

Bellezana smiles under her tears. " Uhm, well, you look so fancy and dashing! I guess you are the ladies man here, chico!"

Bunnie wraps her arms around Antoine and give the other girl an estimating look. " Well, one girl he bounds to him forever, right Sugartown?"

Antonine laughs. " True cherie! And forever is not long enough!"

Bunnie hold up her cybernetic hand with the wedding ring. Bellezana blinks. " Oh, now im jealous chica! A so amazing caballero..."

Antoine tried to answer when Bunnie pull him with her. when they were some step away. She grimaces. " For someone who get to hard things, she gets a lot too flirty with you, makin me mad!"

Antoine fondles her check. " No worries! Some people act otherwise when they are scared, Bellezana is probably a bit lonely! I have only eyes for you, la petite!"

Bunnie smirks. " Ya old charmer! Better she hold back!"

No one saw that Bellezana places two stones of her necklace under a chair. then she step beside the two again She look at Antoine with big eyes. " You, you watch over me, right? I feel safe beside you!"

Antoine frowns. " We all look over you!"

Bellezana folds her hands and smiles shy. " But, you are the best fighter here, right? You stay with me?"

Bunnie hissed and grabs Antoine's hand. " We gotta go! MY HUSBAND IS BUSY! Angry she pulls Antoine out of the room.

Tails reaches his hand to Perky, who sat on the desk with wagging legs. She hands him an processor unit, he grabs his screwdriver. When he started to open the case of the unit, Bunnie walks into the workshops. She seems angry, her fists shaking and her teeth clenched.

Perky look over confused. " Bunnie, are you alright?"

" Does it look like?" The rabbit hisses.

Antoine follows her and put an arm around her shoulder. " Cherie, calm down!"

The rabbit growls. " How she stares at you and acts so innocent, makin me mad! She´s a bad girl, i can see that!"

She beats into a box with machine parts with her cybernetic hand and smashed it, several pieces were throw around.

Tails and Perky changed a confused look, Antoine sighs. " Calm down cherie! She is now away, with the king. All is okay, i have no interest in her."

Bunnie turns around. " And there she will make her game too, i am sooo innocent! I don´t trust her!"

Tails stepped beside her and pats her on the shoulder, " Hey, what is going on?"

Bunnie turns angry around, but when she saw Tails who was like a little brother to her, her facial expression get a bit mildly. but she still grumbles." Bellezana flirts with my Shuga-Twan at all costs! So scared she can´t be, she is too sweet to everybody!"

Antoine wraps his arms around her and turns, her around. " You are the only one for me, other girls can do what they want, they never can compare with you, never! You are all that i want and need!"

Bunnie giggles. " Awww, Shuga-Twan, i must admit, you are hot stuff! No wonder she´s jealous!

Now both laughing, Bunnie look a bit embarrassed over to Tails. " Sorry little brother for the mess, this brat just teased me in the end on purpose, no doubt."

Perky cuddles up to Tails with a giggle. " Well, when you got your cutie totally wrapped around the finger, all others girls fail! And we have the hearts of our boys right Tailey?"

The fox nodes. " S-sure sweetie! No one can compare to you!" Perky giggles again. " Even ya old plane!

She look over to Bunnie, both girls burst out into laughter, Antoine and Tails smiled too.

Vector the Crocodile frowns when Espio the Chameleon open the door to the detective office, a package in his arms. Charmy the Bee sat in the corner reading a comic book. Now he puts it beside and flies over to the ninja who place the package on the table. Then he handed Vector a letter. the crocodile get it and start to read it loud.

" From Lady B to the best detectives in the world! I need you to find my missing husband. As payment you find some gems in the package. Signed, Lady B!"

The crocodile frowns when he open the package. "Sounds like someone from high society. Never heard of her! "

Espio get into a defensive position. " Watch out, maybe a trap!"

Vector shake his head. " Look, just some documents and a small bag."

Espio look carefully inside the package, he frowns. " Yep, looks like documents."

Charmy flies around the two. " The bag, are the gems inside? The payment, we can buy some more chocolate!"

Vector smiles, the ten year old bee-boy has only sweets in his mind. and the last time girls. Especially some special rabbit girl, with a sweet and nice mother, who's a good baker... He shook his head, not now, they had work to do.

