Chapter Three:

"We could call it the Unbanisher." Tony joked as he hammered a nail into place.

Clint groaned, before picking up an arrow to spin around between his fingers. "We're not calling it that."

"But..!" Tony broke off with a yelp as wadded up pieces of the torn sail flew at his head from all sides.

Thor burst out laughing, amusement flashing in his eyes as he looked around the scattered banished pirates. "Are all outside of Asgard this entertaining?"

Natasha shoved a fairly intact sail into Clint's arms. "No...this is what it looks like when you place a bunch of pirates that don't like each other together and expect them to get along."

Bruce tossed another bag full of ruined medical supplies into the depressingly large pile of ruined past their ability to salvage. "If we loose anymore supplies, we won't make it to the mainland."

Steve sighed at that, nudging an empty slot were a cannon was supposed to be located. "We don't have any of the ship's defenses either."

"Back to the pressing matter of a ship name, how about the Jolly Rogers." Clint snickered at that, amusement dancing in his eyes.

Steve ripped open a barrel to check to see if the gun powder stored there was still usable. "We are not naming the ship after me... besides that, that is way too close to a famous pirate ship, The Jolly Roger."

Clint rolled his eyes at that, before going back to stitching the sail back up. "Oh like you could have come up with better..."

"The Mayflower Plunderer."

"The Neptune's Death."

"The Burning Eel."

"The Evil Sun."

"The Night Coward." All eyes turned to stare at Bruce upon hearing him say that.

Bruce hastily lifted his hands up in front of him. "What? I'm just saying! I cannot be the only one that is terrified of losing against Loki."

Tony rolled his eyes at that, turning back to fixing up the ship. "We need more parts than what we've got here." He muttered under his breath, not intending to let anyone to hear him.

Unfortunately, Steve heard him. "And where do you think we can get more parts from? Deserted Island hello!" Steve gestured around wildly to indicate that they were still by themselves.

Tony opened his mouth to point out that they could attempt to chop down trees to make the wood they need to continue building, when he spotted his suitcase laying in the sand. Snapping his mouth shut for a second, he debated on the merits of showing the others what his suitcase really was... deciding that it didn't matter, he turned to face his fellow captain. "I could swim down and see if there are any other fairly salvageable shipwrecks around here."

"And how do you intend to do that? You need oxygen to breath." Steve crossed his arms, annoyance flashing in his eyes.

Tony smirked as he took a step back, towards his suit. "With this baby of mine." He stretched out his arms, quickly hitting the button on his wristwatch as he did so. Immediately, his suitcase flew towards him, unfolding as it did so to reveal that it actually was a red and gold metal suit. It snapped itself unto him, completely covering him. "This thing provides the wearer with some oxygen. Long as I'm fairly quick about it, I can locate the shipwrecks to help us out... the only problem will be moving them up here to shore."

"My people don't need oxygen in the same way you do, magic and all that." Thor offered to help.

Bruce spoke up, tugging nervously at his sleeve. "I'm not entirely sure, but I think Hulk can hold his breath longer than most."

"Cool. Let's get to work dragging shipwrecks back up here." Tony punched the air in excitement.

Steve eyed the new and sea-approved ship that sat near the edge of the water. Apparently, there were several shipwrecks around the area. Some of which were military and not pirate. Once they had cleaned everything up, and fixed everything they needed up, they had a rather unique ship to call their own. It was mostly military, for some reason those were the ones in the best shape and most salvageable, with barely anything that might mark it as a pirate ship. After finding an ancient lock box that was still water tight on one of the ships, they cracked it open to find an old photo album from back in the day with photos surprisingly enough of a large pirate crew that looked happy, unheard of!, and six of them looked exactly like the six of them. Oddly enough, in the back of the album and been a note addressed to both Tony and Steve, telling them that Avengers was piratey enough of a name to satisfy the pirates, but military enough to make people trust them. On the other side of the note was the blue print for what was labeled as the First Helicarrier. Oddly enough everything that they needed to build that was already here, in great condition too.

"Are we sure that a flying ship is safe?" Clint crossed his arms, though whether is was because they decided to use the completely intact sail that was on the same ship as the album or not so his work with mending the sail was pointless, they couldn't tell.

"Should be interesting." Natasha grinned, intrigued by this new very high tech marvel they were about to embark on.

"It will get us to the mainland in time to stop my brother. That is all that matters." Thor announced, already bouncing a little bit.

"We followed the blueprints to a tee, so we shouldn't even need the sails up until we're closer to land." Tony smiled at that thought, excited to be one of the first to be on a flying ship.

"Are we sure that the Helicarrier isn't going to come crashing out of the sky without any warning?" Bruce shoved his hands into his pockets, anxiety dancing in his eyes as he eyed the large ship.

"Absolutely no clue!" Tony sounded far too excited with that announcement, even as he grabbed Bruce by the arm and dragged him on board. "Watch out Loki! The Avengers are coming!"

A/N: So No one reviewed last chapter... or the chapter before that... is it just not a good story or something? Please let me know! Also what did you think of that old photo album and the note, and the blueprints? Also majority of the pirate ship names came from a name generator. Sorry not that creative. (Though I did use one of the ones that used the word coward in it that it came up with. I found them hilarious since no one hears pirates and thinks cowards)
