"Wake up."
When the young boy heard someone calling out to him, he gasps loudly and sat up quickly with a startled expression, he looks around a bit confused and slightly dazed, but once he was able to get his bearings and focus, he was able to remember what happened and recognize where he was, which made him calm down instantly and sighs
"Was I able to save her, Six?"
He rubs his head, which aches a little, as he turns his attention and looks at the older man that stood beside his medical bed, he looked clean and fit, well dressed in green, had cool shades, and just looked very professional in general, his 'name?' was Six, and he just stares back at the younger man with an unreadable expression
"Yes, in fact, we just sent her and her dog away a few minutes ago."
Hearing Six not only confirmed that the girl and her dog, whom he saved, were alive and well, but also seemed to have made a full enough recovery that they were sent home, or at least he assumed she and her pet was sent home before he could even wake up and check up on them
'Shame, I didn't even get a chance to say hi to her.'
But even with that in mind, he couldn't help but sighs in relief and smile to himself, as he was just glad to have helped someone and prevented them from dying, that thought alone was enough to soothe his heart and no longer worry about her and her dog dying in his arms
"Since you seem to have fully recovered yourself, White Knight has a special mission for you."
Six interrupted his thoughts by bringing up something that caught his attention
"What mission? The usual butt-kicking and curing some rampaging EVOS?"
He couldn't help but feel a little pumped and eager to punch someone or something, after nearly being traumatized by seeing someone almost die, having an excuse to beat up some EVOS and let out some emotions sounds good right about now
"Curing, yes, but fighting, not this time, we've sent our new recruit to fight the threat, testing them to see if they're fit to become your partner."
Six once again said something that caught his attention, the feeling of wanting to fight is now replaced with curiosity about this so-called 'New Partner'
"Oh? And I'm guessing I am going to watch them be cool and see if they're awesome enough to become my sidekick?"
The possibility of a sidekick never really crossed his mind, since he somewhat already has a certain ape as a partner, though he won't deny that having someone else on the team would be a nice change of pace, especially if they're cleaner than his monkey and more fun than the person who doesn't have a sense of humor or know any kind of fun
"If you wish to call it that, then yes."
Six, the Agent of humorless and unfun, just simply nods in confirmation of what the young man needed to do, which he wasted no time getting out of bed and getting himself ready
"No problem Six, I'll be sure not to be biased and not give them any unfair points when grading them~"
Once he puts on his signature red jacket and had his goggles back on over his eyes, he crossed his arms and, out of nowhere, managed to summon some kind of large orange jetpack from his body and onto his back, he glanced back at the man in green and gave him a smirk
"Now then, tell me where the final exam is taking place?"
Meanwhile, at some kind of city that seemed to resemble New York, a very large creature, that looked to be half the size of most large buildings in the surrounding area, was in the middle of causing a very large ramage, smacking its arms, tentacles, tails thingy everywhere, crushing everything with its large foot pads claws thingy, and letting out a very loud roar that not only shattered every window nearby and further but also managed to catch everyone attention and either make them run for their lives or let a certain young man with an orange jetpack know where the monster was at, he landed at a random building top and used his goggles to zoom in at the creature and the surrounding area, trying his best to understand the situation and destruction that was happening
"Well our boys in Providence's already evacuated the citizens, and the monster is in a good location to be punched a lot in the face, or faces?"
He then looks away from the situation and started checking the surrounding areas, as if looking for something specific
"Though it won't be me doing it this time, or at least I will only kick butt if my quote and quote, 'New Partner', fails to at the very least do some actual damage to this EVO, though I have some doubts that they could be as awesome as me~"
He then hums softly as he wore a light frown in confusion and narrows his eyes slightly in suspicion as he continues to look around the place he was at
'Though where is my soon-to-be maybe sidekick, I thought they would be here by now?'
Though just as he was about to call Six and ask him questions about what was going on, he immediately saw and got startled by a certain orange hair girl and her dog, that stood before the EVO, which starts to charge after the two when it noticed them
"H-HEY! GET OUT OF THERE!!!"
He was about to jump and fly toward her and her dog to rescue them, refusing to see someone he saved get hurt again, but before he could even do so
"KORO! Number 1-Shinkou's Ball Of Justice!"
As soon as the girl said this to her dog, now known as Koro, the dog suddenly bite onto her whole robot arm, which was then suddenly replaced with a very large ball of spikes, once she has gotten this new weapon, she did not hesitate to use and swing it against the EVO face, with enough force to knock it back
"KORO! Number 7-Taizan's Cannon Of Justice!"
After dazing and stunning the EVO, Koro swallowed the spike ball from her arm and quickly replaced her weapon with a new different one, which looked to be a very large anti-tank cannon, she aimed it at the arms and legs of the large monster and started to blow them completely off, making it roar loudly in pain as it falls over, but it was still able to move and it was very determined to hurt her if it was the last thing it does
"KORO! Arms! And Number 4-Snake Wrap Of Justice!"
Before the EVO could cause any kind of harm to them, it was suddenly stopped by a large white hand, which came from Koro, who was now much larger than before, which made a certain watcher look in disgust and even gag a little
"KORO! You Hurt! I Capture!"
