Chapter 2-A fortune Reunion
Hey everyone I am back and before I do anything first I just to thank you, guys, for liking my first chapter it means a lot second I just want to state there's gonna be some changes with the lore and of add ons to it third I'll respond to some of the reviews I got

First arc: Misfortune emanation
Academy City is a place of science so advanced it's at least a decade ahead in technology compared to the rest of the world but that's not what is of focus right now because now we are heading into another new beginning for our resident misfortune hero Kamijou Touma.
As Touma is walking to a restaurant with his companions Index and othinus as they pass through the street he could feel the cold air breeze through him as he looked up to the cloudy sky and the gigantic buildings towering over them as some of them even reach the sky as he looked he thought about his encounter with his emanation.
"I wonder if he will ever come back," Touma thought as he clenched his fist because the very idea of him coming back sickens him to the core. The emanation of Touma, The one born from the distortion of quantum physics, the one filled with memories of the past and could use the power of imagine breaker the thought of him coming back only spelt trouble.
But he quickly cast that thought aside because for some reason today he felt a burning in his chest and nudging at his head. It felt like his heart and soul were trying to tell him something and he didn't know what to think of it.
Was this his emanation trying to speak to him? He contemplated that idea for a bit but then he realized what was causing this. It was the Kamijou Touma of the past, the one who saved Index and the one who "died" on July 28.
"Why is he acting now and what does he want?" Touma questioned, he was confused by this whole situation as he felt the contrast of the warm feeling in his chest against the cold winter breeze.
Touma didn't know what to think about this a million thoughts ran through his head like "What is he telling me?" And "What was he asking me to do?" As he felt a tear roll down his cheek and a feeling of nostalgia run through him. As he was distracted by those thoughts he crashed into someone as he heard a shout and oddly felt something bounce off his chest.
"Ah! Oh sorry, I didn't see you there-" Touma cut himself off as he fully saw the girl he knocked over and had been entranced by how beautiful this girl is. As he saw her pale complexion, long sleek ebony black hair, that looked like a shadow with a streak of white in it there were also two sky blue studded earrings both contrasting the black nicely and with how her clothes fit her body made her look like a supermodel. He then realizes how this girl covers herself in black like she was clothed in darkness with the black gothic dress. That made her look like she was at a funeral with black nail polish and black ebony lipstick. That encouraged the look and those black eyes that seem like a starless night sky. The only thing that contrasted this style were two things as said before: the white streak in her hair and stub sky blue earrings.
In short, she was one of the most beautiful girls he had seen.
"Woah what a beauty I can't believe I knocked her over WAIT! I knocked her over damn it of course I accidentally pushed a beauty like her into the ground such misfortune" Touma thought as he put a hand out for the gothic beauty he accidentally knocked to the hard concrete ground.
As he was thinking that he cut himself off when he saw the expression of shock and nostalgia on the girl's face as she looked up to him with wide eyes.
"Uhhh is there something on my face?" Touma questioned, concerned by her reaction towards him.
The girl began to hold him as he once again miraculously met her once more.
Yakudoshi Pov
A few minutes earlier
As she walked through this cold and unfeeling city of science this calamitous girl was alone as no one walked beside her. Her life was that of a lonely path with no one to talk to, no one to walk with and no one to walk to.
Her life was turned upside down on the day of the infamous stabbing and the day her blissful dream had been shattered like the town that day. Unlike the person she loves she had no pillar and no understander she had no one. She only had him and the hope of being able to meet him face-to-face once more.
"I wonder if that incident didn't happen, could I have gotten what I wanted? I could've been with him, my light, my hero, my Touma" Yaku thought of these questions as she usually did because of how disconnected she was from the world she wasn't even seen by Kazakiri as she was truly alone.
Yaku strolled around this city like a ghost as she weaved through the crowd of people. As she tried to figure out why she felt different today the warmth in her chest grew more and more as she battled against the cold wind. She was lost in her thoughts as she crashed into the cause of her questions.
"Ow that hurt-" Yaku cut herself off as she saw who she bumped into. She bumped into him, HIM out of the 2.3 million people in this city she bumped into HIM. Maybe this was a twist of fate, a stroke of luck or a chance of maybe being able to start over.
But did she deserve this? Did she deserve this miracle, this twist of fate, this lucky coin toss, this stroke of luck? Before she could even say anything her body reacted on its own as tears streamed down her face. As she could feel the softness of his body, the fabric of his jacket and the warmth in her chest.
"I know I don't deserve this god but please let me enjoy this moment" Yaku prayed to the heavens above as she wanted to enjoy every second, every minute and every moment of this miraculous meeting. She begs the powers that be to at least have this meeting to at least have him even for a bit.
The boy began to hold her as she once again miraculously met him once more.
Touma Pov
"Whoa! What's going on, why is she hugging me?" Touma questioned as he felt the warmth in his chest growing warmer and warmer by the second. He couldn't understand what was going on.