Vector opens up the bag and emptied it onto the table it was a handful of black shimmering stones, Espio whistles in surprise. " Looks like black diamonds. Im sure they are expensive. Rouge the Bat would know that!"

Vector laughs loud. " Yes, this would be her thing! And when she´s here, one by one of the gems would disappear! I look later what they are worth, but we can check the documents first."

Charmy flies over to the other side of the table. " Guys, i have a appointment with Cream, does this here take long?"

Espio smiles at Charmy, Vector look amused at the boy " Uhu, a little date, what?"

Charmy scratches embarrassed his head. " Uhm...no, just hang out at the ice cream parlor in the park!"

Now the other two laughing, Espio shock his head. " Charmy, we know what´s up with you two, so be honest."

Charmy sighs. " Okay, okay, i like her a lot. So, what is with the date?"

Vector look at the clock. " Well, it´s afternoon now, today we don´t left after the documents, your date should be safe. It´s okay."

Espio crossed his arms. " Well, cause for that is you like her mother a lot huh?"

Vector glares at him. " Whoa, whoa, whoa! Miss Vanilla is a kind and lovely lady okay? I have a lot of respect for her helping and friendly character."

Espio and Charmy changed an amused look, then the chameleon points to the gems. " Anyway, lets look through this documents."

Vector noded and put the gems back into the bag and put it aside. "That the shimmering of the gems looks more like a blinking they didn´t not

" Your Highness, i beg you for a place for me and my people to live in your kingdom! Our village isn´t safe anymore!" Bellezana kneels in front of Sally father and blinks innocent like before.

Sally exchanges a knowing look with Nicole, both grinning. seemingly the wolf girl was a bit sly. But Sally knows her dad, a sweet smile and some charms wouldn't wrap him around the finger. Now the king straighten his moustache while he think, then he nod friendly. " Stood up my dear! Well, in the Kingdom of Acorn is always a place for people who wants to be free! When your people are save they can move here! It´s a pleasure for me!"

Bellezana clap her hands in joy, then she stop and blushes. " Oh, excuse me your majesty! Thank you so, so much! BUENO!"

The king smiles amused. " Oh well, the over- whelming energy of the youth! You are invited to look around in our kingdom! Do you have a place to stay?"

Sally made a step forward. " Well, daddy, i offered her to stay on the Sky Patrol for some days. When Sonic and Amy are snack, we plan the rescue of her people and where they can settle down."

Her father nodes. " Very well! Perfect organized like usual!"

Sally giggles then she turn around to Nicole. " Alright, Bellezana and me go back to the Sky Patrol! See you after you done here!"

Nicole wrap her arm around Sally. " Wouldn´t take long, child's play for me." Both kissed for a moment, then Sally look over to her father and scratched her head. It was still a bit embarrassing to kiss Nicole in front of him. but being still a teenager means all is embarrassing.

Her father smiles amused. woah, Sally hopes he don't say how cute or something. but Nigel Acorn only step over and hugs his daughter. " No worries Sally, Nicole is safe here, i will defend her with my own life if necessary!" He turns to Nicole. " Well, Nicole, lets go to the server room."

While the three were talking, Bellezana places some gems of her bracelet under a chair. When she was done, Sally turns to her. " Alright, lets go Bellezana. But one thing, stop teasing Antoine please, Bunnie can be very jealous and i don´t want any trouble in the team!"

The wolf girl nods. " Okay, s-sorry! He looks so good...i stop it, i promise." the other smiling amused as Bellezana and Sally left the thorn room.

When they approach the gate of the castle, Walker the Bilby passes their way. Sneak's grandfather live in town, he and Sir Charles doing research about the Dark Gaia fragments. And it was clear now that Walker was a little charmer around woman. He flirts a lot but he was alway funny, gentle and respectful. Sally was even amused when he compliments her. A lot of the young servants in the castle giggeling when he flirts with them..

Sneak told Sally one time that Walker and her grandmother were togehter for a short time. and two years after they spilt up, she knocked on Walkers door, putting her two year old daughter Lorna in his arms. Saying she is done with his brat and left them behind. Walker didn`t know until that moment he had a daughter. Sneak didn't know her grandmother and she didn`t care. She was angry that the woman gave her mother away.