After Koro gave the girl a new weapon, which was a large hook connected to a long chain, the big then wasted no time punching the ever-living daylights at the EVO, not even giving it a chance to recover or fight back, and while he does this, his owner quickly did what she planned out to do, which was shooting a hook into the monster skin and started to wrap it around all over its body, with the obvious intentions to both capture it and preventing it from escaping to cause more destruction, and by the time that the big muscle arm white dog was done punching the creatures faces so much that it was completely unrecognizable, the young lady was done with what she needed to do and had successfully contained the EVO
"Wow…"
Was all the young boy could say after watching the whole thing go down, though as he was recovering from his surprised expression, the young girl noticed and saw him, she smiles excitedly as she quickly picks up Koro, after he returned to normal size once he gave her normal arms back, and used her robotic arms to blast herself into the air and fly towards the person who saw her do what she did, which again startled him when he saw her flying and landed right in front of him
"I am the new recruit and junior soldier, Seryu Ubiquitous, and this is my partner Koro!~"
After landing, the young girl, now known as Seryu Ubiquitous, spoke to him with obvious respect and eagerness, so much so that she even saluted to him like he was some kind of general, Koro just woofs and cutely waved
"It is an honor to fight for Justice alongside you, Commander Rex!~"
After Seryu gave her introduction to her so-called Commander, now known as Rex, he was left completely stumped and very unsure of what to say next in all honesty
"... A, you passed..."
Everything will be explained in the next chapter, but in Seryu's perspective and what she has been told, Rex is basically a Commanding Officer or General to her, and as such, she will be completely loyal and follow any orders he gives her, so in other word, it's his job to keep an eye on her and make sure she doesn't commit mass murder, lol~

[Seryu]
Superhuman: Is equally as strong and fast as Rex and Six.
Martial Artist And Gunslinger: Knows how to fight and use any gun-like weapons with near-perfect accuracy.
Standard Equipment: Two tonfa-shaped guns that are mostly used as a last resort weapon or used against normal human-like character, it has both live rounds and rubber bullets, she also has a handbag just in case Koro is not available, carrying basic supplies, extra ammo, handcuffs, and snacks and drinks.
Hidden Equipment: When she removes her arms, there would be hidden guns, if removed her legs, there would be hidden swords, and in her mouth is a single shot one bullet gun.
Iron Fist And Feet: Just imagine the basic Ironman thing, but less advanced, limited blast before self-recharge, doing a large laser blast will destroy her arms, also she can do some small amount of flying, not only that but they can be removed and replaced with her Numbered Weapons, which are kept and made inside Koro.
Number 1-Shinkou's Ball of Justice: A large flail that can take down a large number of opponents.
Number 2-Raining Valkyrie of Justice: Four missile turrets that can be used to send out a volley of missiles.
Number 3-Sung Dynasty Blade: A large sword with a giant blade attached directly to Seryu's arm.
Number 4-Snake Wrap of Justice: Unnamed Hook-shot
Number 5-Enma's Spear of Justice: A large drill-like spear that is capable of mowing down a large number of opponents. It can be launched to be used as a long-range attack. It can also explode if necessary.
Number 6-Atomic Nuke of Justice: A giant armor-reinforced missile that explodes on impact.
Number 7-Taizan's Cannon of Justice: A long-ranged anti-tank rifle with high destructive power.
Number 8-Showering Light of Justice: An arm that launches missiles.
Number 9-Justice City Detector: An arm with a radar that detects living beings in a certain area.
Final Number-Chakravartin Furnace of Five Hells: A small box, with a 10 min countdown, once it hits zero, it has enough power to destroy an entire island, she only has one though.
[Koro]
Immortality: He can endlessly regenerate no matter what damage is dealt to him, the only way to 100% kill him is to kill his owner since his life is now connected to Seryu after the upgrade.
Creation: Can create almost anything inside his body, mostly used to make or reload Seryu weapons, but can also make other stuff like clothes and tools, but can't make anything complex like robots or organic life, unless given a large amount of outside resources and time to make it functional.
Shapeshifting: He can change his entire body, allowing him to fight alongside his owner, like muscular arms for extra strength or a slender body for speed, however, it is limited, cause if he does too much with his body, he will be rendered weak and exhausted to fight or even supply Seryu with the appropriate equipment, it's not like he can't do more, but they should only be used as a last resort and only as trump cards, which he does have 5 types in total.
Mode 1-Berserk: Basic monster form, which increases his size, strength, and speed, it is powerful enough to handle a large basic army or casually destroy an entire village without stopping, it can last for an entire day before returning to normal, only needs an hour of rest and some snacks to fully recover.
Mode 2-Savoir: Can split into 1000 copies of his cute doggie self, mostly used to save all the nearby civilians that need help to evacuate, they lose the ability to shapeshift and it can only last for 1 hour or less before returning to normal and needing an entire day of rest to fully recover.
Mode 3-Tank: the same size as his berserk mode, maybe a bit bigger and less muscular, but in return has 3 levels of armor, which are thick fat, diamonds, and pure metal, it is mostly used for distraction, protection, or emergency transportation, the time limit is if his armor is completely destroyed or not, if not, then he will be fine and ready to help again, though if it was destroyed, then he would need a couple of hours to rest and a lot of snacks to fully recover.
Mode 4-Overkill: Imagine his berserk mode, and give him all of Seryu's weapons, it can last for 10 minutes before returning to normal, and needs a week of rest to fully recover.
Mode 5-Kaiju: He might look like his cute huggable plush self but will be the size of a building, maybe bigger, and be just as strong, plus breathing fire for good measure, it can last for 5 minutes before returning to normal and needs a month of rest to recover.
