I dropped the call and considered going back before relaxing as I realized someone strong enough to fight on equal footing as gods were relaxing back at the compound.

With a few of my fears alleviated by that realization, I began to make my way back to my seat but someone was waiting for me when I turned around. " Ah, Sona. How can I help you? " I asked.

" I just needed to confirm something with you. " she asked which for some reason made me tense.

" Go ahead. "

" Why did you come to Kouh Academy? "

I was caught off guard by that question. There was no reasonable answer I could give. I would guess my previous body's consciousness went for schooling but I couldn't say that since I left after only a week. Sh#t, I realized how big of a mistake it was to just leave the school spontaneously.

It seems Sona noticed my inability to answer so decided to talk again." Do you know of a boy named Issei Hyoudou?" she continued to question.

" I no longer see a need." she replied while pushing her glasses up.

" Does it matter? Is it going to change anything? " I asked, beginning to feel less worried. At the end of the day, Issei was just a human who may or may not have had a sacred gear and definitely wasn't anyone she would miss. I doubted Sona would be mad enough about his death to sever any relations with me.

" Why did you do it? " Sona asked but I just huffed before leaving. I walked past Sona, but I decided to leave a comment. " I don't know why you care so much about this but I can tell you that there's no need to worry. The boy is already dead and I have no intention of hurting you or anyone at your school. The rest of the trip was uneventful and we soon found ourselves in Kyoto. We disembarked to find some tour guides sent by the Youkai. They greeted us and took our bags. While watching the youkai moving our bags, a feminine voice spoke right into my ear. " You sure took your time~ "

I turned around to see who it was and was surprised to see Tiamat. " What are you doing here? " I huffed out. " You don't sound happy to see me. " she snickered. With Tiamat being with me, the compound was not as safe as I was hoping. I wasn't too worried since there were decently strong people in the compound. Plus, the compound was a fortress with the upgrades I had gotten done.

" Nevermind. " I said before following the rest, who had been walking with our tour guides. The only ones waiting for me as my youkai and one tour guide. I motioned for the guide to lead the way and followed. " Aren't you a naughty one, leaving without telling me? " Tiamat teased.

" I'm sure I sent someone to tell you. " I stated. " I am intrigued to know why we are here." Tiamat asked.

" I may have information that could aid the youkai. "

" Is that so? "

I only nodded my head at her remark. We were taken to some expensive-looking cars and given some refreshments. Tiamat and I were the only ones in the car we were in, besides the driver.

" Do you know if the youkai have one of my treasures? " Tiamat asked. " I would think not. Well, not the West Yokai faction anyway. From what I know of them, they don't seem like the type but I'll still be inquiring. " I answered.

The drive was rather quiet and we soon found ourselves standing outside a hotel I learned was owned by the Sitris and named Serafall Hotel.

This is when we finally met up with reconnected with the group. When we finally met with the group once again, they all stared at Tiamat. " Tia-chan, you should have told me you were coming. " Serafall was the first to speak and ran to stand in front of Tiamat.

Serafall not giving Tiamat time to answer, began barraging the dragon with questions and statements. We made eye contact and I could see the pleading in her eyes. I so badly wanted to ignore her and leave just for sh%ts and giggles but I decided to be the bigger man and help her. " Serafall, is your sister alright? "

" Huh, what happened to my So-tan? " Serafall shouted while running to who knew where. " Let's go. " I said with a smirk while walking away. I heard some steps quickly following behind me and I couldn't help but chuckle at the ridiculousness of the situation." I didn't know you and Serafall were so close."

I heard a snort behind me before Tiamat finally caught up to me. " I have somewhat of a working relationship with the Maous. " I glanced at her as a prompt for her to continue but seeing her not, I decided to let it go.

When we got to my room, I gave Tiamat a questioning look. Her only response was a teasing smile. I just sighed before opening the door to my room, leaving the door open behind me. " You know Serafall would not mind giving you a room for yourself. " I said will admiring the place.

" I would like to minimise the amount of interaction I have with her. " I heard Tiamat's voice from the kitchen. I decided to look around the place and I had to say that it was luxury at its finest. I had to thank Rias for hooking me up with the sweet pad. A huge bed with mint chocolates on the pillows, a nice balcony view of the city, a nice outdoor pool just for me, well, and Tiamat I guessed with so much more.

With such an amazing chance for an experience, I immediately changed into my pyjamas and ordered some junk food, just not any junk food though but the premium stuff as it would all be paid for by Serafall. I then got a pillow and some blankets from a cupboard and spread one on the living room couch while the other one would be used to cover me.

" The snacks are finish-, " Tiamat came back from the kitchen while saying something but stopped when seeing me. " What are you doing? "

" I'm fighting the original Luicifur who somehow reincarnated into a Hispanic middle-aged woman who just came back from a stressful shift.

" What does it look like I'm doing? "

" You know it's only the afternoon and you are in an entirely new city to you. "

" ... Make space for me. " Tiamat said before leaving to change into her pyjamas and get her own pillow then sitting where I made space for her." You know, most people would be making the most of their time in a new place. "

Tiamat looked at me in bewilderment before a huge grin covered her face. " You are one of the laziest humans I've ever met. "

" You don't have to flatter me to get into my pants, you could just ask. "

We both stared at each other before laughing.

" I didn't expect the chaos karma dragon to also be a lazy @ss. "

We soon discussed what we wanted to watch and decided on gamble of thrones. Before it started, the food I ordered arrived which perfected the experience.

A couple of hours passed by in a flash but soon slowed down when a problem arose.