Walker did everything to raise his daughter and being there for her. He was a little heartthrob, but no bad guy. The grey bilby man with the shabby old leather jacket and the tousled white hair smiles when the two girls stop in front of him. " Princess Sally, adorable as always! And who´s that gorgeous lady here?"

Bellezana blushes, Sally laughs, " Hey Walker, slow down old sweet talker! This is Bellezana, her village is in danger, we wanna save her people!"

The scientist nodes. " No worries young lady, this team of heroes is amazing! My granddaughter is part of them, a tough bunch!" Then he turns around, his smile gets wider. " Oh, hello Miss Rosie!"

Sally follows his view to her old former nanny coming around the corner with a group of children with her. The chipmunk-girl was happy that Rosie Woodchuck still cares for orphans with all of her heart.

And Walker has seemingly a thing for Rosie. Rosie wave with a smile, Walker winks to Sally and he walked over to the elderly lady. " Miss Rosie, today you shining again in a competition with the sun, and im sure i know who wins! You look delightful as always!"

Rosie get a bit embarrassed and giggles. " Mister Walker, you´re a sassy one."

The kids, Sally and Bellezana giggled too. Walker was a really big charmer.

Sally and Bellezana said goodbye and left the castle. When they enter the gate, Bellezana look to the side, her view hit the eyes of a brown wolf who places a box beside the entrance. He nodes and she winks. When the girls were outside, the wolf look inside the box. Some black gems were inside.

Nicole follows the king into the server room. A white arctic fox girl working on a junction box and whistling a song look up when they came in. She stood up and salutes. " Your Highness! Im nearly done, i..."

The king smiles amused. " Scatty, relax. This is Nicole, she looks for the computer system."

The girl, Nicole guesses her to be around 18 years old, nodes and bows. " Thanks your Highness!" She nod over to Nicole and blinks with her ice blue eyes. " You are Nicole the Holo-Lynx, right? Cool, i´m Scatty the Arctic Fox, i began three weeks ago here as a mechanic! When you are done with the computer, can i ask you something? Or better now, is it possible that i can see the Sky Patrol, even the blueprints? That thing is awesome!"

Scatty wear a orange work pants, a matching tank top with some oil stains, brown gloves, light brown reddish brown boot and wears brown welding goggles with black glasses on her head. a orange headband tire to hold her long hair, but some strands hanging down in her face and her hair look still a bit messy. a pen stuck behind her ear and a wrench truck in her brown belt.

Nicole shake her her hand. " Hey, how´s it going? I think we can make this! Rotor and Tails would be happy to talk with someone about the Sky Patrol who is familiar with machines!" Scatty claps her hands in excitement. " COOL!"

Nicole smiles and take place at the Computer terminal, getting the handheld connected to it. Scatty grins and goes on with her work. The king take a seat beside her and look for awhile.

Then he clears his throat. " Nicole?" The lynx girl turns around while she still fixes the systems. " Your Highness?"

Sally's father seem a bit unsure. " We had no time to talk about your relationship with Sally alone, and..." He took a breather, Nicole hesitates for a moment, then he goes' on. " I´m happy how you make Sally smile! Her smile reminds me of her mother."

He stopped and looks down, Nicole turned around in her chair and grabs his hands " Sally even misses her, even she can´t remember her face full, but she remembers her voice! It would be nice if i had ever a chance to meet her!"

Now the King look up with tears in his eyes. " Allison, she, she would have like you! I miss her all day, so it is a good thing how happy Sally is with you! I just want you to know that, thank you."

Nicole get a bit embarrassed. " T-thank you your Highness You don´t have to thank me for this. Sally means a lot to me, i can´t find the words!"

The king smiles amused. " You find no words? That will be something. My Sally is just someone special."

Nicole giggles. " She is! Well, uhm, i should go on with this." She turn around to the the computer.

Scatty smiles and wipes her eyes. " S-sorry, wasn´t meant for my ears, but it is so sweet."

the king laughs. " Nah, it´s alright Scatty."

Nicole look over to the fox girl. " You seem very nice, Rotor and Tails will like you! Lets finish this here."

The king nodes " And after that we get some tea and cake, i insist. Even you Scatty."