First "Kamijou Touma" is trying to tell him something and now a dark-haired beauty is clinging to him. As Touma was about to ask something he cut himself off as he felt his shoulder was wet. Then as the girl backed away he could see the tear-stained girl's face. It was like that of a child who had reunited with a lost relative.
Touma saw this and it felt like he was stabbed in the heart as he began to wipe all the tears away and began to wonder who she was to him or more accurately who she was to "Kamijou Touma" as she began to speak.
"Finally we meet again! Thank god we-we meet again" Yaku said while even more tears came down drenching her face but was contrasted by her warm and bright smile that was across her room.
He didn't know what to do. Should he act like he knows who she is or does he ask who she is? His thoughts were cut off as he heard shouting.
"TOUMA/HUMAN!!!!!" Screamed both Index and othinus as their shout was even loud enough to awaken a certain blind idiot god.
"WHO ARE YOU WHITE STREAK AND WHY ARE YOU CLINGING ON TOUMA!!!" Index shouted while questioning the girl about what she was doing to Touma.
The girl ignore Index as she kept holding on to Touma as her life depended on it. But Touma could only think about why she was smiling so warmly at him. What happened to cause her to act like this?
"Human, what the hell is going on and who is she?" Othinus said with confusion embedded in her voice.
Even Othinus who had the power of magic god and used that power to break Touma not only physically but mentally too not long ago didn't even know who this girl is as her existence drew a blank.
"I-I-I don't know" Touma stuttered as the suddenness and surprise of this situation shook him to his core. Then his eyes noticed the girl's expression: it wasn't one of sadness or joy but one of acceptance and contempt. As her face had a look of bittersweet nostalgia.
She then finally calmed down and backed away as Touma saw her eyes glisten like a starry night from recent tears drenched his shoulder.
Then she chuckled a bit. The sadness from that chuckle didn't go unnoticed by Touma when she spoke.
"Hehe, you don't remember me right?" Yaku said softly with a tone of acceptance.
When her words register in his ears the realization and surprise hit him like a truck. A question was spinning in his mind like a tornado.
"How does she know?" As Touma slowly backed up and kept thinking about how this stranger knew his secret. He was confused by this.
"Wait, you know!?" Touma and Index shouted.
"AYes I know, look, I am sorry for doing that, just meeting you made me excited and happy." Yaku said, flashing a smile that made Touma blush a bit and as he was about to speak Yaku cut him off by placing a finger on his lips.
"I know you have questions but before I answer them let's find a place to eat first okay." Yaku said so they don't cause more of a scene.
"Um sure" Touma said as he started to calm down a bit but he was still shaken by the recent chaotic events.
A few minutes later
After settling down and getting their food an awkward silence came over the group due to the sudden information from this girl and then she started to speak.
"Since we're settled down and have calmed down a bit I'll answer your questions." Yaku said in a calm and warm tone.
Touma had millions of questions rushing through his mind but the one that he asked first was.
"How do you know about my memories?" Touma asked even though at this point Touma isn't really concerned about his memories anymore; he was still stumped by this girl's knowledge of him.
"Because I saw it happen, I saw what you've been through and I saw why you were doing it." Yaku said in a warm tone
Touma sensed a bit of nostalgia in her voice as she said it as her face held a genuine smile filled with happiness but he also felt a hint of sadness in it.
"Okay I also need to ask who you are and what our relationship was like in the past," Touma asked, needing an explanation for her reaction and actions from the recent meeting.
"Hehe of course you asked that considering the scene i cause still sorry about" Yaku said while flashing a cheeky smile bu than the smile turn into a fake smile
"I am Yakudoshi, your childhood friend and I am the emanation of your misfortune. Nice to remeet you again," Yaku said with eyes that had a deep sadness in them.
"Wait what?" Touma said confuse by this identity reveal. He couldn't comprehend this. How could this beautiful girl represent his misfortune?
"Wait wait how is that even possible-" Touma questioned until he cut himself off realizing how she was made.
She was born the same way Kamijou no Touma was. A wish that was brought to life by Touma as he realized that he looked down, eyes widened from this revelation until he looked back up.
"Are you the same as him?" Touma asked, worried about what the answer might be.
"Yes and No, I am very different from him because I was form from a different wish you could say. Also don't worry I won't hurt nor do I hate you because honestly I love you," Yaku said, staring at Touma lovingly with a smile as she couldn't help but blush.
"WHAT!!!!" The trio of Touma,Index and othinus shouted surprise by this sudden confession as Yaku kept smiling.
Touma was confused, this day has been crazy and it has gone even crazier with this confession from this gothic beauty.
"Ara Ara i am sorry about this sudden confession i just never got to say that to you well this YOU anyway" Yaku said as she was clearly loving this.
"Wait when you mean by this "me" you mean?" Touma asked Yaku, still puzzled, on what she meant by this YOU.
"Yes i have confessed to you before and my feelings haven't changed since then" Yaku stated nonchalantly as if she was saying a well known fact.
"Wait what but I am not HIM so why did you confess to me" Touma said confused because that "Kamijou Touma" died when the Kamijou Touma of now was born because outwardly they're very similar but inwardly they're different with what drives them and why they do it. So logically she shouldn't even love him anymore.
