Oliver and Laurel were now returning home from their week-long honeymoon in the tropics. They were glad to be home but at the same time, they wished that they didn't have to come back to reality because that meant that they would be having to go back to work on keeping their city safe.

They arrived in the city late that night, so they wasted no time in going to the bunker to see how things had been going since they left. Everything seemed to be going well from the looks of things in the bunker. There was not much going on. It looked like the team was doing more training than anything else at this point of time.

The team heard a noise and they turned around to see that it was Oliver and Laurel who were entering through the back door. "So, how was the honeymoon?" Sara asked.

"It was great. We are glad to be home, but it is overwhelming to think that we have to get back to work on saving the city. It was so nice not to have to worry about that for a week." Laurel said.

"Yeah. Back to reality. It is going to be rough for us for a few days." Oliver said.

"You will be fine, Ollie. The both of you will figure things out." Thea said.

"So, what had been going on while we were gone?" Oliver asked.

"Not too much. We had to stop a couple of robberies, but other than that, Everything went fine." Kara said.

"Good. Well for us to get back in the hang of things. I think Ollie and I should go out on a patrol just to get back in our groove." Laurel said.

"Sounds good. We will see both of you when you get back." Barry said as Oliver and Laurel went to change into their suits and then left for a few hours of patrol.

. . .

The next morning it was time for Oliver and Laurel to see their families again. When they woke up the next morning, they walked into the dining room to see Moira, Robert, Thea, and Kara sitting there eating.

Moira looked up at the two as they entered the room and smiled. "So, how was the honeymoon?"

"It was fun. I just wish we had more time. It felt like it flew by." Oliver said.

"That happens when you are having fun, son. It might be hard to get back into things, but it will happen before you know it. What are your plans for the day anyway?" Robert asked.

"Well, we figured that we would eat breakfast with all of you and then we would make our way over to my family's house and have lunch or dinner with them." Laurel said.

"That sounds like a great plan, dear. I know your mom and dad will be happy to see you." Moira said.

"Yeah. Then after that, we will probably go and check on how things are going at the club. I am sure everything is fine, but you know how I am, I want to make sure everything is running smoothly." Oliver said.

"Yes. You are very much like your father in that regard. You are always wanting everything to run smoothly and you will do anything in your power to make that happen." Moira said.

Oliver and Laurel then sat down at the table and everyone began to eat. There was conversation going on the whole time about what they did on their honeymoon and that was giving Kara ideas for what she wanted to do when she and Barry were on their honeymoon. It didn't take long for them to finish eating and with that it was time for Oliver and Laurel to go and see the rest of their family.

. . .

It was a little after noon when Oliver and Laurel arrived at the Lance House and they were greeted enthusiastically by Dinah who was the one who opened the door. They walked in to see Quintin and Barry watching a game on the television. It looked like baseball season was in full swing right now. Oliver went to sit and watch the game with Quintin and Barry, while Laurel went with the girls into the other room so that they could talk about the honeymoon.

Everything was going well with this visit and they were happy to be with their family again after a week away from them. They soon were all called in for lunch and just like before, at the Queen Mansion, everyone seemed to want to hear about the honeymoon over anything else.

"I bet you guys had a whole lot of fun." Barry said.

"We did. We told all of my family about it at home and I think Kara is getting plenty of ideas of what to do for your honeymoon Barry." Oliver said.

"Well, that is good I guess. We all know that I am not good at planning things anyway. It is probably a good idea that she is getting ideas from the two of you." Barry said.

"She was very enthusiastic with her questions. I think she has tons of ideas now. Hopefully she doesn't overwhelm you with so much." Laurel said.

"Everything will be fine Barry. I am sure that Kara isn't as bad as they are making her out to be." Dinah said with a smile.

"Yeah. We might be exaggerating a bit. She is excited though. So, any plans made for your wedding yet?" Oliver asked.

"Just that we want to have a spring wedding, so that probably means that we will have to wait until next year sometime." Barry said.

"That's ok. You guys deserve to wait a while. There is no need to rush things. Oliver and I just wanted to be married. I can see you and Kara having more people and a more traditional wedding than Oliver and I did anyway." Laurel said.

"Yeah. That sounds about right. We will still be asking about advice from you two though." Barry said.

"Happy to help in any way that we can." Laurel said as they all got back to eating and having a good day with their family and friends.