Both girl laughed " Sure, we´re in!"

Sneak saw Big walking down the hallway and waves. " Hey, Big! Wait a moment! "

The cat stops and turns around, with a big grin he waves back. " Hey Sneak!"

The bilby girl rushes over to him and looked up. Froggy sat on the head of the cat seemingly sleepy. Sneak puts her hands on her hips. " Dude, where you going?"

Big points down the hallway, " Into the Kitchen looking for a snack." Wanna join?"

Sneak smirks. " Hmm, Antoine made some Eclairs, lets snack some away and let us see if he notices."

Big giggles. " Sounds fun! Lets go!" They walk through the kitchen, Sneak carrying her stick while she was thinking how she could talk with Big about the the whole love thing.

She realizes that she maybe got some affection for him. She was happy when he was around, she found it sweet when he hold her in his arms yesterday and somehow she find his ears cute... but to be honest she shivers at the thought to talk about that with him. Probably she could when they sat down with a snack, more relaxed.

Sonic was waiting in front of the village when Amy lands with the Pink Cabriolet. She brought the members of the Wolf Pack home while Sonic ran to the village. Amy left the vehicle and stepped beside Sonic. she frowns. " Here did they live? Looks very old, and abandoned."

Sonic nodes. " Indeed Ames, but who knows? Maybe they live very simple and don´t need more. Bellezana wears simple clothing too." He walk some steps forward. the two hedgehogs saw around a dozen old stone houses, partly derelict and overgrown by ivy.

Amy giggles. " Be honest, she looks cute in her stuff, right?"

Sonic turns around and rolles his eyes." Yes, she´s pretty, but she has not something special!"

Amy blinks. " and what is that special...something?"

Sonic winks, smiling. " Hmm, something cool in the style, a nice jacket or something!"

Amy smirks. Alright, she looks around again. She got the feeling something missing. Then she got it. " Sonic, there are no signs of a fight, but after what Bellezana told us there must be something!"

The blue hedgehog nodes." You´re right, very odd. Lets go and look around, maybe we find something on the other side of the village!"

They start walking through the buildings. When they passing the first buildings, Sonic look at Amy. " Uhm, Ames, when you and Perky were last time in Station Square, were you two just shopping? Or meet some people you...you just know?"

Amy giggles, some week ago she was on a shopping trip in station square with Perky, that day she bought even the new outfit she wears. The Pink Cadillac was so full with shopping bags that both girls nearly get stuck in the car.

The pink hedgehog girl smiles. " Let me guess, you wanna know if i meet Tyler again, right? And if we spend time together?"

Before they meet Sneak and Perky, Amy met an red ocelot boy on a trip at station square. Tyler was fifteen. tall and handsome, and he fölirts heavy with Amy. Bunnie and Sally made jokes about how Tyler would kiss and marry the hedgehog girl directly. Sonic was even with them on the trip and seemingly he wasn't amused about how Tyler was flirty with the girl.

Amy enjoyed the attention and somehow it was funny to make Sonic a bit jealous. When they left, she blows a kiss towards Tyler and winks at him. Sonic pouts the whole way home. Saying he was upset of getting no chilli dogs.

Now the blue hedgehog sighs. " Well, i mean, that guy is a heartbreaker, i saw that! That guy is dating several girls the same time and hurt them! I´m just concerned about you."

Amy smiles. " Well, no worries, i mean it´s sweet of you. Didn´t see Tyler again! But as a woman it´s nice to get compliments, or not?"

Sonic nodes with a smile, he seems relieved. " Well, okay, just wanted to know. And compliments, well, your new look is cool, it suits you. Something new after your dress."

Amy grins sassy. " You like it, huh? You told me it suits me before. It´s from Honey´s newest collection. You know, we had a new line together. This is the Adventure Girlie Look!" She winks, puts a thumb up and poses. " When it´s not cute AND exiting, it´s not Honey!"

She giggles, Sonic laughs. " I must admit, that´s your thing!" Then he stops, scratching his forehead seemingly nervous. . " Ames, listen, when we are back... in the last weeks i realize, uhm, well, i wanna go on a date with you!"