"Oh that's easy to answer because" Yakusaid as she paused and looked at him for a bit with eyes that shine like a starry sky and a smile that was warm as a nighttime campfire.
"You made me fall in love with you all over again," Yaku said with full sincerity.
Those words not only made Touma cheeks turn bright red, made his heart race and skip a beat but it also made him tear up as he could feel the warmth in his chest become stronger as he could feel the Touma of the past feelings push through his chest.
"B-But how? How can someone like you fall in love with someone like me?" Touma was baffled by this girl's answer. What could he possibly have done for her to fall in love with him. Why does she look at him like that with eyes so loving and a smile so beautiful.
"Hmph hey don't put yourself down like that!" Shouted Yaku as she slammed the table as the slamming shook the plates of food on it.
"But it's-" Touma was about to before he got cut off again by another shout
"Bullshit you're great as you are so please don't put yourself down like that okay" Yaku told Touma as it looked like she was about to explode with how red she was and how her cheeks were.
"O-Okay" Touma was shocked by her outburst and noticed how cute her expression was right now with how she puffed her cheeks.
"So anyway let's finish eating okay" Yaku said wanting to switch the conversation to something else.
"Yeah okay" Touma agreed
A few minutes later
They had finished their food and now were walking around with silence blanketing over them until Index spoke
"So um Yakudoshi since you're Touma's childhood friend, what was Touma like when he was a child?" Index asked curiously waiting for an answer from the curvy Emanation.
"Oh he was sweet child and very cute one at that" Yaku said as she looked at Touma as he blushed from that comment
"Hehe yeah he was such a kind boy but" Yaku expression turned dark as a feeling of anger and guilt was emitting from the Gothic girl that made everyone there felt a chill go up their spines.
"it's horrible the way he was treated but they got what they D̴̬̖̞̺̑̏̌͘ȩ̴͔̩̟͈̱̥͖̘̍̀́ͅs̶̢̢͓̎̈́̀e̵̗̗̩̼͇̮͎͊ṛ̶̼̪̘̣̥̳̆̈̂̀̍̚͜͠v̴͕͍̗̰͕̱̝̯̖̒̄̓̍͜͝e̸̞͉̙̫̻̭̺͛d̷̦̙̭̩̦̎̄̐̅̕̕" As Yaku spoke the feeling of disgust filled the air.
The space distorted abit when those words were spoken as the trio felt the negative emotions from Yaku. But Touma felt something there as well, a familiar feeling from this as if his body knew what this was and what was causing it.
"AH! I am sorry! It's just that I have some bad memories from that town" Yaku said, snapping back to reality as she profusely apologized.
"I-It's fine" Touma said trying to calm her down
"Um yeah- No no no no not now how are they here already?" Yaku said under her breath in a panic.
"Uhh Yakudoshi you okay?" Touma asked as he was concerned by the look on Yaku's face.
"Um Touma, I need to go now, okay" Yaku said with sadness flowing out of her as she didn't want to separate from him again but knew she had to so she could keep him safe.
"Wait but we only just met, are you sure?" Touma said trying to get her to stay longer wanting to know more about her. He was about to speak again until she held his hands and spoke.
"I am sorry but i have to go but before i do i just want to say i was so happy to meet you again you have no idea how long I waited for you even if it was short, even if it amounted more to nothing but a few words i just couldn't help but be overjoyed by this so i want to say i am glad i got to meet you and fall in love with you all over again Kamijou Touma i was lucky to meet you" Yaku said as she vented out all her feelings before their final meeting as she started to run away.
"Wait Yakudosh don't… go" Touma said as he chased and reached his hand after her but was disappointed by her disappearance but then he noticed a group of individuals pushing past him as they headed towards Yaku direction.
"Wait, is that why she left so suddenly?" Touma thought as he started to get a idea on what was going on.
Touma stood there as the words of Yaku saying "I was lucky to meet you" burned into his mind. Right now Touma couldn't think of anything but wanting to chase after her. Now the fire in Touma was lit, he knew what he wanted to do.
"Index, Othinus i got to go" Touma said to his companions as he started to walk forward.
"Touma wait, I am going with you," Index shouted to the spiky-haired boy.
"But-" Touma was about to say until he was cut off.
"No Buts I am going with you besides you need someone else besides othinus from keeping you from doing something stupid" Index said with a smirk.
"Yeah human there's no way you're going alone" othinus said to her understander as she wanted to support her favorite human.
"Hehe okay let's go!" Touma said as he chukled knowing he couldn't stop them.
"Yakudoshi I may have forgotten you and the past we had but just you wait okay I am coming to save you" Touma thought to himself.
Touma and his companions ran forward towards Yaku's direction as he couldn't bear the thought of walking away as that girl was suffering the him now and the HIM then pushed forward to save the girl that loved both of them wholeheartedly.
As his heart was set ablaze to save this girl who couldn't cry for help so he clenched his chest as he went to save the smile of the girl who was in his past and now in his present.