Amy's grin gets wider, in her head an imaginary Amy jumps around and cheers. She puts her hands on her hips and blinks at Sonic. " Hmm, let me see. Shopping with Perky, baking with Cream, workout with Sally, i´m a busy girl, not much time left."

Sonic sighs " Come on Ames, you still have a thing for me, right?" he looks confused,

Amy laugh. " Well, a little bit." Sonic widen his eyes in shock, the girl giggles. " Still, my sweet blue hedgie! But, i am a very busy lady, not sure if i have a lot time for a date! But next Friday night, i have some time!"

Sonic sigh again in relief. " Would this cute, busy young lady maybe go on a date with a very fast, maybe a bit stubborn handsome hedgehog who doesn´t notice how adorable that lady is? And this for too long? And the date, no chili dogs, a real dinner date! I think of that fancy restaurant in Mobotropolis."

Amy smiles and nodes " Well, you have to reserve a table as soon as you can."

Sonic laughs. " Well, that´s no thing! I have a favor good by that guys." He stepped a bit closer and grabs her hands. with both of his hands. " All this years you were one of my closest friends and comrades, but now i see more in you, somehow that what you see in me!"

Amy blinks, was this a dream? no this was for real. for a moment they stood there, without saying a word, when a loud noise could be heard from the direction they came from she frowns. " Sounds like it was near the Pink Cabriolet, lets see what it is!"

Sonic nodes. Then both head back to the vehicle. That some black gems where hidden between the buildings and some debris both didn't notice.

It was dusk when Sally and Bellezana left the elevator to the hangar of the Sky Patrol. The wolf girl look around, astounded. " Your flying home is fantastic! All is so huge, modern, it´s fantastic! Is it possible i can see everything? Someone could guide me, and it must not be the elegant sword fighter, don´t wanna cause any trouble!"

She wink toward Sally with a grin and bows over. " I even enjoy your company! You are strong, beautiful, inch for inch a real leader!" She blinks sweet with her eyes. " But sadly you are taken." She whispers with a sensual tone.

Sally clears her throat, Bellezana know her skills. " Thank you for the compliment, you´re really good in flirting. Hmm, Rotor can show you the Sky Patrol, he was involved in the construction with Tails."

Bellezana claps her hands. " That will be nice! The chico with the goggles seems very nice! Is he single?"

Sally rolles her eyes amused." Are you on search for a husband?"

Bellezana smiles silly. " Well, i´m 18, in my village this is the time to get married! And when we get them all rescued, they will be surprised when i have a famous hero as fiancé!"

Now Sally laughs. " Your family would be impressed huh? Rotor is single, but if he notices a girl... he is sooo deep into his projects."

Bellezana shrugs " A nice chico, smart and handsome, nothing better! This would be a thing after the attack on the village, a big wedding with all needed. A big fiesta!"

They approach the meeting room where Rotor repairs one of the chairs. He looked up when Sally and Bellezana came in. " Hey you two are back! When im done, that chair is more comfortable than before. I guess Nicole does her thing?"

Sally nodes and puts a thumb up. " What do you think? Rotor, when you´re done here, can you show Bellezana the Sky Patrol? You and Tails build it, you know all about it. But spare her to look at the bathrooms, it´s not that exiting!"

The walrus laughs. " Okay, okay! Sure, will be a pleasure for me! Bellezana, you will be astounded! The Sky Patrol is fantastic!"

The wolf girl smiles and look over to Sally. " And he has good manners, bueno!"

Sally nodes. " Alright, i look for the others. See you later you two."

She left the meeting room, Rotor would be surprised when the wolf girl stars flirting with him. Sally must admit, Bellezana was a beauty and has something that made her nervous. But Nicole was still everything for her.

Rotor packed up his tools and smiles at Bellezana. " Well, what do you wanna see first? The medical bay, the training room...?"

The girl thinks for a moment then she noded. " Where you produce the energy for the Sky Patrol? Should be an idea for my tribe when they settle down here! Can you show me that?"

She smiles sweet at Rotor, as he smile back. " Uhm, sure. The engine room, the masterpiece! Let me guide you there, my dear."

Bellezana laughs. " A real caballero! Si si!" She linked her arm with Rotor, making him blush, then they left the meeting room. Again two gems of Bellezana bracelet were placed under a chair, and again no one noticed.
